This Park belongs to the category of Park.
Pretty, mini park w/fountain.
Relax park Beautifull flowers seat available recommend
Battery Park Is Nice, Also Ferry Boat To Staten Island.
Great place to chill for children here and elder senior member
Excellent time we had here.
Nice park near the Charging bull. No restroom onsite.
Nice place. Very relaxing. Quiet and laid back with your man or significant other.
Great park to take a lunch in wood chairs
I found this place fascinating. All the people traffic, the history involved etc. Although I grew up in N. Y., I never had a chance to get to know it. As a tourist, I really loved. Transportation, restaurants etc;all close by. I would recommend this to everybody. Go for a walk and enjoy.
It's a nice park to sit and enjoy NYC, and is near to ox statue.
Nice small park in front of the National Archives.
Nice and pretty. You can enjoy your lunch here. Or just walk around.
Enjoyable green space in NYC
I love Bowling Green Park it's so Unified in every way
A small but great park in lower manhattan. Valuable for its history. First public park in New York City. You will also find in Bowling Green the charging bull and the Museum of the American Indian. Free admission! The statue of The fearless girl as also at Bowling Green, but had been relocated to Wal street in front of the New York Stock exchange. The 4, 5 and 6 train lines (green line) all stop at the Bowling Green train station. Don't forget to look up its history which says back to 1733 and is still surrounded by its original fence.
Good place for a quick break
Iconic NYC park downtown just before you get to the bull.
A quiet respite in the middle of a crazy location
Access too many options too get throughout the city, this place is also equipped beautiful views as well. It's not a focal point of NYC destinations but it will bring you close to many that are. Such as financial district, NYSE, the bull, Ferry to Staten island, Governors island, Ellis island and the Statue of Liberty. The list is endless.
Beautiful ❤️
Bull is the symbol of prosperity and growth. Wall Street bull gives lot of happiness. Talk a photo with the bull and be part of growth!
Great green area with view of charging bull to the north and US customs house in the South ,place is well keep historic site the original fence there the seat great for grab lunch and break here in the middle of busy crowded financial district
Love the lilies that are planted every spring. Cool shade trees.
It is a beautiful area, the park is interesting, except for the water fountain that was too filthy, they should clean it up at least once a month.
Good place to chill and clear your mind
A great historical part of New Amsterdam/New York, though unlike its historic self what with subway entrances, ads, and modernity within the space.
Really nice place to spend the afternoon
Great park to take a break.
Love eating lunch here during the week. Beautiful fountain
Nice little park next to Charging Bull
A bit nosisy but nice
Great place to sit and read a book amongst a diverse array of typical and not so typical New Yorkers
A nice park to jug and sit down eata icecream, great views to the statue of liberty , abundance vegetation, but it looks like stills in construction.
Bowling Green is a small park near Battery Park where you might take a rest and enjoy the scenery and do some people watching. It is surrounded by the high-rises of Downtown Manhattan and you can feel the vib of the financial district, including hearing the cars on Broadway. A little piece of quietness in the middle of the hectic life in this part of the city. It is the oldest park in MYC by the way. I enjoyed it.
Bowling Green park is frequented by people that work in area and visitors that are waiting to take pictures with the famous bull sculpture. It is clean and has a lot seating but is full during the lunch crush. It's a great place to have a quick lunch.
Great place to visit! Many historical sites in the park and vicinity. Family friendly moderate to heavy crowds depending upon day and time. Just try not to be annoyed by artists attempting to get you in their chairs for a sketch.
Hot summer day, best breeze passes here. So I would say is a great place to sit down and cool if and see the busy city move. Also for some reason there is always seats available, as if people don't know you can take a seat inside the park. Also it's nice to see the crowds from far near the bull statute. A nice seat surrounded by buildings.
A wonderful quiet place where you can take a walk and relax with the whole family. Many benches, in the center there is a beautiful fountain
Small park which is right in front of One Bowling Green. There's a fountain in the middle of it. Frankly, there are a lot of homeless folks all over the benches. It's also very noisy due to tourists and traffic on both sides of the park and the 4&5 trains running underneath. You'd be better off crossing the street and going to Battery Park.
It cracks me up reading reviews of the oldest New York City sites written by tourists and Bowling Green is a great example. It is not just a park folks (and not just the waiting area for those taking pictures of "The Wall Street Bull"
Just what you need among so many tall buildings
Nice place to sit and relax with awesome view
So much to do during the day. Ferries, financial district and fun shopping or dinner nearby
One of the famous places to visit in New York. Very beautiful But very crowded
Its okay kind of difficult to understand the directions. Google maps was a bit helpful and a little confusing. I recommend following the colors.
Good for drink a cup of caffe outside.
Nice place to relax near charging bull, during your walk tour of Manhattan down town.
Beautiful place to visit and spend some time
Love to see some green and a place to relax in a city of concrete, and buildings.
Nice area of Manhattan to visit...great architecture and history. Not a lot of food choices.
Neat place Lots going on while while we were visiting. Fun experience.
