REVIEWS OF Wings & Waves Waterpark IN Oregon

Lisa Sater

The air temp in the building was 73, the life guards were where long sleeves and some in sweat shirts. The hot tub and kid fort area were closed. I asked about the wave pool temp, they said a heater was broken and it is 76 - 78 degrees. The small pool was chilly too, kids where in the pool with teeth chattering and I saw several little ones with lips turning blue. Even the showers were cold water. We left after an hour we could not handle freezing any longer. Totally not worth the money. Won't be going again, I would rather pay for Great Wolfe Lodge where it is warm.

Kendra Perkins

I never came here for the longest time because of the price but I finally tried it and I tell you, it's totally worth it!!!

James Duffy

Fun little indoor water. It is not huge, but they do have 4 large sides from the jumbo jet on the top of the building. There is a wave pool and hot tub for the non thrill seeking type. Military gets 10% off tickets.

Robert Giles

first time there, had a lot of fun with my family. Purposely went on a weekday from 1:30 to close (6pm). was trying to avoid any big crowds and lines. Just common sense when visiting a place like this. It worked, although the longest wait was for the one slide that didnt take a tube. For some reason the lifeguard was delaying people from going for, at times, up to 10 minutes. not sure what that was about, so had to wait for 45 minutes yet we were only one flight of stairs down from the top. So skipped that slide for a while. The other slides moved along quickly, so we were able to get in multiple runs on each different slide. Spent time in the wave pool, vortex and hot tub. All good. The food was surprisingly good! the super nachos with pulled pork was really good. and for the price we got about double what we were expecting in serving size. There were four of us and we got the onion rings, waffle fries, nachos and super nachos (forgot what they were called). We couldnt finish it all. The closer it got to closing time, the lines were very short (if any line at all). so we huffed our way up the stairs for a few more quick runs, even the slow non-tube slide was quick. (MACH 1). So a good time. The reason for only three stars.... the environment is VERY HUMID and VERY strong chlorine smell. My eyes were burning the whole time there. up the stairs to the slides there is a little bit of relief from the A/C. but it can be uncomfortable. They just need to get some better air flow. When its summer and warm out, how about cracking a window or two to get some fresh air flowing. If that gets taken care of, then this place would be a great alternative to Great Wolfe. Certainly not nearly as expensive!!

This place is great! I think the admission rates are a tad too high, but wouldn't stop me from coming again. Locker rooms are way too small for people changing. Be prepared coming and going. The rides and other pools are fun. The four big slides are fun! I wish the attendants would get people down them quicker. And I think they could be more jovial and happy. Overall the place is cool and fun for an indoor waterpark. Just small. A place like this could be 10 times as big and I'm sure would attract lots of people- especially in the NW! Other- you can come and go as you please, so pack your lunch and eat it at the car (or in grassy areas). The novelty of starting your slide rides in an airplane is awesome! My almost 9 year old could do everything and had a great time!

Traci Hall

Boys had a great time! Only negative was the girl in the thong bikini..come on, this is a family place...mostly kids!! People use judgement!!

Leigh Campbell

Need dry floor in the family changing rooms. Otherwise awesome

Carl Wiles

It's a neat concept with decent execution, however it's showing a decided lack of maintenance. Multiple machines broken down such as swimsuit dryers and water fountains, closed off areas, peeling paint across a vast majority of the interior, lots of visible rusting. The food is mostly your standard fare concession food, but they ran out of almost everything half way through the day on a Saturday. The air is extremely hot and humid, and the chloramine fumes are pretty rough as well. Very little seating available on a busy weekend at all, and the prices are a bit steep for a spectator (10 dollars just to sit while the kids play). With the negatives out of the way: there's quite a decent number of fun things packed into this space, 4+ very large slides that are quite long, a decent sized wave pool, and a well sized soaking / water basketball pool. A quite large children's play and spray area, and various intermittent water features. Tons of lifeguards, plenty of life jackets, and good solid rules to keep the experience clean for most.

Lisa McCracken

What a shame! Just got back from this water park today and the new owners are NOT maintaining it! Rust!! Paint peeling from airducts bandaids in the pools and hot tub. Rides are leaking. Won't be going back if the facility is not maintained.

Margaret Peredetto

Kids had a blast in the water park but be prepared for the chlorine to burn your eyes, nose, throat, and lungs. I didn’t smell anything else for 3 weeks

strongwalker family

Very crowded, people practiacally sitting on each other in pool. Lines for slides were 1 hr long one slide was even longer didn't move for 30 minutes and we were down 3 flights of stairs. My kids had fun so it wasn't horrible. Just need to go dueing off season. Spring break was a horrible idea.

Jordan F

My son and i had a great time. He is 8. We did pretty much everything. Spent around 4hrs at the waterpark. No real issue that came from wings&waves. More so the consumer just being rude a little. That doesn't reflex on the park itself. I recommend going. I grew up pnw. So comparing it to Disneyland and major theme park not fair. My son and i had a great time.

Susan Ternyey

Lots of fun stuff for young kids through teens, lots of life jackets and floatable donuts and 8s, small pool, spa pool, pool with gradual slope from 0-5'. Lots of tables and chairs for onlookers. Family rest rooms as well as mens and women's. Accessible if you have some use if your legs. Expensive, so go when you can stay all day. Showing signs of needing rejuvenated.

William Marsh

Awesome for kids. It can get crowded at the food court, so bring your own lunch. You can go outside, to the park, and eat without having to pay again.

Mason McNeill

Too long of lines, not enough tubes, food costs way too much. The air flow sucks, chlorine was horrible, my eyes are still burning. This is our second trip but I believe it’s our last. Make some improvements people, you are obviously making a ton of money. Lifeguards are great, reactions time to an issue was in seconds.

