Love it! I love that they have more staff on the floor then mega play. Food is better. My kids loved it! Definitely going back. There’s lots of bounce houses and an arcade area. Seating are for parents is tables near the bounce houses. Very friendly staff

Great for kids 7-8 and younger. I mean it accommodates kids a little older but they tend to get bored much quicker than the younger kids. The staff usually make sure that the kids take turns going down and its not a free for all which is a great thing. We had a birthday party there as well and it went really well. The staff looked after us wonderfully. I believe they serve papa johns pizza also...

They were so strict about everything. When i saw the old man talking to my kids i asked him what was wrong and he said they were told 4 times not to jump over the slide and that they would have to leave if they were not going to listen.Then he was telling my kids" keep going!" on an obstacle one even tho there was no other kids inside so i asked him "why?"he says "i don't want other kids to fall on them or get hurt if it gets to full." so i said " i understand but there was no kids behind them or inside at all!" His answer "well thats not how that works!"don't go if hes there.your kids won't enjoy it as much.

Great prices for kid fun, the manager was so friendly, my son got hurt on one of the slide due to being a 5 year old, while I was playing with my 2 year old in the toddler area and she came to me explaining that my son got hurt, the fact that she knew I was his mom made me love this place ten times more because we were just another $ sign walking in, in the first place. Oh and their pizza is off the chain! So yummy! Will return again and again!

The place was smaller then I thought and was like a low budget Chuck E Cheese. It was expensive for what they offered. 50% of the games were down and when we ordered pizza we had to wait 30 plus minutes because they had to get it from another place. My husband had a pretzel and after they microwaved the pretzel it became hard and had the consistancy of a hot dog bun.

We went here with my 10 yr old step daughter and my 6 month old. the location and the bounce houses looked cool enough. I did not like that they charge $5 for any children under 2 to play. My 6 month old can't even stand up yet but she liked the foam area, which some of them are a little torn. I was disappointed that adults can't play with the kids, which was something I was looking forward to. We went to MegaPlay and were able to run around with the children which was nice. We did not purchase food so I can't comment on that, but entrance prices are reasonable for the kids.

My 7yr old daughter had a great time here! There's a separate area for little ones to play away from the bigger kids. Staff are present watching the kids on the inflatables when parents are not. There should be a "no running" in the building rule enforced. I saw two kids get knocked down by other kids running around playing tag or something. We'd go back again though.

My kids had a great time here however there was a woman who I'm going to assume is the owner that continually followed my husband around to tell him that he was playing too rough with our daughter in the bouncy house. I was in the bouncy house the entire time and not once did I feel he was being too rough. My daughter wasn't crying she was having a blast. The second time it happened an employee there reassured us that they have been there for less than a year and do not like how controlling they are and that they didn't understand why she told us he was being too rough when she was right there watching the entire time and didn't agree. I might go back there one more time but if I get the same kind of treatment than I know to take my business elsewhere

I am dissapointed with this place. Most of the staff are rude and don't do their job. The place is dirty and so are the foam objects in the toddler area as well as all the bouncy houses. They also don't have their weekend pricing posted anywhere but charge you more on the weekends. The few arcade games they have are so expensive to play. Almost $2 or more for each game to play. The bathrooms are always dirty. Not to mention the food they serve here. I won't be back.

If you're looking for a similar, but much better experience keep driving and head to Megaplay in Spring Lake. You won't regret it. Monkey Joes is severely limited and seems to be poorly maintained. There are very few inflatables and there are restrictions on each one that stops certain age groups from getting on, which makes it very hard to let small toddlers play, because that doesnt allow their parents nor older siblings to help them enjoy and become comfortable. I have come here twice within 6 years and feel as if I could have found a much better way to spend the time and money each time. Not a bad place, but not fulfilling at all.

