This Park corresponds to the category of Water park.
Love this place. We have been going here for years. Good for all kid ages. Water slides, wave pool, diving boards, regular pool, and kiddy pool area. They rent out tubes for a low fee. We get there early and get in line for we can have a table to hang out at during the swim lesson. We bring our own snacks, but they have a snack bar to. Bring a water bottle for the session,it gets warm in there. We always go during the week,so it is not crazy busy at all, I assume it is madness on the weekend. The prices are reasonable. For a water park. Only drawback is if your not a resident in the area, the price is higher.
It is really fun and great for the entire family. It is a little pricey though.
Great place for lessons of all kinds.
Awesome place for family fun!
Plenty of different areas to go swim including a diving board, 3 slides, relay racing area, wave pool, and a kids area with a tiny slide. They also have a snack bar up front, rentable floaties and goggles, and a showering area. They also have a rock climbing zone, wierd for a water park I know, but im not gonna judge, its a giant rock climbing wall with 3 difficulties. Lastly, its ALL under a roof so you can have fun even when its raining and cold! 5/5 would do again.
Nice place, lot of fun for kids and adults!
Great place for kids to burn energy.
Nice trails behind the place
Always fun to come to big surf. Great price for families and nice to let the kids burn off lots of energy on rainy days
Family-friendly aquatic center offers affordable fun and swim lessons in addition to party room rentals. Features Oregon’s largest wave pool, a toddler splash zone, diving and lap pools, water slides, and a 29-foot rock wall. Lots of young athletic lifeguards on duty and great seeing instructors.
Fun place as always. Lost a diamond earring, hoping it turns up in a filter eventually. Don't know why the girl was wearing them in the pool other than she forgot to take them out.
Wonderful coffee. Beautiful coffeehouse with style. The new back patio is amazeballs! So many things that make me smile at moonlight!
Great family destination. The water slides were wide open today at 1pm. The staff is always courteous and from an ex lifeguard and swim coach's perspective, they are safe and managing the pool well. The family changing rooms are convenient for large families with small kids. The showers could be better but it's a public pool so expectations are low anyway. The swim lessons are hit or miss depending on which teacher you get. I love the separate lap pool, there's usually room for everyone!
Wave pool, water slides, pizza parties and diving boards. This is a wonderful place to hang out with the family with space and fun for all members in the family except your pets. Kiddie pool in the corner and intertube rentals for a buck.
The Wing&Wave Waterpark in McMinnville I liked better, but the prices here are smaller. So if you cannot afford the W&W location, this one in Clackamas is pretty good.
Very clean, well supervised great pools including a wave pool. I visit 3-4 times a week...hit water soa could be a touch warmer for my likes.
Swimming staff are amazing. Front desk....not so much
Good for kids. They had a blast. It costs a bit once you pay, and eat at the little cafe they have inside. I think our group of 3 adults and 4 kids spent at least $100 between us, probably more. Good slides in the pools, heated water... They could put a fan in the seating area by the pool for the folks not swimming, cause it was hot and chloriney! But it was a good time.
It's expensive for people out of the distric
Really good afternoon with the kids. If you're from out of district like us, the cost is $10 per child for as long as you want. Typically, during summer holidays, the aquatic park is open from 12 - 4 pm. A good option on hot days as the place is air-conditioned. The café / seating area is right by the pool side, so the kids can check in with you if they need to. Another plus is the café itself. $3.50 for a large soft drink, which you can refill as many times as you like. We ordered food from the café: cheese burger and fries, chicken strips with fries. Both meals were $8 each and we're very filling. The chicken strips we're actually two full breadcrumbed chicken breasts. So a huge portion. Good fries. Good service. Would recommend as an afternoon out with the family.
We had alot of fun .The wave pool was great.
You can come swim here in the morning for laps in the deep end. Spacious family rooms
Our grandchild took swim lessons. At first she would not put her face in the water. After 2 weeks of lessons She was able to swim on her back and front and was dunking her own face in the water.
I love the price and the kids love it. Also great for swim lessons
Great place went with my friend and it was fun For All hours we were there
Great place for families and kids.
It was fun. Some of the staff seemed a little confused as to handle larger groups (12 of us). We were asking about the group discount and they looked like we asked to just get in free. There was even a page we had pulled up to show them group rates but it was a lost cause. My kids had a blast though. But them checking the ph every 2 hours was annoying. (We got there at 1... They checked at 2 then at 4) we left at 4. The rock wall was a cute feature. But seems a little out of the ordinary for a swimming pool. Oh... And they charge extra for the lap pool and the floating tubes. And no you can't bring your own. And every time they check the ph you have to turn them in.