Wes Wang

The Boeing 74 on top of this place is magnificent. Rides are pretty fast but the wait is wayyy too long

Joshua Cox

This place can only get better if they would lower the price

Adam Emery

I'm mixed on rating wings and waves. The pros:. It's a lot of fun! The four big slides are all great fun! They do a good job organizing everything and if you go on a slower day, you can ride slides nonstop. Or you can just relax in one of the pools and hang out. They also have a great splash zone for little ones with some fun smaller slides. The employees are constantly running drills so are well trained in case of an emergency. The slides and equipment (like the tubes) all seem well maintained. The cons: A lot of the roof paint has peeled. It's expensive to get in. Well worth the money if you go on a slow day, but if you're not going for long or if it's busy, not worth it at all. They also have a LOT of teens working here. Ones that aren't particularly motivated to do their jobs. At the top of the slides they do great rotating life guards that man the slides, but when we went they were more into socializing than actually working. We were there for about 5 hours and I have to say we probably spent an extra (you already wait a lot!) 30-60 min waiting in line because they weren't paying attention and sending people down very timely. It's a shame cause in a place were it's very organized and for a place that relies on things moving like clockwork, it was incredibly frustrating. Especially when all four slides are clear, all the lights are green, and they are just standing together chatting while a hundred people just stand there waiting. Maybe it was just an off day, but that's the biggest reason I only give 3 stars. For the price of admission it should run much more smoothly. And it's great that they have teens working a fun summer job, but waiting hours in line is bad enough, dragging it out is much worse.

Kelly Davis

Had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed the hot tub...

Zakeea S

Took my 5 children with the youngest the children being under the age of 5 (4, 2, &1) and they had things for all my kids to partake in. It was refreshing to go to a place that I spent good money on and all my kids were able to enjoy themselves.

Gordon Wilson

Staff was flexible and friendly, great value for how many hours of fun. All the fun of great wolf (minus wands) except you don't have to pay the $500 a night for room.

Melissa Montello

Disappointed in the cost versus cleanliness. Paying $10 per adult to sit and watch only to find a dozen staff upstairs socializing and not a single table is clean, many napkin dispensers empty, refill boxes left out like they intended to do something but forgot. Too much money goes into this place from our pockets to not have the staff be actually working. Locker rooms are decent, kids had fun but thoroughly frustrated that the staff is standing around and I had to clean my own table before I could sit. They also could use a little better air flow upstairs.

***Poop in water*** We were there today 7/29/19 from 2:47-4:50. There was something that looked like human fecal matter in the wave pool. I reported it to the lifeguard who called someone else, who got some other person. They fished it out with gloves and a fishing net and didn't take any other measures. Then about 30 mins later the life guard in the pool with the whirlpool blew the same whistle pattern. Again someone else arrived and looked at the human fecal matter in the water. He went and got another person who dove to the bottom with goggles and confirmed it was feces. This time they evacuated the whole pool and proceeded to fish more and more fecal matter from the pool and deposit them in red biohazard bags. This place is not hygienic and needs better management.

I Loved This Place! I Usually Hang Out In The Wave Pool Or Go Down The Slides. But Everything Is Fun! Although The Foods Kinda Pricey And The Lines Are Sometimes Long But Its Still Super Fun! Even The Kids Area Is Fun For Teens! I Would Go Again! I Recommend It!

Andrea Troy

Had to wait in line for tubes, and water slides. Kid loved it tho. (8 years old). Staff that ran the slides could have definatly been more pleasent, and they need to get more lockers to store your personal belongings.. I had to wait 45 min. I got lucky, followed a lady up to desk to get the one she had rented. Wave pool and temp of building was on the fritz, so you might wanna call in advance to make sure its all running right.

Mark Tews II

Lines for the larger slides can be long but otherwise good flow through. Do not wear a belt or shorts with pockets if you plan to use slides. Lockers were inexpensive to hold important items.

Megan Lane

It was very cold, slide lines were 40min plus. The girls at the top were waiting till way after the green light to call people forward in line. The water temperature was also very cold, and the only hot tub was extremely crowded. Not pleasant to stand in a line soaking wet with COLD air blowing in your face for 40min to go down an OK slide for less the 40 seconds. Not worth the $29 to get in.

Scott Steele

2 of 4 slides were down at 11:30 am park opens at 11. 1 additional slide finally came up around 12:30. They should have had maintenance staff there 6:30 7 am making sure everything is ready at 11 when the park opens. Our anniversary date day wasted....

Mrs.A'Ro

Great parking The 747 on the top with slides coming out of it really is an eye catcher. They have different age group areas But not much if your a parent with a child under 3 because you cant take them down the slides with you. The hands on non water play area is currently closed because they have plans to remodel or turn into something else. So that was a bummer because I was hoping to be able to entertain the 1 yr old while the rest of the family was in the water. Bathroom area is a little dirty, and it's so humid that the toilet protector sticks to the seats and the water pressure is not enough to pull it down so that leaves you to resorting to picking it off... really gross. The slides that are for kids over 42" take forever to go down. Not enough lifeguarding to handle all the slides and ppl are confused as to where they are suppose to get tubes and using the wrong ones for the slides so they have to go back down and wait in the actual line which is at the end of the slides not the beginning. They really need a life guard standing at the bottom of the stairs if they are going to do that! Surprisingly the wave pool only had 2 life guards watching which was shocking . Alot if people not following directions and life guards blowing there whistles. On the good side of it I think there were some life guards in training because there were groups of 8 to 10 lifeguards looking like they were being trained.. crossing fingers. Gift shop was a little lack luster very few items. But the employee was kind and helpful. I recommend going early or late. We arrived as soon as they opened and by the time we left at 1 it was getting very busy with long lines and crowding in pools. The staff are very helpful ,nice and conversational. We will come back but on a weekday in the am. Oh and u need to bring your own towels.

