REVIEWS OF Crayola Experience IN New Jersey

Monica Gallon

My family and I really enjoyed this experience, it was very fun and so much to do for the whole family. Only thing that could of been better was having more staff, my 6yr old was getting very anxious waiting so long in line. Overall is was amazing and we're definitely going back before the year ends

Paul Rearden

Place was packed today and the facility was understaffed and the staff that were there could not be bothered. It's a shame, as the exhibits and such are very cool for little ones. Will go back on a non-holiday and expect a better experience.

Amie

This place was awesome. A definite must do of you're out that way with kids. Lots of interactive things for them to do. And the make your crayon wrapper was a nice little souvenir.

Nadezhda Ribot

Amazing place for kids to have fun, learn with different activities and you can bring some crayola and gifts as a souvenir.

Benson Michaud

The building was amazing and head everything for everyone. Plenty of activities to keep busy and a for Cafe to grab a bite to eat. The food isn't great at the cafe but it's convenient and does the job. Elevator access and a parking garage across the street. Get there early and start on the fourth floor. There's a play area for toddlers and a second play area for older kids so you can wear them out lol. I recommend it.

Fel Fer

It was decent. 2 floors. Not a bad place, about regular

Brian Walz

Lots to do for the little ones. 3-under get in free. Lots of freebies for the children to experience. The only two things you need to do is that you can price match in their gift shop and their food sucks. You can't leave the building and re-enter

Lang

Very educational place and can make a lots memory with kids when they are NOT BUSY!! There shop isnt cheap. Walmart crayola is cheaper i think.

Gyulnara Akhmedova

A great place to spend a day. Engaging and enough activities to keep the family engaged for 5-6 hours. Nice indoor climbing gym. Encasing your hand in wax is a nice souvenir of your visit. Very nice Crayola shop with a colorful crayon wall. Be prepared to see colors you’ve ever seen before. Create your own crayon (and label!) Buying tickets online before visiting gets you a few bucks off per ticket. Good nearby options for a family meal. Recommend!

Ayaz Hyder

Decent place to take your kids. There are different activities for them spread out over multiple floors. There is only one elevator inside the building though so if you can take stairs you should as that will save you a lot of time. There is a parking deck nearby with paid parking.

Valentine Benning

This place is cool, but pretty expensive for what it is.

Dario Toro

Big changed after renovated and environment as well. Looked much cleaner than years ago.

James Mahar

3 levels of interact activities promoting creativity at every turn. Give yourself 2-3 hours

Rona G

Great place for the family. Tons of activities. Only thing is we didn't have a map of all the floors so we missed some things. If you live close it's worth the membership if you have small children

Mo R.

It wasn't as fun as we thought it would be. Though creative, it was very limited. The Meltdown station is a bit harmful to children. The melting pens are a bit too warm for kids to hold. However, the animation area was enjoyed by my children.

Only thing that could of been better was having more staff, my 6yr old was getting very anxious waiting so long in line. Overall is was amazing and we're definitely going back before the year ends

Vaibhav Sharma

Almost perfect. So many activities to do inside. Good that we had seen a couple of videos beforehand to know what to expect. It was more than expected though. 4 floors. Cafeteria only on first floor. 2 play areas inside, one for 2-4 age group on 2nd floor, and another for older children on 3rd floor. Adults may also utilize the available activities to keep themselves busy. My wife and I enjoyed well doing sketching, water coloring etc. And the best part is that there are whole lot of souvenirs of all your activities (with no additional costs). You can bring with you whatever you created during the day.

alberto buzali

Good place for children. Too bad almost half of the entertaining spots, Nott working

Madelaine Leidy

It's interactive and fun for younger children. But we were there later in the day. The place was messy. Low on supplies and the bathrooms were a mess. Also my niece is deaf and she couldn't enjoy the show, because they only offer devices for hard of hearing individuals. Those who are totally deaf can't enjoy it. They need an interpreter or closed captioning service.

REBECCA HO

It is a very nice experience here. A great place to keep children of all ages, and adults amused and entertained. It’s also located downtown so after the museum, stick around to grab dinner! It is very interactive; Drip Art area, Melt and Mold area, and Meltdown area. There’s also a whole play area, a water area, a theater, activity studio, and so much more. For the price, it’s worth it to kill a good 6-8 hours here.