I go here for swim team and have gone there ever since I was younger I love it
One of the best Summer water fun place in Happy Valley OR, and especially kids Summer swim lessons are amazing and the training staff are kids friendly in giving swim training. The other side you can enjoy Big surf entertainment for whole family. A small snack cafe available but don’t expect much food just simple snack items.
Very nice facility. Locker area was clean and well maintained. Wave pool and kid's pool got pretty crowded. Young children need to be supervised very closely in the wave pool because waves can get a little overwhelming for little ones that aren't super proficient swimmers. Snack bar was ok - pretty good selection and prices weren't through the roof. Very attentive lifeguards and friendly desk staff.
Staffs and life guards are well trained and friendly. There was an incident on the day i visited with my boys. Elderly man almost passed out. He must be fainted or syncope episode. Staffs responded quick and paramedics came and checkes him. It was pretty impressive.
The pool is a wonderful resource for the local citizens.
Great place to take kids for swim lessons.
Great place to take the kiddos! It’s age appropriate for all ages! There is small play pools for the little ones and a big wave pool with 3 different water slides for the older children. Just make sure to get there early when it opens because it gets really crowded around 2-3pm. There is also a snack bar for when the kids get hungry. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the family locker rooms as well as the bathrooms.
Lots of fun we had a great time
The kids had a great time! The chlorine smell was very strong. Basic room for a birthday party. Staff was great.
The lifeguards are awful they don't pay attention too much of anything and by the end of the day it seems as though their spacing out. Thank God for the stranger that saved the boy from drowning instead of the two lifeguards that were watching and spacing out with only 10 kids left in the pool
A little pricey for 1 adult admission, but my toddler really enjoyed it, so we'll be back.
Awesome place to take your kids or have a blast. Slides, wave pool, 2 kid areas, diving board, lap pool jacuzzi, and more!
Fun option to take the kids for fun and exercise. Lockers available as well as snacks. Slides, swimming area, wave pool, splash pad, and a hot tub area for those over 18.
The only good thing here for an older crowd is the diving board into the deep pool. The slides are mild which is good for kids 3 to 7 but if you are older I would suggest a different option. For the price I would rather drive out of town to entertain an older crowd to be honest. This is a good place to bring younger kids who are afraid to go down water slides to ease them into it.
Our first time coming- all the pools are great except the showers- you can not control the temperature- water is extremely hot. I told one of the guys at the front and he acted as if we lost our minds. As we walked out he and his coworker made fun of us. NEVER COMING BACK.
So much fun with the grandkids and loved the slides
Water was amazing, but got crowded fast and not all slides were open they were on wierd schedules so we didn't get to enjoy everything before kids got tired 3 hrs in otherwise great experience definitely going back.
Preschool swim is a great time to swim or play in the water with your little one without getting run over by older children. M-F 9:00-10:30.
A great place for all ages to play in the water and swim.
I only go for aqua classes. Clean, great customer service. Reasonable prices for seniors.
Great place to take your little one. Preschool hour is so much fun!
I loved this place when I was a kid and now watching my daughter in their swim lesson program, I love it as an adult!
The kids had a blast! When 1st coming in and seeing that the price was $10 each I was a little bit shocked. After going inside and seeing the wave pool and the slides and the water pipes and how much fun my kids had it was definitely worth the money!!! There are also tables and chairs set up for parents which I thought was nice.
I loved the architecture of this building providing separate arenas for different swim activities.
Its was a great experience for me and my family. The water slides are so fun!!
Had so much fun
Kids loved it. Went on a Friday not that busy and we showed up at 1pm. . about 30 bucks for family of 4, the 2 year old was free. The food stand they have was not open at 1 pm and probably should have been by 12. . Ordered food from there and . . . Well what can you say for food made by teens. Oil in the deep fry was not hot enough and food wasn't cooked long enough. . It's ok. Next time I'm going to sneak some food in.
We took are 3 grandchildren, ages 13,8 and 6. They loved the wave pool and said it was awsome.
The kids had a blast
Very crowded on weekends, best time for the children to enjoy the waves. I like the exercise programs they have for seniors. Could use a makeover, me too,lol
This is place is fun but very crowded. The wave pool is hard to enjoy with that many people in there and the chlorine is way too strong. My kids eyes are burning and blood shot. My boys were very excited to ride the red slide that drops you mid air but they only had it running for 30 mins during the whole open swim time we were there. Lines are long for just the 2 other slides they have there. So in my opinion too many people for the space and amount of fun things to do there.