Micky Stanton

Very fun place, air museum next door is awesome.

Christian Veliquette

The place is a lot of fun have I ever it is definitely a need for some upgrades and maybe some maintenance

Tara Shores

Love it here! Kids had a blast! Definitely recommend!

Chris armstrong

Super fun lots if activities for all ages. You're gonna get wet! Sit in the wave pool and watch a movie or in our case playoff football! All of the 4 big slides were great however, the "Mach 1"(Orange) slide was uncomfortable for me,the seams on the slide are almost painful, not the most enjoyable experience. Food was good and came out pretty quick. Good times!

Benjamin Martens

The Park is excellent, and the staff attentive at keeping things safe. Unfortunately, little if any attention was paid to keeping the women's change room clean on the day we visited, and they kept admitting people when there were no tubes or lockers available by a long shot. Once the afternoon rush settled down, our kids had a blast.

christina gramling

Great fun. Lots for everyone to do. Big slides medium slides and kidee slides. The wave pool was loads of fun and the little kids water playground was pretty cool ... watvh out for the massive water dump! showers were cold though :/

Mayra Fernandez

Fun spot just wish the lines went faster. Definitely go during the week or show up early so you can get a place to sit & get on the slides as much as you can.

Nick Davis

This place is awesome. Can't beat waterslides coming out of a 747!

Scott A. Hibbler

Over rated... Over priced... Over booked with hoodlums running about...

Wendy Davis

Great place to spend the day with kids, etc. We bring a lunch taking a break between swimming and tubing. They have picnic tables outside.

Dirty Frank

We love this place once a Summer. Float in the wave pool, take a ride on the slides.

Jessie Rollstin

So much fun for the entire family. The younger kids water playground was great for even the older kids. The bugs slides all departed from the interior of a 747 airplane. There are 3 Tube slides. The wave pool was a blast as well. They kept the aviation theme well.

Luke Tornblad

Great fun, expect long lines for the slides. Great place to go on a hot day or have a piece of summer in the winter. Enjoyable for both kids and adults

E.L. Lowery

This place is so kooky and fun! Definitely going again!!

Greg Baca

I loved coming here so much that I plan to frequently come here so long as some issues are addressed. I didn't like standing in paint chips and pieces of plaster at a place that bolsters so much fun. Please renovate! Especially that giant chunk missing out of the basketball pool. A person could step on it cut themselves open on their feet and then get a skin infection that could forever change their life. You never know. In all seriousness this place is amazing, never did I think I would ride water slides that came out of an airplane. I hope this review further pushes for a clean up because I want to bring my grandkids here and I'm only 33!

Alfonso Candela

This is near Mcminnville Oregon where three of my 5 grandchildren live. Everytime I go see my grandbabies here we visit this wonderful attraction. All indoors water park with all the amenities. Seem 2 b always busy so we get there when it open & stay till dinner time. We eat lunch in our car then leave when my babies r all tucker out. About 7/8 hours of fun. I know I'm beat. Just grandpa with three of his lovely grandchildren.

Kseniya Pfau

Great place, clean air, near a picnic area, for family holidays or birthday parties. Many swimming places and interesting slides for children and adults. We love this place.

Mike Golczynski

Not enough tubes for the slides. Seemingly no ventilation so it was difficult to breathe. My eyes were irritated the whole time. The lack of variety in the slides led to long lines which feel very claustrophobic when waiting in those enclosed areas. On the plus side, the slides are fun, fast, and exciting. The food was surprisingly good.

Andrea Schafer

Over priced, crowded. Not a lot of things to do but the kids liked it

Krystal Jones

My family and I had a fantastic time! The only thing they could do better is have heat in the slide lines. We were freezing while up in the airplane waiting to get on the slide. I think it's super cool that they do free admission for military and 50% for family members during May. They also had free admission for mom's on mother's day so our trip was super affordable! We will be going again ❤

Tim Sledge

Great slides! Fun times! Safety people everywhere! Super humid and hot inside... lots of stairs!

marvin abrio

Kids really enjoyed it but i wish they monitor the air quality inside. You'll eventually find yourself breathing hard and having watery eyes. Had to go out several times and everytime a family comes out of the building, it never fails to hear someone saying, "oh wow, that's some fresh air. What a relief!"

Dawn Curriston

So glad we didn't pay regular price for this place. Its run down. Paint peeling, mold, and dirty. Needs a serious remodeling, hey it's almost winter, shut it down and fix it before spring. Food at the Milky Way was gross. It's not really a fun place to go. I know of several indoor water parks that are way more worth it than this place. Customer service was ok, not the worst and not the best. I won't come here again until this place gets fixed up and cleaned. Oh and the locker system is horrible.

Travis S

Fun slides and a very cool design to this water park.

Janet Berg

We enjoyed our visit, but the price seemed high for the number of activities. Also because it is relatively small the wait times were really long.

Joy Harris

Our family really enjoyed coming here for a day trip! Truly one of the most unique waterparks we have been to. Love the water slides and our kids really enjoy the wave pool as well. Take your kids here, they will love it too.

Stephen David

Iconic destination for all creatures who like water and vestibular stimulation. The slides are of course the big attraction but the water playground is great for smaller kids. The hot tub and or lounging on the decks can keep parents happy. And the wave pool brings all together in a state of mellow bounciness. Just don't go for the snack bar. And be ok with nicish but public pool-like changing rooms.

Traci Crum

A little over rated but to be fair we live near Splash and Amazon Park so we're used to water parks with wave pools and slides and vortex. The kids did have a lot of fun. We didn't use any of the slides due to never being able to get a hold of a tube but we did go on a busy Saturday. The lines were also ridiculously long. Not sure we'd ever spend the money to go again since we have very similar local options. The Evergreen Museum was much more fun to me.

