I give this 4 stars because it's not the best wax museum I have been to..... But overall a nice museum... nice place to admire the details people have payed such detailed attention to in terms of art and replication. Highly recommend doing the bundle of all 3 attractions which included a mirror maze and the zombie outbreak!

Oh my talk about family fun!! This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. This place is really fun and enjoyable. My 17, 15 and 11 year old so enjoyed this place...make sure your phone is charge because I think we took pictures with everyone in there...lol

Meh. I like the museum but after going to Madam Tussauds in London it just doesn't compare. Some of the wax figures were spot on but many of the them don't look anything like their real life selves...at all. Small gift shop at the end but not much in there. Restrooms are very clean and nice.They do have props and clothes to try on next to the statues if that's your thing.

Awesome loved it loved it loved it. We had a lot of fun the work on the figures i still don't understand how it was possible. Very detailed life like with fun props and awesome gift shop. Loved the house of mirrors as well very good time and the kids and is were full of excitement, surprise and laughter. The haunted zombie apocalypse was cool and I am glad the kids decided not to go through they got scared in the beginning of the the entrance video lol.

Man, this was a great surprise. I honestly thought it would be boring but it was an awesome experience. I took so many picks with the props beside the statues. The outbreak was scary. I was screaming and trying to get the heck out of there. My family had an awesome time.

My daughter and her friend wanted to go here, and they really enjoyed themselves. I thought it was okay, but they really enjoyed it, along with the mirror maze and the living dead (I forgot the exact name). They were so scared, they never made it out of the first room! I love how everyone talks big, but when it comes down to it, they were scared to death....priceless!

Loved it. What a great place. Fun props for photos. The wax figures are so detailed. Makes you feel like the could talk to you. Interesting facts about each person or character as well. I highly recommend seeing it, really taking your time at each exhibit. Friendly staff.

I visited your Hollywood was museum in South Carolina. Everything was fun and wonderful until I got to the staff at the end of the tour? The girl who was dealing with the pictures , Saturday 6th , 2019 . When my mom informed her we were not getting pictures, she smiled and gave off a arrogant and rude vibe, she said “OK” with a attitude and when we walked away, I just so happened to look back and she was talking about me and my family to another co-worker. As I walked over to speak with the manager, while the girl was present , the manager did not say or do anything. Everything was fine until we got to the end. I didn’t get a chance to get the girl or manager name. But I hope they can train their staff to be more polite and not talk back to the customers with a rude and disgusting attitude, she does not need to be working at a counter if she’s going To be rude and nasty about how she speaks with people.

Very cool place.had a great time.i live here and its the first time ive been in since it opened in 2014.well worth the wait i guess.most wax figures look like who they are supposed to be.a few are just way off.look and feel more like plastic than wax.my sister and two nephew's from n.y. were just there three weeks ago and it looked fun so me and my wife just had to finally do it.dont forget to use you local id for a discount if you are local.if not its still cool to do anyway.have fun and use the props they offer and take lots of pictures.

Pretty cool for the most part, don't know if the experience is worth the price. They said it can take up to two hours to go through the whole museum but some people were in and out in 20 minutes. Nicole Kidman's wax figure was balding and had a forehead twice the size of the rest of her face

We went to the museum while on our honeymoon. It was a great time during a rainy day. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were able to use a coupon and saved $4.00. We did the mirror maze and Outbreak (half of outbreak it was to much for me, there are exits if you want out.) I would definitely recommend going here. Took about 2 hours for everything.

My nephew and I did the Zombie Outbreak. We had more fun with the other people. He had a great time. It was sufficiently scary but not bad. I wouldn't take kids under 7 in it. It's not for all ages. The cast and characters and employees were friendly and fun.

This place was fun. They’re always changing out wax models for new ones. We go to myrtle every year and my go to this museum maybe every other year. The models are about 95% spot on. Some give you chills are lifelike they are. It’s neat to stand by them and take a picture then sometimes you’re like.. am I getting linked?.. and you have to walk away haha. There’s other sections in the museum you can buy as a package, like a walk through haunted house- kind of like one you saw on Ellen where zombies come out- worth it when they’re fully staffed. And a mirror maze. If you’ve never been it’s worth it. If you’ve done it before not worth doing those other 2 things again. I went through the haunted house with my mom to see her reaction- THAT was worth it hahahaha.

Very well done and clean experience. The pass that includes the 3 attractions at the location is a very good deal. Wax figures are extremely life like (with a few exceptions) and there are some props, however they're a bit wore down from constant use. Would go again.

