Here you will see the feddbacks of people who are purchasing the services of Rush Mountain Adventure Park (Park) in the state of South Dakota.
Currently the firm has a score of 4.6 stars over 5 and that score has been based on 583 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is basically the best one, and it is founded on a large number of reviews, so we can say that the evaluation is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to set reviews when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Park is included in the category of Tourist attraction.
The park was so much fun!!!! It was not crowded. We have a 2 and 3 yr old. An 11 and 12 yr old. 2 adults. We all had fun. It was raining and the deck was really slippery so I did fall down the stairs but no one saw me so no one cared. So I guess I don't really care either! It was great!
This place is so much fun. Most affordable mountain coaster I've found and it was SO exhilarating! Wish we could've recorded the ride but that's not allowed. I also wish they had a family option for buying pictures, as they are $10 each so if you have multiple individual riders, it can add up quick. Still with it though! A great finish to a day visiting Mt. Rushmore!
Went with our kids ages 11 and 5. Everyone loved it. So much to do for $50 all day pass. The cave was an hour tour that was super cool and went quick. The roller coaster was so fun!! Great for the whole family for a great price!!
We had a blast here. No lines and set in the most beautiful setting.
This place is great! A unique park with lots of fun rides things to do. Be ready to climb the hill to see everything, but if that's not a problem, you have to spend a day here.
I love the roller coaster
Lots of activities for the family
Hannah was outstanding tour guide! And the coster and zipline was awesome!
Had a blast. Our tour guide Joe was awesome and very informative and had a great sense of humor. The coaster was my second favorite followed by the 7d shooter games. I recomend stopping if your in the area you won't regret it
The food was delicious, the beer was ice cold and the staff were friendly. The restaurant itself is very clean. Next time we visit Keystone we will definitely eat there again!!
Coaster ride was awesome!
Had a blast. The cave tour was a lot of fun and would really recommend spending the day there. Buy a wrist band for the day because it's really spendy.
We had so much fun we went back again
A great day for family
If you want to feel like your going to be ejected from the side of a mountain doing 70 mph on a track sledge, this is a must.. cant wait to go back.

The coaster is really fast!!! My kids loved it. Way better than the Alpine slides in keystone.
We had a ton of fun here. The roller coaster and the ropes course was a blast. My six year old son was very brave on the high parts of the ropes course...very fun! The cave was amazing as well. After being in the hot sun most of the day, we were able to cool off with a one hour hike in the cave.
My family spent a few hours at Rush Mountain this past weekend and everyone had a blast. I wish we had planned for more time here and will make Rush Mountain a bigger part of our trip next time. Every employee we came across was friendly and helpful.
Is not handicapped friendly
For a rainy day, this was a great option for an attraction near Key Stone that is open off-season. We were able to get the wrist band for unlimited attractions for $37. I thought this was a great deal considering everything was open except the ropes course (due to rain). We were able to get a private cave tour (just two of us), interactive video game, zipline, and coaster. I thought the cave tour led by Mathais was top notch. The coaster was really fast and the speed could be semi-controlled by the individual car operator. Highly recommend and probably even better with good weather.

Pricey but fun
This place is awesome! I recommend you go to Rush Mountain Adventure Park on a slow day for maximum enjoyment. Although the Gunslinger attraction is a bit loud for me.
Great view and a must see
Went with our kids ages 11 and 5. Everyone loved it. So much to do for $50 all day pass. The cave was an hour tour that was super cool and went quick. The roller coaster was so fun!! Great for the whole family for a great price!!
The ride was fun. But a lot of steps to climb to find out information about what each ride and how it costs. More signs would be useful.
the roller coaster here is like no other. It is a real thrill ride!! A real edge of the seat adventure!!
My kids loved this place! Ages 7, 11 and 18. Very clean and friendly staff!
Great place easy to move around the park. Lots of fun!!!