Curtis Hoffman

Very similar to great wolf lodge, putting this place on my winter list for great activities for cabin fever!

Addison tucker

it was fun but got pretty bored after I road all the slides

Brooke Niderost

It's great for younger kids but in comparison to Great Wolf Lodge.... this one was much smaller and there really isn't much for adults. The water isn't deeper then 5ft and too packed for its size.

Gisselle Nunez-Castro

Just visited today and had a great time! The lines for the slides were short with some even without a line. Wish they offered a bundle for the Aviation Museum and the waterpark

Brent Olsen

Nice indoor water park with heated water. 4 water slides, one wave pool, one hot tub, one wet play structure, one whirlpool and kids pool with two basketball hoops. They serve food and don't like outside food coming in. It was obviously super crowded on a spring break Friday that we went. The part that makes it special is that to enter the slides you enter through an actual retired 1970s 747 which is mounted on the roof. The water park is next to and part of a top notch air museum which contains the spruce goose and a few other gems.

Daniel Aden

Amazing for all ages! Gets busy in the afternoon.

larisa kundilovski

Great facility, friendly staff, even food was tasty. The only thing is too cold water in children's area. My 2 kids were not able to enjoy the park. Wasted money. Spent 2 hours in hot tub. They had a warning that water is 75 degrees in one of the area. Unfortunately it was the area for small kids. Feeling like it was 50 degrees. Water slides are great. Unfortunately I didn't have chance to try all of them. My 7 and 11 years old boys really enjoyed them though. There is store if you in need of swimwear or emergency care. My kids wanted some souvenirs. Unfortunately they have non in this store. Recommended. But check with the facility water temperature.

Grant Hutcheson

They do need to get better ventilation in upper stairways.. Seams a little mildewy.

Rob Ruhr

Fun, but more expensive than I'd like.

Eugene Park

Great place for the whole family, even if parents do not want to swim or go down the slides. You can easily keep an eye on the kids from the restaurants or from the chairs by the pool. Great Wolf Lodge was pretty disappointing after having visited Wings and Waves. They have a couple extra outdoor activities, but the slides don't even compare. The big screen could use an upgrade.

Ginny Samuelson

Fun indoor water park. We unfortunately came at a time the HVAC was having issues so the water and park were very cold, which they gave us a heads up about. I'm sure this is an isolated issue. I will definitely come back. Great activity for the kids.

Zina Bodunov

This place is so fun for kids and adults. The staff was friendly and are intuitive. Food is good. The only thing was that it's a little cold when you're going up the stairs to the slide and where the smalls kids section is. But it was in December that we went

Donna Yates

Great place to bring the kids and family to. Love all the slides. Come early, so you can get a few rides in before the long lines.

Susan L

Unusual venue for a waterpark! Fantastic for a day with the kids. A must-do for water park fans. I've never seen a ride like Vortex before - continuous circular flow in a small pool. Delightful! They don't rent towels, only lockers.

Christine Hanley

This place was cool although I only gave three stars because as soon as we walked in my husband and I both got really severe headaches from the chlorine smell and lack of ventilation, and also pretty expensive, over $100 for a family of 4 and a locker rental. The slides were fun and our family had a good time, but after 30 minutes of being there my husband and I had to leave because the chlorine smell was just too strong. Yes, we know chlorine is good and helps kill all the bad things that us hoomans put into the water, however, the ventilation was so poor it was nauseating.

Amy Steele

Great place for kids all ages. Only disappointment was no age limit on hot tub. I think should either have adults only or add second for adults. Food is ok but price high.

Shannon hankel

Disappointed! Kids perspective, there was water. They would have fun in a puddle of water. Dads perspective, run down and broken. On arrival the restroom toilet out of service (oos) sink oos, all air dryers oos, clothes dryer oos. Walking out of bathroom kiosk display oos. Got to wave pool...guess what....oos. Eventually got it fix later. Walking around every interactive kiosk broken and oos. Ordered food and behind the counter 5 teens not sure if they were bored but surely not friendly (we will call them partially oos) even the little things like the holders for the silverware was so rusted and corroded, no napkins in holders, broken window, paint peeling off the walls and air ducts. Only one person running 4 slides until later in day. This made long and very slow rides. At one point the line was so long and not moving i walked back down the stairs to find them training in front of the slide I was waiting for....got it, it was oos for a short time. Went to go play air hockey with my boys. Guess what? oos. When changing, the bathroom floors were so disgusting with dirt and hair from down there I had my kiddos stand on the bench to change. I talked to Megan, the admissions manager. Drum roll please...customer service oos. She listened and had a quick excuse for everything. Nothing came of it, waste of time talking to her. The experience was so poor we left early. This was my first visit, disappointed! Spending $200 at wings and waves today I guess I expected a little more. On the plus side the pool was full of water. The lifeguards performed very well during their training exercises. Great job!

Eric Tourbin

Veterans were acknowledged during month of May thank you. Long lines but was a nice time with family. We're there for my daughter's birthday. We will return next veterans appreciation month! Food decent too.

Rawnkin

Lots of great attractions packed in a fairly small space. Unfortunately it was super cold inside. Not sure if something was up with the air system or if that's standard, but it was almost too cold in there in April. Otherwise, great park.

