Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of room for kids to play. Loved the big monkey Joe birthday chair. Prices were pretty high for just a soda or snack. The ladies room was somewhat bad but husband says mens room was good. Overall a great birthday party place for the kids!

My Hearts

Not as nice as other Monkey Joes' that we have visited, but still enough to keep the children happy. Given 3 stars because the children had an awesome time. Most importantly 5 stars was not given because some of the inflatables need to be replaced. There was excessive wear and tear and too many patches on a couple of the inflatables. Customer service was ok. Place was a lot cleaner than the first time we visited.

Took my daughter here for the day to have some fun...they didnt have many blow ups for her to play on and it cost quite a bit. You can't bring outside food inside to eat either and most of the arcade games in the arcade area are out of order..

This Monkey Joe’s location is really dirty. There was actual trash on the floor and a leak in the roof. Make the drive to the one in Matthews, it’s much better!

Very very very disappointing ☹️. We booked a birthday party more than a month ago and last Saturday was my daughter's birthday party. If you ask me the experience it was very bad. There's no one to host the party, pizza came late , no souvenir cups for kids , no ice cream were surved, not even exclusive visit of the so called monkey joes .and lastly we have to vacate the room with 2hour ,and no wave off as we'll. I strongly opposed to throw any birthday party. If I had a choice I will not give any star .☹️☹️☹️

Dirty, run down, we paid for a game package as an up-sell and at least 1/2 (yes half) of the games were unplugged and broken. No ticket dispensing for the kids on the games that did work. If you ord we a soft pretzel you need to tell them you want salt on it. They charged 3.00 for a soft pretzel that they put in the microwave. The kids wear their socks and the bathrooms were filthy, dried pee all over the toilets. It reminded me of a public restroom at a bus station. Really really sad that we paid to use the place. It was absolutely dirty like a state fair.

This particular Monkey Joes location has certainly gone down quite a bit since my last visit. I was very surprised by the appearance of the facility itself and the employees working there. A lot of the games were out of order, it had a bad odor, and a lot of the employees seemed to be riding the clock. The kids all seemed to be having fun, so I guess that's what matters most.

The place is dirty, they have taken out all the good stuff, wifi doesn't work. My kid got bored pretty quick then he wanted to play the games which are mostly all claw games that nobody ever wins. Staff is really slack. And everyone I was with just walked right out the doors and nobody ever checked a wristband and they used to do that. I won't be back here again. Cost way too much for what you get.

My daughter was scared to get in the jump house due to it being so worn down. One was clearly deflating and should be taken down. Definitely needs a face lift and some TLC from the owner. 10.99 is way high for this particular place.

It's pathetic today... Basketball for kids got no balls.. Football kick got no balls... The ducky splash got water without any force..Lots of elder kids on the area where they are not supposed to be.. Overall it's too bad for money spent.

I was not impressed with this location. The staff was less than helpful and the pizza was horrible. The costume that the Monkey Joe's person had on was dirty and ragged and the kids were scared of it. I did not understand the contract we paid for 16 kids and 10 showed up and there is no policy for a refund. Not worth the money.. A bunch of kids running a business.

My girls love Monkey Joes. The only thing I’ve noticed is they need some different bouncy houses. Some look tattered. Also need more of the games to be working. Prices are decent. My kids love the popcorn. Good place to go to if you just want to let the kids run and play while you get a little free time in.

I had my son party there only person that was nice and help me was Arlo and I appreciate him the other managers had a attitude basically saying we need hurry up bcus it’s another party but they had us waiting on our pizza for the party for almost hour and half the only person apologize about it was arlo the worker who host my party not one time did I see a manager until she came back there whispering saying our time was up like we wasn’t cleaning up already , and moving our stuff . I’ve been a manager for 5 years and they need train they managers better not once did a manager come apologize or anything for inconvenience when I’m spending my money here..Then all the game machine was down then after the party I’m trying get my son together to leave the manager send arlo back to rush me to pay like I wasn’t going pay for the party. This was the worse ever for my son 1st party next year I pick a better place if it wasn’t for Arlo being nice amd getting me everything I needed I would’ve hated this place. Sorry

Went for a birthday party. The personal attendant for the party was slow with drinks and things they needed but the attendant at the prizes was very sweet. It wasn't over crowded so that was nice...Thenagain this was back in December lol. They close at 8:30 and were eager to. Overall, it was a decent experience.

Gross. A friend and I wanted to beat the heat with our one year olds and decided to stop here. For $6/each we were very disappointed. The "toddler" area is a mat with nothing but a table and a little piano. Apparently they could go into the little bouncies, but...they're 1 and that doesn't bode well with 3 year olds. The area wasn't sectioned off at all and there were unprotected outlets and CORDS hanging out where our littles could get to them!!!! Even the Bob The Builder train thing had live wires sticking out where the babies could get ahold of it (pictures attached). Floors were filthy and the bathrooms were even worse - at only 10:30am on a Friday, so you know they hadn't been cleaned the day before. I can see how the money may be worth it for older kids, but charging anything for babies is a joke.

The staff is friendly however they do nothing to monitor the kids. At one time there were four staff members standing at the check-in sing their feet were glued to the floor when I asked to purchase a game card none of them walked over to the unattended register. There were huge kids 6 -12 in the 3 and under play area and no one said anything I had to tell them that that was the 3 and under play area and they should go on the big cake bounce houses. At one point and 8 year old knocked my two-year-old completely out of the bounce house he was hysterically crying I went to tell the attendees and no one still did anything. Just awful.