This was our second trip to Rush Mountain, and we will definitely be coming back for another. Every interaction with the staff was amazingly pleasant, and the park itself is incredibly clean. If you do not stop here while you are in the blackhills you would be doing a disservice to your family!
Lots of stairs !!! Well worth it
This was kind of fun but we had the impression there were more activities than what's actually there. Seemed over-priced but we still had a pretty good time. The cave tour guide appeared to be 14 years old, spoke fast and quiet, and stumbled over his rehearsed lines constantly. I would have rather listened to a recording.
A great day for the whole family!
Great rides great staff . Reasonable for all day rides
Wonderful cave.
Jewl(the tour guide not the rock) did a great tour made everything fun and interesting. The coaster was great as well
Staff were able to answer questions with a smile. The price to ride the Rushmore Mountain Coaster is a little high for the 30 seconds you spend riding it and the 10 minutes you spend waiting in line. Everything else about the place was fantastic.
We had a fantastic time here! Our tour guide was very informative and fun to talk to. The staff was very friendly and helpful all around. I highly recommend spending a day here.
While visiting Custer and Keystone area to see mount Rushmore, We heard a LOT of hype about this supposedly amazingly cool Mountain coaster. It would have been alright if i was like 9 years old, Not very much fun and doesn't go very fast at ALL. Decently priced though. Seemed clean and cave was very interesting, Just be prepared to park on a hill and climb a little
Absolutely amazing and alot of fun
LOVED this place! Spent the entire day here.. kiddos enjoyed it! Highly recommend.
Most well done of any family amusement's and caves we've been to... anywhere!
Loved this tour of the Rushmore Cave. The tour guide was really good. His knowledge of the cave and its history and his witty jokes were a perfect match for this tour.
Buy the wrist band, great time with your kids! Exciting rides.
Little pricey but my son had fun.
Such a fun little place nestled in the Black Hills.
Fun for the kids. They had a blast
Alpine dunes, fast, and safe. Buy the $50 pass. It is well worth it. Tour was great and wife has an artificial knee and did fine. Lot of steps so watch yours.
We had a very great time!! There's not many places where a senior citizen can go to have fun and feel like a kid again..
Staff were able to answer questions with a smile. The price to ride the Rushmore Mountain Coaster is a little high for the 30 seconds you spend riding it and the 10 minutes you spend waiting in line. Everything else about the place was fantastic.
Visited for the first time today, it's incredible!! I was a little hesitant at first because of the cost but I'm glad we went! There is something for all ages and our girls did everything and loved it all! We didn't do the cave tour simply because the kids were played out but we will definitely do it next time. The place is neat, clean and they have a fantastic staff. Each member is friendlier and more helpful than the next, we interacted with no less than ba dozen and I have nothing but good to say, super friendly and helpful to the adults and do their best to connect with the kiddos regardless of the age. 2 thumbs up and we will be back!
Fun. The shooting gallery was cool
Super fun place! Definitely worth a trip! Kaden (I think was his name) was super good at story telling!! Beautiful gift shop as well!
It was alot of fun, I love every second out there
This place really is a mountain of fun! Took my 10 year old grandson & 5 year old granddaughter - both had a blast! The Wingwalker Challenge is a great confidence builder - both kids could have spent a long time exploring it, but we had so much to experience! We all loved the cave, zip line & 7D rides, but our favorite by far is the coaster!
It was an absolutely wonderful experience from the cave to the coaster and the high ropes course. The kids loved it! Get the wrist band for sure!
the cave was great to explore
Cassie was a great tour guide through the cave!
Our family had a really good time here! The kids especially loved the cave tour. The only drawback is the huge hill and stairs to get to some of the buildings. It might be nice to have a shuttle or tram of some sort in the future. Overall, we had tons of fun!!
The kids loved all the things to do here and the staff was very polite and helpful, definitely recommend for family fun.
The coaster is so amazing and unique, great for being on a mountain, and the 7-D interactive theater is unlike anything I've ever seen, and the staff is phenomenal. I would absolutely love to visit again.
coaster was great !! get the wristbands better bang for your buck!!
