Found this water park on google. Glad I decided to visited with family and friends. Prices are reasonable and although park is not big it had enough amenities to keep little ones entertained. Like some of the other reviews suggests, you should plan to arrive early to opening so that you enter as soon as they open. The shaded cabanas fill up pretty quickly. Overall i would attend here again with my family.

Went there with my 9-year-old son. It was very reasonably priced. Plenty of seating for the weekday we went. I would imagine it's a lot tighter on the weekends. It has three moderate size slides. A small lazy river. A water park playground for the kiddies, and an Olympic size pool. I thought it was cool that they make the kids pass a swimming test before they can get in the large pool. Of course there's no outside food or drink. There is a concession stand that has a pretty decent selection. Priced as you would expect, but the food that we got was very good. Considering it's less than 40 minutes up the road from me, and you'd probably spend as much as the movies for about a 2 hours of sitting in the theater vs. all day of fun in the sun... We will be going back.

Worth every penny. Me and my children had a blast. They have a sneak bar, food is good. Toddler area and slide for bigger kids. The park is on the smaller size but reasonable price for a great day of water fun.

First time going. One of the pool was closed (the therapeutic one, whatever that was) but still good park for the price. Didn't try the slides, mostly cause I didn't want to do the line. But they seem nice as well... the lazy river was good and they were no line to wait in, or very little one compare to the number of people in there. Didn't try the food, or gift store so I don't know about the prices for that. Wish they had more chairs cause none were free thought... Parking lot was full also. If needed lockers work with a lock. Only bad point was the toilets, showers, cabins. Showers in ladies side had all broken curtains and no hook for clothes in the cabins... toilets messed up with paper on the floor when we left. Clean when we arrived thought (around 2pm)

No credit cards accepted today...only way we knew this was by a customer walking down the long wait line telling people. No one from the park was telling anyone. I would have hated to wait in a 20 minute line only to see a sign hanging on the window that you were only accepting cash. Otherwise it was a nice day at the park. My grandsons first visit.

I went today 7/13 with 4 children. The day was awesome until my step son came crying to me holding his mouth. He told me, the female life guard was rushing him with an attitude n without his consent she pushed him with her feet n he slid off n busted his mouth on the border of the slide. A lady approached me n told me she seen the life guard "kick" him. As the other life guard walked down, I called her n with a smile on her face she looked at me, ignored me n kept on. I just wanted to blow up on them both. I didn't even waste my time reporting them. I just packed up n left. But NEVER AGAIN!!! I RATHER SPEND MY MONEY SOME PLACE ELSE!...Cuz im not responsible for my acts if I see them again honestly.

Me and my girlfriend went there the other day and we had a lot of fun till we went into the pool. There were a few couples in there and like most couples they put there arm around there girlfriend but nothing was said to them. But when I put my arm around my girlfriend I was told to stop. So we got out of the pool but later decided to get back in thinking they wouldn’t notice if I put my arm around her again. But the second I did they said something and I looked around and saw multiple couples doing the same thing but nothing was said to them. I like showed them and all they said was this is a family pool. I told a manager and he talked down to me like I’m an idiot. I also told him that my girlfriend can’t swim so he said she couldn’t go in there without floaties her arms. Which to me would be pretty embarrassing for an adult to do. So we left early and we are never going back. I don’t suggest going with your boyfriend or girlfriend. Nobody said anything to us anywhere else but at the pool about me putting my arm around her. I don’t see how putting your arm around your girlfriend could affect anybody or be inappropriate to do in front of a kid.

My 9 year old autistic boy was harrasment by a life gurard names Adam. You can't miss him long hair tatoots and dirty looking. My son is afrait to lie back in the tunes so he sits with his feet up. I am with him at all times. Well Adam and his controller trip blew his wistke at my son who did nir respond as a normal kid. He got so mean tgat I had to step in. Momma bear came out and i call him a mousehole. Well cry baby went back and told managers who were a joke that would be Lauren and big beard dave. No sympathy there. Going to escort us out by park ranger and he gave me number to director. And Tony your Trump comment was uncalled for but would make a better call. Autisim awarness. People are so jaded.