Jeffrey: Dad of three boys

This place far exceeded our expectations. There are so many activities for kids with things to take home with you. If you are anywhere near the area make it a point to spend a couple hours here. It is well worth the trip.

joanna bryant

Kids had a blast! So many activities for them to do! Gift shop prices weren't too bad either!

Sotiris Teddy Georgatselis

Eh.... It was a nice experience for the kids but very inefficiently run. Needlessly long lines for short activities. Not enough staff to accommodate the crowds.

meredith kendig

My daughter and I always have a blast here. So much stuff to do and they keep adding!! I love watching my daughter create stuff and have a good time. Double points for the indoor play area!

Mary Brossman

Lots of things to do, pictures you can take at the stations can be emailed to yourself for free, bunch of fun projects you can take home with you (also free). Gift shop was great, they even had a sign that said they price match merchandise. There's a two story climbing jungle gym with slide that my 5yo absolutely loved (took 20 minutes to get her away from it, haha.) Check Groupon for deals, everyone in line with me got tickets there, too!

Baluchitherium Neidkowski

Great place. Lots for the kids to do. Excellent for a rainy or hot day.

Travis Himes

This place was incredibly busy, Todd - the manager at the time, went out of his way when I asked a simple question and helped us not stand in a 30 minute line to get our pictures taken for our passes. I just wanted to say that we love this place, the kids love this place, and we'll be back a lot, I'm so happy we got the season pass, and if you see Todd, throw him a smile, that's one hard-working dude!

Cassandra Phenix

Its a beautiful hands on experience for children but I feel the space is too small for the amount they allow in. In addition, they don’t have attendants to monitor the toddler area, which when we went, was overrun with children who looked 8 and up. We left an hour and half later to find another place that wasn’t a hazard for a one year old to run around.

Crystal Pa

So. Much. Fun. Our 2 yo and 4 yo loved it. Groupon makes it affordable full day event. Food nearby is great. Nice town too.

Arijit Sarkar

Great fun place for kids. I went there with my 5-yr old and he enjoyed a lot. Even few activities were fun to me such as mini-boat play.

Justin Adams

Love this place. Lots to do. Affordable. Lots of activities included in admission plus some extra activities for a reasonable price. HUGE store that prices matches. Been a few times and each time we go, more added yet admisssion stays reasonable. Offers yearly passes which would be a great deal if we lived closer

Adriann Hardin

We visited on a Thursday. We had a great time and a lot of fun participating in the activities (grown ups too). To your patience, the place was a ZOO! There were about 10 - 12 daycamps/daycare groups. It was loud and nuts! It started to clear out about 3pm but it was still busy. The activities on the 4th floor have long lines (regardless of time) so start there 1st when you arrive - get there when it opens - and have fun!

Jazmin Rodriguez

This place was a wonderful experience for both my kids and I! There were a lot of hands on activities! And they had a yard and a play gym which was awesome! Its not pricey! I loved it!

Jessica Eichner

This place is poorly organized and only has about half the staff that seems necessary for as many children that were there. The extraordinary long lines are frustrating for children and a special kind of torture for adults. I will never go back.

Christopher Pauley

My little girls (2 & 4), had the most fun inside I have ever seen. Kudos to Crayola for giving teachers free admission.

mona yebra

This is a nice place if you have little children..They get to do lots of different activities for kids..its still lots of fun..but go in the morning because its gets full of small children with daycares, school etc...even we enjoyed doing our own crayola with our names on it...loved it11

Danny Then

I really dislike giving negative reviews but I had to for this place. They should have a maximum capacity. It was just WAY too crowded. There was grown kids playing in the toddlers section so my 2 yr old daughter couldn't play. The staff here look and act like they hate there jobs. Everything was a mess. Crayola should pay them better. When I asked for directions to the restroom I was told to "figure it out"

natalie cortale

This was our first visit. A parking garage is located near by. There were 4 floors of Crayola fun... crayon melting, making, history, crafts, coloring, playground, wax hand molding, clay molding, and more. The staff was helpful and friendly and location was fairly clean.

April

I had a toddler and a teen with me. Both age groups had fun. Food was very expensive. Over all had a great time.

Ida Maguire

Great family fun, my car was hit in the parking lot, on the 2 floor.

Gabrielle Batchelor

I love that place its super fun for kids and you learn a lot about wax and they have amazing food

Atiena A

Great for my 6 year old and 1 year old. Even my 14 year old enjoyed herself. Special toddler area. Ww started from the forth floor and worked our way down.