If you visit this time of year, you will pretty much have the place to yourself. This means you’ll have more time with each figure and props.The parking lot is large and free.We got the package that included tickets for the wax museum, the hall of mirrors and the zombie experience. I don’t remember exactly what the last two are called.The wax part of the trip was really cool. Even if some of the figures didn’t look like the celebrities, it was still a cool setup. After the wax museum we went downstairs to the hall of mirrors. We did not like it at all. If you’re a little claustrophobic or have any type of sensory concerns, that thing is not for you. You start off by going into a spinning tunnel with disorienting lights. That’s not so bad, it’s just a serious optical illusion. Then you get to the mirrors. I’m sure many people enjoy the thrill of trying to escape but boyfriend and I were not down with it. We felt trapped and overwhelmed and ended up backtracking to go back to the start and exit early.After that we wussed out and didn’t even bother with the zombie part after we realized there were live actors in there waiting to scare us.So if you wanna have a good time ‘meeting’ celebrities, def go for the wax museum. If you scare easy, are claustrophobic, or just don’t like optical illusions, pass on the mirror and zombie experiences

Spent close to $50 for Wife and I and it's not worth that cost in any way. Figures weren't very lifelike and it took us a whole 20 minutes to go through the entire Wax Museum. Thr price does not justify the value you are getting. Better off grabbing a helicopter ride or just hitting any of the other attractions nearby. Sorely disappointed and wishing I could get my money back.

I took the whole family here and we had a blast, we drove down 9 of us in 2 cars got a 4 bedroom condo @ocean reef and went to they wax museum among many places well we all loved this place if I can find the photos I will add them. Look on groupon we got a package deal and that made it all that much better, check around for there discounts they have little adds all over myrtle beach for discounts we found them good luck and have fun. Plan on a couple hours a few if you take lots of pictures and a larger group it took is about 3 and a half hours to go thru the whole place...

The all-access pass is only ~$5 more and is completely worth it! For about 30 bucks per person we spent over an hour in the wax museum and prob 15 mins each in the mirror maze and zombie outbreak. The wax museum has most celebrities and some other unique figures. Some were so realistic I thought they'd come to life. The mirror maze was fun, but lacked alternate pathways so you really cant get lost. Plus with strangers in front of you there is little mystery to the path. Still trippy and worthwhile on all-access. My friend was literally around a corner and he looked as though he was down a huge hallway! Zombie outbreak was pretty good. I loved the area that was so dark I almost got turned around. It, too, was a bit linear, which made the large group we were with miss some scares as we single-filed through the place.

I enjoyed our visit to the wax museum. It's amazing how realistic most the celebrities look. Whomever the artist is does such good detail as work. One thing that was not cool, was the props we could use for photos were all disgustingly dirty. Needless to say didn't use the props. Other Than that I say go check it out. Depending your which admission rikwr you choose. Doe adults the price was $25 - $30.

Loved it! I was blown away by how lifelike some of the wax figures were, and I had so much fun playing with the props and interacting with them. Definitely recommend having a full battery on your phone because you will want to take a lot of pictures!

A lot of the wax figures really did not look like the person. The Rock was a pretty good likeness and the Crypt Keeper was spot on and a few others. Each figure included a tidbit about the actor or singer. We paid for the 3 package adventure which included the wax museum, Hannah's mirrors & Outbreak (scary house). We had the most fun in the mirrors and Outbreak did have some scary parts. I would not recommend you children for Outbreak. Overall it is a very good place to visit.

So fun ! The wax museum looked very realistic to the real celebrities! They also include a short little bio of the celeb so if you don’t know the celeb you can learn about them. And this is not just a wax museum, this place also includes two other attractions! One is Hannah’s hall of mirrors which is a maze type of thing. It’s from the movie Happily Never After (kids movie) and the goal is to free princess Hannah. The second attraction is a haunt house. The theme is human experiences go wrong and you are the crew cleaning up the bodies. I wouldn’t recommend this to any youngsters because it’s very very very realistic. Loud noises, bangs smoke and it’s in total and complete darkness. Overall this is a nice exiting place to go with the family and the prices and very good. It’s like 19.99 for the wax museum and 24.99 for all 3 attractions. I recommend this place completely as would love to go again!

It would have been a little scary if I didn't spend the most of it laughing so hard at the people I was with. I went last so I knew they would get all the scary stuff lol. Go to the restroom before entering! Especially if you scare easily. The wax museum was so fun, I would definitely do it again!