Hayley Rodgers

Very fun, a lot of entertainment, can spend a whole day, or take a break and visit the museums next door like we did. My only criticism is that it seems to be a bit more expensive than it should be. Not enough so that we won't go but we do go less often then we would if it was more affordable

Beth L

Kids had a blast. My complaints are the temperature, the chemicals in the air, and the lack of seating. Since I didn't swim, I found it to be sauna-like in capris, a tee-shirt and flip flops. I was unable to find anywhere in the building to escape the heat. I had to escape outside a few times. I don't know if perhaps winter time is more comfortable? Anyway, my eyes are still stinging from the chemicals; we left almost 6 hours ago. I definitely recommend goggles and water socks for anyone who is swimming. A respirator would be fantastic for the responsible adult, but I'm sure that's not allowed.

Rima Wise

It is unique park I like it very much especially for me as a first time visitor. I feel saddened if They close But a lot of notes they need to take take care of it as soon as possible They need a lot of maintenance as black mold started to show off in multiple spots especially in the stair walls lead to all slides Peeling off paints They need to accommodate and add more the double tubes for their visitors. they had a-lot of single ones Placing mats in the storage as it is very slippery In the ladies bathrooms they need to have a cleaner 24 hours there inside instead of waiting outside To unclog the drainage and mob floor as easy using floor squeegee And replace the shampoo storage as they run out fast more than men. of course we had to borrow from men bathroom They used a lot of chlorine in their water as my kids went home sick from it , there eyes and nose red burning from it The huge fan needed to be placed inside the locker rooms to dry the floors

Kalon Mitchell

Neat place, love the water slides in the plane. Bring your own towels... They want $25 for a chincy small one. Food is your normal fast food kitchen, could up their game there. Alot of life guards... Safety seems #1 here. I would go back.

Celeste Allen

Had a blast. My children definitely wants to go again which is a plus.

Nancy Howk

Loved it, kids loved it. No complaints. Great deal!

Natasha Oni

Place is super fun! Lots todo, alot of people also but still fun!

Mike-Amy Siebersma

When we got there at 10:00 it wasn't busy at all. Got to do all the slides really fast. Parking lot was only 1/4 full. If the parking lot is full I'm sure the lines for slides would be super long waits.

Diane Murphree

Too crowded. Not enough tubes for those that use them in the wave pool and those that want to do the slide. Better for older children. Not enough for little kids. And way too many adults. Disgusting locker and changing area. Hot and humid on the inside with no where to sit or put your stuff unless you pay a lot for a tiny locker. People at the counter are nice. The lifeguards have an impossible job. They should limit how many an be in there at a time. We did go on a summer weekend so that could have been the reason for the crowd but it was not interesting enough for me to pay to go on a week day to see if it is less crowded.

Robert Kliewer

Great family experience something for everyone from 1 to 95! I especially liked the Space museum but I enjoy it all. Never an overwhelming crowd this is an out of the way gem in Oregon that’s also reasonably priced! You gotta get off the 5 freeway and drive the :30 minutes to McMinnville to see the 400,000 pound 747 jet they plopped on top of a 5 story building just to cut huge holes in the sides for water slides!!! It’s an engineering marvel!!!

Hugo Vite

Nice place to stay indoors but the lines have long waiting times

Valery C09876tr321am

Super fun! Over prized thought

stan500

Fun place to splish and splash.

Bob Mowad

very cool place with plenty of life guards. We had a blast here. Tons to do and see.

jennifer williams-horner

Great way to spend the afternoon with the family, super clean facility and friendly helpful staff.

Chris Jimenez

Good place for kids but man do they over do it on the chlorine.

Amanda Newcomb

So I went to Wings & Waves on June 20th my birthday and I was a bit disappointed to find out that it cost $30 there's a couple different colors the lock of cost $7.50 now little secret if you look up the Clackamas Aquatic Park you'll find you can get two adults and four children for the price of one admission of adult for this place right here but see at the Clackamas Aquatic Park you may not have to deal with s*** being on the steps or in the pool check it out for yourself

Sherman sims

Nice little water park. We went on a week day and my 5yo loved it. Wave pool was shallow and gentler the typical water park, great for little ones.

Tia Hanson

It is on the smaller side, but we still had a great time and stayed for 4 hours! The slides are fun and I like that the slides are labeled on the stairs up so you know you are getting in the right line and tells you what slide needs a tube and what one doesn't. It is a little cold at the top of the airplane while waiting to go on the slides. The water and building on the main level are warm. The food was fast to come out and good for what it is (amusement park type food). There is an area outside for picnics if you want to bring your own lunch. My only complaint is that the water for the kids play house area was a little cold, colder then the rest of the pools. I am assuming it is because there is a 300 gallon bucket on top that fills up and dumps and it would cost a lot to heat it. We will be back.

Steve Beilstein

It's a ton of fun, especially in the winter. Better for kids, but a nice respite from the winter weather for adults too. It's a little run down but still worth it.

Eric Gordon

Holy smokes is this place awesome!!! My 5 year old daughter and I had the best Daddy-Daughter date EVER! We jumped from ride to ride... go during a slow time to have the best time

Jessica Daggett

The slides were a lot of fun, but prepair for a wait. Hot tub was nice, my nieces had fun on the playground and the wave pool was pretty cool

Loyal Narwhal

This place seems to be really unique. I’ve never been here before but although this place may have some heating problems, this place looks very cool for those who want to be Aerospace Engineers in the future. Especially the Boeing 747-101 on the roof. Here’s my question: How did the owners manage to get the queen of the skies on the roof?

J Crawford

Very nice and fun place for kids. Four large waterslides coming out of a 747 and back down into the indoor water park, an area with smaller slides, bridges, and a big dump bucket, hot tub, wave pool, and pool with whirlpool and basketball hoops. We do this as a day trip or on our way to the beach. Very well staffed. This is a nice alternative to other larger and more expensive options. A recent price change makes this fairly affordable without a Groupon/Portland Half-Off deal, etc.

CJ Dewitt

All slides out of service at opening. By noon 2 were working. By 2pm only 1 wasn't working. Staff is great and we had a blast.