Ashley Turman

Kids had a great time with all the activities. Very slow on the ticket sales area and very crowded. I wish there were more employees to help with questions and move along the crowds.

Samuel Steigerwalt

Excellent experience. The place is filled with activities for your family. It seems very hands off and explore things on your own and I really enjoyed that aspect, you weren't corralled or forced to do any activities and most lines were very quick.

Eric Walter

Interesting ideas, but if you go any time there is a crowd, you're basically paying to stand in line to color.

Katelin Taylor

Awesome place for littles and adults. My husband and I took our daughter there and she LOVED it. There is so much to do there. Definitely 3-4 hours worth of activities. Huge gift shop. Food there isn't worth it. Don't waste the money. There are plenty of other places close to Crayola to eat.

Ye-Way

It's cool for the kids but not great. Prices are a bit much but they look out for military. My daughter loved it, but also it was crayons so it's a given.

Ernest Hernandez

It was fun for the kids but as a parent it's a bit troubling when your child goes up in the 3 to 12 play area, it's covered. I understand the need to promote the brand but with all the noise in there, how does a parent find their child or know if their child is hurt inside the play area when you can't see through the covering. Would've given 5 stars if not for that.

Kim Graham

The place was awesome. Lots of things to do. Worth the money and travel time.

Marie Silva

It's fun! Lots of activities to enjoy for all ages!

James Adams

I took my granddaughter was two years old my grandson 5 years old. So much to do for both ages separate and together. and I enjoyed the experience for the two of them.

Francis Roda

Had an excellent time here good price for all the things they have to offer... Best part was the smile on my son's face when he got to make his own crayon and play in the awesome play place!!!

Robert Hardy

My son had a lot of fun here interacting with the activities that they had for kids to do. I think this is a fun thing for kids to do. He enjoyed it and he is 9.

Emily Strubert

Super fun! Took my young girls here and they loved it. Really fun things to do.

Daniel Tai

2nd time visit. My 4 and 5 years old still love it. Spend almost 3 hours in there. Great place for kids. 3 hours meter parking was perfect. That area is nice and clean.

Sarah Turnamian

This place was fine. My kids (2 and 4) seemed to like it. It was crowded and I have zero desire to go back.

Tony Briguglio

Crayola was definitely fun the day we went. Very interesting to learn the history of how they became and how they are made and packaged. Lots to do with the kids and atmosphere was fantastic. Employees were helpful and nice. I would go again.

Sampath Kumar

It is more suitable to kids under 5 who likes to color. For Adults there is nothing to do.There is no scope to show your own creative arts.

Charles Myers

Fine time wish they actually took credit cards

Tammy Kratzer

Great place to take the kids. Not expensive. Easy and close parking

Connie Roletter

Perfect for 3 to 10 year old and lots of interactive activities, but go early by midday the lines get long.

Amber Wallace

The Crayola experience is a fun hands on place for preschool through early elementary school age kids. The annual pass is definitely with it if you live nearby and have kids in that age range. My 12 year old daughter is getting a bit old for it ,but still managed to have fun, particularly on the virtual activities. My kindergartner and 2nd grader love the playground, waterworks ( a canal lock play area) and the melted crayon activities. On crowded days the playground can get a bit crazy. Food, drink and paid activities are overpriced, but you can have plenty of fun without them.

Angel Velez

this place is totally awesome, great for kids and the town is very nice and has a lot of great food

Amit Sharma

Fantastic experience for kids. Staff was very friendly. Bit less food options, but the overall experience was worth visiting.

Bianca S

Took a school field trip here. It was a great experience for my students. They loved it and I had some fun as well. The town it's located in looks very lovely. I hope to return on my own time and check out the cute town.

Michael Smith

Don’t do this to yourself. Your kids will be better entertained with crayons at the diner for $70 and a massive migraine less.

Nathan Netravali

We stopped here on a recent road trip with 4 kids aged 4-7. All of them really enjoyed the several hours that we spent and with our timing we had to leave before we really got to experience almost half of it. The kids really liked learning about how crayons are made and there are so many activities to keep them entertained from coloring to running around on the indoor playground. It was a Monday and was reasonably full so I imagine the weekends are really crowded and the cafeteria food was mediocre at best. In any case, we'd probably come back to try out the rest and have fun again.

