We were in Charleston for a vacation, and brought our 18 m/o daughter to Splash Island. There were plenty of things to entertain her, and it was fun having things that she could play in. She LOVED the small turtle slide. We came late May, so it's wasn't very busy, which was nice. Most impressive: THE LIFEGUARDS. They were 100% engaged with their jobs, fully alert and paying attention to each and every kid there. I felt very safe and loved having the freedom to play with my daughter knowing they would be there immediately to help if something went wrong.

Perfect for little kids. I love the size of the park. Hard to lose sight of your kid. I went after three to avoid big crowds and it was perfect. My three year old and 10 months baby had a blast. Totally recommend taking your kids here. They have one big slide, probably for big kids. Nothing is deeper than four feet.

My family and I went to Splash island waterpark last year. They had rids for young children as well they have a slid that Audit can ride on it. They have picnic table outside so you are more then welcome to bring your own food from home with you.

So there is impeding inclement weather and the management did not want to give a refund even thoughh I had been there less than an hour. The entire staff that I dealt with was very rude and uncooperative. I understand the concern for safety. However, to close the entire park and say there is no refund policy is ridiculous. While I did eventually get my refund after being adamant about it, you can be sure I will never return and will spread the word about the unprofessionalism of the entoire staff at every opportunity. By the way, we did hang out in the park for another hour after everyone was thrown out... never once was there an raindrop or lightening bolt to be seen.

This us a great place to cool off with your kids. Lots of water play areas, fountains, and a really cool water slide. The lifeguards there are constantly watching the kids. One kid started struggling staying above water while we were there and the lifeguard jumped into action very quickly. I was impressed. Not expensive and we could have stayed there all day. Definitely worth checking out!

This place is fantastic and reasonably priced. The kids (2-12 years) and adults all had fun. The staff could have been a little more friendly, and there were some slippery spots not marked. If not for that, I would have given it 5 stars. We would visit again!

This is the perfect spot for younger kids to have a blast and parents feel safe because of the size of the Waterpark you can pretty much see everything from any giving area. The price to get in is good. Lifeguards stationed at different areas and walking around constantly make you feel safe that nothing will happen to your kids. Overall the family had a blast and will continue to go here.

Splash Island is part of the Charleston County Park system, and is designed for toddlers and elementary-aged children. A large and small slide, spray pool, moving Rapids pool and shallow pool. Plenty of attentive life guards. Great snack bar. Friendly and attentive staff.

Perfect for my 4-yr-old! After a morning At the beach, we needed a change of pace. This was perfect. Came at 3:00, so it was only $15 for 3 of us. Definitely not a place for older kids wanting hardcore slides.

It was fun for the kids but someone hitted my mom's car(a hit and run) and my mom tried opening her trunk and it doesn't hold up by itself anymore, someone has to hold it up. My mom called back the nxt day and no one wanted to be manger of the day,then they told my mom call back Monday she did tht and nobody still wanted to b manager. My momma gotta pay it all back and they didn't even offer a refund of atlease half of wat we paid

I love this splash zone! People don't search and complain that this water park is for little kids. This is perfect for toddlers! My 10 month old loved walking around and splashing the water. Loved it!

It's a great little water park. It doesn't have a lot of "attractions", but for the price it's fantastic. I can stand in the middle and keep an eye on all 3 of my kids from one place. There are lifeguards stationed throughout that are very attentive. Overall a fun, if small, water park.

They should tell folks it's for toddlers. My 12 year old was quite disappointed that there was nothing for her to do. The one slide they have is geared toward younger children. Their lazy river is so small and shallow that no adult can utilize it. The pool is no deeper than 4 feet and everything else is designed for toddlers. Waste of money.

The staff here went above and beyond to make all guests were safe during a random terrible lightning storm. The lightning came close to striking my son if it wasn't for one of the lifeguards. They even recovered our bag with our car keys getting drenched. Besides providing us among many with shelter, they also shuttled all of us to our vehicles. Truly remarkable staff!