Expensive but a lot of fun!
Mountain coaster was so fun, parents and 3 and 6 year old kids loved it! The cave was cool too, tour guide Kaden was very knowledgeable but was a bit rude to our 3 year old who was acting like a typical 3 year year old.
Fun place when kids are bored worth the monuments and wildlife. Lines can move slowly sometimes but it thins out around 3pm. You can get in plenty of rides in the late afternoon.
Great place! My 11 year old son loved the roller-coaster and the zip line. The caves were amazing and beautiful! The harness area (I forget it's proper name) is cool and thrilling and a great way to face fears of heights.
The rush mountain coaster was awesome. I highly recommend checking this place out . we got there a little late so cant tell you much about the other stuff there .
It was fun. But the climbing area I think would be fun for adults too
Long lines but worth the wait
Wow. This park is truly amazing. Kayden led us on a cave tour that was fun and educational. The zipline was exhilarating, and the Mountain Coaster is probably one of my favorite things about the area. Will definitely be going again.
Top notch attraction! The owners are pouring the profits back into the facility and it shows. New rides every year, everything is clean, the food is tasty, the employees are polite and conversational. Also has RV parking. Lots of stairs though, this definitely earned the "mountain" part of the name. Ride the personal roller coaster as often as you can!
The zip line is fun. The Gunslinger is more for gamers. The mountain coaster is a fast ride. We rode it 7 times. The Wing Walker is a cool challenge for everyone. The Rushmore Cave tour is a fun way to spend an hour. It is a little expensive.
Amazing place! Hannah was our guide for the cave tour and she was the best. Talked to all the kids we had with and answered questions. Absolute sweetheart! Would deff come again over and over.
Great experience! Sawyer was awesome and knew so much about the caves!
The cave is a must. All the other stuff you will find in other attractions around the country. But this cave walk is awesome. Be prepared to walk about 800 meters in a loop, up, down, up and down. I'm 280 pounds and I was able to do it. So make it happen. #MERICA
Nice place. Only did the coaster ride, but it was a blast. Staff was very nice.
This was a great value/escape whole in the area. Staff was excellent and rides were great. If former military, be sure to ask for the discount!!
Awesome spot for kids!
It's a good time spending here
Great time and good value!
Roller coaster is super fun and we had no wait on a saturday in the middle of summer. Very clean and neat place.
The alpine coaster was insane!! I rode it three times but definitely could’ve gone for 20. The employees were friendly, the grounds were well maintained, and everything could be shared with the whole family. The rope course was intricate, the 7D ride was exhilarating, and the zip line was super cool, too! I also loved the cave tours. Would go back in a heartbeat for the adventure cave tour and the alpine coaster.
Great place to have fun
Cave tour was entertaining. Couldn't touch anything in the cave and had to just stay on the path. Kids thought it was a little long.
Had a great time, had 8 of us in our party from ages 2-48. We were there for about 4 hour and it cost us $160. We would have stayed longer but it was very hot outside and the kids needed naps. Would for sure recommend others to try out.
Had a blast here all day!! Only complaint was the website pricing was different. Website said 25$ for children 5-12. It’s actually 45$ if they are over a certain height. But the cave tour and the 7-D shooter game was great!
All of the attractions are great, but be careful with the flash drive. When I got home, we were missing half of the pictures that we were supposed to have. We still got a good amount of pictures, enough to make it worth the money, but just make sure they upload them correctly
One of the best thrill rides I've ever been on
Over priced but lots of fun.
We had a great time with 2 teen girls and 2 adults. Mountain coaster was a blast. Ropes course has big variety. Interactive game fun!. Didn't do cave tour as rained and too cold and wet to venture in. Buy all day wristband and use coupon in local tourist magazine.
Great little place to take people of all ages. Recommend the cave tour.