Joe Udo

Wings & Waves is a great waterpark for kids. There are 4 water tube slides. These got busy quickly. They also have a play area for the kids (pictured), a wave pool, and hot tub. We got there at 10 am and it wasn't too busy yet. There were no lines at the slides. By noon, the line to the green ride was 20 minutes long. My tip - go early and do the slides until the it's busy. Then head out. Also, they ran out of tubes when it got really busy. People had to line up to get tubes.

praveen chaudhary

Slides are long and really heart racing first time. Wave pool has smaller waves only, but it is good for kids. Except one pool water was cold. With use of little more warm water in pool this place can be so awesome. Best part is real 747 on top of building.

We visited here yesterday while on vacation in OR. From my point of view, this place is okay. Upon entry my eyes started burning. It's about 85° in there with the humidity and the air is thick with chlorine. After rinsing off and heading back to where we're staying, my skin was peeling. Only it wasn't my skin. That's how much chlorine is in there. Everything after we left tasted like chlorine. Even breathing. It's a lot! And then the pricing. I fell over at $30 per person. The same stuff as our rec center back home ($7) and the pricing just shy of our giant waterpark with less than a fraction of the space. There is a tiny "wave pool" and I'm not sure you can even call it one. These "waves" are more like someone cannonballs in over actual waves. All 5' 3" of me stood in them n At the 5' mark and I didn't jump or get splashed in the face or anything. Wave pools are pretty popular in other states and they are actual waves. Deep, heavy, cresting and crashing waves. Not this tiny pool. There is a splash pad area for small children. This, or similar, can be found at parks along out journey for free and even at Rec Centers for around $7. I wouldn't take my under 42" child here for the price of daily admission. It wasn't special. Where the true uniqueness and magic happens is on the roof where a real actual plane sits. Once you're inside the water park, there are 2 sets of stairs. Each set is for 2 or 3 different slides. When you get to the top of the stairs, you are waiting inside the actual plane body to begin your journey down. That is pretty cool. There's no creativity allowed on how you go down these slides. You face forward on your tube and go. No backwards or laying. They are overly cautious. The one slide that doesn't require a tube was also overly cautious. You can't have a swim shirt on. I thought this was odd. We wore them as we didn't realize this "waterpark" was indoors. Not a big dead but it still caught me off guard and as I've done many, many water slides much more intimidating than this one with board shorts and a rash guard, it just didn't make sense. The lines are long. There is a display talking about the plane and putting it on the roof about halfway up but if you stop to read it, you'll lose your place in line. It wasn't a busy day and we went late in the afternoon during summer. Not many people at all and we still spent about 40min per slide. Again, they wait until the individual is out at the bottom before they start the next person. Something I've not seen at other waterparks. The majority of the slide is a dark tunnel so it isn't fun. It felt like I was an extremely drunk passenger in a car. I imagine if you go on colder days it will be longer. I was told it's much busier after Summer since its indoors. 4 slides, long lines. There is a food area up top over a corner of the area. We went between lunch and dinner so I cannot comment on the food. They do have little plastic cups that you can use to get a drink of water for free which I thought was very nice. There isn't any water fountains so this is the way to do it. It is much cooler up there and you can see the bottom of the blue, green and yellow slides from the top and inside the "wave pool" as well. We went up for the A/C. The locker rooms aren't clean and they were extremely packed when we went. Perhaps that's due to the end of the day. We didn't rent lockers or bring anything in with us so it was just for restroom breaks and rinsing off. Both men and women enter the locker area and then the separate sides for men & women are right next to each other. There's an odd toilet display placed at that entrance. Parking is ample and the lot was free of potholes and cracks. That was nice as we did have a wheelchair. Handicap parking is available and its accessible. But a dry pass is still $10. Basically, we went to check out this airplane business and now we've done it and won't be back. But I think that's the goal all along. Their claim to fame. See the airplane, spend a ton, go home. Done. I only wish they'd consider a half day pass.

Kailee Hibdon

This place is loads of fun whether you are alone, with friends or in a family group. They have different areas to accommodate all ages (so bring your babies too) and all their water slides are a blast to go down! Price is alittle spendy but definately worth it every once in awhile.

Tabetha Hein

This place is pretty awesome! We were slightly bummed that it took an hour to get through the line for just one water slide, so we didn't even try to go on more than one. But the pool, hot tub, wave pool, whirlpool and playground were all major hits with our family!! My girls were also a little bummed when the ice cream machine wouldn't take cards... but overall, a super fun experience, especially with the Groupon savings!!

Melanie R

Man this place is fun want to come back as soon As place as soon as possible it’s completely awesomeness pool is so warm slide is awesome Floats are fun there’s basketball there’s everything You want trust me I am not being false come here have some fun or you can do something else like go to the park play in the local pool but I recommend you try this place you will love it TRUST ME so try it out tomorrow or whenever but whatever you do try it at least once in your life time.

Anonymous Anonymous

The fun factor is actually 5 stars. Slide lines are short and slides are very fun. Wave pool and big open pool are good as well. HOWEVER-- the water at the play structure with the huge bucket that dumps is FREEEEEEEZZZING COLD! No wonder nobody was playing on it.The ambient temperature inside the facility is also VERY cold! Almost unbearable when moving from one part of the facility to the other. And waiting in the slide lines while wet and cold is miserable. If they increased the ambient temperature I'd consider returning. Edited to add: When the staff (front desk and locker room staff) are wearing COATS, you know it's COLD in the facility. Please increase the indoor temp!!! It would make it a perfect, local attraction!

Kirii Ross

It's has a variety of fun for all ages and a great place to have family fun!