This place was so unsafe today. There were way too many day camps allowed in, and not enough guards to supervise. After demanding either a paycheck or a guard to come relieve me stat, I finally ened up taking position at the top of a play structure (with my baby on my hip) to prevent further kids being trampled. Other parents then began to rally, guarding at the bottom of the slides. When someome finally came to relieve me about 10 minutes later, I went to the office to voice my concerns with other parents. The manager admitted they did not have enough guards on staff for the amount of day camps that arrived. I told them I would have rather them refuse my money and tell me that they are at capacity than make me falsly believe this was a safe place to bring my young family.

Not my favorite waterpark. Small and overpriced, have to wait forever for floats, it seems every time I've been at least on of the slides are down, and sometimes the water isn't on in the kid section. My kids are usually bored after a couple hours. I guess I've just had the experience of visiting other waterparks that are much more enjoyable and worth the trip/money.

Rented for a birthday party. No lifeguards at the kiddie area kids were landing on top or each other going down slides very knocked over. When we booked party we’re told it was open until 8 only open till 530 on a Saturday so multiple of our guest weren’t able to enjoy anything with them working.. I pre ordered pizzas for the birthday and they sold them! Rented a hut which we had to wait to get into!!! Very in organized half the staff didn’t know what they were doing!! Definitely will not be returning I’d rather drive the distance to Wilmington’s water park and they have a lot more to offer!!

Awesome waterpark...for all ages!!! Multiple areas to choose from...whether you are a parent with a baby or you are a teenager with friends or you are an adult wanting to take a swim in a pool...lazy river for everyone is great!!! Prices on food and drinks at concession stand were reasonable. They offer life jacket s...you cant bring in your own float or anything!!!

Three water slides, a lazy river, and spots for the littles to play. The food was good, the areas were clean. We would definitely come back if we lived in the area. We did not visit the big pool, but there were several people enjoying it. There are also life vests available for those that want them.

I was kinda skeptical about this place cuz of the reviews, but I think it's a pretty good place , only thing was they don't let me bring my floating noodle inside, but I enjoyed it. My visit on saturday, after 12 and did not wait in line for more than 5min, me and 4kids, and my 7 Mon old baby payed, $60.

Edit as of 7/30/19, once again... One slide down today, major inconvenience. Make your guest aware before paying!! Save your money and go to Salty Pirate. I think you need to make guest aware at the gate if whole park will be available for use. The big pool was closed for over two hours (yesterday). It was finally opened but the deep end was still restricted! Not fun for us paying adults. If I go again, I will ask if all is working, at the gate.

It can get pretty packed but if there's lines, they move pretty quick. A couple large watersides, kids play area, lazy river, pool for laps, lifeguards on duty, life jackets, snack bar, $10 a person. They open around memorial day but the lap and aquatics pool is available for use.

It was okay the only thing I had a problem with was with one of the employees,she told my friend she was showing to much and she had to cover up with shorts the bathing suit was fine.next was the lazy river,u cant put your feet down u have to put your feet on the float maybe they can change that rule.

It was quite a fun experience, especially with my friends. I suggest going with a group. The attendants and lifesavers always stick to the rules. So there's no need in fretting that you're gonna drown. They have set up a mandatory swimming test to allow you to swim in the pool. Overall, this is a great place.

It's a nice and affordable park. The only issue I had was once you come in you can't go back out or you will have to pay an additional entrance fee. Which really sucked when we accidentally left my nephews formula in the car.

DO NOT GO! My 10 yr old sister got in the pool and was told she needed a swim test. She passed her test and the lifeguard said she did not pass. This escalated to speaking with the managers. Which didnt go far because they did not understand. Bullshit park. I would have given no stars if i could, shit.