If I could give it a zero I would. DISGUSTING establishment! There is a section for young children full of soft play mats that is just dirty, ripped and torn. I lifted one and underneath was just TRASH, coins and lots of other choking hazards. There are also 2 arcade type games which is so silly considering you pay to get in and now I have today for my child to play a dumb game? There are exposed cords, wires and plugs all around that area which is just incredibly ridiculous considering every ones knows how attractive that is to a young child. I was constantly ahead of my son picking up trash, eaten candy, moving him away from the plugs with wires hanging out. I left after about 10 minutes. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. DON'T GO! They need to shut down ASAP! I can't even understand why a parent would take their kids there after 1 visit.

Very disappointed with our visit to Monkey Joe's Westwood today. My son is 3 almost 4, but big for his age, however he is not the most coordinated child and this was only his second trip to MJ. My husband and I watched two employees tossing a ball back and forth with one another instead of watching the children, while this was going on my 3 year old son was being shoved, jumped over and otherwise bullied by several other children! When we brought this to the managers attention she started making excuses about how the employees were new and that it wouldn't happen again, her "solution" was a free icee drink. Luckily my son didn't get hurt! It will be a LONG time before we return to this location, IF we decide to give it another try. We were considering having his birthday party at MJ, but now that's not going to happen! I will gladly move his party to one of the other kid friendly venues in town before giving more of my money to this location and risking the well being of my son.

Laura is absolutely correct this place is a nightmare on a Saturday. We went May 21st, 2011 as soon as it opened at ten. Not before long the place was swarmed with kids. I have a two year old and a four year old. If your bringing any kids three and younger you need to watch out for the older kids who will trample them through some of the inflatable’s. First they make you sign a waiver as if you’re experimenting with open heart surgery. The place has a lounge area for adults, and a wide screen TV for them to watch. Employees are posted at each inflatable to make the inflatable’s don’t have too many kids on them at once. Many parents assume that they can just surf the web on their phones or watch TV while their kids run around screaming and trampling over each other. The employees are no match for all the children with no parents near them. On each ride it says only adults are allowed on them to help toddlers and that an adult needs to be present with each child. Many of the older kids 8+ tower over my two and four year old. Most of them climb up the slides over other kids, if one falls they all will fall since many will be on the steep incline stairs at once, if this happens the littlest child could be easily crushed. Many of the kids run wide open throughout the whole place crashing into other kids around corners. Definitely should be a no running sign posted. They have only one inflatable with a huge sign posted saying "for children three and younger" this was completely ignored and not enforced by the employees. One girl got into it and she was freaking HUGE she had to be at least 12 and 140+ more than an adult and she scared all the children out of it because she almost brought the whole blow up down from jumping. We had to tell one of the employees and they ran over to tell her she had to get off, her parents (whom were at the lounge area socializing and not watching their kids) were clearly upset. One parent was too big to hardly get on and off the inflatable and just about knock my son over jumping off the slide so she could get to her phone that was ringing. Bad place for small kids, if you don’t watch kids at all like Jessica on Facebook and Grandpa Dennis taking a nap at the lounge with the "regular folks" then this is the place for you.

Must sign waiver before entering so they know this place can be dangerous & they don't want to be responsible for children being hurt. Kids play ROUGH here & parents don't pay attention. Also, no dress code. A man had his pants belted around his thighs which then exposed his entire buttocks covered only by underwear. They are "underwear"...not "outerwear". My 5 yr old should not have to see this. It's NOT fashion. What if I went there only wearing my bra & panties? Would someone have an issue w/that?

Three electrical outlets were uncovered in the toddler area, and the door guy didn't seem to care all that much, though the second associate we talked to went to check it out. A child vomited on the floor, and the associate who went to clean it up left bottles of cleaning chemicals in the middle of the TODDLER/BABY area completely unattended for a good five minutes because she forgot bags. My two year old brother and another child went to play with it, luckily we were able to react in time. On top of all this, the bathrooms were smelly and the trashcans completely full. The air conditioning must've been broken, because it was probably hotter in the building than it was outside. The place had good toys though and if it were more comfortable, cleaner, and safer, we would definitely be frequent visitors. Our toddler enjoyed it despite all of this!

This place is pretty cool for kids of all ages. It's clean, but don't expect the employees to be very welcoming. This place is CRAZY on weekends, so if you don't plan on going at opening, on a weekday, then don't go. Parents take their kids here and let them run wide, without supervision, which then leads to younger children getting trampled. Honestly, if the employees would actually do their job and enforce rules, it wouldn't be a bad place to go.