I very rarely come here and every time I do, I'm reminded why it's been so long. Only 4 jumps for big kids. Neither of the two "rides" are working and literally half the games aren't working. If I had actually paid to get in here, I would be livid. I will not be back again unless it's for another birthday party (meaning we get in for free) and even that would be a maybe. There used to be a parent's lounge with nice chairs and a TV. There also used to be a carosel. All that is gone. Just a few jumps, lots of open space where the kids run and bump into each other, and a handful of pitiful overpriced games. Just sad. And because there are only a few lame jumps, kids get bored quickly and then bug you to play the games which just wastes even more of your money. I don't write reviews often, but I am so thoroughly disappointed that I had to share.

My little cousin had his 1st birthday party here. We chose the smallest party package, for 8 kids & ordered 16 slices of pizza. When the pizza arrived, it was a single large Domino's (14") pizza with each slice cut in half. We were under the impression that we would receive two full pizzas with normal sized slices. We didn't receive enough utensils to serve our party. We were also served a broken pitcher of soda which leaked everywhere. Overall, the service was not particularly warm, as we had very little interaction with them, as opposed to places such as Chuck E. Cheese's. Despite all that, the kids seemed to enjoy the games & inflatables. For as much as we paid for this experience, we were left very underwhelmed with the service. We do not plan on returning & would not recommend it to others.

The bounce house area is well kept and there are various levels of difficulty in each bounce house. However, the concessions are slightly pricey and the bathrooms are not particularly clean. Overall it is not a bad place to take kids, especially on discount toddler days

WiFi is available, however the plugs are on the floor in the walk way so kids will trip on the cord when passing by. There is one plug on the wall but that is a corner, which keeps you from seeing your kids.

My experience@Monkey Joes was horrible! On December 24th 2016,My 4 year old daughter was suppose to have her party here,&didnt.We never made it inside the party room,&we was suppose to go inside the room@5:00 due to the food not arriving because they never ordered it per Dominoes.We had 8children and 15 Adults standing and sitting outside of the party room waiting to go in,the host came and said that it would be a little while longer.I paid for another pizza that was already there,& the host brought it in and sat it on the table beside the cake and the pizza sat there for a good thirty mins until I reminded her that the pizza was going to be too cold for the kids to eat,&so she put it back in the warmer,which to me was cross contamination.So I went up to Bryan who was the Shift mgt on duty to ask what was the problem and he couldnt give me an answer.By this time I'm upset and mad,but calm because you wanted your money up front before the party started,&this happens.I felt that Monkey Joes didnt live up to their promise as a company.Nevertheless the place was nasty,I paid for games and half of them did'nt work,the bathrooms were nasty,Bryan tried to give me back $25.00 when I asked for a refund,I refused to take it,Bryan tried to contact uppper mgmt,It was a Straight Downfall.I usually have my kids nothing but the best.Chucky Cheese has "Never" gave me any problems,but with this being my first,&the last@Monkey Joes this is a lesson learned..Overall CMPD was called,I went Live on Facebook,I have contacted BBB,Action Nine,&overall Corporate,&Still no response from Corporate Mgmt.I had to call Pineville Monkey Joes just to get more information because University told me that there wasn't a corporate number,or anyone that I could speak with.Its even sad when CMPD tells you that their always called out to this location for foolishness,Something has to change with this location,&mgmt.I "WOULDN'T" recommend anyone to have a party @this location period..I'm getting the runaround about my refund..Who does that?You can take my money but you can't give it back? Monkey Joes dropped the ball on making my daughters party a disaster. My 4yr old daughter cried,&asked "WHY" she did'nt get to have her birthday party?I could'nt give her an answer.I was Embrassed, Upset,Confused,&Overall Pissed.The only answer that I recieved from Bryan was the head boss is on Vacation call again tomorrow....I can't give you his number but I will give him yours.... Overall "All I Want Is My Money Back"...Bottomline!

My son was turning 4 and having this to be a last minute thing seeing chunky cheese was packed having to come to monkey joes made this experience more worst then what was already accumulated. i could go on and on... The games were not functioning properly. Hopefully this attraction upgrade their customer service as well as their games.

do not go if your child is younger, went with my daughter and there are only 2 bounce items that she is allowed on with me. they were partially deflated and some of the figures had holes in them. we were not allowed on the other bounce items as adults are not allowed to go on them, and she needs my help. highly disappointed

Lively place. Fun things to do and you can easily spend an afternoon with kids here. It's pretty big too so doesn't feel crowded which usually happens in other such places.

This place was not like it is represented on the web page.It looks like a big place with a lot to do.All they have are 4 jumpy houses and a baby one.And a bunch of over priced games/ jip joints that you can't win.We took my daughter and three friends and they we're bored after 10 mins.So I feel like I blew 40 bucks.In my opinion I would not go there if I were you.So you want be disappointed.

The worst place ever. The employees were rude or just standing there no help at all. It wasn't clean. And there was nothing delightful of this place at all. My nieces and nephew's 2 and under could only get in one indlatiable by themselves and the staff was no help. However the bigger kids werent supposed to jump at all. Just simply a waste.

Got here at opening time today with my 5 year old son. He was ready to leave by 10:30 because there were no other kids here yet to play with. That is when the two staff members on duty took it upon themselves to play with him. They absolutely made my son's day. They went way above and beyond. Very impressed. They don't get paid for that.

Usally it's a very fun atmosphere and a great place but the current staff stinks, especially Kalee. I'm not sure if she's a manager but she had an attitude from the time the door opened. She wouldn't acknowledge customers standing in front of her. She would say something snappy and go back into the office. If it wasn't for my son's birthday, I would have told her where to stick her attitude. Until this place gets back on track, I think it's definitely worth a few extra dollars to go to Chuck E Cheese instead.
