Great bmx ,dirtbike trails! Also nice paths for walkers. Love the summit where you can catch great views and a "fort". Little shelters,"forts" located here and there in park. Done some geocaching here. There are horsetrails here too, I think more on the way side. Beautiful place

Lovely place. I especially like how there are signs everytime the trail splits. It made it easy to follow the trail i was hiking (outback loop)

This is a great place to ride mountain bikes . The trails rang from easy moderate to Extreme. All are open to Hikers some are restricted not hours on some. There are 3 ways in to cathedral hill sky Crest, Hamilton, Williams highway. Sky Crest is a moderate Entrance Hamilton extreme and trends and William highway is easy. There are lots of miles of trails .

We love cathedral hills! It has been mainchain very well. Very clean and well marked trails. We have never had any problems in the hills, we feel very safe hiking with our dogs and exploring different trails. Cathedral hills is a big blessing for grants pass and Josephine county.

Unfortunately people are not always considerate. There is designated parking for horse trailers, people consistently park without a horse / trailer and take up the few spots that are allotted to us. it's really a very frustrating.

We Went when it swas78 degrees. Burnt up and not a good choice. Perhaps in fall it would be better. Poison oak too; however the trails are wide enough to avoid it.

Sorry I can't be of more help on this one but my wife couldn't go very far due to not feeling well. The short sections of trail I did manage to get on seemed to be very rideable and maintained. The one complaint I have is that very few of the trails had current correct signs. Since we were new to the place, trying to remember what the main map said was impossible. Otherwise I was pleased with things. I will be back.

All different levels of trails... I typically do a few laps on bridges trail using Manzanita tunnel to hike up. That's for mountain biking.

Great trail system. Easy to somewhat difficult trails for everyone. Horses and dogs welcome.i would advise taking a picture of the map at one of the trailhead. Eazy to get mixed up. The "W" trail from epsey side is by itself and goes off to the West to a loop around the top of one of the Foothills. It's a good up hill trail that is well worth it!!

Great place to hike with my dog. Great wildflowers in Spring. Lots of variety in both trails and usage. Mountain bikers, hikers, runners, horse back riders and dogs. Everyone seems to be respectful of each other. Three years of going up regularly no issues.

What to do in Southern Oregon

We hiked the Skycrest Trail which a great easy loop perfect to take kids on. Can't wait to go explore more trails.

Keeping dogs on leashes is posted, but often not obeyed. I've had several standoffs with unleashed aggressive dogs here until their owners caught up and took control all the while telling me repeatedly "he's a good dog". Friendly dogs have rubbed up against me after running off trail through poison oak I've seen unleashed dogs spook horses here which was very dangerous for the animals, riders and everyone near. The trail system deserves a five star rating if not for the dog owner problem

Been hiking up here for 30 plus years. If you take your 4 legged friend please use a leash. Lots of wildlife they can chase and easily become lost. Not to mention other hikers and bikers with their 4 legged friends don't always want an encounter with an unleashed dog.
