Here you have the opinions of real people like you who consumed the products and services of Tom McCall Waterfront Park (Park) around Oregon area.
Right now this firm has a score of 4.5 over 5 and that rating was based on 4868 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is basically the best one, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can be pretty sure that the assessment is very reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Park is classified in the category of Park.
Here for OBF. Relaxed atmosphere, nice waterfront area with shade.
Lovely park with a place to walk near the river. We were there to fly kites as Google reviews said this was the place. There were a lot of trees but room to fly between them. The area we were in had a lot of dirt, would be nice if grass was planted there, too. Beautiful views, abundant seating, and easy parking.
Picturesque and pleasant place for a Sunday stroll. Nice to see a city making good use of it's natural resources!
Excellent gathering place for hundreds of different events during the year, from dragon boats to music festivals to rallying points. Tom McCall waterfront park is very versatile!
Went for Rose Festival. Much cleaner than I have seen in the past but very expensive. Also pretty warm today and the vendors were out of water. Need more sitting spaces for older people like me. If I was 20 years younger I would have given it a 4 stars
Great views and lots of open space. Also host a market on weekends.
Aside from the goose poop and numerous homeless population......its a nice park...no offense
Every Thursday night, this gentleman named Daren coordinates and brings help to the less fortunate. Under Burnside bridge, they offer all kinds of services. You must visit and get an eye opener of how fortunate you are.
Sad to see the deteriorating waterfront atmosphere. The homeless and mentally ill are so neglected in Portland and no where is that more obvious than when you are stepping over needles or watching someone use the park as a bathroom. Portland is dying, very sad
Great place to walk around and see the waterfront. So many events held here year round.
Really nice Saturday/Sunday market
Fun place for the day... drink water and eat good food
Nice, hosts a lot of important things such as the pride festival.
Great for a wonderful family trip. Just watch out for the crazy kids on those electric skooters
2019 Waterfront Blues Festival. One of the best times and experiences in Portland.
Wonderful place for a walk with lovely places to stop and great restaurant options along the way.
Gorgeous place to watch the cherry blossoms. The colors during a bright sunny day are amazing and worth the wait. This beautiful spectacle only happens once a year and lasts for two weeks but it's so worth it! Families come here with their kids and walk around or just sit under the shade of a tree and relax. Tourists can also be seen here as well as couples and friends just meeting for a chat. Others come here to run or bike around and be weird. It is lovely and just what Portland is all about.
Riverhuggers swim at 7am daily during summer with kayak support. Super fun.
Magnificent view at night. Dope photo spot.
Weekends are best to go, as the market is on. Lots of local vendors and musicians around. Have wonder over the market, everyone is really friendly and is not trying to push you to buy anything, as I enjoy this very much. Try the elephant ears with cinnamon sugar.
Loved it! Portland Spirit was a great getaway
Always the best time people watching. This is the mermaid parade.
It used to be five stars, but we have to clean up after the homeless.
Tom mccall was an Oregonian politician we can be proud of. Who since? He helped make Portland beautiful. He helped fight global warming before global warming was a thing. This park is a wonderful place to reflect on all the good things a "man" has done.
Cool park, took a 4 person bike rental drifting around town.
Like the river view people running chillen playin, biking and families having fun..its jus stress out specially when you see people having fun
It would be a beautiful place but the city has let the homeless sleep wherever they want so you see bums, yes bums because I have been homeless before but I found a way to stay clean and get a job so I could get out of the situation but these people are filthy and they litter and have no respect for others or the city itself, so they are all over this park and the streets nearby. And the streets smell like piss. It's so sad that this area is like this. It could be so much more.
Beautiful water front and good place to spend some good time !!
Brewfest and Llamas.... Always something fun going on here.
Tom McCall waterfront park is a great place to visit. I was there for the annual Portland Brewers Festival. Lots of shade trees next to the Willamette River.
Nice place to look at the river and see the city. It is especially beautiful at night. It's a relaxing place to walk, ride your bicycle or rent a scooter, or to just sit in the grass and chill. There are often events here. It can be a little dirty at times, as people seem to litter all over.
I don't go there often, and Henry do really hang out at parks. This one's fine I guess.
A must stop when I'm in the Portland area love the location and variety of activities that always go on here most of the year.
Awesome views, Great location, close to lots of eats. But man! That goose poo!
Saturday Market fantastic. There was a booth that sold Crystal Oil Lamps that are beautiful. The Company is Earthlights, never have seen anything like this..
Nice area to relax with a book or walk the pup
It's the best of Portland. You see it all and everyone. From the bourgeois to the pleve. Go mingle and enjoy some sun son pl
Beautiful waterfront views anytime of the year. Always a great place to walk to see the city views.
The waterfront is one of my favorite places in Portland. There is always something fun going on and it's nice to sit outside by the marina have a drink and people watch. I also enjoy the walking paths.