Carlos Mendoza

It was fun for the whole family and what was magical was the plane at the top of the roof but when you first get in the humidity is like 101% but after like 5 minutes you adjust to it I went on all the slides my favorite was "nose dive" with it's really steep grade and the big donut shaped bowl is basically a bowl with a hole in the middle and after like 20 seconds you go through to come out the end my only complaint was that there really isnt a deep pool for more older people maybe their was but I didnt see it but most people come for the slides that come from the ceiling you slide down with tubes making it way more faster in my opinion will definitely come back

Adrian Barrera

My first time here!! I had a great time! Kids love it!! Can't wait to come back!

Christina Sechrest

So much fun ! Pack a lunch and some drinks! Food prices are pretty high! But u can go out to your car for a picnic lunch then go back in and finish your day

Sophia The Chik

It is a fun place for family. The slides are not the most exciting but fun enough. There is a nice wave pool. No lazy river. There is a snack bar.

Michelle Shipman

It is so hard to find things to do as a family that both my 3 yr old and my 18 yr old will enjoy. Both boys had a blast!! We enjoyed the wave pool the most. Reasonably priced, espy if you can grab a Groupon.

Spencer McNeill

Not sure what the capacity is for this place, but I'm sure it was far exceeded last weekend. Chlorine in the air was almost unbearable, burning your eyes and lungs. There were so many people that you first had to wait 30 minutes in line for the required tube for the water slide, then wait an additional 30-45 minutes for the water slide. And most of the staff was oblivious to issues easily spotted at any given time. The place has clearly been neglected of routine maintenance and cleaning. You could not pay me the cost of admission (which is quite high) to go again. One star...because I have to.

Tyrel Johnson

The wings and waves waterpark was a lot of fun. The wave pool plays movies on a big screen, many people would just relax in a tube and enjoy it. My children were small and enjoyed the kids area, the water is a little colder over there. We would return to the wave pool to warm back up. I rarely eat food at places like this, but after 6 hours of fun we needed some. The food was really quite good for a concession style kitchen. We will be having more family adventures here.

Michael Beuving

It was crowded the day we went, but it was a lot of fun. We got a discount and for that price it was a really good value. Staff were professional and friendly.

paulina alvaerz

As I write this my eyes squint because of how much the chlorine burned them. WAY too much chlorine added to the water for such a small space with no ventilation system running. It was hot a humid inside and the chlorine was burning my eyes before I even got into the pool. Slides were fun, but this place needs to get a little bigger and better before I come back.

Samantha Hays

Very pricey for the size of the waterpark. It was very loud and you can't hear the person next to you.

Megan Jimenez

Kids loved it, lots of fun. It was packed when we went, 1.5 hour wait for one of the slides. Boo. There wasn't info regarding food on the site, they have a little cafe there and you cannot bring in your own food. I think they should expand, it's clearly popular!

Christy Pettis

Awesome place, no long lines, fun to bring kids too even small babies.

Ashley Heim

It had a great amount of fun activities for all ages, but the big downside was the lack of ventilation. We had to step outside multiple times to stop our eyes from burning from the chemicals in the air.

dawn fox

This was so amazing and i will tell everyone about this place..

Sir Richard B Tuggington III

Top notch slides....much more impressive than they look....caught me by surprise.... capability like a much bigger park in a smaller footprint.

Lisa Craven-Barnard

Very hot for spectators and the chlorine is very hard on the eyes and lungs even for non swimmers. A bit over priced considering you cant bring in food or even drinks and you have to pay to watch. However for those in the water it is a lot to do, something for everyone's taste, and all had a great time. We did not have long wait times though I can see that being a huge impact on reviews considering the price. I would be really disappointed had our group only gotten a few rides and we used a discount. At full price I do not think it is worth it. Chairs are uncomfortable, found 1 outlet (I understand its water but....) bring extra towels or cushions and battery packs for any spectator entertainment!! At the discounted price and at a not busy time it was worth the sacrifice for the good time for the kids though. If I could do 3.5 stars I would.

Cynthia Quinones

Chemicals in the air were so strong at times my eyes teared up and couldnt open LITERALLY, so hot and humid inside, lines for the slides were so long. Not worth the money Honestly.

Panic! At The Disco Fangirl for life

AMazng. I don't really enjoy all the stairs to get up to the slides. But of you are in shape or are just really determined. Great place to go for some fun.

jessica moran

Fun for all ages and interests. Place gets full and bust fast, so come early. Lots of stairs to get to the top of the 4 big slides, but completely worth it.

Andy Byerley

Great fun! Lines are long on the weekends, and I wish the lifeguards at the top would get people set up in the flume while people are going down the slide so it would be more efficient. Overall, my kids had a ton of fun!

Blanca Avila

It's a fun place for the kids, loved the water slides and kids are! Definitely coming back

William McElroy

Grand time as usual!! Some changes with how the lockers operate, but for the better I think

RiledOnUp

It was a great place to be at! I had slide down one of the slides and it was an amazing experience!

Eric Lambert

WARNIG!!! COLD COLD COLD Go to the public pool. Most likely would have been more fun had the children's area been open. However my kids lips were turning purple due to the fact it was freezing cold. The 12×8 ft hot tub had about 40 people in it the entire time we were there. 84 DOLLARS and we would have had more fun in warmer temperatures at the public pool.

nightmare55585

I have loved this place ever since it opened, the wave pool is great family fun, the hot tub is always the perfect temperature, but the last time I went, while going down the green water slide(nose dive) solo during the bowl part it spun me around backwards and I ended up sideways which caused me to flip over and smack my head very hard on the side, not sure yet if I have I concussion but I will update this when I know. Edit: did not have a concussion just hit my head, so I'm changing my 2 stars to 4 because it still is a great place for the whole family.

