Had a great time with a date. We had fun with just the two of us. Don't feel like you need to have a lot of people. Staff is really friendly. Can't wait to go back and try a different scenario!

We are escape room enthusiasts that travel the country trying many different setups. The brilliance behind this room is that there are many puzzles to solve that are tricky, BUT NOT obscure. The puzzles all make sense, everything is in good working order, and it is a dream for the enthusiast and casual puzzle solver alike. Important things I loved: You can pay 5 dollars more per person to have a private room AND it was very doable with 2 people (we completed in 50 minutes and 2 hints.) I highly recommend this room for being unique and well thought out.

Great experience. Friendly staff. Solid puzzles.

Amazing escape room! Challenging yet fun and extremely well designed for escape rooms enthusiasts. On every vacation we search out escape rooms and this one was a great stop, and we plan to go back to do their other room while we are in town. I also greatly appreciate how they handle couples or smaller groups looking to schedule a private room. Absolutely no complaints.

We have done a number of other escape rooms, and the Curiosity Shop was one of our favorites! The owner was super friendly and the room was very well-designed with a great story. There were a lot of puzzles to solve, and it was very kid-friendly. It's a fabulous activity for the whole family! We highly recommend it!

Awesome experience! We did both of the escape rooms this summer (2019) and had a blast. The owner is fabulous, friendly and pays close attention to your activity to determine when, or if, motivation is required. Further, she made us feel like we were her most important customers. The rooms were well constructed and maintained. They were also very well thought-out with plenty of challenges. I am excited to go back when the rooms change this fall. We have done many escape rooms and the Curiosity Shop will now be our favorite spot. Highly recommended!

TL;DR- A fantastic owner, a great location, and some rooms that really show off potential for storytelling and tech integration. All at a price point that won't leave you scratching your head. My wife and I came here to wrap up our anniversary escape room tour and absolutely had a great time. We were immediately welcomed by the owner who struck up conversation about how they just opened recently, what they're working on, and some of the neat little features that they're implementing as part of the Escape Room Passport program that a lot of other New England escape rooms are starting to do recently. Super enjoyable and warm to talk to, like most owners in the escape room community seem to be. The prices are right on par with others in New England at $25 a head, though I did LOVE the option for a little more (+$5\person) to make the room private. That's a feature that not many others offer, and gives great flexibility to people wanting to give these types of games a try in a more private atmosphere, without worrying if you'll be grouped up with strangers in the room. The room itself was really fun. Clues were clear, and flowed into each other nicely. There weren't red herrings typical of big box or amateurish rooms that artificially inflate escape rates for bragging rights, and the non clue props were a nice touch, though a bit misleading in some spots. The production quality was right about what we expected for a newer business fresh into the field. Lower quality printouts and some hard to read handwriting had us scratching our heads in some places, but we escaped the room, and had a blast doing it. Overall this place has so much promise, and if you're in the Wakefield\Naraggansett area looking for a fun activity that isn't tough on the wallet, this place is a super fun tucked away spot to have a great time!

Visited on a Saturday afternoon with my wife and son and his friend. It was our first time in an escape room and we had a great time. The boys keep asking when we can go back. We visited the "Bunker" room and spent a fun hour solving puzzles and trying to piece together the storyline to escape. The staff was friendly and provided clues when we got stuck. Great family activity at a good value. Can't wait to visit the other room, the Science Lab.

We were looking for a fun family activity that would bring us together - especially since our respective schedules have us scattered in different directions. We definitely found this at Curiosity Shop RI. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, challenging clues that forced us to work as a team, perfectly timed hints and really clever storyline/scenario. All 5 of us give it 5 stars. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing time at the Escape Room! It was fun and got my mind working. The owner whom we got to talk to for a while was so nice and she gave clues during the hour if we got stuck. It was relieving and rewarding to finish. My husband and I definitely will go back whenever we are in Rhode Island. I give the Curiosity Shop RI Escape Room 5 stars and highly recommend. If anyone needs a fun family activity or an awesome date night idea it would be the perfect place to visit.