Both of my kids are enjoying swim lessons. The instructors and administrators at this facility are incredible! They work hard to make sure the kids have a positive experience in water while improving their swimming techniques. My kids are amazing, stubborn and wiggly! It is great to find an activity and instructors that allows them to be kids and exert all of their fun energy in such a positive way! Thank you! Especially Jason and Michael, you two get extra thank yous!
This is a great way to wear put your kids! Residents pay reduced rate, but even if you're not one it is still reasonable. Lockers are available, as is a family changing room.
Great swim lessons!!
The pool is ok but the wave pool towards the 7ft area had grim on the sides of the walls.
My kids love it. Great swimming lesson program and wave pool. And for adults it has a lap pool, diving well, and hot tub.
It was so much fun! The slides were long and it was worth it
Kids loved it! Staff behind counter where we payed, as well as staff that sold food less than friendly. There is much friendlier service at Burgerville. Also, a dollar for lockers that are super tiny. This is not Disney land, and we certainly shouldn't be paying like it is.
Fun- got an ear infection though!
We had a blast on May 19th, 2019.....Kidz 10th bday party. Everyone was worn our + hungry lol
This place was very fun and made my day as soon as i walked in. The people at the front spoke in very nice and calm voices. They had slides i loved, wave pools that actually had WAVES not like the other ones. A diving board that made people FLY and dive. I strongly recommend this place to enjoy a nice swim and hace fun with family and friends.
I’m so glad we have places like this nearby! The slides, wave pool and lapse lane are my kids fav! Near clackamas town mall and so much to do in area as well!
My kids love it here.
I had bad experience with this place my son almost died today and the lifeguard did do anything to him till one of people help him .
Love taking aquatic exercise class. Wish they still had a 45 min. Class at 11am.
I had an amazing time. But one thing I don't understand is that everytime I go here I get sick. I went here with my friend once and once we got home we were sick on the couch all night. And when I went here for my birthday party I threw up. And also birthday parties are way over priced for just 1 hour I paid almost $700 and I didn't even have a good time in the party room. The staff also seem like they don't even wanna be there.
This place is nice, have water slides and waves along with hot tub and other swimming pools... But, as the city is growing up so fast, Clackamas Aquatic Park also need to be improved, more slides, water channel, diving into experiences and better food services... Since it is state run, slow and limited improvements are expected. That's why four stars.
The kids had a blast.... The hot tub was very comfortable. The lifeguards are very professional and eager to help. Thanks
You can get a key to locker for $1. Well worth it. I highly recommend to come early this place packs quickly. I saw previous reviews that the water slides were for like little kids - I actually really liked them. There is a lap pool and a very very large Hot tub. 2 kids pools. The wave pool overall is very shallow and waves are very small - mainly for smaller kids. I also got a Cheese burger for 8 bucks - not horrible. They do have full pizza too. They have a cool robot machine that serves ice cream with candy for 5 bucks.
The staff is young...sometimes friendly...are courteous and not always confident...its a fast paced place at times....the food is good and a bit pricey....hard working people with a lot going on.
Took my brother and his family. It had been since we were kid's the last time we had been. Still fun. The only down side is the lap pool is no longer included in the regular fee to swim. We will for sure be back soon.
The waterslides are great. I would never buy food here, but it's a great place to spend an afternoon. I appreciate the locker rooms. Always clean. Lockers feel small when you have a lot of gear. Wave pool is warm. Love the hot tub. I recommend a local coupon if you live outside North Clackamas parks and rec district, like Gladstone. Price jumps for outsiders. Bring ID.
Love itand absolutely great for the kids I am from out of town and found this place what a lifesaver
Awsome place to take the family for a good swim
I had driven by this place many times and finally took the kids. The wave pool was awesome but the amount of people and the pack of seating was a let down. The slides were great but unlike the pool at Mount Scott I could not take my 2 year old down with me so he did not have near as much fun. My wife and daughter loved it. We will be back on a weekday next time.
We forgot towels and they had some they let us use. Always a fun place to visit.
Staff always helpful and aware of whats going on around facilities..great place
Pretty good water park, not too expensive. Not relaxed like Portland Parks & Rec's pools about flotation devices or toys, but there's a wave pool, two slides for big kids/adults (must be 48" tall), some sprayers, and a little kid slide and pool.
