REVIEWS OF Mt Tabor Park IN Oregon

Katie Hering

Beautiful views. Well maintained area and also clean restrooms.

kelly becker

Great play spaces, views, walks, people. What more could you want from a park in the middle of a city?!?

James Cooper

I love Tabor, been hiking and biking up there, for over 30 years. on and off

Tiffany Eggleston

Very beautiful park! Great view from of the city. Lots of trails to walk, hike, or bike on. Also has lots of grassy area if you want to go for a picnic. Lots of nature and mature trees. A hidden gem.

Lee Nichols

I always love coming here during the summer it's a trip having a volcano in your backyard can't imagine what it would be like if that thing ever erupted...

Logan Vickery

One of my favorite parks in Portland. It's beautiful and wooded and a great place to catch a sunset or sunrise if you know where to go. Probably the best place to ride your bike if you're looking for a good hilly climb with little traffic. I do laps on a loop that starts at the lower reservoir and goes all the way to the top and back. And Wednesday's are car free! Make sure you pack bug spray in the warmer months to ward off mosquitos.

Jojo’s Dogtail

Great park on the edge of inner SE. The views at the top are incredible; you can see Hawthorne Blvd leading toward the west hills, with the Portland skyline in the background. Lots of cool plants up there too, but beware of poison oak! It grows in random spots off the main trails, so make sure you know what it looks like before wandering too far from the path. Cool fact: Mt. Tabor is an old volcano situated in the middle of Portland. It’s beyond dormant, so there’s no reason to worry while hanging out up there. Just admire the views from atop it’s peak!

Kassandra T.

One of my favorite locations to take a walk. You really smell the fresh air.

Lane Sparks

Great place for a short day hike. The reservoirs overlooking downtown are awesome

Ahaqir Ishaq

One of the best sunsets I have ever seen in my life. Definitely visit if you are in Portland

Judi Bezzant

Best place to go running. Conquering the stairs feels great

AD Mbb

Kinda far hike in. Needs more parking.

Paul Szeliga

I’m not sure how the average person feels but I love history and the idea that Portland is built on an extinct volcano. Mt Tabor is it I guess and it was super awesome to climb to the top, check out this shack up there and see the views while circling up and down. There are some reservoirs there too, I’ve never seen any before this

Darline McHarless

Mount Tabor Park is amazing. Good for The Young and the old. Great for family get-togethers or for a solo. You'll dog will love it and it is amazing all year round. I love coming here.

Andre Strobel

Nice escape from the city. Be ready to climb a lot of stairs. And maybe you are as lucky as we were when there was a free concert on top of the hill.

Philip Sevetson

Beautiful and quiet despite many visitors. Good short trails.

Jim Blandy

Mt. Tabor Park is such a treasure. The trees are majestic. The air at the top is cooler than it is down in the city. Once I saw two hawks, hanging stationary in the steady breeze up the west side of the mountain, just chilling out together, and doing what, I swear, looked like the occasional barrel roll.

Jess Wishon

Gorgeous park atop an inactive volcano. Beautiful views of downtown Portland and Mt. Hood. On Wednesdays, it's closed to cars, which is awesome.

Zakaza Chuz

It's fine. Good for exercising or reading

Heidy Morales

I love this place, one of my fav.

Eric McKinnis

This is a great park to walk around. It has some good views of downtown Portland. It's a good place to go relax. Take a blanket and chill. There is tons of stairs for excercise and a place for kids to play as well. I've played some basketball here too.

Austin Wells

Great longboarding spot, kind of rough roads though.

Scott Vessey II

Difficult climb with a bad hip but so worth it on a beautiful day when you get to the top. Had such a great day with the family. What q cool area.

Jeff Casto

First kissed someone I was in love with for years here. I'll never forget it.

Zulthulu

Each encompassing end of the hillside having it's own perks. Child focused side with play grounds, trail heavy side, scenic and with activities like tennis courts, and a great off leash dog park on the south end. I bring my dog here every weekend. Hopefully the upscale middle section of the park will be fenced off eventually (especially with the road right on top), but other than that it's a perfect place to bring your doggos.

Elizabeth Whitlock

We had a great walk!! Saw some ducks and a bunch of dogs! We defeated the steep staircase! What a great veiw!

Thomas Humphrey

Is a volcano completely within the Portland city limits. Stairs to the top, asphalt roads to the bottom. Closed to cars (on my visit). Play grounds. Restrooms. Shade of really big trees. Ancient man made lakes, and a view of down town Portland that is well worth the effort.