Nice outing for children, although children age 2 and under seems to not be interested in the jumping things. They like the cars and video games more. I wouldn't pay full price until you know they are ok to get on the jumping things. Just a tidbit of advice.

I was looking forward to booking my daughters birthday party here. I just called and the girl who answered the phone was rude. She knew nothing about the party packages and all of her answers were "I don't know." When I asked if there was anyone there who could help me or a manager she said "no, nobody is here." This is at 12pm Saturday. I'll find somewhere else to have my daughter's party.

What a fun place for kids! You just turn them loose and let them play, and it's all about physical activity. I had never been, but we brought our grandkids there (with their parents) at Christmas time, and wow! They were having a great time. My only complaint? The grownups aren't allowed to play on the equipment with their kids. The place was clean, the staff was, for the most part, enthusiastic and helpful, and really seemed to enjoy watching the kids play and helping them if necessary. You'd have to really love spending time with young children to work here! I will be suggesting this spot for birthday parties for my grandchildren!

Was having a okay time until racist Roy approached us about chips that was being fed to our toddler (not even 3). He totally bypassed a lady who was eating cheetos. He claims that she bought them them there but clearly there isn't any chips behind the counter. When pointed to another lady who was feeding her children Veggie Chips he stated that he wasn't going to say anything to them because "she had little kids" let it be known that we was the only people of color and the other ladies were white. Avoid at all cost. Totally appalled at the treatment at this establishment.

Disappointment is a understatement. I had my daughter‘s seventh birthday party here this past weekend and it was despicable. The host for the party was poorly trained over worked and very stressed out. From the looks of it she was fairly new. Everything was going good until it was time for the food to come out, this is the same food that I ordered two weeks prior to my party. There was not enough pizza to feed my kids at the party. She told me that the manager said just give my party what they had and she was going to get more pizza. I had kids at my party yelling and screaming that they were hungry wondering where their Pizza was. While the other half of my party with eating. I asked the girl how long would it take for the rest of the kids to get food and she told me as soon as the manager gets back with the pizza they would be able to eat. The children did not get their food until 30 minutes before the party was over we only had two hours to do everything which nothing was done that was supposed to be done in that time frame. we were is not even able to open my daughters gifts. we were rushed out of our room and wind up still paying over $300. When I spoke to the manager about how disappointed I was with Service and the food and the poor time management she was not listening to anything that I was saying she was over talking me telling me that she would just take off the pizzas which came up to $39 being taken off my total bill.This place is not only a rip-off it is not clean and the food that they supposed to have is through another company that they have to pickup Shows very poor planning . They are not clean either. None of the food was hot or fresh my kids barely got the ice cream that I paid for and every body in that store is poorly trained. The only thing the store did right was take my money! This establishment was dirty and had a horrible smell. Never again will I even drive by let alone have another party at that place I don’t care if it’s a monkey Joe’s in another country they will never receive any of my business ever again!

My 19 month old daughter and went there today. First thing i noticed is the girl at the door looked under the influence on some kind of narcotic, her eyes were super low. She was very nice though. There were older kids in the toddler area including the toddler bounce house. I had to exit the bounce house, the older kids got too wild. Random kids were asking me to pay for their games or trying to force their way into my arcade game. The bounce house was very worn and under inflated. Other than that, the food is reasonable, and my daughter had a ball. I'll return because she had fun.

this place is an absolute JOKE! we went there today, and ROY is such an awful person. He was EXTREMELY rude to all of us and watching our 4 year olds like a hawk basically finding things to nit pick at them for- mind you there was not a single person in there but us. He got very rude and is a liar. This location will go down. he should not be running a “kid friendly” business. This was our first time there, and it will be our last. He made my friend cry because of how extremely rude he was to her, and we didn’t even have our children there for 30 minutes before we were so disgusted at his attitude, we had to leave. If i were you, i would not waste your time or money on this business. very unprofessional and VERY rude. My friend went into one of the floats to HELP her child get up onto the slide, and Roy made the biggest effort to come over there and demand that she get out because she was not aloud in there, and he stated that if her child couldn’t get up there he needed to go play on something else, so she got out and said she understood and his remark was “APPARENTLY NOT.” that’s all i have to say right now. a corporate call has been made, and hopefully will be dealt with.

