My kids have always enjoyed themselves here. They are 4 and almost 2 and they both run themsleves ragged in here. Floats are in decent shape but I notice some issues with leaky ceilings. Sometimes buckets are out to catch the water. My kids know to avoid them. Never an issue with staff but we never need help either. The key is supervising your own kids. Of course if there a bunch of 10 year olds on 1 bounce house you should probably move your 2 yo to a different bounce house. It is overall a decent place to kill time.

I had my 4 year old a birthday party here and it was a disaster. When we arrived the party room was dirty and not ready. The host did not host the party me and my husband did. She was pregnant and I understand that but she shouldn’t have been a host the service was terrible. A lot of the games did not work. And monkey joe never came in to greet the children. How do you not have monkey joe come out at all, terrible! I paid over $300 and the service did not meet my standards at all. Please be aware of this place when planning a party it’s a waste of money and they refused to refund me. Only offered a gift card to return I declined it. I will never come here again. I plan on contacting a news station for further assistance. Oh yea the Regional manager never reached out to me like they said in the response below!

Firstly the "Up&Away was broken. It took quite some time for the manager to come. She did refund my card. Secondly and most annoying, their card did not show the 1000 tickets my son got for playing "Spin". I was told "Sorry our computer does not show that". So the lesson here is if you get good results from playing games, you'd better take a picture as a proof. Otherwise prepare yourself for the innocent look on their faces. Thirdly 3 out of their 4 drinking machine are broken. Very bad experience.

They have really down sized. I was shocked when I walked in and only saw about 7 or 8 inflatables for the older children. 1 inflatable 1 small play area for the younger children. Was very disappointed & so was my 5 yr old. She normally would spend hrs jump in. This day she only jumped an hr.

Went today and the place some of the bounce houses were low on air, the play area for the kids was pretty ok. They could use with a few more bounce area. The MAIN thing is the stagf needs to be retrain the front gate was left open so small children if not watched properly could easily walk right on out

I really enjoyed it! It was my first time in a place like that and it really was a good experience. My only concerns are that children had access to the blowers behind the bouncy house and that seems a bit unsafe. Other then that it was very clean, bouncy houses looked to be kept up with. I will definitely come back!

We used to love taking our summer camp/afterschool group to Monkey Joe’s for a field trip. Unfortunately it has gone down hill in the last couple of months. The staff is rude and does not walk around and monitor the facility. This is extremely dangerous since there’s no one to ask the bigger kids to stay off the 3 and under inflatables. There’s no one to stop kids from running. In fact, no one told our group of 16 kids the rules at all. Monkey Joe does not make an appearance anymore either. We have had kids excited to see him the last few times but he doesn’t come out. The inflatables are damaged and most are not inflated fully. Some have very little bounce. The ceiling was leaking in several places. They had a bucket on the ground to catch water leaking from the ceiling. We are very disappointed in the way this business has changed.

Great thing to do with younger kids (older kids would probably enjoy Chuck E Cheese more for the games). The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it isn't crazy expensive ($7 for a 1 year old). The kid-check system could be better (maybe a gate that latches?) The littler kids section is a nice touch, but could use some new toys. A few of the games have been down for a few weeks now and there's a steady leak in the ceiling above the entrance to the main bounce house (which has a LOT of patches). There's also exposed outlets which doesn't seem safe for the littler kids, that like to touch everything, like my kid does. As long as a parent is watching (which I know a lot of them just like to just sit and play on their phones) and supervising their children, all should be ok, but, like I said a good amount don't. Our second time here was on a Sunday when there were a lot of b-day parties happening, there were so many kids in the princess bouncer that the back corner was collapsing in on itself. No one came over to have the extra kids come out (parents or staff). In short, it's a great place to go when they're not busy, and have your kid(s) blow off some of their excess energy for an hour.

This place has fallen apart. The slides and jump houses have patches everywhere. The air is just flowing out no bounce what so ever. My so. Got stuck on the slide because there was not enough air flowing because of all the patches falling apart. I also feel that if you are going to offer food like hot dogs, pizza and pretzels that you either do it right or not at all. It was stale and cold and if ypu are chargong $3.00 for a hot dog atleast make it fresh and warm. Kids could get sick from stuff like that. Needless to say we wont be back. Urban Air charges the same entrance fee and the equiptment, atmosphere and the food is way better. I also felt like management was nowhere to be found and maybe there wasnt a manager there but maybe they should re-think that. Goodye forever Monkey Joe’s of Matthews!

This place is awful!! There was water dripping from the ceilings, more than half the games were out of order (of course they didn't mention that when I purchased a game card), the baby section has broken toys, the bounce castles we're all deflating, and scissors were left on the counter for any child to run up and grab. Too expensive, especially for such a terrible experience and the staff just doesn't care. I will never go back and would definitely not recommend.

Very friendly staff. Inexpensive entertainment for the whole day. It cost less than $10 (including tax) per one child for the day. You have to purchase a card that you load with amount of your choice to play games and enjoy other attractions. However the inflatable bouncy slides and castles are included in the daily pass. Me and my 8-year daughter had a blast!

