REVIEWS OF Moda Center IN Oregon

Marco Polo

Seating is too cramped. Concessions are ridiculously expensive. I'll always prefer the Memorial Coliseum.

deadcell47

The Moda center, formally and better known as The Rose Garden is one of the best sporting arenas out there. They have some amazing food from some of the local area restaurants, and a good selection of beer. If you are going to see a concert there it is a "state of the art" facility's. In the rafters they have these panels that absorb sound on one side and reflect it on the other. Making it a great place to see a concert.

Dirk Asbury

Awesome venue to see concerts and great staff working there.

Mario Andreu

It is a great venue, I have been many times for concerts and although there are many peoples the area is always clean, there are a good selection of food and drinks, staff are really helpful and it is easy to get out after the show us done. Bathroom are clean and close to any exit. It is a magnificent building that is been kept very up to day.

Timothy M

So many great shows here, the venue is clean an lots of booths for food and bars on the floors. But the seats are just too crammed to be comfortable for me. My knees always hit the chair in front -- not good after several hours of sitting.

Josh Means

Some of the best concerts I have enjoyed here. Great acoustics and staff.

k o

Saw marilyn manson and rob zombie. It was an incredible show that went beyond my expectations, which was pretty high. Be careful not to bring food or drink as they make you toss it. But the beer inside is pretty great.

Dustin Cotton

A lot of food options at all levels. Modern wifi works well anywhere in the building. Common issue with arenas but still worth noting, concourse doesn't have enough bathrooms for large events/games.

Caleb Frink

Absolutely love going here. Always great to go to family friendly and easy to find.

Kyle Kunze

Had s great time watching the winterhawks

Candice Ray

Great venue for events, food is ok, lots of good choices, prices are venue fair (most things between 8$ and 15$)

Liam

Beautiful arena and great service, beers and food are very good price and the atmosphere is amazing during games. Definitely recommend coming here

Radu T.

Not well organized. 3rd level has long lines, no lines downstairs. Unhappy workers. Very salty food (I guess to trigger your thirst). They will tell you StubHub blocks the transfer of the tickets in the last 24 hrs so you buy from them. (You can get around that with a screenshot ). Feels like a big city rip off where they rely on fresh faces, not on satisfied customers.

Alina Vlad

I have been there for a Sting concert and most recently for the TrailBlazers and Oklahoma City Thunder basketball play offs!!! It was absolutely crazy energetic atmosphere, like no other place. Never seen so many people in one place, cheering together for the same cause. Great food options, the game was AMAZING!!!

Khyle Socrates Jaen

Love visiting the Moda Center! Whether it's a basketball game or standup comedy, it's been a fantastic experience every time.

Evan Asato

Very peaceful, yet haunting. Appreciate the public access outlets. Gives an opportunity to emotionally outlet as well.

J. Ferguson

Not understanding of Ticketmaster screwing me and terrible acoustics anyway. People not very helpful or knowledgeable. Clothing allowed is not consistent.

Diana Fishel

Go Blazers. Good place for concerts

Chillywillypyro

Joe Rogan it was great did have to remove my shoes on the way in. Just because they are not steel toed doesn't mean they dont have metal in them

Davos777

The grounds are well kept wih a fire and water display that is worth the trip to see.

paula rogers

The guy that assisted my friend on crutches into a wheel chair and walking us to the car with the wheel chair was super sweet.

Emily Larson

Saw Michael Bublé here in April. A nice venue, seats were comfortable; could see the stage and screens well. It was a little difficult navigating the parking lot and entrance.

Cassie Myers

Fun venue for concerts. Large, fits people. Also good for sports. That's basically the two main reasons this venue exists. I haven't seen any Theater of The Clouds shows yet but I'm sure those are excellent too. Too bad I hate TicketMaster.

Kristi Lestick

Went to see Judas Priest live in concert here and the place was amazing. Parking is a little bit of a distance, but all in all, am looking forward to seeing another show at Moda in the near future.