Great place for kids to get there energy out while having a very reasonable price, with a courteous staff. I would recommend Monkeys Joe's. My only concern is that some of the machines did not operate, thankfully the staff was quick to help.

My husband and I decided to try and find something to do on a rainy Saturday for our child around the age of two and thought this would be a fun place to take him to run out some energy. After reading the reviews on here I had a concern about my son's safety but figured since there was only a couple of bad reviews, that the owner had replied to, everything would be fine. We got there and a nice young lady opened the door and greeted us kindly, the front desk staff was nice as well, we got our wrist bands and took our son to the 3 and under part of the place and my son was terrified and I was appalled(because I had read pervious reviews before going) there were children over the age of 4 in the 3 and under bounce house(which if you are looking you can find the sign for 3 and unDer facing towards the front of the building instead of the entrance to the bounce house) . They were jumping, rolling and pulling down on all of the inflatable animals inside of the bounce house and to a two year old that is scary. Looking around there were a few people who worked there but they were all busy doing something else. I wouldn't bring a child under 5 here.

On behalf of the workers here . The manager sunny gets mad when u want to take a break to eat she expects us to know each others schedule n break times without any written system . We get breaks at the owners discretion . When we close we arent allowed more than 10-15 minutes to clean both the womens and mens bathroom . So image how clean it actually is . The inside of the jumps are not cleans at all if u wet a paper towel and wipe One with it it will be black . The owner roy and manager are married so roy lets her run crazy and talk and verbally abuse employees as she wishes . She fussed at me for not looking happy enough to be standing and watching kids . But told me i look crazy when i tried to look happier. Today i got fired because .i asked to go on my break and she said no because another employee hadnt taken theres and theyd been there since 1( it was about 6:30pm) she said he didnt wanna take his break but now he did . I said ok and went back to watching the jump i was on . She then took me into her office and asked if i wanted to work i said yes she said i didnt care about anyone but myself and im lazy . I told her i wanted to take my break to eat and sit down she told me if i didnt eat before i came in that was a me problem. She continues to ramble about how someone hadn’t taken their break yet i told her i dont know anyone else schedule but mine . She jumped out of her chair and stepped toward me . N said tht i didn’t have to she asked if i wanted to quit i told her no so she told me tht she dont want me to work there anymore and to not come tomorrow. My mom came in after i left to talk to her about it and sunny talked over her the whole time n wouldnt let her talk at all . Meanwhile after three months of working for biweekly pay none of my checks where over 100 I dont get paid enough to be mentally abused, sunny is just bipolar and mean! She never gave me a chance, she keeps all of the workers stressed out by being nit picky! Bottom line dont let your kid work here they will be miserable like everyone else!

1) It's dirty. I went shortly after they opened specifically so it wouldn't be as dirty from other kids playing and littering. But there was already trash and even half eaten candy on the floor and in the bouncy house. They obviously do not clean well. There were practically no kids when I got there so the trash had to be from the previous day(s). 2) It's broken or old and gross. The play equipment here is all pretty weathered. I have a toddler. The area he played in had large padded shapes which would have been nice except that most of them are torn. There were some wooden activity cubes with the beaded wires (like what many doctor offices have). They looked like they had been left out in the rain, they were so old and grimy. 3) An arcade machine in the toddler area. I took my son here to play in an active manner with other kids his age. There is a car/motorcycle game small enough for toddlers that distracts them from playing with each other in a constructive way. They all wanted to use the light flashing machine instead. This is counterproductive to getting a kid out of the house and away from electronics so they can socialize with others their age. 4) Not a good selection of food. I can understand the 'no outside food or drink' policy. But my son doesn't have enough teeth to chew things like pizza, hot dogs, and candy. Even if he did I wouldn't be in a rush to give him that kind of stuff anyway. I'm not a total health nut but it would be nice if they had better options like applesauce or baby food pouches that are easy for a toddler to eat in a play place setting. 5) Employees? There was one obvious employee at the front desk. She was nice enough but I'm not really sure if the man hanging out around her was an employee or her boyfriend. The woman rang up the purchase and did all the monetary stuff but then she had the man put on my wrist band and my son's ankle band. He was nice enough too, he just acted like he wasn't supposed to be there and wasn't dressed like an employee. I felt like the woman was having him do stuff occasionally to make it look like he was there to work when he was really just hanging out with his girlfriend. 6) If you read this far in the review, then I would like to suggest an awesome alternative to Monkey Joe's. There is a place called MegaPlay in Spring Lake. It is worth the trip. It's new, has low prices, is clean, and has a much larger and uniformed staff. The play equipment there is fantastic and varied. There are no arcade machines which is great. There are a couple of slow-moving merry-go-rounds which are also great. They do a Military discount as well.