It's a great place for kids to play on those rainy days or sweltering hot days. It would help if they had an electronic waiver to complete once oppose to filling one out on paper every time you go...total inconvenience. Other than that, fun times.

The place used to be really nice but it is wuickly falling apart. Broken knobs are just tapped over. At least 4 games seemed as if they were in the process of breaking down or actually just broken. Could be cleaner. Front desk doesn't smile. Fix games!! The prizes are items you can purchase at the Dollar tree but you will easily waste $40 playing half broken games. Will go somewhere else next time.

I haven't been here in awhile but my friend and I decided to bring the kids. Some of the bounce houses were not fully full with air and were leaning. Not all of the games were working. The machine to reload the game card was out of order. The roof was leaking in several areas. The bathroom wasn't kept clean and stocked. The list goes on. Monkey Joe's is for sure not what it used to be and is very run down.

It was my daughter’s 3 year old birthday. I had booked it online and never been to the place. When I had time, I went there for a tour of the place from the assistant manager and she was great. It was amazing and all the kids had fun. Fun, Safe, Affordable, kids friendly, and just fabulous.

Plenty of fun to be had by kids 2-12. All ages can play arcade games. They have a baby changing table in the ladies restroom, but not in the men's. We would go more often, but prices are a bit high.

Bouncy house amusement place for kids under 13. They have various obstacles for kids to climb on and slide down. Very small toddler area for kids 3 and under. Small gaming selection for such a large place. They have a snack bar that serves pizza nachos and candy and drinks.

Awful. Camp kids running mad around this place. No supervision. I highly recommend BIG AIR of Sardis Rd. Staff play with the kids and every area is monitored and they have an awesome area for under 6. Monkey Joe is old news. Place is dirty, broken toys in the baby area and over priced

When we first walked in the lady behind the desk was very rude! Then she sent us to sign a waiver before we could even pay to go in. Then she just walked away. The lady that noticed we were standing there waiting came over and was super nice. We ended losing our card with the tickets on it. She let my son pick something out anyways:)! We'll definitely be going back. Thanks to the one lady that acted like she enjoyed her job and kids. The food is really expensive tho. But we expected that.

Great place to take the kids. Inexpensive around $5 on a weekday is what I was charged. Clean place and well maintained blowup toys. Staff was courteous. You have to fill out a waiver form for your kid. They have some snack foods like popcorn and pizza. They have quite a few arcade games as well. You can have parties here. Located at back of shopping center.

Worst experience ever. Had my son's 7th bday party tjere today paid for the expensive package and didn't get balloons or goody bags the guy that was in charge of our party was awful and didn't know what he was doing. My 3 yr old son couldn't play bc they wouldn't allow me to help him said no adults allowed I mean my son needed help. Yes they gave me a discount but not enough I spent well over $250 and it was not worth it. The game machines didn't wrk the poor kids kept loosing there tokens and had to keep asking for more, all in all I would never have a party here again and I hope no one else does. Just awful and my son could have had a better party more fun and less of a headache. Don't have party's here.

2 stars because what matters is my daughter had fun and a couple members of the staff were helpful and friendly. We ordered pizza 30 minutes prior to the time we planned to eat as we were told by the staff to do. An hour and a half went by and no pizza so we ended up cancelling and our party went out to eat somewhere after. Half of the arcade machines were either not on or not working. Seems like there should have been staff walking around monitoring or at least checking on guests jumping on the bouncy houses but we didnt see any the entire time. They were all behind the counter in the office area. I am really glad I did not waste money on a birthday package. Instead, I paid for a list of guests and used the free tables that were available to have a my daughters 3rd bday party. Came out waaaaay cheaper. We will only come back so my kids can jump but will never have a party here.

Great place to take a kid up to about 10-12 to have a great time for about 2 hours of non stop fun. You don't have to worry about who is there the kids are secure inside. They have to be accompanied by an adult and banded and scanned so no worries. The blow up are large enough to play on without them being overweming.

Awful experience. Had a Birthday party for my 6 year old son. Made a reservation ahead of time. When arrived, and started serving kids they ran out of coke and popcorn that we ordered. Also we ordered Sprite to be served since they ran out of coke, and they brought fruit punch when kids finished pizza and were so thirsty and asking for something to drink! Also, ran our of T shirts for bday boy,(we requested) instead he got a monkey. Had to go and ask several times for things to be brought/served they were suppost to do. They didn't announce his name even though they said they will, and we had to run and ask all the kids to come to the room. Thought it was gonna be care free birthday but it was all a mess. On the top of that they charged us twice by accident and refuse to refund the extra charge because they "dont see it on their side". I was there, opened my bank account and showed the manager charge. They told us it will be refunded on Monday and they will call us. No one did. Once I called they said they will look into it and call me back in 10 mins. It's the end of Tuesday and no one called. I will get my money back regardless since I have proof, just hate to waste my time on this worthless intertaintment center. Awful customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would.

