Graffiti on the tables. Not really a great view. You can see a few bridges but mostly storage containers and industrial trains. The soccer fields aren’t bad though.
Overlook park has a great northern view of downtown Portland. It looks out over the Fremont bridge and beyond to Portland. Great place to visit at night. It also has a lot of free space and facilities.
Nice views, nice park, and nice views. A little to busy for me. Never know how close or far away I'll be parking.
Amazing view of portland
Beautiful park. Perfect spot for a picnic.
Cool park
Cute place!
Wonderful Park very large clean that's a nice people there lots of friendly dogs
This park has been my favorite since I was a young kid the trees are beautiful the hill is always fun to roll down
Right off the yellow Max line is a beautiful little park. There is a playground for your children and a baseball/softball field
Movies in the park. Not crowded tonight, free family fun for all ages. Great date night as well
Really fun Ultimate Frisbee game at noon on Mondays and Wednesdays. All levels welcome.
nice play structure, and teeter-totter. would have to clean the tables before using but otherwise functional covered meeting area
It’s a fun park to bring kids, pets, or even a date.
Great views
Decent sized park with nice view of the city.
ARC DCS had a great potluck here!
Nice trees, titled field
Nice park overlooking downtown Portland
Well kinda boring not a hole lotta action I didn't see any basketball courts an there wasn't a lot of people visiting the park!! It was peaceful though very relaxing!!
Was a small park but had a nice view. Mostly people playing with their dogs or running. But, we had a nice view of the sunset and city.
What a great place too spend an afternoon.I enjoyed this park it has beautiful trees and a large grassy area. The park was fairly emlty when I was there around 3pm.I would recommend visiting the park if you need some exercise after dinner or a place to bring the family.
Great park but also depends who else is there.
Went here for a nice of Portland but you don't get a really nice few. Beside that it seems to be a nice park (playground, restrooms, shelter, baseball).
Beautiful park!
So very beautiful
Great open space great sun shot spot awesome playground that brings me joy
Nice park.. It's very close to the max trains just to be more mindful of little children
Peaceful today August 27th was a beautiful day 4 Overlook Park
Nice park
Is a nice place to bring the kids and two dogs and a nice place to relax
Would be great if it wasn't so dirty.
Beautiful north Portland park overlooking the rail yard. Nice view of downtown, forest park, and the mighty Fremont bridge. Baseball diamond, swing set, jungle gym, covered picnic area and open air picnic tables as well. Max yellow line stops right in front of the park making it a convenient destination. The best part is the enormous tree in the middle. Not sure what kind of tree but it so so cool!
Dope, my homie who's leaving today took me here and we watched the trains pass and swung on swings. Clean and relaxing.
Super dirty park. So many cigarettes.
Great park to take a break and just relax
We host an annual bbq here. Nice covered area that needs reservation s.
One of the sadest parks in Portland with alot of potential. Nice kids area but plenty of trash from the homeless and about 6 people just sleeping . Views limited here by all the trees cant even see the beautiful view. Get it together pdx
Beautiful view of downtown across the river
Nice park for a baseball game but parking is very limited
An open little park that's great for letting your dog run or catching a view of the train depot and the 405 bridge. There are some play structures for kids but they are pretty minimal. We mostly visit to see the trains.
Pleasant hilly park. Soccer fields, too.
Love this park.
Great family park!
Please overlook this park. There is dog poop everywhere from the ground to the "keep pets on leash" sign. Maybe that's why no one can read that thing.
One of Portland's best parks for a view. Public restrooms, safe location. Watch fireworks from here.
Really nice place for a relaxed walk with your dog with good views of the west side of the city.
Fun park! Great views, super fun old school/new school playground and the shelter is very nice. Lots of space for picnics and a huge field for games. Bathrooms are kinda gross but thats expected.
Good view of Portland! Cute grassy area to let my dog run free!