A small Oasis in Downtown manhattan. They say some of the fence dates back to the American revolution, and the top design was cut off because they were symbols of the king. Today you see a pleasant mix of people enjoying coffee some shades a a break before rushing back to busy nyc life.
Hub of all activity...The Bull, Wall St, The Stock Exchange, Trinity Church, Staten and Governors Island ferries
Nice park and organic farmers market on Tuesday and Thursday
Beauty of this place is this is the center of Manhattan downtown and it has fountain ⛲️ and the statue of changing bull! Walking from wall street and have a pleasant site !
I work near by and always pass by, the area is nice and yoy have access to the subway 4,5 and 6 trains
Beautiful view of Staute of Liberty and plenty of area to sit
It's always good to have a green space, one that's convenient for a break, and meeting up with friends.
We were there in June and after visiting the Statue of Liberty, in the heat, Bowling Green is a nice little park with bench to sit and relax, and big trees to provide shade. It is right behind the bull in the financial district.
Nice park near the water in downtown Manhattan and it's right next to the famous bull, there is a fountain in the park
Hardship if you coming from work lots of tourist they allowed bikes animals drinking should have more than one boat coming in at a time always overcrowded have patience when riding a lot of people are from other countries and have a tourist mentailty and are not from nyc behaviour are not always respectful kids running wild on sits etc
Between the wall street 'Bull', & the old custom house at the beginning of Broadway. Please read the plaques on the fence, one of NYC's oldest historic sites.
Must visit spot in NYC. Touch the ball wish good luck and good fortune and bring wealth!
A must visit place in NYC. It's very iconic and is very good place for photography. Visit this in summer as the winter here spoils the fountain.
Nice park where you can see statue of Liberty and waterfront. Oh and there is fort. I guess.......
Great green space in Manhattan to take a break or eat lunch!
Quiet place to collect your thoughts
Amazing place. Crowded on weekends.
Is the Place where u reach for statue of liberty ferry.
Love the area but weird people
Small nice park right in the middle of the financial district.
It's a beautiful & busy place...there's even a restaurant on the grounds towards the end of the park going into the direction of the Staten island ferry...I never knew of it until yesterday what the building was. There's also a old time Pirates vessel tied down on the docks of the edge of the park facing the port toward facing outwards in the direction of The Statue of liberty.
So historic. A beautiful city park
Nice place to sit and do you
It is small park but eye catching. This is where famous broad way street starts.
Nice place to sit and relax on a hot day after long walk.
Nice open space...pack a lunch and go!
Perfect spot to have a break in the busy area of New York City
Nice place to walk around.
It should be cleaner but it is a nice place to visit
Was at a MTG no far away, then walked to Battery Park, it was a nice day.
I liked it cause it gave me nice aesthetics....
Great place to visit. Not to far from the Statue of Liberty, Battery Park, Staten Island Ferry, and Wall Street.
A pleasant urban Oasis with a fountain, and as it has been such for 286 years, give or take, who would I be to say different? If I were to knock off a star it would be because for the paltry number of decades I have known it, being human and a mere mayfly to such longevity, it ALWAYS has puddles inside both gates when it rains which are hard to skirt.
It was a nice place to rest after a long walk.
Nice place to visit.
Not far from Battery Park. Good place to spend an afternoon on a nice day.
Another neat park for a sit down. Get an ice cream nearby and the find a seat to enjoy a relaxing break.
Nice place to visit the 'lady'.
Beautiful area and the bull is very close
beautiful flowers and very quiet and peaceful. an amazing place to sit and read, paint, or write.
Place is beautiful as a star to see the financial district, you also have the bull good place for pictures.
This is where capitalism and crazy converge to form the rest of Manhattan.
It's a pretty good park. I love the little forts. They've made this park so much nicer than it used to be so I'm really happy for that.
Historic place. Tourists like me, live it. No bull!
one of the last ones in the city. Super well stocked with books, dvds, Starbucks, collectables, music, magazines, study guides, and reference books. Great staff and usual bargan section.
Always something interesting here, especially for tourists. Loud, vibrant, busy, crowded.
It is beautiful, but I didn't get a chance to look around.
Great hangout...kids enjoy the walk and scenario
I hadn't been to this part of New York in years but I forgot how beautiful many of the parks are especially this one particularly during the height of fall. This is a nice green oasis in the middle of New York's Financial district and better known for its proximity to Wall Street's 'Charging Bull' and the Staten Island Ferry. Great area to walk around and get 'lost' for awhile.
A nice area, however too many people just ti get a simple photo. Choose well the time to get there.
Fun place and a must see.
Neat park square/oasus in heart of the downtown
Good memories are held here from volunteering after 9-11.
Gorgeously marvelous, New York City is breathtaking
Great place to hangout with the family
Love thw tribute
Nice little park..oasis of relax in the rush of financial district
The oldest Park in New York City. Yes the Dutch used to Bowl here. It was also pastureland. The fence in the park dates back to revolutionary days. When there was a statue of King George in it. When the Declaration of Independence was announced, Patriots in the city tore down the statue and since it was made of lead it was melted down into musket balls. The fence had crowns on the tops of the gate posts. Patriots cut them off. CHECK THIS PARK OUT IN EARLY SPRING WHEN THE FLOWER BEDS AROUND THE FOUNTAIN ARE FILLED WITH RED TULIPS. BEAUTIFUL!!