Julie Manzo

Nice water slides. And different size pools

Dawn Reymond

needs some upkeep. water is causing lots of unsightly rust & stains. still tons of fun but could use some sprucing. There was also a lifeguard that seemed to be paying more attention to another lifeguard (love interest possibly) rather then paying attention to the swimmers... but they're all mostly teens & 20s, I'd guess. But they also quick to respond & handle themselves in a very professional & well trained manner, when the need arises.

Andrew Van Order

Was so much fun! Some of the lines took a while but not to bad.

Tina Canning

Had a 7th birthday party for my grandson, something for everyone

AOK Cafe

So much fun! Lots of huge slides and awesome museum right next to it. There is a little restaurant inside in case your kids get hungry. So much fun for the family. Clean and spacious changing room, definitely set up well for families.

Lee Williams

First time back in 4 years I was very disappointed the place is very run down rust everywhere, paint peeling, broken window, mold in places inside ,mold and moss outside, rubber mats broken and sharp for kids to get hurt on . The new owners are not doing a good job and its only a matter of time before there's a liability claim. I will say all the employees were very curious and helpful

Mr. Monitor

Super fun for kids. Well thought out facility and water slides.

Daniel Rayburn

We found a good price on Groupon always thought it was really expensive but with the discount from Groupon we paid $67.00 for 4 people. It was a lot of fun for the whole family. Really had something to do for all ages. If you don't want to swim you can pay a small fee and enjoy the place. We were also looking for a place to have a BBQ lunch afterwards and found a nice park next to the facility. Picnic tables are limited to maybe a dozen or two.

Kristen Bartosz

It was fun. Bummer that the wave pool was out of order though. I think this would be the perfect place for kids aged elementary to high school. There are two pools, one large wave pool and one smaller pool with basketball hoops and a vortex. There are 4 slides, 3 are inner tube only and one is no intertube only. They are fun but I can imagine how busy they would get in peak months. I would recommend going in the off season if you want to slide a lot. There is a pretty large hot tub. There is a big water play ground area that kids would like with a lot of smaller slides. The water was cold there, though. There is also a little toddler area with tiny slides and little fountains to walk through or play with. There are a lot of tables and chairs around and also lockers available to rent. Small locker was $5

Caleb Thayer

I go to this park at least once a year, and I visited today (August 19, 2019). I've always enjoyed it. The place is relatively clean, the food is nice, and the slides are great (especially on a weekday in winter, when the lines are shorter). It could use a bit of maintenance here and there, but the main attractions at the very least are functional. I would definitely recommend for families.

Shannon Wall

There are many pros and cons to this place. It is a very fun environment that many of all ages and abilities can enjoy. However, it doesn't take a critical eye to see that the place is in a fair amount if disrepair. I can only assume the cost is so high perhaps due to it's lack in traffic tied with the higher costs of running the facility? But higher focus on repairs couldn't hurt. There are usually deals on the tickets on groupon and Portland Perks or something similar. This definitely helps make the trip easier to afford. We always bring our own little snacks and things as my kiddos have allergies but upon viewing their menu I think it is really disproportionately priced and the selection is limited. I really enjoy visiting Wings and Waves and always look forward to the next trip.

Curtis Shane

Super duper loads of fun for the whole family . Get there early so you get your money's worth

Rachael Haney

I had an amazing good time with all the girls that I went with.

Jennifer SHERRIN

Water fun, perfect for teens and kids, adults swim 2.

Scott Barton

This place was a lot of fun for the family. Their slides end in a very shallow pool that the little ones can sit up in which is nice for all ages. The airplane on the roof as a launch platform for the slides is an epic attraction. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The family changing rooms were a little lacking compared to most rec centers but overall an excellent experience. We will go back and would recommend it to anyone.

Raymond Sindell

Cool place for families, but lines for the bug slides got crazy long (over 20 minutes) on a Wednesday morning. Not a whole lot to do for kids under 42 inches tall, which is why they're free.

Ashkan Kordmahaleh

Overall we enjoyed going to this water park however, the changing rooms and lockers are unclean and limited in term of space. So, it was a little uncomfortable But the slides are nice and fun. Also, the deli's food is not good so I suggest bringing your own food or plan on eating some where close by before or after.

Stanislav Synytsia

We visited on Jan 5, 2019, Sat. The Wave pool was too cold. I asked staff as to why it was cold, they replied that both the Wave pool and smaller pool should be 85 degrees. The smaller pool was warm, but wave pool was very cold, as if it wasn't heated at all the WHOLE DAY. We barely used the Wave pool and sat in the smaller one most of the time. Children's playground was too cold too. Usually the Wave pool is colder, I visited several times in the past, but this time, it was insanely cold. The air was not warm enough too. Probably they were trying to save some money by turning off heating. NOT OK.

Teagan Kathleen

It was a really unique experience. It was fun, the music was great, and it was the average level of cleanliness for a public pool. The reason I gave them 5 stars is because of the lifeguards. Unfortunately, my dad slipped and hit his head against the concrete, but the lifeguards were there immediately and got him the medical attention he needed. Thank you.

Ren Martin

I've been here twice. The place seems hygenic and the staff is friendly. Very good place for the family.

Alex Halpert

Four main slides with some long lines at times. Wave pool felt crowded, some maintenance issues. Good time wad had by all. I hope the new ownership will make the right improvements.

Steve Kimmel

Mehhhh... The slides are pretty decent but the staff working the slides are anoying. They could increase throughput of people by 30 to 50% if they would just pay attention and proactively get next person in line qued up and ready to go. Better traing, better efficiency would make it alot more fun.

megamokyle

It was really fun for my kid, but the chlorine small made me really dizzy.

Frauke Sandys

Awesome place. Totally worth the trip. We will be back.