Alexander Santo

I went to the Metallica concert here and had a blast. My wife required a wheelchair to get to our seats, and someone met us at our car, helped us navigate our way through the building and got us to our seats. After the show, they met us with the wheelchair and helped us through the crowd back to our car. This was very helpful and I don't think we would have been able to get to our seats otherwise. I'm extremely grateful for this service, as it helped us to have a great experience. I was also surprised to find that the food is reasonably priced.

MsAnnie2112

Organized friendly staff. Convenient parking.

Greg Cyrus

The layout makes it easy for a big crowd to exit quickly. The biggest complaint is the obnoxiously high prices for food and drink.

Sharon Anton

Seems to run pretty smoothly there. Decent choices for vendors. Labeled well to find your way through the maze. Wasn't too bad leaving and getting back to the freeway.

Michael Dennis

Went to see Mumford and Sons. The staff was friendly and quick. The show was amazing! Getting out of the parking structure was a bit of a challenge, uber or lyft to avoid the parking issue.

Johanus Flores

This was the first time I ever attended the Moda Center, and it’s a pretty decent location, pretty clean and easy to navigate. The only downfall was the audio was not setup and equalized well in my opinion. I still enjoyed it, as it was Disturbed, and who wouldn’t enjoy them. But that did take this review down by 1 point, as I couldn’t enjoy it to the best that I wanted to. Been to other venues where disturbed played in the exact same tour and Moda center AV could use a little better equalizing. Still highly recommend as it’s a great location and easy parking and all.

nik stamos

First time at this venue. Not much close by in the area for killing time. Everything inside was nice and well maintained. I don't understand why the food vendors sell sealed bottles of water and then pour it into a plastic cup ? C'mon Portland, that's way out of character, doubling up on waste packaging. Saw a great show. Parking was good.

Dawn Rosiejka

Good venue for a myriad of events... parking can be a challenge and refreshments are at a premium price

Ruby Breckler

I love it here. There's always loads of activities to do and you'll never be bored. Although, food is pretty overpriced. But other than that, great place.

Dustin Erdman

I’ve been to 4 concerts - of different genres - and sat in 4 different locations. Each event has had quality sound and each seat has had its pros, even the nosebleeds (if directly to the right or left of performers stage) have advantages (you get to see the front house show and behind the scenes!). Large bathrooms on all 3 floors mean lines are shorter (especially on levels 2 and 3!). The venue doesn’t set the price for the event tickets...but they do charge the small price of your firstborn for a concession refreshment. Such is life... Parking is conveniently located to the Moda Center and they always have staff directing traffic before and after events, which is nice. Getting out after an event is easy until you get onto the actual roads. Some major traffic congestion is inevitable. Garages are $20 per vehicle to park. A great venue that has spawned some great memories.

Nikki Bond

Easy to navigate with the signage. Nice layout. Concert sounded great. Bathrooms were easy to find.

Larry Hood

Had a great time new years watching hockey.

Samantha & Moose

My friends and I went to a concert here and the venue is great. The staff helped us relocate spots when I had a medical issue pop up and I forgot to get ADA seats. The sound quality was insane! It was easy to park and the people directing traffic were very helpful.

Susan Evans

I've been to many arenas before but this one is definitely amazing. We ended up buying seasonal tickets for the Blazers!

Michael LoGiudice DC

Aug 3 2019 Disturbed was on stage. In the Moment was up first. I purchased nose bleeders for cheap, arrived and was upgraded for no additonal fees. Super stoked. Nice location to the stage.

Kristine Todd

Just saw Mumford and Sons! The layout for the venue is great, good view of the stage from even the nose bleeds. Plenty of bathrooms and places to get drinks or food.

Kendal Zumini

Parking here sucks but good talent plays here so it's worth it

Bry Moody

The staff was incredible in helping us find our way around. And parking was available without a pass which was so nice!