Macey Butler

Prices are a little out there but I love the free roam aspect so my kids can go in and out of whatever area they want. And the way they have the place set up gives me peace of mind that my children aren't going to get lost! Great experience!

allan queen

The experience overall was great. My kids were very happy with all four floors of activities. I recommend coming here to anyone.

yessica perez

Love this place so much things to do with the kids!

Rivka Kramer

Wonderful place for children of all ages! Children under 2 admitted free, but there are some nice toddler play spots. Beware of additional charges for some games and supplies. Prices in the gift shop are very inflated. Many hours of fun play!

Aaron DeBarr

Great for people visiting from out of town worth the experience. Not really much to do for kids over ten but great for the younger kids

Emma Spok

Great for the kids (went with a 4yr old, 2yr old and 9month old) stroller accessible all around but definitely best experience for the 4yr old will go when the other kids are older

Yubran Sandoval

It was a great experience for my love ones Great service by all of its employees. It really made my little girl have a lovely memories for the rest of her life.

Lizz

Kids had a great time. Staff was very nice. Clean and so much fun

Akshay Anand

Kids like it no doubt. It is a fun place. Only thing that needs to be better is the Menu option in the Crayola Cafe so that one does not have to leave the building just for quick tasty bite.

Beth Ann Spiegel

I didn’t know what to expect but was blown away by this place! Grownups and kids alike will have a great time here. So much creative fun!!

Patty Loughran

Awful. I wouldn't recommend this place ever! It is for younger children who have very little patience. Yet it took 30 min just to get in. Then a line for 70% of the activities. So many great ideas but poorly executed and not staffed well. Please touch, smith playground are much better! Lego Land in PM is even better!

Rafael catalina

Visited Crayola on a Monday. I would say a decent amount of people were visiting as well but not overwhelming. Still the lines in every department was because of short staff and management. One area had the worker and supervisor arguing about scheduling in front of everyone and holding up the line. Short of more workstations or space the only other option is for management to do a better job of handling lines, otherwise it would have been better experience.

Tamika O'Neal

It was a wonderful experience for the kids. Granted it was a bit crowded there were many activities to do, even a huge play area. Plus the amount of crayons they got was more than enough to make a box. I highly reccomend to anyone with kids.

Josh Williams

Kids had a great time learning about crayons and other art supplies. Had a toddler area that was great for kids 1-2. Get ready for crowds due to field trips here. The melting crayons on the top floor was our kids favorite but had the longest wait times

Zvika Badalov

Fun place, but not worth the trip from East NJ.

Robert Lopez

Great family fun! My Wife, myself and my 5 year old daughter had a fantastic time....

Orange Orange

The place is fun for kids. But there were a few things that I found very wrong with this place. First, the place is very disorganized. There is no flow, no arrows where to go first, next, etc. When you walk into one of the activity rooms, there are tables or computers but nothing that says "get playdough from the vending machine and use the toys on the table to create cutouts". Then we went into another play room that has skeeball, but the only change machine was broken. I went to the cashier selling souvenirs and asked for quarters, she didn't have enough. And when i told her that the change machine is broken, she replied "We know...[but aren't going to do anything about it]" Classy place. One room has computers and scanner to scan in drawings. We tried several different scanners and none worked. Seems they don't care about much more than the $23 entry fee and overpriced souvenirs.

Karma Bites

Great place for all the little ones! Just a word of advice..... if you can go during the week, you'll save yourself aggravation and chaos. We went the whole weekend and 2 weekdays and the weekdays by far have less people and make it more enjoyable.... especially with a stroller. Unfortunately, lots of exhibits were broken when we visited. At the meltdown station, the instructions were written on the paper we were supposed to draw on. We asked the attendant working that station where the press is to put our creations in, as stated on the paper we were drawing on and his response was, "I don't even know. " as a family of 5, that station was a complete waste of 45 mins standing in line and making a creation that was never completed. As a family, we lost a combined total of 8 tokens on making your own crayon label. All in all, it's a great experience but it'd be 100% better if everything worked as it was supposed to.

Renee F

Our 3 year old son loved it here!! Brielle in the Drip Art area is super sweet and helpful!! Would definitely come back another time!’

Justin England

Great place. Wish there were more for younger kids

Michael Hughes

Love the place, but it will make you question why some people have kids

Tony Minser

Well worth the cost. We loved the activities,l. The interactive coloring stations were a blast, and the crayon molding was neat as well.

