This was the first time my family and me went to Chisholm trail park and it was a great experience for the whole family. The lights are absolutely amazing. The time and work put into the light displays are just tremendous. My kids really enjoyed the lights and the polar express train ride. I highly recommend and will go back next year.

This is a beautiful park, it is well maintained. They have lovely trails and bathrooms that are clean and stocked. I would definitely return here and would recommend it if you are nearby.

This park is great. I've been going here since I was in elementary school. It's nice and clean. Great area for kids and also had a nice walking trail up and around the hill. The Christmas lights in the winter are fantastic, definitely not something you would want to miss.

This place is so much fun. My four-year-old daughter has loved it since she was two. They have a little baby park for the really little ones and there are just a lot of fun things to run through, over, and under. There are different types of slides and little swinging bridges and a tiny little house. The pond with ducks in the turtles is a huge hit, too.

I love taking turtles I save from the road here. It's beautifully landscaped has water what more could a turtle ask for. Having kids that can go to the play ground or play some basketball while I walk the park is the best of both worlds. Thank you Chisholm Trail Park for making my family's experience a good one.

Nice park. Decent pond for kiddos to feed the ducks or geese (mean as hell). Public pool with diving board. Two beach volleyball courts that could use more room around boundaries. Pretty good playground areas. Thise odd shaped basketball goals that were pretty full. Looked like a ton of people still play Pokemon and were all over the place. Large hill on the north east side of park to run/work out on.

City has done excellent in taking what once was an empty field and turning it into a park where all are welcome. Great walking paths. Benches to rest on. Lighting in the evening. Activities throughout the year. For those not from Yukon.....a great surprise if you see it from the skies!

The park has plenty to do from the walking trails to fishing. Letting the kids play on the playground equipment or going to the Community Center. Concerts & movie nights on Thursdays in the Sunmer. And "Christmas in the park" in the winter. Volleyball court, baseball and football field. Good place to play Pokemon Go!

Nice Christmas lights, you can park and walk, but you'd have to drive everything you just walked again to get out. Parking at homeland is better. It's a bit of a walk to the park from there, but better than waiting in line all night, looking at lights you've already seen.

We always come for the Christmas Light drive in the park. It's fun, but always the same and the traffic is horrendous. I wish there was a better way to manage traffic. And it'd be fun to see new lights once in awhile instead of the contributors using the same ones they've used for a decade.

We attend as a family the Freedom Festival over Independence Day. Every year more advancements have been made to the park. The atmosphere is kind and friendly despite the various types of people present. I have never heard of an altercation at the event. The police have a presence, but it's understated. The beautiful trails and water features, and the big hill, add variety as we wait for the music and then fireworks to begin. Nothing is spared for the fireworks show. It's grand! It's truly a community event. Can't wait to return!

We attended the Yukon freedom fest and had a blast at this park! My daughter loved the playgrounds. She is 3 years old. The park is very well kept and has nice walking trails. The fountains and ponds are lovely to sit by and relax next to.

Pros: The park is well kept. It has a walking path. It has some lighting at night. The ponds and fountains are nice. Cons: Some areas are not lit at night. At night it is not always the safest place to be. There is a public bathroom that remains locked.

So much to see!! It was worth the drive and wait in the long line of cars. There were two parks one on the south side entrance and one on the north side entrance. They have train rides and you can get out and walk the grounds. So beautiful!

Beautiful, easy to find, nicely landscaped. Lots of open areas so it's safer for women to go exercising. The light show for Christmas is fun and there's an inexpensive train ride for kids with lots of fun photo ops.

Huge park with great facilities, relatively clean bathrooms, and really awesome play equipment for kids. Wanna host a cookout but don’t have enough room? Call and book a pavilion. Also the Christmas lights every year are very fun! Only downside is the inevitable traffic it brings.

Very nice park with a big playground and a smaller playground. Nice volleyball court, basketball area, pond to fish at, and walking trails! During the summer, they have concerts in the park. Perfect place to take the family! The 4th of July fireworks display is one of the best I've seen! Amazing Christmas lights perfect for driving or walking through too.

Went here for the Christmas lights a few times this past year. It's a fantastic display that they put on. There's even a little paid train ride you can take through the park. It's super busy though and the traffic to get to the park is insane. It is well worth the headache though.

I adore this park! There are 2 playgrounds; one is for the tots and the other for the bigger kids. There's a sand pit and bike trails. During Christmas time, there is a stunning display of Christmas lights and train rides for the kiddos! There's ponds and so opportunities to feed the duckies and geese! Definitely one of my favorite parks to spend some outdoor time!

When i went for the 4th of July celebration the fireworks were raining down on us and it was scary but i thought it was very cool, parents were sketched out but i liked it. Wish i would've fished and then stayed for the fireworks but didn't think about fishing.