Came for the first time yesterday, our bags were INSPECTED for foods and drinks!!! They serve nothing to accommodate those who eat healthy by choice or because they will get sick. So we left after two hours. Paid 15 a person. The staff chew the kids out to get out of the water before they can even fully rise from the slide. Very micromanaged! Go to jungle rapids in Wilmington, it does cost more but you get what you pay for. You can bring your own food too!

I have been here multiple times and it has been so much fun! They have a pool, big water slides and a lazy river! They have multiple lifeguards to make sure everybody is okay! It is only a 30 minute drive so we can com here often!

I went there with my 11 year old daughter and she went to the pool and got In. she ask to get in the deep end and she took the swim test .she said she passed. then the lifeguard went of duty and another lifeguard came and she say can you take the swim test.My daughter said that already took with the other So she goes looking for her and I guess she asked .so she came back to ask Her right in the spot to put on the Life jacket Even though my daughter already took the swim test.

I went with my 3 kids and my husband. We got a membership so that we can go numerous times this summer. The staff was very helpful. They had my husband go and fill out the application and then walked me and my kids to some lounge chairs so they could start playing. I use a walker and had no problems getting around the park. There was a little mix up when I sent my son with money to get mini corn dogs, but once my husband went up to find out what was going on, The same gentleman that helped me and the kids get to our chairs got The money back for my husband, and got the kids snowcones for their troubles! The kids had lots of fun and we can't wait to go back.

My bonus daughter and I had a blast! The only reason I didn't give this five stars was because of the life-vest for her weight were older and had lost their buoyancy. Otherwise the wait wasn't terrible to get it, to find the a shaded spot was easy the pools and restrooms were clean and lots of lifeguards on duty!

Have been going to this water park since it opened. Was very disappointed today that my bags for were searched for outside food and drinks. My sister who brought a packed lunch to save money had to return her lunch to car so she could purchase only food from the concession stand. This is unjustly. Families come and bring their children to enjoy the park and which is costly if you have alot of little ones without the cost of feeding them and providing them drinks. Also I found the pools dirty...bamboo umbrellas falling apart many fountains in lazy river broken and animals like the lion at entrance doesn't work as monkey and other animal sounds.bathrooms so nasty. Some tiolets without tiolet paper. Floor in bathroom should have a slip proof ..gem free type rubber runner. Overall...im sorry for the bad review but going through my bag for contraband food and drinks was my limit. A plus...food stand food was much better. But people with with a bunch of kids cannot afford that concession stand. You will lose more money in the long run. Idea... Have concession stand run deals...Tuesday...free dollar ice cream cup with purchase of a slice of pizza....Wed...3 dollars off a purchase of a whole pizza?? I know they are wanting to make money also. I hope my review brings some changes.

This place needs some serious updates half of the water features on the lazy river don't work at all and the rest don't work 100%. Slides are so old and sun bleached. Kiddie area features don't work correctly. More shaded seating would definitely be a plus!

The kids love it! It can be crowded at times but still pretty fun. You can't bring outside food in though, so we pack a cooler and eat in the car or the nature center when we're done. The sprinklers don't really work anymore in the lazy river, but it's still relaxing. Maybe they'll update or fix some things by the next year.

Do not recommend this place AT ALL. Due to west water park closing, we decided to try this place out for the first time today. We have a small child who is 5 months old. Me and her father had her in one pool IN HER FLOAT with us both playing with her and we were told it was a pool for people over 18. REALLY!? I’m 23 he’s 25. I get we had our baby but it’s the only thing we could really do with her considering she’s too small for the slides and the lazy river

Disappointed have been here twice for granddaughters bday party food is good but overpriced, pay 300$ and if thunder is heard even from a distance it's a 30 minute wait, its ridiculous never heard of a 30 minute wait 10 to 15 would be plenty, the park is only open for 5 hours and u lose half hr every thunder and they close for inclement weather even though on radar nothing is in immediate area. Sad it's a nice park great for all ages but their rain policy needs adjusted closed at 430 our second visit so we paid 300$ for a 1 hour air conditioned cabana rental free drinks for the kids and 10 people admission wont be a 3rd party here. When they closed on us early they rushed us out like they had better things to do..