Sam Freedman

What a wonderful experience our visit was today! So much fun and a great learning experience.

BouvBrain

Went with a girl scout troop of 9 3rd graders. We had so much fun! We stayed 4 hours and could have done so much more. There are so many hands on exhibits and different sensory exhibits. The adults and kids had a great time, and the staff was excellent! The food at the cafe was limited, but good. The gift shop is very extensive with so many fun things to shop for.

José Luis Franco Rodrigues

i love craola products. so, this place is like heaven to me. nice staff too.

Jeremiah Hasselbusch

It a fun place for kids. I went when I was a kid and always Remember it to be awesome. Now I got to take my kids for their first time and they had a great time.

Libby Giambrone

Wouldve been 5 states except for the B who worked at the wax hands... she ruined mommy's day there, thank God the kids had fun as we drive 2 hours and stayed overnight in a hotel just to check it out.... but that was probably because they were with their Grammy and nana and in good company, as opposed to the ppl that work there

Dan E

The kids had a great time. The demonstration of how crayons are made was surprisingly cool.

Ali Wogan

A bit over crowded but not awful. It was sort of disappointing as it was kind of ran down and the employees seemed like they hated their job. Neat idea but needs some updates. Oh and for the mediocre pizza a full 8 cut is $22!!!! Little cesars $5 hot and ready pizza tastes better lol

Maureen Neyhart

Great activities for the children. Climbing area was safe and an age appropriate challenge. Activities are family friendly.

Amelia Breslin

My son is 1 and he had a great time! I had a great time too, doing the activities with him and watching him play. There's so much to do and it's not overwhelming or chaotic at all

Manners 62

If you are going to go be prepared to stay a while! I went with my 3 children and we stayed almost 7 hours!! (granted we took our time) every floor has so much to do. We loved naming our own crayons and having our pictures turned into coloring pages the most! If you plan accordingly you can save on tickets by checking their website. Be ready to pay for parking because the free parking spots fill up quickly. They allowed us to bring our own food and drinks which was nice. Also I suggest bringing a bookbag of sorts to hold all the things you will be making/designing/coloring because it is a lot (especially since it's all included). Even the gift shop was reasonably priced! We will definitely be going back.

Alex Kogan

There aren't a lot of places that offer as much fun for the kids as they do for the adults. My kids had a blast and so did my wife and I. There are many unique encounters that Crayola Experience offers. From melting crayons to creating custom labels to create your personalized crayon to climbing the kids indoor playground to computer interactive games involving drawing and kinect sensor games, your child is sure enough to find something that will interest him/her. Great place to spend time if the weather doesn't permit outside activities but also worth going to to get unique and interesting experience with the family. Don't forget their gift shop.

Katie Rose Campbell

Things have changed some, more digital. But still a great day had

Rafael catalina

Visited Crayola on a Monday. I would say a decent amount of people were visiting as well but not overwhelming. Still the lines in every department was because of short staff and management. Cachae Thomas

OMG! Took my grandkids here, they had so much fun. They even have a jungle gym for the kids to play in. They also cover the history of Crayola and how they make crayons, and you get to print label with your name to personalize whatever crayon color you choose. They even show how 100 years ago they manually put the label on the crayon with the sliding machine and it teaches kids how to do it themselves. I look at this as a more fall/winter seasonal event, even though they’re open all year round.

Keerthi Priya Arani

Lots of options, for kids of all ages, to have a fun and tiring day. My favorite was the carving and drawing stations. Guaranteed to keep them occupied. 4th floor was melting station, might not be for toddlers. Cafe has food options but expensive.

Avi Shalom

Wow I can’t even remember everything there was there but let me tell you ITS PLAIN AWESOME And don’t worry this isn’t only for kids you’ll enjoy this place alot

Eric Meyers

Fun place with lots to do but if you don't get there early it gets really busy. Anything you can do to take the steps vs elevator is also a good idea. Elevator is way too slow.

Rambo Bailey

We had an amazing times with our girls. Only thing I wish they had, was a concierge on each floor to help direct you. We were kind of lost with things in the beginning.

