OMG!! we have done other escapes rooms but this was by far the BEST! Fun and just hard enough without becoming frustrating! We did “Dinner for Two” extremely fun, we didn’t escape but that’s what an escape room is about! We will be back to another room!
Stupid place, dumb staff
Awesome!! Super fun. Recommend to everyone!
Tons of fun! Even for a novice puzzle solver, it was doable! Thanks for the fun!
Great fun! Would recommend this to anyone.
I bought the ‘Serum 42’ room for a group of 5 kids under 12. There was no indication of the level of difficulty on the website but the boy working with us there told me it’s the hardest room, after we didn’t make it out. I paid full price for the private room and later noticed it was on Groupon which stung a little, and of course the employee helping us didn’t mention it. A clue helped get us started but I think the problem is that once you complete a task, there’s absolutely no indication what to do next without using another clue. It’s finding numbers to open locks but it seemed like the clues inside the locked boxes were vague and didn’t really ever point us in the next direction. Near the end of our sad little hour, one of our players attempted a code on a lock and vigorously attempted to open the shackle. It was sad and cute at the same time, but it prompted a female employee to pop their head in and say, ‘please don’t try to break our locks’ in a terribly condescending manner then shut the door again without letting anyone respond. The person trying to ‘break their lock’ was a 60 lb girl, cutest thing but obviously their worst nightmare. I didn’t appreciate what the employee did and it kind of ruined the mood. It was strangely loud in the hall the entire hour we were there. When I told the male employee who checked us in that we would never try to break anything he responded that some people do try to break their locks so.... The staff appears to be middle to high school age. Overall it was a poor use of money and time, the game needs some tweaking I think, the room was sort of junky, needs nicer props. For the cost I’d hope they could afford some newer less makeshift things, the staff need some pointers on customer service but mostly just to finish puberty. It was just an insulting awkward finish to a poorly put together overpriced game.
Awesome experience
We had an amazing time! It was so much fun!
Super nice, friendly staff!! The room was definitely challenging but achievable! Thank you for a great time!
Fun and challenging! We went with our daughter!
Great rooms for a great price! My partner and I did the dinner for two and only had to use a couple hints! The puzzles are hard but fair! We're definitely going again.
Had lots of fun.
Great place and a lot of fun!
Fun place, good puzzles, and you get a private room no matter how many people you book (at no extra charge). They have several rooms but I'm looking forward to them changing a few out as some are very old.
I love escapes rooms and we went to this one for a date. I loved that there could actually be only a person escape room. This is hard to find. The building is kind of hidden and the girl running it was nice and pleasant. We were able to figure out most of the clues and like most rooms they helped when needed.
My daughter wanted to do an escape room for her 16th Birthday. From the first time I called to inquire to the end of our hour, the staff were polite and helpful. We had two more than the 10 max and they were the only escape room to accommodate our larger group. I would recommend MER to anyone looking for a fun night. The kids throughly enjoyed it. We will be back!
We had a blast! We played the room “Serum 42” , the clues are well put together, challenging but doable! Will definitely come back!!
Very fun
husband and I did the art heist room for a date night. we've done approximately 60 rooms at this point and while this one wasn't bad, it wasn't great either. the room wasn't immersive, there were no surprises, the puzzles were fine - nothing creative that we hadn't seen before. the game Master was fine; we did request one clue, which took a while to come in, but was helpful once we received it. if you're an escape room junkie, maybe skip this room, but if you're looking for an introduction to escape rooms, this one isn't terrible.
The building itself was well equipped, and the location was good in that there was street parking, but it was off a typical path, so there was spaces available. The location was good, however. The staff was very nice, and the games and puzzles they had in the waiting room were fun. We chose the Egyptian room option, and it was pretty fun, and it had multiple rooms. The clues were not easy, which was good, but the help was appreciated. My friends and I enjoyed it, and I would like to go back again one day.
Loved it but for the love of everything holy TAKE THE RIGHT PEOPLE, that makes everything. Was really fun. Great clues. Makes you use your brain for the average intelligence. Definitely not for the geniuses though. You would be bored.
Our escape room was a fun experience. The atmosphere is not as fancy as other locations we've been to, but the owners are doing great with what they've got and I'd try another experience here for sure.
Lots of fun. Big groups are welcome.
The hosts were wonderful and the room was well put together! The clues were challenging but made total sense and flowed well together. We will be happy to come back and try another room!!
A really fun family time.
What a great time we had. I highly recommend this place. We will be back soon.
It was very fun
The room we did was great for our large group (8 people) and was a very fun science theme! The details of the lobby and the room itself were not as elaborate as some companies but still very fun.
Even though we messed up the booking, they got us sorted out with a room right away. We had a great time and enjoyed the variety of puzzles available.
A fun place! Would recommend this place!
My husband and I did the Dinner for Two room recently and I think it was one of my favorite date nights ever. The set up of the room was well done and everything was thoroughly explained to us before we began. We were not able to escape but we had a great time trying. It was great to be able to work together towards something instead of seeing a movie like a typical date night. We were talking about it for days and can't wait to try again with a group.