T. Farris

Mt. Tabor Park: Smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood was this huge park. We took a great hike up to the summit and saw a wonderful view of City Center Portland. These trials were scenic and not that difficult. I really enjoyed this outing. The kids were able to get up and down there trails and completed. Fun, Fun, Fun.

Janelle Polcyn

This park looks small on maps but is so large once you're walking around. The park splits up so easily so you can be apart from other people without any difficulties.

Tristan Callan

Good place to go for a quick hike and some nice views if the weather is clear. Could use more trail maps. None of the hikes are that long, but the soft trails have some mildly strenuous parts.

James Sherman Jr

I have been coming here off and on for roughly 10 years now. Good places to picnic, a basketball court, and lovely scenery. The park itself deserves 5 stars, but people have made it harder to enjoy. Litter piles up hours after being cleaned, it seems to always be busy and noisy. Overall, I still enjoy going here, but if you visit, clean up after yourself.

Marshal Morgan

This place is so amazing. I get a great workout and amazing views. Love the trails and the stairs and running the reservoirs.

Jana Patterson

Gorgeous park with lots of trails, paved road for bikes, tennis courts and wide open spaces for picnics. The view of the city is amazing. I didn't see nearly all of it so there's a good reason to go back even though I live on the west side!

Josh Hoge

Great place for a picnic. Trails are nice and the views are great. Bathrooms not so much.

Jordan Enright Schulz

It is such a beautiful, peaceful park. My little Chihuahua-terrier mix OJ

Ethan Whitted

A nice park to walk around in, go on a run through, walk pets in, or take kids with to play on the playground. It could use a few more maps and drinking fountains but otherwise a nice place.

All Right

This place is an oasis in SE Portland. It's beautiful to walk though under the tall trees and cool grass. The reservoirs make the area a tad cooler during the summer. It's a great place to walk. PS - Wednesday they close the entire park to motorized traffic so you can walk along the roads and path without worrying about approaching cars.

Rebekah Werner

Beautiful view over Portland... Very much different than Rocky Beaut.... But still amazing...

Eisen Laucik

My favorite place to jog up the 17 or so flights of stairs to the top. Great view of the city and functioning bathrooms up top. Nice place for a picnic or date when the weather permits. Also summer time down on the lower level amphitheater there is free live music check dates and times online.

Jonquil Elise Dreadful

I love walking here when I visit the city! There are a variety of trails so you can adjust your walk to more gentle or more vigorous depending on how much time you want to didn’t or how much exercise you want to achieve. Lots of trees, some beautiful ponds ( water reservoirs) places to sit and be. I’ve walked here in the summer and the winter. Parking is also pretty easy.

Jane Green

SO appreciate having this slice of heaven in our city. Beautiful views. Well maintained, trails both paved and forest options, stairs leading to residential area. Especially quiet on Wednesdays when no cars allowed.

Nathalie Hutchison

This is one of my favorite parks in Portland. It is a nice place to get a good hike in city limits and the top offers spectacular views of the city. There are fun events that take place here too; such as the Adult Soap Box Derby that happens every summer. There are a lot of hiking paths to explore.

Rebecca R

My. Tabor has tons of great places to walk. It’s an especially fun place to watch the sunset. You have a view of the whole city as the sun sets. Mt. Tabor also has playgrounds for your kids to play on and benches. In another part of the park, there are reservoirs. The buildings around them are pretty cool, almost like a castle!

Paul Starkebaum

Great city park. Interesting historical sites and very pretty scenery. It was busy on a Saturday morning. Lots of people walking, dog walking, and running. Nice place for a morning walk. Would not be as interested in picnicking or other activity with a large group since there are so many people. Kid friendly.

Stephen Brackinreed

Great park in the middle of the city. Lots of trails, very quiet place for reading and reflection just secs away from the hustle of the city. True gem.

Scott Likely

Beautiful park with large trees, trails, amazing views from the top, some parking, restrooms, drinking fountains, dog park on South side.

KJ Miller

Always a great place for a day hike. The views of Portland are amazing! Unfortunately, it's not so great if you want quiet/solitude.

Andrew Gingery

It's Peak Park in picturesque Portland, "run wild like the animals"

Jenn Caswell

The park has many great trails and beautiful views of the horizon one Portland. It’s great to catch a sunset here or take a long walk. There is also a great playground for kids. Just be aware, driving the roads thru and around this park can be a little confusing until you’ve done it a few times!