Way too pricey ($30 a person) for the short time spent inside, props were dirty and could tell that they had no been cleaned in some time. Carrie Underwood was missing her head, better off removing entire figure for repair. Definitely a one time experience.

Cool excursion. Employees were so nice. They remembered us and watched out for us. It was so cool to see actual body builds and heights of so many famous people. Some were surprisingly short.. Some so big I couldn't fit both hands around their biceps. You could even see their imperfections and wrinkles. I thought this was so cool. Nice place to spend a couple of hours exploring.

This place is a great place to meet the stars. Wax figures that is. From the old and new. I purchased my ticket from Groupon for just the Hollywood Wax Museum and enjoyed myself. The props that are placed at the figures are fun to use. And yes “Elvis was in the building.” I look forward to going back and doing all 3 shows next time. Highlight of my day was The Rock, John Cena. If you collect POPS figures I suggest the gift shop here. They have some great POPS figures.

The Hollywood Wax Museum is a great place to go with kids 5+! You are able to take pictures with wax figures of famous! They also have props that you can use to take fun pictures! Some of the figures freaked me out because they looked so real. They also have a fun mirror maze that anyone can through for a little extra money! Overall it was a great experience!

We went here as a family and purchased the all-access tickets which allowed us to see the wax museum, do the mirror maze, and walk through the Zombie Outbreak exhibit. Honestly, that's the best deal money wise. The Wax Museum was fun and the figures looked realistic. I definitely fan-girled a few times. The kids enjoyed the mirror maze although we we stuck for a bit. Outbreak was fun...a little scary, but overall great experience. I'd definitely recommend this attraction.

The Wax Museum was much more fun than I had expected, they had a lot of props to interact with each wax sculpture and a lot of facts about each person. This post features a picture of myself and one of my favorite artists of all, Carlos Santana. The museum also had a pretty fun mirror maze as well as a haunted house type of walkthrough featuring rabid zombies. Great place for tourists to visit with or without children. Not very expensive either, GO GO GO!!

One of our favorite things to do in myrtle beach! We've visited a couple of times in the last few years and really love it. It's cool! A MUST to visit. Good for kids and adults. Bring your camera because you'll want to take lots of pictures - there are even props at many of the celebrities that you can use while you pose with them. This time we did the extra stuff downstairs - a zombie thing you walk through and a mirror maze. The kids liked those but you're finished with both in literally minutes and to me not worth the extra money.

We had an amazing time here. So many figures if celebrities. The sets included with each celebrity figure were very well done. My children had a good time posing with the figures and using props in the photos. princess Savanah's mirror maze was super fun anymore difficult than I ever imagined it could be. LPT MOVE SLOW in the maze!

We only toured the museum. There are 2 other attractions on site, but they didn't interest us. It was just ok. We had to read the accompanying signs for many of the figures to find out who they were supposed to be. I feel like some figures didn't look anything like the intended celebrity.

Something to do on a trip that's fun for the whole family. Take pictures with your favorite stars then try out the house of mirrors downstairs. They also have a haunted room in the basement it was fun but not very scary once you realize it's just wax zombies and NOT real people last a laser room for extra fun( must be flexible )if you plan on the laser maze. Have fun look for king Kong off of 17.

Zombie attraction was amazing! It's also fun to be able to hang out with the stars. The mirror maze is also a treat. The all 3 attraction price is a good deal for all the entertainment.

Fun place to go. I took my family that came from Puerto Rico and we do not have those kind of places back there so they had a blast. They impressed by the looks of the figure. They had a lot of fun with the props. The house of mirror was fun and it was harder than the one on Ripley"s House of Mirrors. The zombie experience was good but they need to put like flashing lights or something like that, I face planted I wall because it was so dark but other than that it was really fun.

Great experience for myself, my wife, and 2 daughters ages 14 and 16. Did all 3 attractions, and photos. Fair price and last enough for a morning or afternoon. We all loved the attractions, and the staff was great.

Absolutely one of the best things we have ever done. The wax figures were so realistic, a bunch of props to interact with the figures. I highly suggest paying a little extra and doing the zombie outbreak tour, it was really exciting, the whole family, and group that I was with loved it. Well worth the money. Can't say a lot of things are worth the money but this is hand's down. Don't miss it, best thing we have done as a family.

Pleasant surprised. I wouldn't recommend children under 8 going. My kids were freaked out. Enjoyed the mirror maze and even the zombie maze(hubby tricked me). Great place to go, but just not with little little kids.