Nice Park with tap water for bottles
Nice place. Worth it if you happen to pass by. Not otherwise.
It was such a beautiful view to sit there and just relax. Enjoy your time and get some fresh air while you can. Life is too beautiful to sit around and do nothing at all. Go out and enjoy yourselves. People from all over look soooo happy walking around and exploring new things that they never seen before. Great vibes to be around.
It's nice historical park which can tell us the story of Manhattan under Dutch territory
Small but nice park! Gorgeous during the springtime, and very lovely during the Romanian Festival in May!
Nice park. Quiet and relaxing.
A small patch of nature that you can relax in.
Heir is the haert of Manhathan N.y.city energize please
It gets very crowded in financial district because a) a lot of people work here b) tourists stopping along their way to get pics of NYSE, the bull, etc. But I love it down there!
An oasis in the middle of the financial distric. Well maintained historic park. Flower beds are beautiful well kept. An amazong place to sit and relax after a long walk thru the financial district. Close to the American Indian Museum and the charging bull. A must go park.
Great View and beautiful park for walk in the mornings!
It was nice clesn & really busy
Pretty and good place to visit or stop and relax while you're walking around the city. Lots of people but not overly packed. Enough room to move around and let kids burn out some energy and take a break if needed.
Its a calm place to sit and relax. I just think they close too early.
Rich in history ... How can you not visit and explore your Beginnings.
The park sits in a great place. Great for relaxing in the middle of the city.
This is the center for the lower manhattan historic area, wall street district, battery park
Great place to see the statue of liberty
First stop in the city on the 5 train bright station lots 2 see outside this stop if you know where to look .but honestly all u have 2 do is exit the station & you will run into plenty 2 c & do well HISTORICALLY speaking atleast you can sure get a eye full outside in the vicinity for sure .
THIS IS NOT THE ONE YOU CAN SEE THE LIBERTY STATUE FROM! But very nice, the day was super cold so I couldn't enjoy much but the park was very clean!
Downtown Manhattan by Wall Street. Close to Staten Island Ferry. The first Church and Court House in Manhatten are around the corner on Water St. Close to 9/11 Memorial, Jewish Heritage Museum . Nice big park with views of Staten Island, NJ. Battery Park Gardens Restaraunt. Good food outside garden is great in Summer
Nothing special, people queuing to take pictures.
Nice place to just sit for a few minutes
Nice place...a little small but good
Great place to catch your breath
Great place near wall street. During our visit we got to see the bull unfortunately the girl had already been moved. The park is spacious and right near the water. Relaxing place to have lunch with good cart options.
Good place to relax.
Nice place to hang out during the lunch.
End of Manhattan. Sometimes market. Stores and restaurants. Ocean views. Battery park. Art vendors. Staten Island Ferry, free ride and good look at Statue of Liberty. Liberty Island Ferries to Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island.
Nice park to soak in NYC. You can sit at the park and have your lunch.
Great staff they greet the customers in the morning but the station need more AC Air inside the train station during the summer months.
Love these little NYC parks
Beautiful park. You can see the Statue of Liberty from here.
It looks very dangerous with those who are selling tickets for the tour bus.The complaint are mounting. They are robbing those tourists. This is not good for the tourists industry. I think NY city should take a look at the bus tour and regulate them.
Great park, well-maintained and historic. Close to many attractions in lower Manhattan and easily accessible by many subway lines. Very clean and safe. Take your photo with the famed Wall Street bull, a great NYC icon!
It's nice to have here and take a picture with charging bull
Go early in the day to get a good shot
I was on the subway. But this is a really nice station. And even outside the station there are lots of places you can visit if you're looking for the new york experience.
Lots of interesting & historical places near by.
Very busy and often alot of tourists which of course brings about a ton of individuals trying to obnoxiously sell you a trip to the statue of liberty
Very clean. Beautiful views. If you walk over and down to Bowling Green--. You see the Statue of Liberty.
Very good place to drink coffee and read newspaper in the mornings.
Near the charging bull. Nice place to sit and relax after exploring the wall street area.
Found it nice and quite on a busy day
It's a place of great relief from work. Built I. The downtown wall street space, this space is a treat to eyes. You will find a lot many people juggling , cycling and doing a lot many unique things. It's a place not to be missed out whenever you plan to visit the street and downtown area
Well cared, a nice place to rest after long walkaways in Manhattan!
Its really a nice area where you can take pictures with the bull, sit by the park or take ferries to the statue of the liberty or Staten island.
Nice escape from the city, especially considering the nearby density and many businesses vying for your Dollar. A park, that's free, and even has WiFi!
This is one of the nicest busiest park in the city as well known as it is I've never really stayed in the park I usually pass by the park or cut through the park they have public bathrooms here clean & well kept by the staff its loaded with vendors selling all kinds of things food included soda water hot dogs etc its usually crowded with people especially the tour buses that leave here loaded with people so there's a lot happening and there's always police around making sure everything is ok so it's a safe place to come too