Kevin Barnard

Beautiful scenery, gorgeous massive trees everywhere. A very peaceful place to cycle or walk about.

Jen Loomis

It's great! Lots of viewpoints. Some of Mt Hood and some of downtown. Wonderful for sunset viewing. Some people run, do yoga, meditate, or do tai chi up there. Lots of dogs. A must-see if you visit Portland and have more than a day.

Cally Perry

Easy climb, choose your route and grade.

Kelli Haskins

I like the park...I hate working out, but this park forces you too. So it's a love hate relationship there. As for the play structure and places to walk it's pretty cool. Especially because of the location; to have that in the middle of the city well it's worth checking out. The down side is the fact that the water is to look at and not interact with. I know that particular water isn't the kind of swimming water we're looking for, but it would be nice to have something to put our toes in. Overall great place, but remember it is IN the city so expect it to be busy, especially the play ground.

Surya raj Joshi

Perfect park in East Portland. Miles to hike, bike and relax. Good place for summer picnic.

Kathleen Greenhaw

Gorgeous park, nice atmosphere and great for trail running.

Reesey Campbell

A lovely green place to go out and play with our new camera, with lots of settings to choose from. I don't recommend trying to get mountain pics from the summit though, as the foliage has grown significantly over the years and now mostly blocks the viewpoints. Also on some of the paved trails you venture at your own risk, as many of the local cyclists tear through at alarming speeds and can be quite rude about it.

Byron Linck

Very tranquil with great cityscapes. Great for leisure walks, running/jogging, picnics, you name it. Definitely worth checking out if you're visiting Portland, definitely worth frequenting if you live here.

Nathan Haynes

A 300,000 year old lava cone. Sacred to the four Native tribe's of the area. A wonderful experience.

Franklin Weichelt

Pretty cool place with great views and awesome thigh-burning trails.

Goalie Training

Fun and a great hill to ride down for thrill seekers

Jim T

Beautiful. Great view if city. Nice to sit under tree and read

anna staubly

Great place to take a walk with nice views!

Darin Harrison

Ayyyye. Portland is a good sized city, that magically seems semi forested, and Mt. Tabor park helps that aesthetic a great deal.

PJ Wallace

Love that there is 2 water stations! Not so happy about the mud (dogs loved it though)

Mike Williams

Iconic public park overlooking downtown Portland from the East. Great for dates and family outings.

John McSpiffy

Lots of trails: paved, dirt, and stairs. Mostly car-free so it's quiet. Great view at the top.

Jack Nicholas

I was working so I didn't get to see as much as I would have liked but it was beautiful. Go with time and energy. It's the inside of a volcano crater and you can see lava tubes in the walls.

chris bloom

Great park. Beautiful views.

milly badilly

There are tons of trails to walk/hike on and a beautiful reservoir as well as beautiful views of the city.

Adam Kaplan

Cool little park with awesome views of Portland. It's an extinct volcano!!! There are some trails that allow dogs. Historic reservoirs and pump houses on one side of the hill. There is a tiny visitor center with welcoming staff. Also a playground for kids.

1000ena Venaj

Great place to do exercise and share time with family and friends...

Nathaniel Carter

Fun to drive and walk. Great walk in the mist with gorgeous trees.

j a

It's a beautiful little park. Perfect for a run up a hill.

Charlie Lynn

Best view of the city, while engulfed in nature & tranquility the sunsets are to live for ⛅

C. F.

So beautiful with all the trees. The park has paths so you can really explore and get up into those trees. Smells so fresh!

Jon Scully

Great place to hike or bike (lots of uphill challenges!) Also had a great time watching local fireworks on the 4th of July.

Marty Mcfly

Such a cool place that exists in the middle of the city. It's a giant Hill / Mountain that is a park cover it ended very tall trees with two giant water reservoirs. There's a lot of elevation gain to be had and a lot of people enjoy the challenge of walking or biking all the way up the hill and all the way down, and the view is certainly worth it. This is a great place to watch fireworks the moon stars the city or nothing check it out

izzesplace

Gorgeous park with walking trails and many amenities! Lush foliage! The views of Portland and surrounding areas are magnificent!

Exquisite Erika

So much variety!!! So much beauty. A sacred place, for sure. Tread lightly, respectfully.

Alexander Paykin

Lovely trails, beautiful views, tranquil, dog-friendly, family friendly and even the bathrooms were adequate... Do go on a nice day, you'll enjoy time spent here...