It's a cute little amusement park. Definitely for kids more then adults. The roller coaster ride was very unusual and fun. I didn't get to see the cave yet, but I enjoyed every thing else I did. I will probably go back to see the cave. I recommend it for families.
Cave was awesome! My kiddo is 4 and could go on every thing so huge plus!!
The best part of our South Dakota vacation! Fun for our whole group, age 4 to 60. The wrist bands are the way to go; we went on all the attractions multiple times! The cave is awesome too!
Cave tour was great. Fun stuff for kids. A bit pricy but not out of line for a tourist area.
Kids had a blast. Need to add water fountains and water bottle filling stayio ns
A great break for the kids during vacation when most activities are adult focused.
Great place. Very educational and has rides and activities. Just bring anti bug spray because of the season. Love the cave tour and the rides.
This was an amazing feat. America strong American proud.
Great place, cave tour was interesting and fun!
Attended during the locals weekend. Was a decent price/fun ratio, but would've been expensive without the discount. A season pass may be the most cost effective option
Great in the off season (discounted prices) even during the season though for what you get it is very awesome!
Fun afternoon. A few fun rides, and one of the best caves I've been to. Only complaint is the ticket prices are a little high for the number of attractions offered. Lots of stairs and steep climbs. The roller coaster is fantastic!
Holy cow this was amazing. I didn't have 5 star expectations going in but was thoroughly impressed. We had a 4yr and a 2yr old and they had plenty to do. The whole family had a blast.
Do the wrist band, otherwise it's not worth it. The zipline was a joke, but the coaster was a blast
Kids had a blast. Lines moved fast.
We stopped here after visiting Mt. Rushmore to please our 4 year old son. The facility has a nice architecture and is "embedded" in nature. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. We only had time to take the roller coaster but my advice to you is to come early and purchase a daily pass. It soo worth it! There are so many activities for kids!! The coaster was so good that even as adults we felt like kids again. I laughed and yelled the whole ride and ended up with tear of joy in my eyes. We had to carve my son off the floor to the car. I definitely recommend this place to everyone! I wish we had more time for the cave tour and 10 more coaster rides!! Thank God there is a "next time".
We had a super time, the roller coaster and Zipline were really fun!
Should have another line for the young ones to do the obstacle course.
Great attractions for all ages and welcoming to families. Be prepared to be on your feet for a while due to the attractions being scattered across the lot. But otherwise an attraction that I highly recommend for families!
I have been here multiple times and never get bored! The cave tour is fun, virtual video games change so you can have a new experience for repeat visits, and the coaster is super fun! I can’t wait to check out the ropes course for my next visit!
Reasonably priced attraction.
Great place for older kids! They loved all you had to offer! The roller coaster and Zipline were awesome. You would benefit from a playground on site for kids to play while waiting for others to finish rides. Also, two lines to do the ropes course would be wonderful. The little tykes kids had to wait in line with adults and older kids. There were often only 1-2 little kids on the course because of this. This led to a longer wait than necessary for both lines.
We had so much fun!!!! Awesome friendly Employees!!
Fun place for the whole family
Very nicely maintained. Loved the coaster! The other attractions were cool, too, but the lines took a long time.
This place was so much fun. The coaster is crazy fast. The zipline line was long so id do that early. They have a great cave tour make sure you check in at the caves to get a time [no one told us, but they were able to accomidate us]. We didnt have time to do the 7D adventure, but some other kids were raving about it. It seems a little pricey for the adventure pass but if you have a day to spend, its so worth it! I hope we can go again soon
For older kids, need upper body stength obstacle course.
Good family fun. Reasonably priced. Clean, well-run faculty. The mountain coaster was a blast! Cave tour was cool. If you have the time, the wrist bands for all- activity pass would def be worth it.
We have done many cave tours all over the country and this was by one of the best. Kevin was great, but the actual path and experience in the cave were great. If you are over 6'3", they will let you go but you won't like it. My son is 6'3" and barely made it. Hit his head a time or two. I am 5'7" and had to bend over several times too. Beautiful cave though and the kids LOVED the mountain coaster. I highly recommend this place!