I used to be a lifeguard here, and they really take the job seriously. Very safe place for your kids to swim and very fun for adults and older teens. This is a safe and fun environment for everyone, but just watch our that it's not too packed!
This is a fantastic place to have swimming lessons or just have fun!
Busy but good
Fun place to take kids
Pool closes for the entire month of September. Does it really make sense to shut down during one of the few warm months in Oregon? When open, they have strange and inconvenient hours opening and closing in 1- 2 hour intervals. I live in Clackamas county, but my region does not pay an additional tax for supporting the pool. Glad they have the sense not to support a poorly managed facility.
Amazing pools here. Love it that they rent it out to raft and kayak groups.
God so much fun. Gotta try it
Horrible! You have to be 18 or older for the hot tub, have a pass for the regular swimming pool, and the water slides were the most painful things ever. This is because the water slide didnt drop off into the pool but instead the pool went up the water slide at the end and I swear I thought it had split me in half because there was no way to prepare for it and I also got a head full of water. Dont come here if you want to go to the water slides, they are very painful.
Fun place to take your kids
I like the waterslides and this park is a great place to swim
Only one swimming lesson in for my littles, but they enjoyed it and it was well done I thought.
Great Deep water areobics classes. I feel so good after each work out. $7.00 for out of district per class. A bit high cost but well worth the price for my health's sake!
Kids enjoyed themselves. Really loved the tables and chairs for the adults that did not get into the water.
This is a great place to take the kids and have some indoor fun. I took my 2 year old daughter (almost 3) a few weeks ago. We mostly played in the kiddie pool and she was enjoying the slide. At a certain point I looked down in the slide where the stairs are and I saw this little boy turn around and slap my daughter on the head. She was in shock and so was I. I'm not one to parent other kids, but I yelled stop, ran around the slide and grabbed my daughter. I was the only parent staying next to my kid and no one else saw this happen. A lifeguard was passing by, I told him what happened. He did nothing and the little kid ran into the wave pool, no parent in sight. It was almost time for us to go and I decided to leave. My daughter didn't cry and still wanted to play, so it seems I was more affected then her. We left. Anyways I recommend staying close to your young children. I wish the slide was clear so parents could easily see their kids. I will continue to be a helicopter parent during open swim. I do recommend their classes. All of the instructors so far have been great.
The wave pool was so fun! My boyfriend (27) and I (26) had a blast! I was nice being able to go into the whirl pool (big hot tub) that's only for 18+ and the lifeguard are pretty good at enforcing it if they notice young looking people in that tub. The slides are fun and genre don't have that long of lines. You have to rent the floating rings so the pool isn't filled with them which is nice (they are pretty cheap to rent though) Also it's fun in the wave pool cause the waves get big and the stop for like 10 minutes and then start up again so it's not solid waves the whole time!
Kids loved it. Slides and wave pool
Fun and safe place for swimming
so fun we were all having a good time.
Overall we liked it the pools we're warm so that was great. There is a lack of space for seating if your not swimming and I hate the intertubes in the wave pool but I always have a 5yr old that got ran over a few times.
Nice place. Daughter has been doing lessons there for years. Affordable as well.
Good prices. Big pools. Wave pool. Hottub! Lap pool and diving pool!
Such a cool pool!
Awesome place for the family to go and hangout. The slides are awesome. The wavepool is amazing and the lap pool is a great place to practice swimming strokes. The staff are friendly enough and it is a generally fun place.
It was fun but someone stole me and several other people's shoes
Great swim lessons
Great place great price plenty of parking
Nice place to swim but the food shop was slow even with no customers in line
Great time there!
Awesome place to take young children. Splash pad for babies. A tad too busy and lots of misbehaver kids but enough space for my son to play last time.
Clean & happy helpful employees! It's nice for a granny with kids in tow.. Fun for all involved in funtime
Fun little place to go to that wont totally break the wallet. They could deffinately use a upgrading tho and adding more waterslides and bigger ones n such.
Way too crowded!! My kids say its fun so I guess that's all that matters in the end.
We always have a blast.
I come here once in a blue moon and every time I come I see amazing staff and great lifeguards! I can’t wait till next time I’m in town to come again!
Crowded but fun
The wave pool is fun but be prepared to be knocked over if you're not used to it. I am no wimp but I was on my tush a few times with my granddaughter. We had a great time. You can also buy goggles, swimsuits (speedo at reasonable prices), etc here. They don't have tons but if you need a suit or goggles you may be in luck, kids and adults sizes. Also, a party area, vending machines, an ice cream machine, a snack bar they make and sell food from. Right next to Clackamas Community College on Harmony off of 82nd. Super fun, you won't regret it.