My son and nephew's always have a great time bouncing around at Monkey Joe's. It's affordable and a safe place for the kids to get out energy. There concession prices are a bit high.

For sure not coming back. Came for a birthday party with my two kids and when I went to leave they refused to let us out because the party host didn’t put wrist bands on my husband and I. I had to step to the side while the manager and employees played the blame game on each other but still refused to let me leave after waiting so long. Ended up having to just grab my kids and push by. DISGUSTING

This is a great place to bring the kiddos to wear them out. Plenty of things to do there to keep them occupied. Very spacious; room for the kids to run around. My only issue was faulty arcade games. There were two water machine games that didn’t work well enough to play for points. One of the claw machines was completely out of order. Another arcade game I think was shorting? The arrow landed on 15 tickets as our prize, but then only loaded 4 tickets on our play card. The food is decent for a “snack bar.” I also believe the prizes might be over valued for how many tickets they want in exchange for those little toys. The games they have to play do not yield enough tickets to be able to collect any decent prizes. But that’s from the parent perspective. My kiddos still had a blast cause they’re young enough to not realize the game were basically broken.

My 2 year old always has a blast here. The employees enforce the age groups so there aren't older kids trampling over your child in the toddler area. It's always clean when we go and you can see employees walking around with rags wiping everything down. However, the the toys where the chalkboards are could use a good cleaning. The man who runs Monkey Joe's is very nice and cared about our feedback when we went. We will be returning!

I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the place. Saw employees clean down individual jump stations with wipes and dust them. The restrooms were clean and every table was wiped. My child had a great time and it's easy to see all stations at once, so great if you have multiple children. I came on a weekday morning so it was nice that hardly anyone was there.

Very disappointed. It’s 6pm on a Saturday which means the place is packed. Kids are everywhere and the attendants that are standing at the blow up castles aren’t even monitoring them but talking with the coworkers. We will not be coming back! Horrible customer service.

My child is 8months and the 3 and under section is awesome. Plenty of stuff to crawl on and he loves the lights and sounds from the games and carousel. I watch my child so I never feel like he is being over run by bigger kids and you can't beat this place for the price or location.

I had my daughter's birthday party there this month and was horrible. The hostess spent most of her time out front talking to coworkers instead of hosting the party. I had to find the hostess to start the party and to serve. She did not interact with the kids. She brought the ice cream well after the cake was served. She had a horrible attitude. She also brought the gift bags 5 min before the end of the party so several kids didn't get it. The place smelled horrible when we first walked in. I definitely did not get the service that I played too much for.

Great for kids but not great if you’re trying to get your child to try something new on their own. We couldn’t help my son when he was stuck on the inflatables and show him how to do it because adults were not allowed on. He got frustrated and eventually gave up. We might try again later if he makes a friend.