James Davis

Very helpful staff and well handled Accessability options and assistance. The concert was great and traffic was being handled very well.

Jamie Corff

This is not my favorite place to see a show. I like more intimate venues. However they sound is always great.

Kelsey Hoag

Amazing venue. Plenty of bathrooms (especially for the ladies), good food choices including healthy and vegan options, water bottle refill station, and multiple doors for easy and fast entry. The seats are comfy and there is not a bad seat in the house. Everyone has a great view.

G Lee

Love this place. So many wonderful memories! I don't recommend the basic seating. But if you can afford the glass rooms with the amenities! It's much more cozy & relaxing. Love the seating options

Gary Mulhern

Really nice arena. Clean and well taken care of. Great recycling and helpful ushers. Food places are about movie theater prices . The negative is the lack of leg room and parking fees($15-20 to park in the structures).

Cindy Barrett

Boyfriend and I just saw Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, great show! Have seen several concerts here, always have easy parking, quick on and off I-5. Prices of food and drinks are pretty high, but that's to be expected I suppose. Great place to see a show!

Shawn Pidcock

Just saw an old school concert from Lionel Richie. Awesome concert and he entertained the audience. A must see

Corey Branstrom

How do you review a giant stadium venue? The inside is what it is. I've seen many concerts, a few Blazer games and other types of events. It all seems to function pretty well. The sound is better than some, but it's still a stadium. I can say that the food is definitely better than other giant venues. They had an excellent local craft cider (Avid) and many of the food options are also local, like Killer Burger. You may have to walk a bit to find those, so make sure you know what you want and where it is. Even the generic ones are decent, and they don't gouge you as much as they could (cough, Safeco Field, cough, cough).

Conley Grabotin

Absolutely love this arena when I get the chance to visit it for Blazer games. The management has done a tremendous job bringing in quality food options and all the staff enjoys their jobs which adds to the overall experience of the games which are always great. Go Blazers

Jessie Weis

Very large wit comfortable seating for an arena. Very beautiful.

Jaime MacNamara-Loflin

I would rate 5 but the price on food and soda is insane. It is very clean and great for events but very over priced.

Richard Mohan

I love concerts at the MODA and 2 cellos was no exception. If I had one complaint it's that they have some food places and shops that only open for sporting events. But overall it's a great venue.

Pearblossom 13

Went to see Lana Delray last week. This week we went to the NF in concert. I have to request ADA seating. They are so very kind and always asking how they can helo

Christine Wilson

Excellent helpful staff. Top notch people

Elizabeth Bogue

Always a great place for a concert, or sports event, or any event really. But I do advise eating before you go because the prices for food have skyrocketed since the last time I was there.

Ryan Mitton

My favorite arena to watch a basketball game, it is clean and a great atmosphere. If you are in Portland and don't know what to do see what is going on here and you will have a packed evening. They have good parking and you can always find a spot. Go Blazers!

Katie James

Went to see Joe Rogan got floor seats and garage parking. Friendly staff and good security. It was smooth to get out after the show. Very moderate traffic.

John C

Saw Elton John here. It's a very nice venue. The concessions were way overpriced.

D Tefft

This place is fantastic once you get inside. Parking is a little chaotic but there were a lot of anxious fans. The staff was helpful and the screens were angled so the game could be seen by all the sections. Great venue!

Ian Taber

Moda Center is a great venue for watching the Blazers or taking in a concert. Lots of restrooms and plenty of food variety.

Debbie White

Saw Mumford and Sons, it was awesome. The only thing I didn't like was how steep the seats are... I wonder how many people have fallen?

Nathan Heishman

Easy to park! Easy to find! Sound inside was great! Food was awesome!

Lee Graham

Iron Maiden played here on 6th September 2019, what a venue, loved every second of it

Kathleen Evans

Even though it was cramped seating I give them 5 stars because the wonderful staff that found my husband's cell phone that fell under the seating area. It was waiting for us at the guest services. Thanks so much, it almost ruined my husband's birthday.