We had so much fun at this place! Came for the cave tour (which was pretty good), but ended up having even more fun with all the rides and activities. The roller coaster is awesome! You can easily ride it 3-5 times (assuming there's no lines, which was the case when we were there in early Aug). The ropes course is also very cool. It feels pricey, but I'd highly recommend the wristband for unlimited rides. Buying individual tickets doesn't get you very far.
The rollercoaster and 7D video game shooting theater was awesome. My daughter loved the climbing play ground they have also. The cave was cool also but its not for the handicap or elderly.
You should definitely stop here! We spent a few hours here. Theres a cave tour, a little mountain coaster and other fun things! All the staff was really nice too!
We went on the regular cave tour and loved it. Our guide was a little monotone but she was knowledgeable. We didn't do any of the other activities as we thought they were overpriced compared to other attractions in the area.

My daughter, grandchildren and I went on the Mountain Coaster ride. It was a blast. We loved being able to be in control of the speed as we went around the pig tail turns. Every interaction with staff was pleasant, from the ticket sales, to the staff passing by, to the staff that helped us get safely on the ride. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will certainly be going back and would highly recommend Rush Mountain
Awesome place! Not sure what I like the best, Gunslinger 7D Ride, Soaring Eagle Zip line or the Mountain Coaster. It's the Coaster!! Love it! Wristband is the best deal
We showed up right as a storm was coming in and they tried to get us on but sadly could not. They were so sweet and refunded our tickets since we were passing through. The kid even put an X through the tickets so we could atleast keep them as souvenirs which was amazing. Next time I'm out there I will definitely be going back just because of how amazing and kind they were.
This was the most amazing tourist attraction I've ever experienced as a local in the black hills. Can't wait to get season passes next year. Cassie did an awesome job on the cave tour!! So much fun I highly recommend to everyone. The price is high but well worth it
The Valentine's event was wonderful. It was nice to experience the attraction without the crowds.
Kevin was amazing during the Rush Mountain cave tour. He was extremely funny, patient, and knowledgeable. He answered every question with ease. We had a blast 10/10 would do this again!
Fun! Check the heights of your kids before buying tickets. There are restrictions.
There was so much to do here and plenty of time to get it done. They have a zip line, a "7d" ride which was actually pretty fun considering I came in first, a mountain coaster which my daughter in I rode over and over again with minimal waiting, an obstacle course for adults and children, and a cave tour to cool down in when you're done with everything else. You can buy an unlimited bracelet which includes the cave or just pay for each attraction separately.
One of the more fun things around to do, just don't expect a like six flags experience and a bit expensive.
The cave tour was really fun. I loved seeing the inside of the cave. The tour guide was also great. He had some bad corny jokes which were funny. All in all he was a nice guy. I would definitely go on another cave tour or do one of the adventure tours!
My grandson and I really enjoyed this place
Lots of fun! My kids enjoyed the cave and rides.
Loved it.10/10 would do again.be aware the penny crushing machine is a buck not fifty cents.if you wash rocks buy the better bag check out the skywalk thing and the cave.potties are very nice.
Awesome customer service. The crew went above and beyond to accommodate us. Savanna checked with management and the tour guides for our unique requests. The cave tour was awesome. The "adventure" caving tour was well worth the cost, highly recommended for the slightly adventurous. Kevin was an awesome tour guide!!! Would highly recommend this place maybe even more than three unhelpful National Park caves in the area. This place and the people ROCK !!!
Great for the whole family!
The rollercoaster and 7D video game shooting theater was awesome. My daughter loved the climbing play ground they have also. The cave was cool also but its not for the handicap or elderly.