This is where Kaiser Permanente Interstate offices are located. It is very conveniently accessed by Max rail. Take yellow line /Expo center and get off at stop Overlook Park. There is an ER, Urgent care and various other departments and lab services. Pharmacy is very efficient and fast and friendly service. Use pharmacy entrance between East and West buildings to get direct access to the pharmacy. Vitamins and over the counter meds are few dollars cheaper than store prices. Urgent care here is always crowded and I have not had good experience. ER is way better and more effective. Recommended to call before as many services are on the East building and those with walking difficulties could be challenged. Cafeteria (on the Ground floor) serves quite nice soups and breakfast and lunch items. Reasonably priced and quite tasty food. Nice thing about this cafe is Both healthy and not so healthy food (Like Bbq Ribs) is available. Their baked squash is very good. They close after lunch by 3 or so. (Not sure of exact time)
Nice park with a large playground.
A bigger basketball court would be awesome or even just another basketball hoop.
Nice park, the homeless probably won't hassle you.
Not quite the view I had hoped for and there were some sketchy looking people around.
Overlook park great. However there was a bunch from Walnut Patk Homless shelter smoking meth and pot. Great rid of homless smoking around our chilfren. Our 5 year old do not need see it ....
Talking about a nice park this one has it all clean restrooms plenty of play area for the kids and family to barbecue plus the views r360 are off the hook nice nice park
I took my dog here she had a good time.
A snippet of serenity, Overlook-ing some of the Willamette River valley. Batteries not included. Huh?!?
Very peaceful!! What a great place to just go relax!!
Nice view all around.
calm place to hang out for a afternoon
Great park to bring the family and have a picnic!
Great off leash dog area. It’s unfenced so make sure your dog has good recall.
Nice open park with huge tree in the middle
The park is great but my car. I was there for movies in the park. My car got keyed there...
Its cool
One of the nicest parks we have visited before, very nice view
Very clean and well appointed park.
beautiful park
This park is definitely a place you should visit while coming to Portland. From the pleasant garden & fountain, to the playground, everything here feels great out in the open doors.
I wanted to see what the view was like, as id heard of the park but in 9 years have never been to it. It's a small park (I'm used to pdx parks being more like wooded forests lol) and it views both the city bridges and train yard. Nothing remarkable, but okay. It has picnic benches and restrooms.
Nice place and has bathrooms
A heroin addict threataned to piss on me and I still had a blast
It's pretty peaceful, and sizable.
Amazing park to do and see things like slack lining to kickball.
Love this park
My dog loves this park.
Love this park
Best Park Ever. Dog friendly.
Chill place.
Hard to access parking here
Interesting old Park with a great Overlook and lots of green grass
Nice part to take the kids
Nice view of the city at night
It's a park with kids playground, a small communal covered house, water fountains, baseball field, and plenty of space to run around for dogs and humans.
Big enough space to run the dog around. They have an infield and the scenery is okay
It's open area and special specific areas, like for children, large group picnic covered area, etc
Worked the Blues Fest and the park is comfortable as always. The folk who attended the festival was a mixed crowd most days they were nice and traditional Portland well mannered. Saturday was the hottest and weirdest.
Large park, hilly terrain, large very over industry and train yard. Swings, slide, climbing etc for a normal playground. Parking can be tricky.
Love parks
I used to run across Overlook Park after my piano lesson with Melissa Thornburg at the Overlook house. Miss this lady.
Its below where I work, I have never been there, but you keep thinking I have been.
Another of Portland's great parks. Plenty of picnic tables, great fields, nice views, big stone shelter, playground with swings. I like it a lot.
Would be a great view and nice place if they trimmed trees, picked up garbage and my son and I weren't afraid of being mugged and molested while being first time travelers on the Maxi going to OMSI from delta park!! Portland has a homeless, drug use, epidemic and they need to do something drastic about it! It's pitiful and heart breaking! These people needs serious help!!
One of my favourites, there is an amazin view of Freemont, big area, all kinds of sportsfields
Great park with great views of downtown
What a great place to run and play!
Nice view of The Fremont
Great place
A good view of down town
Very green, clean lawn, very poor playground.