Mark Leicht

Edit: Changing my star rating. The experience was fantastic. My kids had a blast, so many great changes, everything is interactive and well worth the journey and experience. You can pick and choose what you want to invest in. Staff was fantastic and so helpful at each turn. My original post was regarding the front line and the lack of coordination with checking people in. My only reason for not 5 stars was that it was extremely over crowded with children groups. I think the factory has to take into consideration how many groups they let in at a time, because those of us parents who are going by ourselves with our kids, it took forever at some exhibits because 20+ kids were in a group. I highly recommend this location and look forward to returning. Original: Waited 20 minutes in line that never moved. Not sure what the problem was, we decided to leave and will come back. I hope they get their computers in order . Will update review when we come back.

Joe Cavallaro

Took my 2.5 year old for a day trip.. overall it was a fun trip and my daughter really enjoyed it. It wasn't terribly crowded and the staff did a decent job of moving things along. Plenty to do and see for kids of all ages but If she were a little older it likely would have been a more in-depth and fun experience but it was still worth the money and we created a few free souvenirs to bring home. Gift shop was overpriced.

Jenn Greenberg

Such a fun place for kids of all ages! It's also decently priced, so you won't break the bank there.

Sharon Tiensch-Forrester

Just cool, I kind of want to go back without my kids :) There are 4 floors, each has at least 3 main activities that allow your kids to create something cool. We could have stayed here all day. There is a parking garage across the street, there is an hourly fee for parking. There is a cafeteria and separate places you can get ice cream or popcorn. The big climbing place space was a big hit with my kids. Overall this place was an absolute blast- just be prepared to wait in line!

Pacis Wann

A fun place for kids 5 and on up, even for adults, I enjoy it tramandencely! Lots to do, fun fun fun!

Courtney Roberts

Cute for the price. It's something I would only ever visit once. There is not enough stations for children and I have never met such rude staff in my entire life, and I'm from NY. I don't mean 1 or 2 associates, 90% of these people do not belong working near children.

Rebeka Abrams

So many activities to do. Large enough that you do not feel like it is over crowded. Great fun for kids and adults.

Brian Cooper

Great family day trip! Fun and informative.

Balaji Rao

The entire experience though very good has a lot of places that requires quarters and coins. It is not much but bothersome since they stop working and someone has to come fix the coin rides. And on a busy day , you can end up spending too much time waiting in line rather than in the Crayola attraction itself. Summers are definitely crowded (But a very decent crowd)

Annette Cruz

A tremendous experience. I especially loved the wax molding of my daughter's hand.

Breanne Smith

Super busy place but they've taken steps to ensure that there are distinct lines and that everything flows. Some new activities, some haven't changed in several years.

Elimeir Adelman

5 and 8 yr old couldn't get enough! Free admission for teachers all year round with teaching ID.

Tamika O'Neal

It was a wonderful experience for the kids. Granted it was a bit crowded there were many activities to do, even a huge play area. Plus the amount of crayons they got was more than enough to make a box. I highly reccomend to anyone with kids.

Christopher VAN WAGNER

This place was alot of fun for me and my family. There are a lot of activities for the children. Including a indoor jungle gym. A giant light bright and you can make your own crayons. You can get in for free if you work in education or service.

Julia Grochowaski

Love all the modern hands on activities and the old fashion fun kids have.

Shanag Malik

This is definitely a fun place for kids! There is a lot of coloring activity so you can spend a lot of time here or just a few hours. We went as a family and knew we weren’t going to spend too much time so we went a few hours before closing and the tickets to enter was half price so it was worth it. The kids had fun making stuff and you can bring a few good souvenirs home.

Gia Moon

Pretty neat, we only went to the gift store. Picking out your colors for your own set is fun. Wish they had better storage options with dividers so you can sort colors and see them all at a glance.

Pam Kutzler

My Crayola experience was so much fun with my two granddaughters ages 7 & 9. However it was utter chaos in certain areas. I have nothing against strollers believe me I put my own children and strollers when they were smaller, but some areas were signed no strollers in this area and people still brought strollers in those tight areas. Please be considerate of other people when you are pushing a stroller in a large group of people.

Ana Taylor

I took my 7,5, and 3 year old kids. We spent the whole day there. They loved it! Friendly staff. It was a Wednesday and it had a crowd but very manageable! Don’t hesitate on a weekday.