Gorgeous ride through the Black Hills National Forest - breathtaking views. Fun, adventurous and educational too. Something for everyone. **I found accessibility for people with limitations to be difficult though** I was challenged by the amount of stairs to entrance and strenuous cave walk. Beautiful location, facilities, equipment and staff. Gift shop, bathrooms, snacks, gifts and souvenirs. We (2 adults) were there for a couple hours; however, it was raining. If you have kids, nice weather or plan more activities (coaster, zip line, challenge, guided tour, panning for gold, etc), plan on several hours. Although signs along the way gave no distance - enjoy the ride!
Very fun place in fortunately if there is lightning they close down the rides for safety which can be pretty boring and sucks when you pay that much money to be there. The cave is pretty cool.
Probably the funnest spot on our whole trip. So much to do there. Was the coolest cave I have ever been in and was easy to tour for a group of 8 to 38 year Olds. Then you can spend the rest of the day. Trying out all of there fun rides. The mountain roller-coaster is a must. That thing really moves. It isn't the cheapest visit but I would recommend springing for the unlimited rides that includes a cave tour. You get to do it all and the kids will definitely want to ride the coaster more than once. I think a few of our kids rode over 10 times.
Over hyped like all adventure Parks but what really made this place nice was the caves.
Great way to spend a day! Get the wristbands and get there early so the lines are non-existent! Lots of rides in before 10am!
Took the cave tour with our family of 6. 4 kids ages 3,3,7,8 all had a great time and are able to navigate through the cave. Was such a fun experience. The tour guides was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. All the staff we encountered was very kind. Would highly recommend this tour!
The kids AND the parents had a blast! The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. Will be a definite stop on all future trips to SD!
A very fun excursion on a Black Hills vacation!! For a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids- ages 8 and 11) we paid $205 for unlimited wristbands. We did everything (ropes course, roller coaster, virtual reality game, zip ride and cave tour) once. We arrived to the park at 10 am and didn’t have to wait at all to ride the roller coaster which was awesome. The roller coaster was everyone’s favorite thing! Super fast and just really fun. We did the ropes next and didn’t have to wait at all for that either. The top level is fun and scary! We all loved the ropes course. A lot more people started coming to the park (it was 11am) and lines started to become an issue. We waited for an hour for the zip ride which is a 1 minute ride. But it was fun - kids loved it. We did VR next and waited about 15 minutes. Pretty fun- kids loved it. We ate lunch- decent food and prices. Last was the cave tour. We only waited a few minutes for it. It was about an hour long which was too long for this family but we had a great tour guide. Her name was Jules. She was funny, smart, entertaining and super well spoken. She was only 14! Couldn’t hardly believe that. She was awesome!! We spent about 4 hours at the park. If we went right when it opened at 9 we would have been able to do it all in 3 hours. Go early for shorter lines!
Fun rides and a great cave tour!
Great place! Expensive but worth it!
Great staff. Fun for the whole family.
Lots of fun but prepare to traverse many, many steps and acute angled ramps. The cave had offer 400 steps on its tour. The coaster was excellent.
Went in just to spend an hour that we had to waste, ended up staying 4 hours instead.
intresting place.
Absolutely great time! Plenty of activities for anyone! Kaden is a fantastic guide for the cave tour.
The kids enjoyed the rides!
We experienced the cave in 2007 and it was great. Went back this year, 2018 and they have added so many great rides. Buy a wrist band for each family member and enjoy at least half a day of unlimited rides, which also imcludes the cave tour. This really could be made into a whole day trip. Not very handicap accessible, due to the mountain like terrain but the coaster is accessible. Plan to hike up steep inclines to most of the activities. We went on a Monday in August and had no lines to deal with meaning our kids went on ride after ride after ride.
Not much to do there. Zipline not much.
We came here mainly for the cave tour but found so much more! The ropes course is suitable for almost all ages and the coaster ride is one of the most fun I've been on. You can experience it at full speed or at your own pace. Definitely a must visit on your Black Hills vacation.
Nice place for the family... an adventure in the mountain. Kids loved it!
This place is awesome! Great place place to spend the day with your family
Cassie gave a great tour. This cave was awesome