W Gibson

Beautiful place, but it's pretty lousy that google maps says this place is open until midnight, when the gates are locked at 10PM (and the signs indicating this are easy to miss at dusk). And they will NOT check the parking lots first - they will just lock you in, and there's no way out! The misleading hours are a horrible buzzkill. Motorists beware!

Natalie Ackerman

Great little hikes and nice and shady. Perfect for an outdoors escape in the middle of the city.

Jennifer Berlanga

This place is the perfect escape to get some fresh air therapy. A few minutes into a trail, all you hear are birds chirping and the sights around you provide that much needed break. The kid's playground was fantastic as well.

will holland

Quiet park a bit away from city center that offers easy trails to walk on, some nice tennis courts, and a really nice view of the city if you make it to the top of the mountain.

Griffin Malone

Such a lovely park. Lots of trails for running or hiking. Great spot for the sunset in Portland. Paved road for biking and other sports. Tennis courts down below.

K Wa

A beautiful mountain park in the middle of Portland living, offering lots of open and stunning views of downtown Portland. A set of 273ish stairs for getting your exercise in, or tons of paths all over the mountain for walking. Even some trails for mountain biking (easy trails) but in the middle of the city is nice. But a beautiful place to go on a sunny day, with many open areas for throwing down a blanket and enjoying nature.

Sebastian Brown

Mt. Tabor Park is an amazing park, that has everything you could ever want in a park. It has miles upon miles of great trails, extraordinary views, a basketball court, multiple play structures, and even an old race track. I would highly recommend visiting the park.

Kayla Gower

Love coming here. Nice area for hanging out, don't forget the bug spray. Bathrooms are few and far between so plan ahead!

Vincent Rubino

This is a truly stunning and beautiful park situated on a dormant CINDERCONE. There are some nice historic reservoirs here too! The atmosphere is very bucolic and serene. There are many lush fields that are well kept and great for a picnic to watch the sunset

Keith Koenig

Take a stroll. Even better if you have a significant other to go with you.

Miranda

So grateful to have access to a beautiful forest while living in the city. My Tabor is a sanctuary

John Lynch

Hiking trails with many stairways; excellent view of the city.

Sara Segura

Gorgeous. Nice (and popular) spot for doing laps on a bike for hill training. Playgrounds, lots of walking paths and trails. Lots of grass and tall trees, bathrooms and at least one picnic shelter. Parking is a pain, especially on weekends, especially when the weather is really good. Much better to arrive on foot if you can.

richard kalu

Great place for nature enthusiasts. This place is massive with scenic views, hiking and running trails.

Jeremy Gilhousen

Amazing amazing amazing place. Great for a strong hike, or a casual stroll, or a lounge in a hammock.

michael Brown Rctopfueler

There is a volcano top but its not at top. Lots of trails kids playset ..soap box derby too

Jacob Warren

A huge park, great for hiking. The reservoirs have paths for walking/jogging while offering great views of the city. There is also a decent sized, fenced-in dog park for doggos to run and play.

chandni bhowmik

Great city park with lots of trails and beautiful view of the city from several spots. There is also a children's play ground, rest area and drinking water fountain. There are also reservoirs in the park, something to just mention. There are trails with decent amount of elevation if you want to get some work out. Many trails are paved and seen lots of bikers and joggers. There is also a nice dog park for people with pets. My second favorite right now after Forest Park ( it is closer from my place).

ayana hughes

Beautiful park. It has many paths to take and explore. Perfect for getting in a little jog or just for a nice view.

Alina Pariyani

Nice scenery, but nothing special. A short hike up with a view of water reservoirs.

Elyse C

Awesome place for any daytime outdoor activity. Lovely hiking and scenic views.

Great place to catch the sunset while overlooking the city. Good hiking and MTB trails through this urban forest.

One of my ultimate favorite places to enjoy a nice sunset. A lovely place to walk, exercise, picnic, walk ur pooch and fall in love.

Brigid Freeman

Nice urban park. Lots of hikers, runners, families. Got a parking space in the parking lot. Visitor Center closed. Bathrooms functioned. Nice resource if you live close, not worth the parking hassles if you don't.

Richard Wagner Almonte

Is a wonder place to do a lighter hiking and perfect for relax and make a picnic ❤️

Summer Isabella

Lots of trails to go on and lots of lovely clean dogs, and dog people too

mike brown

Love tabor its the only volcano you can sit atop and so many miles of walking trails plus the soap box derby for adults too

Seth Purkerson

Really beautiful spot in Portland to go for a run, I like to do a lap around the reservoir on my way to the top! Also a great place for sledding when Portland gets snow.