Decent but OKC is much better.... For what it offers, too expensive.
Great group fun. Must try!
Had a great time, will definitely do another room!!!
Group of 6 of us did the Codebreaker Room today! I was fully expecting it to be a little cheesy, but it was SO fun! We all got into it and made it out with ONE second to spare! Highly recommend for group date night!
Took my husband for his birthday. He really enjoyed it! Lol!! I was stressed out of my mind. I was so worried about the clock! I didnt want to use our hints, bc "What if we need them layer?" I'm just to type A and competitive.
This was my first time in a mystery solving room, had such a great time! The staff were so nice and helpful. Absolutely will come again.
Very fun, clues are available if you need them.
Bring your own paper and pencil, and the place was likely understaffed since I had to go out and find someone to give us a hint. The room (Art Heist) had a puzzle we believe was wrong as it didn't spell the word it was supposed to. The room was well organized, the lady at the front desk was nice, so I would probably do this again, but this isn't the best escape room place I've been in.
Best fun ever with the family
Really fun place for escape rooms. This was our first time to do an escape room. The hostess was very friendly and described what needed to be done. We did run into one snag with a lock that would not open even though we had the correct combo. They helped us through the issue and added the time back that was lost on it. Overall a great time and we would do it again.
Loved it! Had a great time with the the Mystery Mountain room. The room setup was incredible.
We had so much fun! We did "Dinner for Two" and had a blast. I went with a first time escape room participate and he was able to catch on really quickly with this room. Can't wait to go back and try one of the other rooms!
Challenging and fun. Even though we didn't make it out, we still had plenty of laughs. Good family time.
Friendly staff and immersive rooms! The rooms are challenging but rewarding even if you aren't able to escape. Already planning our next trip there!
We did the toumb today and had a blast! Honestly it's really hard! We had to ask for clues because we were just too stupid to figure it out! We did escape with one minute left on the clock!
So fun
Had a blast. Good time with all. Staff was cool.
Our office had a group outing and it was pretty good. We made it halfway through the room. Will have to bring my kids and try.
We went earlier this year. It was alright, but we had a rather large group and the rooms were way too hot. The puzzle we worked was quite complex.
Birthday Visit We planned and bought a groupon before our visit. It is so much fun. We did 2 different games. They are well thought out and it is exciting to beat the clock. It is great for a group of people. I would say it would be difficult for younger kids to solve all the clues. I can't wait to go back and "Escape" from another room.
My partner and I did the Dinner for Two room, and it was absolute perfection! This is our second escape room. Everything about it was top-notch: the puzzles were intricate and complex without being impossible, the design of the room was well-thought out and neat, and our guide/host was incredible! Amazing customer service. Seriously, the cleverness of some of the puzzles had me and my partner laughing out loud for hours after we escaped. Will DEFINITELY be back.
Friendly staff. The clues are challenging but not impossible. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.
Enjoyed our time here! Thanks!
Very fun games! My fiance and I did the tomb and had trouble because the room wasn't reset completely. We still enjoyed ourselves very much! Would do it again!
Pretty fun
Love the staff!
The staff was professional and friendly. I had called to book an Escape for my daughter's birthday and they explained the different rooms and pricing. They handled 6 somewhat unruly teenagers well. The kids had a GREAT time. I'm looking forward to planning an escape myself but if I don't I may just go hand out in the lobby and try to solve that danged ol Rubik's Cube b
Moore Escape Rooms is a fun place to go with your friends and family. If you like solving puzzles or code breaking, then you are going to enjoy spending time here.
We had a lot of fun! We should've asked about a military discount. Didn't find out until we read another review. Then as luck would have it, there was a Groupon right after we purchased ours. I paid for our whole group so it would've been nice to save some money.
alot fun
A lot of fun!
So much fun!
Took the wife and my family for my wifes b day, had a blast, ages 56 to 8 , fun for all
Super fun experience. Went with group from work and the large rooms have enough stuff to do for everyone. Great team building exercises.
We have done several escape rooms in other states. This just wasn't good. Staff wasn't bad but also didn't add to the experience like other places. Clues were poorly done compared to all other places. Liked the concept of doing the room in the dark though.
Ok, but hard puzzles
Planned an ideal mystery date for the Escape Room in Moore, OK.We were set to do "Art of the Heist". When we first arrived it was hard to notice the sign on the building. Very small print and not a lot to show or stand out. The way it's advertised on the Groupon ad made it look so much more fascinating and captivating. Nothing like the pictures. Finally entered the building where we sat in a waiting room for about 10-15 min until some girl finally greeted us with a sign-up sheet. She left promptly right after. No big welcome or greeting which is kind of disappointing bc that is whole ideal is to let the people know how much mystery we are about to experience . My girlfriend and I were not impressed by the entrance, greeting or the whole plot whatsoever. Our host who shared the the pilot or back story didn't even know it. Some clues were not marked well which was disappointing. The 2 other couples completed a few other escape rooms so that helped the group some but the experience just was not fully enjoyed as it explained and looked in the ad. We may try another Escape Room but not the one from Moore, OK. It was a rough hour and the gimmicks didn't even hit par. I would not recommend this Escape House
Really fun place to go to. Went with family and we did the codebreaker one and it was really fun and hard. Love to go again!!!