Wong Jamie

Love this place that is full of children friendly and educational activities for kids and baby to do. There are lots of drawing papers and crayons there for kids to do drawing and coloring. Also lots of fun activities like the water station and play areas for kids to move around. It’s so cute to see it all decorated with crayons and can also see giant crayons and markers there, too. It also has a small interaction theater that show people that how was the crayon made. Each person get to take a fresh make crayon to go. The gift shop is really cute and colorful. It also sell merchandise that we don’t usually see in other places. It’s worth going.

Scott Sempier

The Crayola Experience allows art afficianados and novices alike create and interact with a variety of displays and experience. In addition to naming your own crayon, visitors can interact with their colored pages on the computer through animations. Other exhibits include turning your selfies into coloring pages, writing with melted crayons, and playing in an indoor playground. Fun for children and adults. Best for ages 2 - 11, probably.

Arthur

Really nice place to visit but as an adult to go with a significant other its best to go when its less crowded. Overall still a fun time if your just stopping by in PA. It is not too expensive either with the discounts they offer after a certain time or by using groupon.

Both our 5 and 4 year old loved it here. We actually spent almost the entire day here (which is rare for their attention span). I don't think I'd come back often (they pitch a yearly membership), but I would still highly recommend it. The biggest negative being that it's not a close drive and there isn't really much else around in the area.

Sherri Smilen

For the most fun and experience, arrive early just before they open. Not crowded and start on the 4th floor. ENJOY. ;)

When I went about 10 years ago with my husband and 2 kids (TJ and Krysania), my mother-in-law and her (adopted grandkids) 2 girls (Kayla and Tori) Wish I had photos, mom may if she does I'll pay them later but everyone had fun at the Crayola factory, not just the kids

Enjoyed the Crayola Experience! My little brother and I had a lot of fun playing and learning "behind-the-scenes" about crayons, as well as delicious food in the cafe. A wonderful place to enjoy with your families. :)

It wants a school trip and I had lots of fun with my 2 year old granddaughter. Highly recommend; can't wait to return with the other grand children hahaha make it a family thing at least once in the summer time...

We had a great time at Crayola Experience. We spent about 4 hours there and honestly we didn't even get to everything cause the kids played on the play gym area the most. The food court area was actually reasonably priced. Usually they Jack up the food prices, but to feed 4 people and a toddler it cost us less than 40 dollars. The activities were a lot of fun and it was nice that the adults were able to join in on the fun. I would highly recommend visiting there. If you want to stay over so you can relax after your adventure at crayola, then I would suggest booking at the Holiday Inn Express. They are super close, reasonably priced and it really made our trip awesome.

Pretty neat, we only went to the gift store. Picking out your colors for your own set is fun. Wish they had better storage options with dividers so you can sort colors and see them all at a glance.

Jamie Barr

Alot of fun! Me and my husband went with my aunt and little cousin we went off on our own and saw and did everything (I'm 39 my husband is 48) we definitely had fun. And it was birth control for me!

Great place for the whole family! We all had a amazing timeA

We love it . buy the season passes. They are good for 1 calendar year. And if your like us. If it rains on the weekend... We are at Crayola factory. Btw with passes you also get 20%discount on everything you purchase. From the lunchroom to the wax hands and gift shop. So worth it. The staff is fun, informative, helpful and they are kind. And patient really patient award-winning patience.

KMarie James

Had a very nice time . Plenty to do. My grandson had a blast. It was definitely a experience they can put there own name on the crayon or create there own label. Even watched a movie on how they make the crayons. If you have little one it is a must see.

michael taylor

It was a great family experience. My daughter absolutely loves to color draw paint and mold. To see how the creations are made was great.

I took my 7 year old granddaughter, and we were both first timers. Based on other reviews, .we went mid- week and didn't arrive until shortly before 1 pm. The summer camper groups were just leaving, and then we found the place, while busy, not overcrowded. We didn't have to wait long for any of the myriad activities available. There were many, many staff members ready to offer friendly assistance if we needed. The admission price included 2 tokens that were usable for several activities, as well as 2 vouchers for another cute souvenir. Some activities required additional payment, but there's plenty to do that doesn't cost extra. And there are 2 indoor play spaces, one for ages 2-4 and the other for ages 3-12 for when kiddos need to move around and enjoy some physical activity. All in all, we left with a very positive feeling about this adventure!

Leo Garcia

It was fun, plan on spending three to four hours to do all the activities in the place.