Burt Likko

I hike to the top 2-3× a week. It's an awesome view and great exercise. Beautiful scenery, easy to forget you're in the middle of a big city.

Ryan Gonzalez

B -E-A- UTIFUL. Perfect little getaway from the city.

Trista Mountsier

I love Mt Tabor! Tons of space to explore walk, run, hike, bike and skateboard. Also a great place to take your dogs. There's an unleashed dog area and plenty of pleasant puppies and people to chat with on your visit. If you like to think of yourself as a Pokemaster... There is also a lot of Poke stops and Pokemon all around the park.

Megan Henry

Great place to take your four legged friends for a stroll. This place gets busy during the summer, so plan accordingly. There is a bathroom at the top of the hill, as well as some trash cans. If you want to have a picnic, bring your own blanket or chairs to sit on. Seating is really limited!

Jesica Brown

Great park! Beautiful scenery! Trails are great for walking. Love this place!

Jafar Eslami

Combination of water, woods, greens, picnic area, kids playing area, and many free parking lots makes it worth to spend a hot day or an evening with your friends and family or solo at this gorgeous park.

steven martinez

Beautiful views, very relax place to visit.

Yulia Konovnitsyna

One of my favorite places in Portland city limits. Great park with epic views and beautiful trails, dog park, lots of green spaces, and clean bathrooms. Family friendly and a date night gem.

J M

Nice and clean. Great for nice walks or workouts.

M A

I absolutely love Mount Tabor Park one of the few five stars that I have actually given out Mount Tabor is an extinct volcano smack in the heart of the greater Portland metro area provide spectacular views of the entire area just aboutand with all the trails and things to do you could spend nearly all they up there just be prepared to climb a few hills.

Sage F

It's so nice to walk around here. There's an open dog park, you can bike around, walk around, and there's beautiful views all over

E L

Make it to the top and bring a picnic basket! When we were there in July 2019 there were no mosquitos, and there was someone playing the piano. It was amazing there and I wish we had brought some chairs and food!

Andrew Brach

Clean park with very large fenced in off-leash dog area and paths. People seemed relatively friendly. Also, great views further up (on-leash areas).

Istvan Ferenc

One of my favorite places to go in Portland. Mt.Tabor is a volcano in the middle of the city. (extinct) great park for walking and family activities.

Curtis Libby

Nice park for an evening walk. Good views of the city

Sean Berry

The annual Soapbox Derby at Mt. Tabor. Lightly traveled hiking trails and spectacular views of Portland. A perfect place within the city to hike year round. Pet friendly.

Samantha Matthews

Best neighborhood park with trails, basketball and tennis courts, and awesome views of the city. Check out the visitor center to get information on all of the gorgeous trees in the park. Great place to walk stairs or go for a run. Parking is located all around the park all the way up to top of Mt Tabor.

David Littlewood

Lots of trails through the woods and a hugh and fantastic dog off leash area which is mostly fenced

Jay Combs

Great park right in the middle of the Eastside city. Good views of the area. Not many signs to direct you around the roads, GPS is useless once you're inside the park

calico 710

Gorgeous and very quiet. I could just curl up under the trees here and take a nap. Daisies and clover hawthorne trees as far as the eye can see. The occasional rabbit and woodpecker will hang out with you if you're quiet. There's a playground in there somewhere, but the trees seem to swallow up all the noise the kids make; they didn't bother me while I was reading at all, and I was there for hours.

Leandro Pimenta

Great park to go for a run, take your dog for a walk or even just relax. One of the greatest Portland skyline views are from this park. Must go for locals and tourists

LEG

Mount Tabor all the way! How does something so beautiful exist in the middle of a city?! It should be labeled a “Great Wonder of the world.” Hiking, biking, basketball court, playground for the kiddos, and my favorite, bombing down the mountain on your skateboard. Great for dog walkers and nature lovers. Not for people out of shape. Very “hilly” but duh it’s a mountain (kinda?) so you knew that.

Jenny Christopher

I love it here! It's gorgeous and there's so many different paths to take you'll never get bored.

Jason H

Beautiful park with amazing views of Southeast Portland. Great place for walking, enjoying nature, and relaxation.