My husband and I took our daughter here (20 months old) around 3:00 on a thursday and we had a blast. It wasn't a zoo and our daughter was able to burn off ALL her steam. I also lost my phone during our time spent here and an employee returned it to me right away...which he could have easily stolen or sold it. We will be back! although, based on the other reviews we will stick to weekdays since our child is so young and apparently it gets crazy lol

Monkey Joe's is a great place to watch children and grandchildren play. Our four grandchildren love it (age 1-8). It's not a daycare center, and I can see where people who expect dozens of kids to play together and none of them get bumped or pushed are going to be disappointed. For regular folks like us, it is a wonderful place to watch kids enjoy themselves and learn to make friends with others! It's great exercise for them and they sure sleep hard when they get home.

Terrible we had a gift card for 25 dollars and we wished we would have sold it. The staff were to busy talking to each other then to do there job. The children were rude. The prices were outrageous and over priced for a little bit of food. They had 5 bouncy houses and they had patches were the holes were gigantic. The bouncy houses were out of style and worn out.

Zero stars should be a rating! Parents please don’t let your children work here and please for the safety of your young children don’t take them here! First off this is not just a disgruntled employee or parent of an employee review! My child was a employee, this was her first job. Being so I tried to teach my child the proper way to communicate with her employer. From the beginning she did not know what was expected of her. I tried to let her figure things out on her own because it’s a part of growing up. After repeatedly hear the comments the manager was saying to my child I had to step in. As a manager it is their job to run a happy atmosphere, every time I go up there the workers look scared to breathe. The manager greets you aggressively at the door... if you don’t like dealing with people this is not the business for you. They are nit picky to the point that my child didn’t know what to do or how to act because every time she made a move to do something she was in trouble. The manager always felt that my daughter didn’t want to work so I felt like she was a target from the beginning! When told to clean the bathrooms she was in trouble for taking to long to clean because it should only take 10-15 mins to clean both bathrooms (my daughter is a meticulous cleaner). They would forget to let her take a break so she would ask and apparently asking meant that you didn’t want to work there so last night they let her go! They have no system for breaks so someone worked over 6 hours yesterday without a break! Lastly I don’t think they clean the bouncy houses as my daughter was always sick.

Pros: Staff member at every station. Staff were gentle but firm in making kids follow the rules. Cons: We went on a Saturday afternoon. It was extremely crowded. Bigger children were running over the younger children. There were not as many bouncy houses as I had expected for the price we paid. The bouncy houses were in need of repair. They were torn in many places, some patched with duct tape that was coming off. Bouncy houses also seemed to be lacking air; we've been to other bouncy houses that were much firmer. Bouncy equipment was also much more slippery than others we have been to. Arcade was very minimal and over priced.

Took my grandson to Monkey Joe's today (Tuesday) and it was less than $5.00. Tuesday is toddler day so he can play for as long as he wants at a great price. It's good for those cold or rainy days.

We brought our 15 month here to enjoy a little time in the "toddler" area. Only to find that the employees were not paying attention at all. I understand that parents are supposed to watch their children. But, there is a point where employees should step in when rules are being obviously broken. The toddler area was being used as an area for gymnastics. I saw multiple children being kicked in the face/head by kids who were 10+. Some parents made it impossible for the young children to utilize this area due to the fact they were the ones stacking the items and jumping threw them along with older children. Even to the point of telling children who the area is designed for to move, get out of the way. All of this occurred while employees were watching and then ignoring it. If you have young children this is not somewhere that would be safe for them to play.

Do not waste your time or money. I left this location in tears this morning. The owner, Roy, was incredibly rude to me. I was in one of the bounce houses helping my 4 year old son up the steps to the slide when Roy approached me and very rudely told me to get out and adults aren’t allowed in the bounce house. That’s fine, I wasn’t aware of the rules as it was my first time there. Then he continued to badger me about it to the point that I was in tears. All I wanted to do was help my son up the steps. I am appalled at how we were treated. We were the only ones there at the time. Also, as soon as we got there he was following our kids around watching them, which made me feel very uneasy in the first place. Do NOT give these people your money. Only good thing I have to say is the woman behind the counter was very nice and understanding.

Worse place in Fayetteville to bring a kid that's younger then five. They will charge you for the kid but not allow you to get in the bounce house or the slides with the child. Do you really think a 2 year old wants to do those things by themselves? And there are no refunds! So I literally walked in paid, found out I couldn't do anything and walked out.