Christina Powell

Good event Center, but if you have a hotel with in walking distance you get 1/2 block from it and you have to walk in the street due to the homeless pitching tents on the side walk.

Gina Messenger

Concert was awesome but under age drinking was going on and they didn't even kick her and her mom out that was giving it to her. It was good up to that point. People complained but security didn't do anything that'd rectified that problem so they left because it ruined it for them.

Tödliche Verwüste

Personal note: this location will always be The Rose Garden, and no corporate buyouts are going to change that for me. It's been a great many years since I was able to attend an event here and I am pleased to finally see some of the renovations that have been completed since my youth. As a customer, I don't agree with how long it takes to ascend to higher floors, especially with the crowd, however it's streamlined the ability to leave when your events finished.

July Teal

This venue is excellent for games and concerts. Wide selection of foods offered once inside the moda center. On the outside though the options are limited and extremely crowded. A few more food places on the outside would make it a better experience. Also the bathrooms on the outside (port-o-potties) were exceptionally disgusting. Other than those two issues the experience was wonderful.

Jeana

Love this place. If only there was more parking...

Rainbow Colder

2Cellos tonight in the "Theater of the Clouds" set up at the Moda center arena...what a fabulous show relief fund wonderful light and sound design... These guys can really really play! as far as the venue goes even though the artists on stage kept inviting people down to dance the ushers kept everyone out of the open areas so there was much less spontaneous dance and movement then there might have been, and that always makes me a little sad at a show.

Phong Ngo

Been here for multiple events and I find the facilities and overall feel of the building great. I wish the traffic to get here for events weren't so bad but that isn't really the fault of the Moda Center.

Tara T

Came here from Vancouver, Canada with my partner to watch a Trail Blazers game during the playoffs. The arena is a good size and overall clean. The seating can feel a bit tight at times, but it serves its purpose. The employees at the concession and merch stand were super friendly and the washrooms were clean.

Melanie Wilson

Lauren Daigle was amazing as ever. No lines, not too crowded, great seats... It was a night to remember. She'd absolutely stunning. Very talented young lady. Great time.

Dakota Florence

Beautiful place, could be bigger but perfect for the events they hold. Blazer games are the best, it would be 5 stars for that but 4 stars cause its not the best venue for concerts

J Campbell

Very nice venue. The number system for seat sections need better signage to help people find the best direction to walk in. If you study the map before going in you'll avoid walking around lost!

Kevin Woods

I really like this arena. I was able to take the Max Rail Line directly to the arena. I did not have to worry about parking at all. Security was very good at getting fans into the arena. You have a good view of the court from anywhere in the arena. We were in the top section and could still follow the action with ease. The concession stand prices were very agreeable.

isaiah morelos

Great place for concerts. If you have the opportunity buy floor tickets, the extra price is well worth the experience.

Sierra Asbury

Always a great venue for any type of show! Recommend Theater of the Clouds shows over the bigger ones, but depends on what you're going to see. Only complaint would be stadium prices, but what can you do?

Matthew Hilliard

This place is legit. Came here on June 23rd, 2019 to see Coheed & Cambria, Mastodon, and Every Time I Die and it was amazing. The show was a blast and everything from the sound quality to the security was top notch. It was my first time visiting as well, but I will be back. Definitely gotta see the Blazers in action now that I know the venue is so good. Once again the city of Portland lives up to my expectations. Long live Rip City!!!

Mike H

Only seen wwe in the last year but very helpful with handicap

Julio Perez

Nice and air conditioned with plenty of room. But the seats smelled like someone spilled beer and this event is alcohol free.

Phillip Ryder

Well maintained and very clean. Get a hot dog early before they sell out before half time! Great bar option on the upper level but at the end of the night get ready to vacate the upper levels pretty quickly because they don't like people hanging around chatting about the game in there way to clean up and get out for the night.