My family and I enjoyed the waterpark. Did not appreciate how some of the employees treated us like criminals. My nephew 2yr old nephew and 11 yr old cousin were playing with his ball, they come running over like we were trying to sneak people in. This being our first visit my mom didnt know the rules so she packed a picnic lunch. Instead of calmly coming over and letting her know they tried to make a big deal about it. For the most part a majority of the employees were very nice.

OK before I give my review Theses are the must knows you can't bring in no food, make sure you take down all the clothes and towels you can leave once you've gone in period and there are lockers there make sure to bring your own lock or you can buy one there .... It's small but fun some of the lifeguards are jerks but they make them dance all day while others laugh it's very funny so give them a break there is 3 water slides make sure to keep your legs crossed or your landing will be a bit painful there's a main pool and an adult pool only difference is the adult pool is heated

A friend & I visited the park this past Saturday with our kids age 1,4,&5. As we are walking up to the ticket booth it had started drizzling. I asked the receptionist about the policy on rain and she informed me that they do not close even if it do rain. She proceeds to say that on the occasion of thundering & lightning, everyone will have to exit the pool for 30 minutes and after the last thunder is heard everyone can get back in. My friend & I then pay for our tickets and head over to the locker room to change, it is still drizzling at this point. We change our clothes & head back to the water area & as we are placing our stuff down to get in the water, the lifeguards blow their whistle. I first thought it was just a 10 minute break, then later realize it was because they heard thunder. After sitting for 45 ish minutes we realize everyone is leaving & they are not letting us back in. I go back up to the receptionist to see the policy of refunds/rain checks she informs me & point to the sign in the window stating that they don’t do refunds or rain checks. She did say I could speak with her manger that she pointed out a mile away but I did not because I knew she would just say the same thing. So we gather our stuff up to leave and get something to eat we left for about an hour came back they still weren’t letting people in. We drove over an hour and a half away just to come here, for them to take our money and we didn’t even get a single drop of water on us except for the rain. My daughter and friend son cried their eyes out. They were very hurt and I was extremely mad. A freaking waste of money and wish it was someone I could talk to about this

Great relaxing local water park. Grandchildren had a blast. Need to have more bathroom walkthroughs. Bathrooms looked like they were watered heavily with little to no cleaning. They was standing water in the men's room. Couldn't tell if it had been cleaned or just tried to literally wash it clean with way too much water.

Employees were high while working, they had a girl with a messed up leg on duty as a lifeguard (causing her to be incapable of helping people), management shows a ton of favoritism & is horrible towards the employees they don't favor. On off days, employees send people out of pools saying its closed & openly tell others it's just because they didn't feel like doing their job for a bit.

Great place for a cheap, and quick splash. It can get a bit crowded quickly but the enjoyment is still available.

Great place for kids. 3 big slides and a kiddie pool with smaller slides. Lifeguards everywhere. The food was expensive and not that great but at least they had a decent selection. Lockers available but bring your own lock or buy one in the gift shop. They have family restrooms as well as male/female with showers inside. I've been back 3 times this week. It's our new favorite spot.

Since it's the only one around I could find, it was ok. Way too pricey though, for what is actually there....seems like if you live in Pitt County the price could be like $8, higher price otherwise. Senior prices also -- seniors are not the ones using the slides etc but need to be there if we're supervising our grand-kids. I saw 2 slides but don't know where a 3rd one is it says they have. Definitely needs more stuff -- like a WAVE POOL. And a dedicated drink tiki type bar would be wonderful -- non alcoholic of course, but some slushie kind of drinks would be good. Will go back again, but would like to see some changes - especially in price structure.

Way overpriced and overcrowded. Friendly workers though. If your kids are young enough to enjoy it, go instead a half mile down the street to the splash pad that costs one dollar per person.

What a fun time. I went with people I work for and staff. The place was clean, everyone seemed to have a great time. Was there about 1 1/2 hours and there was alot to do besides swim, there was slides, lazy river and kids splash area. I will ne returning with my family.
