After a long week of working it was nice to get out and see a bit of the Downtown area of OKC. For a small city compared to my hometown, DFW, it was pretty nice. We enjoyed the Canal Water Taxi ride and eating a great meal at Bourbon Street Cafe.

Cool little park with extensive LARGE metal sculptures illustrating tidbits of the history of the American southwest. Smooth wide path, easy to walk, very accessible. No toilets that I saw. The canals also give boat tours!

It is absolutely wonderful down here, especially during the Christmas season and at night. It is really decorated beautifully for Christmas. So peaceful to make the walk or ride the boat down the canal.

This is a nice walk from Bricktown. The landscape is very nice. The river is very dirty looking but it looks spectacular. This is a nice walk after your dinner or lunch at Bricktown.

Great place! My big family went to Brickopolis, river taxi, then lazer tag they also played arcadia games. We also enjoyed the buffet which could've had hotter food, but the kiddos loved it! You have SO many things to do. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE! FUN FOR EVERYONE..

I love this place and have been coming here since I was a child. there is so much to do right around the entrance to canal plus it has several stops throughout. great place for the family or just a nice relaxing cruise. really great fun for all ages. I cant wait to go back for many years to come and see the many more projects Oklahoma city is bringing.

Bricktown canal is a short nice walk with a couple of nice places to stop and take a picture. They do a great job making it very pretty especially at Christmas time. There is a mini golf course that's fun and several restaurants. I recommend Yucatan if you like Mexican food and margaritas.

This sadly has become pretty disappointing. Aside from the part near the arcade there is really nothing else to look at or see. I have visited the river walk on and off over the last 15 years. I do not recommend it no longer. When going east on the walk from the arcade there are very few restaurants or bars left. They are boarded up and kept unclean by the city. If you travel south of the arcade there are a few neat and original spots to stop in for a drink or a bite. But most of it is chains that you can experience anywhere. Most of the restaurants that are left are worn out and desperately need a remodel.The Riverwalk is dirty and filled with homeless, evangelists,entertainers, and religious protests (all who are aggressive when approaching folks) all wanting something or trying to hand you some type of brochure. Save your time and money explore the boat house district or others areas of the city. I do suggest seeing a minor league game if they are playing. Keep in mind I travel a lot. So Bricktown OKC isn't a trip to the city for me like it could be for others living in rural surrounding areas. I know there is more out there and Bricktown could be better. But it might be a fully different experience for you.

Romantic walks along this park is so nice. There are nice paths to follow and the scenery is amazing. I love looking at the waterway throughout the walk. It is such a peaceful environment. Day or night it's fun to visit and take a nice walk around.

Fun place. Mini golf, laser tag, a winery with FREE wine tastings, Put a Cork In It (so cheeky, gotta love it!). Something is here for the whole family. Restaurants, a movie theater, minor league ballpark, and Bass Pro Shops all within walking distance, as well as Starbucks and the National Banjo museum and live music.

Always a pleasant place to spend time. Nice atmosphere. The only negative is that every time I go I seem to see at least one panhandler (which makes me feel unsafe). I tried calling the downtown police to find out if that is illegal and to see if they would do something about it but I got no answer and ended up having to leave a message. Which they never returned.

It's a lovely walk. Need to clean the goose and duck droppings more often. It would be nice to have benches along the waterway for those who need a bit of a rest. It would be nicer to have walkways to more of the restaurants along the waterway, too.

The crowds were fun The drinks were a bit pricey, but on point for what you would expect of a tourist destination. We went ahead and paid for the all day pass on the Water Taxi while we were there and it was definitely worth the money spent! you can actually make a whole weekend of this particular destination with the Federal Building the Botanical Gardens and then injure evenings downtown in Bricktown with the River Walk restaurants and bars. we were lucky enough to catch a lot of the live music from a variety of artists and all of them were fantastic. If you're looking for a great weekend getaway this one fits the bill.

Awesome place to spend a day in okc. They have lots of places to eat and unique shops. I enjoyed renting a scooter and exploring the area. Bricktown is also a very dog friendly area so bring your pets down I have even seen restaurants that allow them in! Overall a good experience in the area!

Unless you go at night time or during a sporting event, the atmosphere is completely dead and uneventful. Also caution, the bored local sheriff department patrolling the area as security likes to complain to pet owners for walking around the area because "the dogs scare the ducks away from the shade and into the water where they may get hit by a boat" (boat going maybe 1mph and plenty of other areas for shade along the river) If you're looking to be bothered by some bored sheriff protecting the Sonic restaurant... Then this is the place for you.

What a fun place. Rode the Lime scooters at night and explored a bit. Lots of great history, bars and restaurants. A lot of people hang there in the summer nights so if you're a visitor from out of town this is a nice spot to relax and to mingle. The police presence makes it feel even safer!

My husband and I love the River Walk. We have had many date nights here and after a yummy dinner at one of the many restaurants we walk it off along the river. We have also taken the boat rides and loved it! It is really great to take it at Christmas and see the wonderful lights. We have always felt safe, but I am not sure that I would go alone. We love the shops and various things that you can do along the river and would recommend it to anyone wanting a great date night. I have also been for the diabetes walk and had a great time! This is a wonderful place to walk! If I lived closer I would love to bring my dog here and do our walk! So yes it is dog friendly if you have a well behaved dog, but please don't ruin it for the rest of us and clean up after your dog! Come and walk along the river!

Beautiful place. Great places to eat. The walkway needed a little maintenance. A few stones had come up out of the pavement. Trip hazard. Plants also need trimmed off the walkway Overall if they do a little maintenance and they probably will if they read this, I will give it 5 stars.