Glenda Laughlin

This is a great place to go for a WWE event, basketball game, and music concerts.

Thomas Walsh

Iron Maiden just put on the greatest show I have ever seen, and I have been to hundreds

TERRI BEVERAGE

ALL I CAN SAY IS I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!

michelle flavin

Just seen Chris Brown there. Had the best time ever. Will go again.

Harley Putnam

Tight quarters for 53 foot trailers. But doable. Has 6 docks

Marlene Denton

Really need more handicap spots on each parking level. Took my mom last night and couldn't find one so had to drop her off on level 5 where we were going into a suite then go find regular parking. Once inside the doors she had no where to sit and rest until I got back down to her.

Levi Beavin

Pretty nice place. Good security, very clean, and honestly a cool venue. We went for a concert.

Barbara Sandoval

Great venue. Restaurants were closed though for a Wednesday concert.

Colie Hill

Badass for a concert! We got #Disturbed!!! Comfy seats great view!!! Drinks available every level same with food and restrooms!

milo morgan

Went to see Twenty One Pilots preform, both the band and venue were amazing.

Derek Owen

The Moda Center as usual was clean, easy to get to, decently priced for a major sports arena, short bathroom lines, good food the blazers won and it was way too get out of. Other than Nurkic's injury (absolutely horrible) it was a great night. My wife is from London and loved her first game. Just needs to learn the rules now.

Dale Gardner

We just had an event there for the weekend and it was amazing. All the seats are great seats the sound system and video are top notch, and the staff including security are very friendly. Awesome job Moda Center

Dakota Prose

This place is always pretty great. Was disappointed with the police and security this time though. I told them about a backpack left out and they barely gave me the time of day. However - the concert was good. Lightning and signed was spot on this time.

David Moshinsky

Parking for a professional wrestling event was $17.00. Should have parked at Loyd's Center and walked. The facility itself was clean, smokeless, and air-conditioned.

-gunnar-

Absolutely love this place for anything and everything!

Lewiss Rives

I enjoy watching the Trailblazers play here with my adult kids. It's a great way to enjoy an evening with anyone. The concessions and concerts are terrific too. Great work.

Todd Richardson

Watch Disturbed concert with my wife had a really good time they put on a really good then venue! Will definitely come back to see more concerts here clean Pace well-organized easy to get in and out of. We parked close to the center did not use the parking look at it there.

Christian Swanson

Facility was clean, staff was polite and helpful. Parking was convenient and not too expensive. Way-finding signage in the parking as well as in the facility itself was inadequate. I'd suggest you download a mobile app with the entrances and seating sections before you go.

Christopher Jones

Nice clean venue for some rock and roll. Enjoyed the show and clean bathrooms. Nice selection of food and beer for between sets.

aaron edewards

Loved watching the game, not a bad seat in the house. We've seen some great concerts here as well

H M

First time at moda center to see Ghost. Very easy to locate seats, staff super friendly at merchandise stations. Great experience!

MissyAnn Estep

Excellent venue to see your favorite and more popular singers and bands. Security is tight enough to feel safe and loose enough to not feel like it bogs down the line and entry. So far, every person I have asked help from has been super friendly and very helpful. The Theater of the Clouds set up is wonderful and a fantastic way to see some of the more popular, but smaller venue bands and singers. Parking could use some organization and better availability for the larger shows.

Paul Bull

What a spectacular building! Especially beautiful at night. We were here for a basketball game and it was a great experience. We sat in some of the higher seats but could still see well. My only complaint is the prices. Tickets to the game, food and drinks were all crazy prices. But it must work because the place was packed. I would certainly recommend this venue.

John Dernoncourt

Concessions were of a dismal quality. The advertised bottled water was put in a cup and was hardly cool. The garlic fries included a paltry amount of fries and an over saturation of poor quality garlic gunk, and even that took about 10 minutes to get. On top of that, the beers were 11-13 dollars. I suggest eating before or after if you have to come here for an event.