It would have been a great place if it hadn't been for all the homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks around the shops during business hours. I don't have a problem with people's personal choices but when it impedes the sidewalk and your only option is walking against traffic on a busy street to walk around rogue sleeping people Our next vacation won't be bringing us back to Portland.
Sunshine, busy people, happy people, beautiful people, homeless people, lonely people . Everyone enjoying this very beautiful Sunday... Portland is so nice, when its nice. The river flows, and we should all flow together like the river. Wishful thinking im sure of that.. Maybe one day we won't have any other choice other than flowing altogether... Blessed Be.
The blues festival on the water front is amazing.
Beautiful park located in downtown Portland filled with walkers and bicyclists moving along flanked by the Willamette River. Benches overlook the river as visitors enjoy the water and their picnic lunches. The trees along the paths are bright with the red orange leaves of fall. We spent a very relaxing afternoon here and left for Voodoo Donuts after watching people carrying their pink boxes around us.
We included the waterfront on our walking tour of the Pearl District. It was listed as a “must see” part of Portland. The sidewalks in the park and on the way there were dirty. The grassy parts had homeless people all around. The place smelled of urine. I can see how the park could be very nice if cleaned up for an event but on a normal day, I recommend skipping it.
Beautiful park. Lots of places to walk or ride a bike. Grass and benches to sit on and have a picnic so you can enjoy the view.
It's a park. By the waterfront. Where you can...um, walk?
The waterfront is always a nice place, but for people watching during festivals it can't be beat.
Nice view to the willamette river very pleasant promenade to go nice ice cream shop we bike here
Has a very scenic view of Tilicum Crossing and East Portland.
It was clean and chill. Some folks were doing Thai Chi and there were some food trucks nearby. I felt safe.
Always a great place to participate in a demonstration! Was there to support the teachers in an effort to get the state legislation passed for full school funding.
Great place to see homeless people and whackos!
This place has some of the best Springtime views in Portland. Over a two week period the cherry blossoms come into bloom in late March and early April to much fanfare on sunny days. If you want to catch the cherry blossoms corridor then you have to go early in the morning preferably on a gloomy day when there are very few people out. Parking enforcement begins at 8am and ends at 7pm so 7am is a good time to get priceless shots of the cherry blossom corridor.
Great park. I just wish it didn't smell like urine all the time.
Just be careful walking ..goose poop.
Good place to walk or jog during the day. Suggest avoiding at night
This is a great spot in Portland it feels like there is always something going on at this park it's great !!!!
Really nice place to have a beer fest.
Beautiful river, what else? But they shrunk the big float
Loved the dragon boats..especially the one boat that wins alot run by the blind! It was amazing! Beautiful park and quite pleasant to walk the river...
Great views of the city. Good place to go for a morning or evening run. Watch out for needless and human feces in and around the park. Portland is a haven for open drug use, urban camping.
We enjoy walking around here and chasing the geese in the grassy parts. We enjoy walking around and sitting down and playing in the fountain. The fountain can be quite forcefull for my smaller child, but when it is only a couple streams of water, the kids love to play the afternoon away. The bathroom is better than expected or what you will see further either way along the waterfront. It is always clean here because of the businesses in the area and it is where the Sprite docks.
Lovely place in downtown. Its a awesome place to visit during Cherry Blossom season.
Nice place for events but homeless can be a bit overwhelming at times
Beautiful park to walk around and look over the water.
Walked the trails here. Not a lot to see, but it was quiet and a pleasant diversion from a busy day.
Beautiful views of the river. Clean. Well kept. Plenty of activity.
Down here for the brew festival. Nice setup this year, more shady areas.
Beautiful park that runs along the waterfront, beautiful scenery!
I fished with Tom,, years ago. He was a nice man. Oh, the park is ok
So beautiful. Nice place to relax and take in the sights. Beautiful at night if you like to gaze at the city lights.
Visited before the so-called Antifa messed up Portland. Beautiful area, mired only by the innumerable bums sleeping on the street.
Such a nice place to visit. You have a choice of going on a 2 hour sightseeing tour on the boat, or you could just sit and relax and watch people jet ski on the river.
Great waterfront with walk paths for biking, hiking and other activities
Dragon race today. Cool music pleasant weather and happy people. Also, great food to eat.
Went to visit the navy ships...had a great little outing with thw family
A great place to go directly at the corner of SW downtown. We have our weekly run there. I'd give
It's beautiful there's a lot to do and see. Can you can people watch you can go shopping. There are events that happened periodically throughout the year. You can watch boats. You can watch people, all kinds of people, rich people, who are people, people on their phones, people pushing strollers, strollers with babies, and without babies. Some strollers are full of interesting items collected off of the streets of the city and moved from Street to Street what interesting Adventures does strollers have.
