The central feature of Lake Warren State Park is 200 acre Lake George Warren. The lake has two fishing piers and a boat ramp. Fishing in the lake is excellent but my favorite fishing location is downstream of the dam. There is also a community building and three picnic shelters that can be reserved for events. Hiking trails and a playground make this park a great place for a family outing.

TBH, this is my favorite p;lace to go, It's so beautiful and the view is amazing, It's got a park for kids and animal and a big ole lake for fishing.

This place holds a special place in my heart. This was one of the first places my husband took me to way back before we got married and I traveled to South Carolina to visit him. If you enjoy the feeling of peace, tranquility, or being in a place where time seems to stand still, then this is the place for you. There is boating and fishing, trails, and a great playground for little ones, but what I truly love most is the ability to explore in seclusion and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a true treasure!

I grew up here. This has always been my lake. I spent every summer of my childhood fishing these waters. Small, simple and quiet. Rarely is there ever a crowd. Great fishing and great grilling spots. Definitely go if you want "quiet"!

A nice little park. The lake is perfect for a small jon boat, or you can fish from the bank. Several fishing docks/piers, the landings, the bridges, and the riprap dam allow plenty of access for fishing without a boat. There is a HP restriction of less than 10 HP for outboards. However, a trolling motor is really all you need. Although they’re a little shallow, the landings on each end of the lake are paved and more than adequate for small boats. I’ve found the fishing to be hit or miss. The lake is fairly shallow and full of wood. This makes fish tough to locate sometimes. SCDNR has pretty much eradicated all the vegetation in the lake with spraying and grass carp except for right around the bank. There is a good population of bream, crappie, bass, and catfish in the lake. However, you can tear them up one day and strike out the next. Surprisingly the park does not have any camping areas. However, it still makes a good location for a day trip.

Beautiful little park. It has nice walking trails, a playground, picnic shelters, and plenty of areas to fish. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Perfect place for a little hike and picnic.

Beautiful and relaxing park with lots of benches by the water. Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of woodpeckers and cardinals. Nice 1 mile fit trail and short 0.3 hiking trail. Lots of picnic tables, clean facilities, super nice park ranger. This would be the prefect place to kayak. Lots of fishing.

Smaller park but very tranquil with nice short trails. Perfect for families with smaller children that can't do long hikes. Several picnic shelters, restrooms, and a small playground.

Really beautiful day-use area for fishing(including boat rentals!), gatherings, etc. Disappointed that there is no camping, even primitive. Park Ranger very knowledgeable and helpful.