Lori Robinson

After paying $500 for concert tickets and $30 for parking......$12 beers ? Sure ! We ordered 2 beers each. Neither of us could stand the warm sour dirty tap taste....reminded me of the can return area at the grocery store. For that price i expect the taste to be as good as The numerous places who serve same beer for $5.

Alexis Jackson

We had a blast friday time being here. Came from out of state to see Iron Maiden. This place is huge and no matter where you are it a great seat!

Jaimie Tisdel-Brown

One of my favorite venues! Always a great time and great people. Vendors and concessions are always amazing as well.

Luke Schepmoes

Easiest concert experience we've ever had. Ushers were great.

patrick dubois

Saw iron Maiden. Powerful loud performance almost like a religious experience.

Chris Faytinger

Saw Third Eye Blind with Jimmy Eat World opening. Gotta say, even in the nosebleeds, none of the seats are bad. I will say this... if heights are an issue for you, sit lower down.

Damon Butterfield

Whole show was great. Especially when they brought the bday girl up for the band and crowd to sing happy bday too then had her on stage as a special guest for the next song

cat draggon

Saw Lana Del Rey here, amazing experience and beautiful facility. The entrance line was swift and staff is efficient.

Jack Hong

My first NBA game in Portland, luckily to catch up D-Wade’s last dance, unforgettable memory and all staffs are nice and warm

Ronald Ewert

Say Morrissey at Moda. What a great show! We tried to sneak down to the lower level and got sent back to our cheap seats! Great sound and great venue!

Richard Dizon

I was thoroughly impressed at how easy it was to get in and out of the Moda Center for a Portland Trailblazers game. Compared to any of the venues I've been to in Seattle, it felt like this place emptied out instantly and it was refreshing to see an arena so smartly and conveniently designed. In addition to that, the fans here were incredible and I could feel the energy of the crowd the entire time, despite a rough ending for the team.

Jenna Rae

Oh Rose Garden.. you never disappoint. From Blazers to Weezer.. I'm always amazed. And the staff is always friendly and helpful making it a pleasant experience for someone like me who is easily overwhelmed by so many people.

KeytoAdventure

Great, clean, and huge. Good sound system and visuals. I come here a lot for concerts and games. Easy to get to by MAX. The staff are well organized as well

Jared Berarducci

Home to the Portland Trail Blazers and many other local teams and events the Moda Center is located in the heart of Portland. From all the different mini stores and restaurants there is always something fun to do in between the action. The security staff and all the workers here are always professional and ready to assist.

Kevin Chase

Always a good time. Only issue was the long wait in the concession lines. Could definitely use more bartenders.

Rain Howard

They would charge you for air if they could figure out how. The bathrooms make a truck stop seem clean. The price for anything inside that building is absurd. Seating sucks, designed for maximum occupancy and profit. The one positive is that they have sensory packs for those that need them. Comes with headphones and fidgets, weighted blanket and a few other things. The staff is mostly decent, I can say that.

Allyson Leigh

INCREDIBLE! Ample amount of space/legroom, great seat views, good proportionate amount of bathrooms - hardly any lines for the womens'!

Paul Paul Jr

Great place. Friendly and fun for all the family. The staff were all very nice and curious as always.

Jessica Fry

There was no food or beer vendors present for the neely cup. If I am going to be in an arena for 4 hours, I should be able to get some nachos and a beer. Seriously

Chadthe Pirate28

Have absolutely no interest in ever going to another game, or concert, or any other event at the Moda Center!!! Third time in a row where I was REQUIRED to put my ticket on my phone! Never going to this capitalistic monstrosity of an arena ever again! Sell YOUR OWN tickets at YOUR OWN box office! Some of us love to leave are phone at home and just go out to enjoy ourselves without any distractions! So over this greedy empire! ...Yeah God forbid you actually have to use some of the extra millions of dollars you inflate each year out of that arena through over priced souvenirs, increased and overprices jerseys and merchandise, not to mention the cost of a simple meal! And I believe the real reason you only sell these tickets through the phone during certain events is because THOSE EVENTS ARE SPONSORED BY LARGE TELECOMMUNICATION COMPANIES, you two are working together to make even more money on everyone else by branding an event as MORE EXCLUSIVE and then pretending it's for OUR SAFETY! Fraudulence? Trust an actual ticket way more than a phone any day, but lets push the security theater agenda!!!