This promenade is a perfect scene, walking, biking, skating, this is a great place to do just that. Sitting in the grass on the knoll is sublime in summer. Not sure about doing any of this down here after dark though.
Surprisingly pretty. This area is much nicer than I remember as a kid.
I have always loved the Waterfront park. Festivals happen here, as do fireworks. There is always something going on. Also a great place to have a picnic, take a walk, sleep on a bench. Whatever floats your boat.
At almost 37 Acres big, Tom McCall Waterfront Park has been named one of America’s ten greatest public spaces. It has helped beautify downtown Portland and sits along the Willamette River. My family first became acquainted with it on a visit over a decade ago on the Fourth of July. The festivals, food, and fireworks were all just so spectacular! Since then we’ve moved to Tigard and have been to the Park plenty of times: on route to the Portland Saturday Market, to rent bikes from Wheel Fun Rentals, to see the world’s smallest park (Mill Ends Park), to take a Helicopter Tour (Oregon Helicopters), to eat at such fantastic restaurants such as Dar Salaam and Rovente Pizzeria, to walk our dogs, listen to music, etc. We even rode our rented quad-bike over Tilikum Crossing Bridge and saw some fantastic views of the city and then crossed over to the side where OMSI and the USS Blueback Submarine are. A must-visit Park any time of year!!!
We visited here for the Portland Saturday Market and really enjoyed it! They had lots of great food and vendors!
Rose festival just started. It a great place all the time. But right now music, rides and food
Beautiful doesn't even begin to cover it. Yet another gorgeous spot in Portland to enjoy the scenery and the water. Great for a walk along the river, and great places to eat there as well.
Beautiful On the waterfront. Weekends you can go to the Saturday market and listen to live music
Bathroom right across the street be careful though it has posted hours
MY eternal, favorite Governor of all time and proud to have called a friend and fellow Scots Man.
Love this place! Always has fun events happening and has a great walking/biking paths. There are all sorts of things to do here from playing in fountains, walking around Saturday market, renting a bike or just going for a walk. I love Portland!
A great place to walk and run. Also, dog watching is top notch here. Big ones. Old ones. Young ones. Also the Saturday market is in your path so why not check that out too if you happen to be down there on the weekend.
Excellent Blues Festival! Well organized and thought out!
It was boring but I what was owed to e. 75$
This hippie had WAY TO MUCH FUN on this day venture!!!! This is a 5 start place to see a lot of different things! Going to explore this area again for sure and see what else I can find!
Love my Town always be home to me
Good a lot of the time, but the city of Portland has let the whole area go a bit. Once I witnessed a group fight.
Site of the Saturday market. Great venue for the weekly market.
Big, green, clean. Look like families were having a great time in the fountain.
Best way to finish up a beautiful morning at the local farmers market.
Good views. Great place to run or just go sight seeing.
A great waterfront park with year round events. From dragon boat races to the blues festival. Check the calendar because most likely in the summer, something is happening there.
Nice and spacious public area. Lawn is covered with birds' pool. Very poor playground and options for kids. Great for a walk.
Kids, dogs and adults love the fountain that shoots up from the ground. Several places to get a meal, a drink or ice cream. A smattering of little boutiques and many tables that look out over the water. The train passes very near and kids can get a close up view from a railed deck.
I remember a time, and truly not so long ago when you didn't have to walk around the garbage every other step. A time when the air was actually clean and urine didn't overwhelm your walk . What has happened to Portland? It's not remotely close to what it was when I was growing up and even in my 20s and 30s. Tom Mcall would never put up with this horrible neglect of our representitives in
Great concert venue during Rose Festival
I feel there should be more vendors.
The view is awesome! A great place!
It's ok but there are a lot of homeless people wondering around. We took out of town family for a walk and to the Saturday market. They were a bit turned off because of all the randoms. It might be bad but I having been down there many time I have built a bit of a tolerance for them.
Nice view of the river and places to visit in Portland.
Well between the traffic, people, stench of Canadian geese poop everywhere, and the homeless lady using the bushes as a bathroom over by the on ramp to the Hawthorne bridge. I got out of there. Portland has gone down hill so fast, thanks for destroying your city mayor Wheeler.
A great place to spend your evenings. You can rent bikes and ride it on the bridge. Lot of eateries nearby.
October visit and unfortunately, it's not as picturesque in early spring when the cherry blossom trees are in bloom. Also, there were a lot of vagrants and homeless all over that it was not as pleasant and comfortable being approached for help. The view/background is fantastic for picture-taking. I hope the city gov't does something with policing the area.
Nice place to walk along. Lot of events in the area.
A little meet and greet with the 'Corridor Digital' crew. It's refreshing to meet some You Tubers who work hard, can carry on a meaningful conversation with youth and give solid advice to their followers.