Alex Sutton

This is a very beautiful and unique park in the Portland area. There are several options for hikers, bicyclists, families, dog owners, people looking to exercise, play sports, ect. Has multiple entrances and parking lots, with lots of street parking as well. Parking is free both inside and outside of the park. Takes up several blocks and is accessible from multiple streets. Has a specific park made for dogs is an off leash dog park. Multiple walking trails and biking trails. Through out the entire park there is working water fountains, which also have attached dog fountains.

Mikaila Carter

Perfect for the family, for a run, for your dog, or for a nap. Great scenery and paths available!

Alicia Van Nuland

Huge, beautiful park with a lot of history. Many times I have come here to relax because it is within walking distance, but I never stumbled upon the restroom and plaque about the history of this park. I had to go find the statue that was sculpted by the person who designed Mt. Rushmore! How cool! You can see half of Portland from this park. Cool sight.

Tashina Lowry

Great place for families and visitors. This place is huge with many different trails of all difficulty levels. Clean and beautiful views of trees, Mt.Hood and downtown Portland. Highly recommend for a jog, a walk, a hike or just a place to hang out and be peaceful!

Joseph Milazzo

Great park, huge trails. Amazing to just be there.

Kenny Van Winkle

Plenty of room so you're not shoulder to shoulder with people. Parking is free, plenty of spots. The park is clean. No garbage just laying around. Plenty of garbage cans available.

Kristen

Great place for picnics, hiking, and just enjoying the view! Love how convenient it is to city life. Great spot!

Olivia Harmer

Great park located near the city. I came here to escape the hustle and bustle. The trails are great and there are plenty of benches to take breaks, plus its a dog friendly park.

Grace Huang

Wonderful park with easy access. Very versatile as well! I can come here for a workout and run the stairs or walk up to the top for a picnic in the sun with a beautiful view of the city!

Joel Turner

Beautiful area with a lot of different route. Even on reading days it's nice to take a walk up here. Great views from the top. It's a great place to do hill runs on the road or trails and stair climbs in multiple areas. I usually park on the street on the west side and hoof it up the stairs. There are some parking areas nearby but I haven't used them yet. We've watched some meteor showers up here and it was beautiful. Just make sure you have something to keep the bugs away.

Alex Ziegler

This place is so beautiful and I love playing tennis here. How so it has some swings and is great for younger kids and you can bring your dogs.

Carrie Dickson

Beautiful views, okay play equipment, gorgeous trees.

Katy B.

Looking for easy trails for a stroll or run? Do you enjoy crowded and gorgeous views of the sunset over the city? Do you crave sweating through a tough uphill battle on you bike, just to breeze your way down? Perhaps you just need a grassy field to relax on with a good book. Well, Mt. Tabor can deliver all your needs!

Nick frost

One of the coolest parks I can remember. If you have dogs check out the off-leash dog park area of this park. It's large, spread out, plenty of room for your fur-babies to meet other dogs and people. The rest of the park is large and set up into the side of a hill. Surrounded by and in a forested area this is definitely my favorite park in Portland. So far...

Patrick Reyes

The views are awesome and you can get some pretty pictures during golden hour

Dee Stenz

An inactive volcano in the heart of SE Portland, with three open-air reservoirs, fed by Bull Run, and an expansive multi-use outdoor area, that includes nature-trails and a dog-park; and my favorite part---watching summer/autumn sunsets from the BEST mountain viewpoint in Portland!

Troy Sterling Woody

Love this wonderful park with great views of the city, of Mt Hood, plenty of trails, picnic tables, benches, great off-leash dog park area and lots of trees and green spaces!

Ethan Sipser

Great spot for a little nature walk, or working out. There are some really great views and places to picnic. It is super dog friendly, but I believe they must stay on leash. My.Tabor is also home to one of Portland's water supplies! Super interesting.

Lisa Renelle

Beautiful clean park, amazing views and walks.

Jay

Very nice but sort of hard to spot off leash dog park. I pretty trail will delight both humans and canines!!

alexis flores

Gorgeous views of the sun setting over the city, nice play structure for kids, has parking with bathroom access and paved roads that reach the top. Nice basketball court. Usually pretty populated even later in the day which makes it feel safer. Tons of stairs for the exercise fanatics! Very popular neighborhood spot.

Leo's Travel

I love this park! Parking is good as long as the gate below is open. You can bike, hike, or run. There are benches you can sit and relax. I see people out with picnic blankets and people training running up and down the long steps. Biking is cool, but some sections might be too steep coming downhill for the little one. My youngest, 6yo crashed pretty hard there once. But also excellent learning for him.