Super cool for family or kids. Foods and snacks inside. More for smaller children.
Take classes there regularly for years. Good eggs.
Nice ,clean and reasonable price
Really fun. We had a great time. Water was warm enough and it wasn't too crowded when we went.
They have a nice little grass area with 3 picknik tables outside.
Great place for swimming lessons for the kids. Instructors are patient and fun. Definitely recommend!
Can be very crowded and loud. Good life guards
So much fun, my kids loved the place, and the prices aren't bad either. Definitely will be going back again.
When you pay money you want a good jacuzzi and the jacuzzi there sucks! Not hot enough and the jets just trickle out water there's no power to them!!!
The kids absolutely loved it, and when it is a rainy Saturday, I can't think of a better activity! Open swim hours are very limited, so it can be crowded, but the kids still had fun. Although, in the summer time it is open more often. $9 a person is a reasonable price for the size of this swim park.
Awesome place. Kids love this place
So fun, my kids mention this place as a top event of our summer. Kids age 7 and 9.
Great place to swim and the water slides are fun reasonably priced as well.
Great Deep Water Aerobics Workout! Can't wait for it to re-open after the annual fall pool cleaning and maintenance break.
Fantastic facility, but the hours are pretty limited.
Best part is it is indoor so no sunburn.
The kids loved it and the prices are low. We beat the heat wave! The staff was awesome. Very patient with the little ones!
I just love it there and my kids always enjoy there self.
It was so much fun send well ran. My family and I had a great time. Not ridiculously expensive either.
The life guards only see basic rule violations. Totally unaware if someone gets hit or flips in wave pool
I take my son here for preschool swims, which are great and calmer than when the whole wave pool is open. My school also brings our students here for a P.E. unit once a year. The students (4th-8th grades) love it!
Kids loved it. Great fun.
My kids loved it. I had forgotten my daughter swimsuit and luckily they had extras(they loan out and wash). They also have live vest as well. Staff was very nice. Pools were nice. The only things that bugged me was, the family dressing rooms were very dirty, the kiddie pool was cold, and they made everyone Evacuate the pools and you couldn't hear why. After talking to a staff member they let me know that they do a 10-minute safety check. It would have been nice to know that beforehand. I saw a lot of families leave thinking it was closing.
Water aerobics with Terry this morning! She's so good! Love her classes!
My family and I love this place. Lots of fun for all ages. Family changing rooms.
Great place for kids to enjoy!
Fun water park, accommodating to large grouos. Overpriced Cafe with poor service, ordered a chicken wrap, peanut butter and jelly sandwich and bag of chips and it came up to 19 dollars. Overall a fun place. Check Groupon because they usually have a deal
So fun but I almost threw up because if the water going in my mouth but I guess that's my fault
Aquatic center was fun for mi kids. Wave pool could've been bigger
Over chlorinated, went home to a sick child and myself from how strong the smell was. I could pretty much taste it with how strong the smell was.
Very loud. The place has so much reverb is deafening.
The waves could be bigger, the crowd smaller and the hours could be longer. But, its an indoor public pool with all the normal pool tropes, a wave pool, 3 water slides and a hot tub. It is clean, seemingly well managed and accessible via public transit. We can all criticize things with varying degrees of personal opinion, however, pools like this are meant for kids and this one seems to knock it out of the park for a town pool (some pun intended).
Lots of action for the price of admission. My biggest gripe is that you have to rent (and put down a deposit for) the lockers (you can't just bring your own locks, like you can at Portland P&R pools) and they're not really large enough for me and the kid to store our clothes, towels, and phones. That means I end up paying for two. Even at Tualitin Hills P&R pools with similar lockers, I only have to put down a refundable deposit/photoID for the key(s), not pay a rental fee. All in all, though, it's a minor issue and not enough to keep us away.
If your local you can a discount on the price of entry. They have food and drinks at the concession stand. They have To family Changing rooms that you could choose to use instead of the general population changing areas. They have a small kiddie pool that toddlers can sit in and be safe with an adult nearby. In the kiddie pool they have a little tiny fountain that the kids really enjoy playing with. They 2 diving boards. They have a lap pool and a pool for general swimming. The general swimming pool is pretty cool because There is a timer that Goes off and starts making waves. There are lifeguards located at every single pool. There are 3 different slides that you can use that are pretty fun.
Good ole fun! Hasn't changed much over the years, but still great!