Really nice area, It is very busy though.
Very nice view for the 4th of July fireworks show and some shops and restaurants
Good public park along the Willamette. Especially beautiful when the Japanese Cherry blossoms are in flower, but with a nice mix of public walking space, public picnic space & activities. Fountain entertains kids as a splash pad. Boat dock for hired river tours.
I like going there you see all kinds of people and met people
It's okay - depending upon the DAY OF THE WEEK YOU GO THERE. Wintertime brings a lot of homeless - some scary, some not. Weekends brings festivals and so forth. Busy in the summertime and warm days. It's nice enough.
Great place to walk... Even to walk your 4 legged friend. Rent peddle bike for 4 people.. Alot to see
Nice place to read or enjoy a rest.
Had a great time at Saturday market and the water front.
GREAT 2 and half mile walk around the waterfront
Great scenery, awesome Saturday Market. Puts out great events in this park. Love the atmosphere!
went down to see the Saturday market took a walk along the Waterfront nice cool breeze Sunday afternoon's is the best is not too crowded if you walked in the Steel Bridge down to the Hawthorne Bridge it's nice exercise and there's always a Breeze by the water
Portland Waterfront Blues Festival: came here to spend some time with my musically inclined grandson. Heard some unexpectedly good music and had a great time. I recommend wearing earplugs. The loud music can wear.
It's a beautiful spot in PDX and right on the river in the middle of the city
Great place to enjoy the Saturday market..amd all types of holidays and events. This park is like the heart of Portland..great for walking ans jogging. Not that I jog...just sayin...
Great area along the waterfront to explore and enjoy
All the fountains have changed. Same sculptures, but its lost the happiness!! And of course dirty enough I was hesitant on my daughter's being wet by the water. There's enough broken glass there's no going barefoot!!
Great park to walk along clean just no restrooms nearby
Great place to view Navy and Coast guard ships during Rose festival week.
There's always some pay to play festival going on in summer and afterwards the lawns are destroyed. The garbage and homeless are a severe problem as well.
This place is so fun! Love taking the pups here!
Usually pretty well maintained, Great place to go for bridge and river pictures!
The spring time vibes were in the air. Love my city and the people. Tip>Take the max and Park`n Ride.
Stuck in traffic , really sucked weather was hot.
Saturday market is a must visit...open there on Sunday's also....something for everyone!
Would you like someone to put a gun in your back and demand $? If yes, then take a stroll in the evening.
Used to be a clean safe place for the family. Those days are gone.
Saturday Market is the best place for unique, handmade items you can't find anywhere else. Food is great too and there's music / entertainment as you explore. Only open from Spring to Christmas.
Love packing a picnic and laying out on the grass people watching.or watching the boats go by on the water... Relaxing
The Navy and Coast guard ships were in ,thousands of people,we preached the Gospel to the lost and God's Kingdom was glorified.
Just a nice day for a walk along the Willette Rive at the watetfront park
It's very interesting and big, lots of ground to cover on foot, scooters, bikes and skateboards. But it's kinda dirty and you have to avoid the pushy homeless people asking for stuff.
Nice walk, but a lot of geese and geese residue. Pretty view out over the river and right in the downtown, with nice restaurant options along the way. Good for a late afternoon walk.
Have a picnic lunch and enjoy the sunshine.
Love this place! So many memories of playing in the fountain as a kid and going to different fairs and carnivals!
Beautiful relaxing place. Nice for a walk and looking at the waterfront view.
The waterfront is a great place to go and walk your dogs and have an awesome time meeting people and just enjoying the beautiful outdoors
Such a beautiful and relaxing area my wife and I enjoyed walking around. It was a nice view of the city on the other side, the bridges, if you want to get a little out of the main part of the city with all the buildings. Its cool to see Portland from a different angle. I do wish there were some more vendors out by the water, it would attract much more people. I get they have events there, but for all of the people visiting the area, who probably don't know about these events, we're stuck walking for a while. Maybe promote bicyclists to carry people from place to place around the area?
The Saturday market sets up on the North end of this Riverwalk below the Burnside bridge. It offers excellent views of east Portland. There are plenty of places to grab a quick bite just across the street.
Portland's front yard. Events, frisbee, or just hanging out. Busy on weekends. Always good for a stroll.
Saturday Market was worth the drive from Eugene. Everyone should go.
Great little place for a morning walk. Especially before the stores open at 10am.
Beautiful spot with a lot of Portland things going on. The heart and sould of Portland Oregon.
perfect view for the fireworks but get there early. no earlier than that.
Beautiful and good size park, good for kid and dogs friendly. For run or chilling on the grass. I just wish there were more trees, it's always better to have more shadow and benches too in a park :)
A great place to hang out and chill. One of my favorite spots for a picnic.