It was fun, challenging and a great non traditional date. We drove five hours to do this and we're not disappointed. Dinner for two is great for couples.
Great date night option! The employees are polite and well trained, and the safe rooms themselves are very well thought out. Be sure to consider EVERYTHING in the room, even things that you would at first dismiss. ;p
This was fun! We got a Groupon for a group of six, so we knew everyone in our group. We tried Serum 42, and solved it in less than 46 minutes, which didn't get us on the Leader Board, but we were close. There was no guessing involved. We figured out the clues with everything in the room. However, we had read the synopsis on the web site, which was crucial, because the staff really didn't build the story up like they should have. Previous escape rooms I've done (elsewhere) have had a staff member brief the group on the room, giving a back story. This helps inform the group on its goal. Something as simple as the short synopsis online would be helpful. Figuring out the clues was challenging and fun. But read the synopsis on the web site before you go, or ask the staff member to give you the back story.
This is such an amazing escape room! You should definitely check it out if you are in the nearby cities. It's excellent for team building or just a group of friends having fun. :)
fun!
Visited this place last night and will never go again. We have been to other escape rooms and really enjoyed them. This one offered a Groupon so we checked it out. It was extremely hot, its the middle of August and there was no air in the whole building, first turn off. There was no one at the desk to greet us and we stood there for a good 5 minutes before someone came out to greet us, no personality at all. The puzzles were not age appropriate, which is not stated on the website when you pick your rooms. The puzzles do not lead you to the next clue or puzzle. You are literally standing there looking around the room as to what to do next. When we ask for a hint, the hints were no where close to anything we were working on and not obvious at all. The girl said to not think too hard but I am not sure what that meant as the clues did not make any sense to the puzzle. I guess we were supposed to be mind readers is the only logical thing i can come up with. At other escape rooms, your puzzle leads you to the next clue, this one does not do that at all. We did the Mystery Mountain and one of the puzzles was a water filter, once we got a hint to open the lock, there is absolutely no indication we needed to fill the hole with water to fill it up which opens the crate again for next clues. We were all frustrated and ready to give up. My son, who's birthday it was, did not enjoy it one bit and was ready to leave after 20 minutes. Afterwards, staff just said, okay thanks and had to go review the other rooms with people in it. Will never visit or recommend this place, as a matter of fact, i am telling all my friends to not visit this place, don't waste your money.
We were disappointed in this place. The room in and if it's self was good, but we didn't get a back story before the start. When we entered the room the host gave us the rules and such, but we had no idea what the story was. After playing for a bit we figured the story out, but half of the experience is the story.
We didn't get out, but not our fault! Bad room, 20 min of game time was useless due to the party going on outside our room, and bad staff who didn't care when we complained. My boyfriend and I have done a lot of escape rooms so thankfully this was not our first. Love escape rooms, will never be back to that place.
In my opinion, this was a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They had horrible clues that didn't make any sense. The room all in all was just a bunch of numbers that you had to guess was correct. I do not recommend this escape room.
Good fun with a big group! Would return for sure!
Hard to total blast the are 5 rooms to choose from 25 dollars per person and they are very challenging
Horrible horrible escape room! I took someone to this escape room for their first time explaining to them how much fun and interactive they are (others that I’ve been to), yet this one is the exact OPPOSITE! We sat in the middle of the room looking for clues.. literally SAT ON THE FLOOR. There were a bunch of puzzles to solve but the room wasn’t interactive. I felt bad for taking someone there for their first escape room because it was a waste. We weren’t immersed in the game at all.
Really enjoyed the Dinner for Two room as a unique date night. The room was nicely assembled and the puzzles were challenging, but not impossible. Will definitely be back to do more.
This place was awesome! We did it for a girls night out kind of thing. Escaping the room was a good challenge and it was real safe because they had cameras on us in case we got stuck or something
Great evening! Wonderful staff! Loved the room!!!!
This was so much fun!!!! My son was visiting from out of town, and we had a blast! Can't recommend it highly enough.
It was a blast!!!!
Our group had a blast! Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was well planned. We escaped with only 3 minutes on the clock. It was a great group activity and I will definitely plan to do it again!
Groovy atmosphere and engaging game. A little basic and intuitive but not difficult.
Had potential...very misleading and a few clues were not marked well. Great price and happy that their was a military discount.
We didn't escape this time. Hope to go back again.
Paid over $200 and it only lasted 28 min. Wasn’t worth it. Our softball team thought it was way too easy. Wasn’t a good bang for your buck. Wouldn’t do it again. Asked if they could do a different room since we paid so much and they refused. Therefore not a great experience.
This was so much fun we did the tomb I really thought we weren’t going to get out it was really challenging but so much fun loved it Definitely will try the other rooms
Fun and challenging room escape venue; good option in the Moore area.