It has been awhile since we have been to monkey joe’s but we brought the family today for my sons birthday and it was awesome!!! They have completely renovated since I was here last and it’s much nicer. It isn’t as crowded as before and it was extremely clean. The kids loved all the slides and games. This is an excellent place to bring the kids and they can play in a safe environment and the adults can sit back and relax a bit!!!

I spent over $200 between food and admission not one time did cashier let me know they were out of ice. When I realized the pitcher they gave me wasn't cold. I than went to the workers and ask her for some ice. She stated there ice machine was out of service. How personal is that. She should of told me this before I order food and drinks. Then when I brought it to her attention she looks as if I was wrong. Not a good experience. Will nor be going back.

Took my 2 year old there for almost 2 hours. He ended up having a lot of fun as he says "jumping, jumping, jumping" I got him a game card that was $8 and me and him got lots of tickets so he got to go home with a couple new little cheap toys. The place looked pretty clean for a kids place so no complaints on that part. However some of the games looked a little old and broken but I guess that's to be expected. Went around 3:30 on a Wednesday so it wasn't so busy good for my kid since he gets scared easily by the bigger kids. Overall great first experience.

I've been taking my children to this Monkey Joe's location since my 11 year old son was old enough to walk. Today I brought my 11 year old son 4 year old son and wife to Monkey Joe's only to have the worst experience ever . Don't make the mistake of asking for a slushie for your child that you paid $25 for two children because that would be silly right? Well apparently it was not only silly but a reason for one of the staff behind the desk to ask me if I would want to handle things outside. I will never go to this location again but we will have to go to another one because my children do love to bounce. This was once a great Monkey Joe's and now it is turned into a hangout for rude teenagers it apparently like to get high and chill rather than do their job

I went there with my little ones and they had a BLAST! Really they did. They are different age groups and they both had such a great time. I didn't find one single issue with them. The bathroom was clean and the kids had a great time. Even when I was given the wrong address and went to the wrong Monkey Joe's, the staff was just wonderful. I will definitely return.

They shut down the inflatables with kids still in them and tried to tell me it was automatic. (I confirmed with another location they are NOT supposed to turn them off until all children are out.) My three year old son was in it when it started to collapse and it scared him. Thank goodness he wasn't on the part that's up high! It didn't do that the week before when we were there. I was furious and the manager acted as though she couldn't care less. Total lack or safety on their part! They only gave us a ONE minute warning! Never mentioned that they would shut down the inflatables.

I don't know what happened to this place but it seems to have gone downhill in the past 6-12 months. There is not alot of staff working the floor and we noticed lots of bigger kids playing in the 3 and under bounce houses which is a real hazard to the little ones. We used to enjoy coming here but there has been a noticeable decline of maintenance. About 1/2 the arcade games were broken along along with other "out of order" amenities like the water fountain, card reader, etc.

Bouncehouse deflating and got holes in it. They put me and my one and two year son out because my son accidently hit her baby with a toy then when I walk past the Lady she bump me and told the manager a white lady with glasses I bump her and she didnt feel safe. Most of the game machines dont work n they was even out of soda.

Somewhat hard to find (behind the JCP) and signage is not super noticeable unless you know what to look for. We decided to go with some family to spend a couple hours letting all the kids run around. The staff wasn't overly friendly, aside from one woman who was very sweet and welcoming. Alot of the jump houses, etc are damaged and need some TLC. Not the cleanest of places.

I recently had my sons 6th birthday here. I was very pleased. The manager onduty was very helpful. There was a problem where my party got booked at the wrong location but she did everything she could and got my party setup and transferred to the correct location. Everyone here was very nice. Place like usual is clean and ok. But, Very sad to say that was very disappointed on the fact that parents can't assist kids on bouncers anymore. They can only assist on 2 toddler bouncers. Other big bouncers No. No one told us about this change on rules, only after we paid and an employer said so. Had my 2 year old crying cause she loved getting on the big ones with mommy, but not alone. So ended up not using bouncers. Employer said they were the only ones now who can asisst the kids on bouncers. But have you thought that not all kids like to be with a total stranger or maybe that as a parent we don't feel comfortable having a total stranger helping our kids on this specific task. Maybe it will be only us, but at least we won't be coming back.

Unless your kid has no control over themselves and likes pushing other people and ripping things apart, do not come here! Both of my children (boys ages five and two) are mild-mannered and were absolutely afraid to go near any of the bounce houses. When attempting to assist my children I was very rudely yelled at by one of the " referees" to get out that I am too big. I had only been there for three minutes, I was unable to use any of the amenities, and was very rudely told that I could not have a refund by the manager on duty. To top it off, I feel as though we all need a serious bath after being in the building. $23 to be yelled at and to get dirty… Good job Monkey Joe's

Bathrooms were dirty, many games didn't work, parents aren't allowed to help children on inflatables, they've covered up with tape the "adult supervision/assistance" required warnings given by manufacturers. Not enough workers during the day, we ha to wait long periods for help. We likely won't go back.