Cheshire Kitten

I was at a convention that rented the Moda for a weekend and it is very spacious and well-appointed. My only peeve is that they had so few of the concession stands open on a weekend for a convention with enough people to justify renting the entire center out. The poor concession employees were just set upon!

Herman Wolff

I help a handicapped person in a wheelchair. There was an error made in the tickets we purchased for this ELO performance. The man that helped us, Shawn, was GREAT! He got is located in seats that were better than we had purchased and my friend was able to stay in his wheelchair. Excellent service, they really do a fantastic job and do it with a smile. What could have been a very unpleasant experience turned out to be a grand time. Thank you Shawn for your help!

Cassandra

Giant place for a show. Which is good and bad, concerts should be spent not sitting in a seat but that's just me (to be ground level at the show it was pretty spendy.) Spectacular area for some cool theatrical extras and whatnot. All in all pretty rad spot.

Phillip Bozarth

I havent been in the center itself but I did visit the grounds and I must say it is fantastic. Trees galore wheelchair friendly clean the staff that cleans and keeps it looking great should get a big raise.

Elijah McNear

My sister's graduation was held here by Portland State University! It was a lot of fun and the seats were relatively comfortable for a stadium. I've eaten here before and of course it's pricey, but the food is good. I love the pretzels with extra salt and nacho cheese. Hope your event is fun too!!

Steven's Music

Good clean venue, amazing for concerts, of you have the time, go

Valerie A

The building itself is fun, well kept. There are lots of lights, patios, gathering places, food options and plenty of access points. Getting there can be a little hectic, I recommend the Max but if you choose to drive they do have a very good system of directing cars and keeping the flow pretty smooth. Security is a little excessive with their search, my most recent experience was a very young adult using a wooden baton to smash around inside my VERY SMALL purse, cracked my IPhone screen. It is a phone, not a bomb, if they need you to move something, JUST ASK! It appeared to be all new staff on the suite level, older teens or very young adults, there were 3 people we had to go through the get access and all of them seemed confused what their individual jobs were. The guy who was supposed to wand everybody, didn't check anybody in the lines while we were there. Normally at events we are offered earplugs and breathing mask, we were there for Monster Jam, massive amounts of exhaust. We were not offered any of these things. Our suite had no toilet paper on the roll, the toilet appeared to have issue flushing so there were always leftovers for the next user. Prices are HIGH for any food or drink items, it is how they pay for these events so plan to eat before or after, it is not worth the price there.

Julianne Ruth

Terrible food! Super dangerous stairs. Like those stairs should be illegal. Dope seats from floor center. Fun if you have no chronic pain or injuries. Just be aware it's a pretty hazardous environment, even during an old school 70s band when the crowd is mostly older folks. I was legit worried about them - is there an elevator I missed or something? After the lights are out the stairs are even more dangerous as well as navigating to floor seats, and I'm currently in physical therapy after tripping over the fold out chairs on center floor. Not what I expected for $300 a ticket.

Colten Tidwell

A great place to go and watch your favorite team or kick back an listen to your favorite band. Family friendly, clean facilities, and an overall great atmosphere. We’ve had tickets on the first row right behind the Blazers bench and in the nosebleed 300 level and both are very fun. Concerts are also fun but don’t expect an intimate setting.

RONALD CARTER

Great venue for all types of entertainment. Lots of great food options inside and outside of the building.