I really enjoyed accompanying my sweetheart to this park and a really nice sunny afternoon. The park was just gorgeous and everyone else present were having a really good day. We really enjoyed our time spent at this park. In fact, this park would be a five star winner had not the unisex bathroom been such a dump. It was absolutely filthy, and I mean really filthy. There was a used pair of underpants and pajama pants littered on the ground, apparently abandoned. To top it off, there is no soap or towels/blow dryer for the sink. Honestly, if you're at this park, please hold it. Because using this bathroom will just ruin your good time.
Good playground
Nice park with a grate view playarea covered tables and parking good spot for a day with the fam
Wonderful venue for outdoor events, chill space
I let my son go at this park so I will always feel a connection to it.
Great park
Excellent
Nice view of downtown
Restrooms r open so it's convenient for me.
Beautiful views. Dog friendly!
Alot of things can be overlooked.
This park for me is perfect, access froom yellow line max train. Very clean resrooms(public) green grass dog friendly
Nice park
It was a great place to sit ... Let the puppies stretch there legs and enjoy the morning
Great park with covered shelter for rent, playground and sports fields.
It's a great park to walk in or jog Thursday!!
It's a nice park to have lunch in an just hang out n enjoy the scenery
Best train yard view+ ! *Don't leave without looking up into the epic tree in the middle of park #BEAUTIFUL
We, a small group of people who are elderly and disabled, and thus have special needs. All needs were accoodated, with multiple options to choose from, we had a lovely ol fashioned fried chicken picnic with games, safe paved walk, accessible bathroom etc. Reminiscent of the good times of our childhoods 50+ years ago, great day.
Our office's go to park for events. Close to downtown, great view, accessible by Max, covered area in case of rain, and playground and sports fields for the kids. Only thing missing is a splash pad.
Beautiful, fun park! For kids, adults and dogs!
Love flying drone there.
Beautiful park and playground for kids and grandchildren!
Great place to take the dogs for an off-leash run around
Great view from only one spot. It's a quiet park with lots of grass.
Awesome view of the city decent playground for the kiddos and a great covered picnic area and if you're a jogger nice path
grass is nice. playground is nice. homeless people are creepy. lots of people there in the summer. no people there in the winter. I like the track.
This place is so amazing, very chill environment, massive hill, hills always make it the best.
I will sleep for the next couple weeks and then get my check pay bills and do the same thing
I like it at night when I’m bored and it’s naughty hr
Nice open fields with room to throw a blanket down. Played frisbee here during the summer. Good views, some ball fields and a playground with public restrooms close by.
Park smelled like fresh cut grass, dog poo, and gasoline. Bathrooms are like middle age prison bathrooms. Parking is limited.
Sat in the grass at the top of a hill in the shade of trees. The views were great and even though it was busy, we had a ton of room to spread out.
Nice view and ramada and kid's stuff. Metal slides are so rare these days
Good times a great views
Lots homeless VERY SAD
Great park. Clean facilities. Plenty for kids to enjoy.
It's a great view up here!
Nice park with playground equipment & large open spaced
Used to live three blocks away from the park
Pretty awesome
Hello there is lots of things that have gone bad there.
Very beautiful here
Great, even if the weather isn't helping, we're having fun
Great for venue's and field events.
Wonderful Park very large clean that's a nice people there lots of friendly dogs
Bathroom actually locks for privacy. Playground for kids and lots of areas to relax!
Great park, good view, but soooooo many wasps!
What an awesome view of Oregon from this perspective Point. Really nice. I recommend it.
Good park
Pretty nice place. Train yard isnt aesthetically appealing otherwise it would be a 5 star. The view of the interstate bridge is nice
Awesome view of the city decent playground for the kiddos and a great covered picnic area and if you're a jogger nice path
One of the places I go to get away
Nice place in a nice neighborhood
Would give 5 stars if there was more than street parking available. Good place for kids and large parties both.
Beautiful, open, for all ages. During the week around noon you can usually watch a game of ultimate Frisbee. Dogs are allowed leash free. Play structure for kids, swings, teeter totter, baseball diamonds. Con: many homeless that can be very distracting ( yelling, fighting, and inappropriate behavior for a park)
Beautiful place with a wonderful viewpoint. Dog friendly place. Many homeless people, but it is not a park problem, but a society and community.