Ana Taylor

I took my 7,5, and 3 year old kids. We spent the whole day there. They loved it! Friendly staff. It was a Wednesday and it had a crowd but very manageable! Don’t hesitate on a weekday.

Dan herald

My grandson liked it. They need more cashers in the gift shop. Waiting time was very long

Alex Friedland

I'm giving it a 5 but for younger kids only. This is my opinion but I think 7 and younger gets the most out of this experience. It's great for that age range. A little older and the fun level drops a bit for the price point.

caitlin whittet

Great place to bring kids, not toddlers. There is so many activities on each floor and it’s all hands-on. At busy times of the day you may have to wait in line for every activity though. So planning for at least 4-5 hours to get thru the entire place is a must.

Amanda Willoughby Doll

Interactive exhibits and entertaining multimedia live show. Some digital features did not work. Great time naming colors.

Kizzy Henry

The experiance was amazing, my son had a great time there was so much to do and play with. It is a great place to take children even young ones

Tammy Lockwood

Would have been better if they had informed us of groups.

MariaKayy Beauty

It was really cool. I wish they had more for toddlers, alot of the activities were too high for him to reach but over all it was cool.

Belle C

A lot of fun! Very cute. Would've been nice to have a couple of more experiences to do with the kids though.

Joshua Selsor

The kids and I love this place. There is so much to do. We spent almost six hours there and can't wait to go back. The admission is reasonable and there's parking across the street.

Belinda Seely

Everything!!!!! Lots to do and a cheap away to spend the day. Easy parking and lots of places to eat. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Henry Will

The children (preschoolers) enjoyed it. We enjoyed time together. There were long lines and it was very noisy.

Tom Chuang

A great place for kids to kill time. Many fun activities for them to use their energy. The fee for family annual pass is not expensive at all. In fact, it is almost equal to one time ticket (there are discount codes you could find online) so it is no brained to buy the annual pass. Secondly, this place is indoors with air conditioning, therefore it is a great place to escape from the bad weather. I can say it would cost much more money for something similar in the metro areas like NYC. For people living in or close to NYC, it takes more than one hour to reach. Overall, it is worth it.

Erin Sheldon

It's always a 5 star place. My munchkin loves it here and begs to go back again and again. Thankful for season passes!!

María V. Calderas

Nice place to bring the kids in and let their imagination play freely. I love the layout of the store. You will be able to find all the Crayola products you can think of. I had a lot of fun. This is a must go place.

Maria Hernandez

Took my 3 year old here and she loved it. Crayola has many fun activities for kids. The lines for the activities can be a bit long so I hope they open more kiosks/machines. But still a great place to take your kids!

Deep Patel

A good place for kids of different age groups. There's some cool stuff kids will love to do with crayola crayons. There's picture booths and also colors everywhere at this place. Just keep Coloring whatever you see wherever you are at this spot

Travis Prouse

The activities were great! The facility, the product and my experience was great. I truly enjoyed myself. However, the staff sucks. They have no enthusiasm. The concession worker forgot to make my order twice. The presentation about how crayons are made was informative but was presented by a monotone half dead person who was being interrupted by animated crayons. Patrons ignore the obvious how to videos and signage which caused the half dead staff to walk people through the demonstrations. Keep everything. Clean house. Fire the people. Get new management. I want to take my family back again but won't if crayola doesn't fix its attitude problem.

erica peter

Very long lines. Very disorganized. Loud. Expensive. Live and Learn. Maybe its better off season? Definitely primarily for children under 5. My children (7 &10) were very uninterested in the majority of the activities. Anything that looked interesting to them cost additional money on top of the $22 entrance fee.

Heartsand Love

Super fun for kids. Lots of different projects to make. Only downside was the lines and the cafe was awful. So if you decide to go, I recommend packing a lunch and eating outside.

Delsea Marlena

The advertising is 5 stars, however the actually experience is 2 stars. They really lead you to think there is more to do than there really is. Nothing is really done yourself, it's all done by machines. The activities should all be free, but they arent. I wouldn't bring a child over the age of 7 here, it isn't really for teenagers or young adults. They have a coloring section, where you can color a page and then bring it to live on a computer, pretty unexciting because the computers were barely working. There is drip art, which a machine spins 2 melted crayons around and then when it dries it falls apart. You can melt a crayon down into another shape, which a machine does. There are video games, and clay molding but it really isn't what it sounds like. The please touch me museum is probably a better option than this.