Nicholas Burke

Went for a Post Malone concert! Great lighting effects and pyrotechnics. Sound was loud enough to make my video distort lol

Mary Wildey

Went to Blazers/Pacers game, lots of food and drink options, there wasn't a big wait for service, everything that we ordered was great. The venue staff was helpful and friendly. If you have a handicap sticker on your vehicle, you can pretty much park anywhere you want, even in the pass area but you still have to pay.

Aлександар Тадић

Moda Center, formerly known as the Rose Garden, is the primary indoor sports arena in Portland, Oregon, United States. It is used for basketball, ice hockey, rodeos, circuses, conventions, ice shows, concerts, and dramatic productions. The arena has a capacity of 19,393 spectators when configured for basketball.[2] It is equipped with state-of-the-art acoustics and other amenities.

Frank Wilson

As a concert venue, the only things that Moda center has going for it are: 1 - big, so bigger acts can book there, 2 - easy in and out, and 3 - easy access to services like drinks. However, the acoustics are TERRIBLE. If you just want to say that you went to see someone, then fine. However, if you have any interest in actually enjoying the music, then you might be better off waiting. Even a high end concert setup sounds like a basketball PA system in that building.

Gavin Cox

Saw logic ybn cordae jid dame dolla and big Lenbo here

I've been here for two concerts and I think the venue is great. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the seats offer a good view, and it's easy getting in and out of the venue. There are plenty of food and beverage options, though my only complaint are the ridiculous prices on beer, just couldn't justify it.

Had an excellent experience at the Post Malone Runaway tour!

My enjoyment of shows here plummeted when alcohol started being allowed in the seating area. Last night's Judas Priest show was ruined for me by drunks in my section. Some people might say "It's Judas Priest, what do you expect". Common courtesy is what I expect. We should be able to enjoy a show, no matter the act. I will avoid this venue until that policy is revised.... good luck with that. They make too much money on their $10 beers.

Great concert, safe place with courteous helpful staff

I really like this arena. I was able to take the Max Rail Line directly to the arena. I'd suggest you download a mobile app with the entrances and seating sections before you go.

They could have a better way of telling people where to go for GA floor tickets. We walked all outside the venue looking for a place to check in. Please get more helpful signs or more people that know how to give better directions.

Visited from the UK for the Iron Maiden gig. Great venue, very well presented, organised and managed. Entered through security quickly and smoothly. Stagger were super helpful and friendly despite struggling with our accent (shout out to Vince at customer services)! Plenty to choose from if eating and drinking is your thing, clean bathroom facilities. Nose bleed seats right at the back but comfortable and with great sight lines. Excellent acoustics and Maiden were awesome. Very easy to access using the Max transit system before and after the gig, again fantastically well managed and organised with staff on hand to help make sure you get the correct tram.

Suite seating at the Moda center really is sweet. FSA had the best seats in the house! Thanks guys!!

Great venue very expensive beer and alcohol and early cut off for smoking section and beer sad. But everything else was great

They hired me and were nice to me. Its staffed by Portland's messiest and craziest but it's a manageable job so you'll prolly have fun So expensive though like eat beforehand straight up

Went up a BSB concert and was thoroughly amazed. It was huge inside, roomy seats, even though we stood during the concert, lots of eating places inside.

I went to a game at the Staples Center while on a trip to L.A. recently and compared to that arena, the Moda Center is very modern, clean, and has a good flow to the layout. The only thing I liked better at the Staples Center were the seats which were wider. The seats at Moda are so cramped! I'm tiny and I feel cramped; I can only imagine what it'd be like for a 6' tall dude. But other than that, Moda is cool.

A spectacular building! Especially beautiful at night. We were here for a basketball game and it was a great experience. We sat in some of the higher seats but could still see well. My only complaint is the prices. Tickets to the game, food and drinks were all crazy prices. But it must work because the place was packed. I would certainly recommend this venue. Just know that you’re wallet will be empty after you go out from this place.

Great! Love being the "i" in the RIP CITY sign. Beautiful!
