REVIEWS OF Castle Clinton National Monument IN New Jersey

Our boys like to collect badges from the Junior Ranger program implemented by the National Park Service. We were in New York City, but did not want to pay and wait to go all the way to the Statue of Liberty. We asked the park ranger on duty about completing the junior ranger for Statue of Liberty without going across on the boat. He informed us that in order to get the Statue of Liberty badge we had to go across, but that we could complete the booklet for Castle Clinton and receive a badge from him. The booklet and learning about Castle Clinton turned out to be really interesting as it matches the changes in New York City. It was a great way to spend our morning.

Really nice place to walk around. Finely manicured paths, exposure to the waterfront, and the memorial is nice. You can catch the free ferry nearby. Good police and park maintenance presence. Also access to the path that follows the east waterfront. Might not return simply because there are other great green spaces to explore.

Rajesh Kumar

You need to be here to catch the ferry to Status Of Liberty. We were lucky to see a street performance and enjoy cool breeze.

Meg Caccavale

I liked the quiet beautiful place, but the lines are too long

Mr. 1985

This was amazing I could just do without all the dam walking

Joel Monserrate

Cool castle,it once watched over lower Manhattan along time ago!

gene Grant

Learned more about Ellis Island from the God Father part 2

Kevin Piacente

It didnt see any battle but it was very informative

Dan Pieraccini

This is a fantastic landmark to visit in Battery Park. Plenty of places to eat or drink outside on a nice day. If you can, look up to see if there are any events going on. In the summer, once, I watched a Shakespeare in the Park free rendition of 12th Night and the scenes happened in and out of the monument and inside and outside of the fort. You followed the actors all around this landmark and it was just awesome for them to utilize this place as a natural backdrop.

Denni Wibowo

Beautiful view to the bay but a bit too far if you expect to see Liberty Statue

Rober Cator

This place was on my bucket list and didn't disappoint we had a very enjoyable time here and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Gianluca Adamo

Great park in front of Ellis Island, you can meet very "friendly" squirrels during your tour

Denise G

Such a beautiful area. Clean grounds.

Mystery Mama

This was the most amazing modern take of a Mary go around. $5 per person

Daniel Zotterman

Nice and not to much of people in the same spot, a good place to take it easy in new York

Rei Alexandra Aoyama

Really nice park in the Battery Park area. You can get tickets for the Statue of Liberty inside the building. Nice greenery and lots of flowers around the area. Two main memorials at the park for World War II and the Korean War. If you are here for the Statue cruise, the best way is to pay online and do the “Will Call”. This will save you a lot of time waiting in-line. Note that the ticket to the statue pedestal and the crown is usually sold out 3-6 months in advance. But the ticket to walk around the island is usually available. Highly recommended.

purna monger

This is the place to take ferry towards the Statue of Liberty small park for kids to play around and splash water for fun.

isabel Danielak

I had never been and enjoyed the history and walk around. I enjoy a day of walking around and being so close to NY I find I’m there a lot and this was definitely a nice & historic place to see.

Cherrie

Spot where we caught Viator tour w/guide, Mark, to liberty & Ellis Islands. Great day!

Shiva Subramanian

Beautiful place to spend time at our own pace. Good for a walk. Relax.

Sheri Mueller

A random national Park that gets overlooked because everyone's going to the statue of liberty, but it's worth a look while you're waiting for the ferry! It doesn't take long. It's the little round wooden fort where you get your statue of liberty tickets.

Karen Williamson

Here's my displeasure with this....it has to do with Statue Cruises...the only venue that you can use to visit the statue of liberty. The lack of signage and helpful workers was crazy. We were told by some workers to wait by one door for our Will Call Tickets and that it would be a breeze to get them. We had our family get out of the other line to join us. Then another worker told us we couldn't wait there and had to get (back) in the main line. There were then no signs inside the Castle to tell us where to go for Will Call Tickets. Waited in line to find out you can only pick up Will Call tickets at WINDOW 6. After picking up our crown tickets we were told to wait in another line outside the castle for the blue line and that we didn't have to wait in the red line. Turned out we did have to wait in long red line but then were allowed in to blue line at the end. Bottom line, it was very confusing and frustrating to work with Statue Cruises and pick up tickets at The Castle Clinton. Once we made it to Liberty Island, our experience improved dramatically.

Ashley McDaniel

So cool to see pieces of history right at your finger tips

Elizabeth Brown

Nice looking building. Didn't really look around. Just came here to get ferry tickets for Liberty Island.

Namarata Maheshwari

Just okay there we went to purchase boat ticket for statue of liberty

Hope Lyon

Beautiful Park and Monument. Excellent views of NY Harbor, Downtown Buildings. Nice park with large outdoor area for families, or single people to sit and read a book. Dogs are allowed, but there is no separate dog park here. Nice paths and walking areas as well. Is easily accessible to wheelchairs. Good playground area for children as well. Nice gardens and beautiful flowers planted here year-round. One of our favorite places in the city. We go to this park a few times a week.

Bob Ayotte

A must see, worthy of being on your bucket list.

Asish Subedi

Place to on board ferries to go to the State of Liberty from NY side. Also a place to relax after you come back from the tiring trip to the Statue.

Allyson Smith

Strange monument. Ellis island before Ellis Island. This place has a long history including being a fort, entry place for immigrants, an aqurium, and a music hall. Worth stopping by if you're in the area (like getting tickets to go to the statue of liberty) or you are very interested in early NYC history. But there's not a lot to see except to marvel over New York's long history.

Mario Tonndorf

Absolutely flawless. Try to go early in the morning and there will be little to no queue time, you can easiöy spent 2-3 hours on the island with lady liberty. The museum is nice and prices are affordable. A must see.

Stacy Roach

pretty cool place. Neat statues in the area

Sylvia Ongeri

This is the ever best place for people visiting and to remember their loved ones❤❤

Kelly Keifer

Beautiful place in a beautiful city the architecture is really pretty.

Cornelis Lamers

Beautiful location it sure a part of NY city.

Justin Hoffmann

Awesome place, don't particularly care for the name attached to it. However it's a must do stop.

Jesus Cabello Schomburg

Overall, we had a good experience getting to Liberty Island. Decent hot dogs, too

Gill Bentley

We didn't want to visit ground zero, as it would seem voyeuristic. But in fact it was all right. The memorial is very tasteful and peaceful. A big square pool with an inner square void with the water falling into infinity. The names of those who died are set in a steel sloping panel round the edge. Trees complete it to give you a place to pay your respects.

Will Koehrsen

An interesting former fort that now serves as the ticket center for trips to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The fort itself is worth looking around and reading about its history. Castle Clinton sits within the wonderful Battery Park.

Jacek Radko

Gives you a glimpse into history, the area used to be the very end of Manhattan Island, but has since been made substantial cleaner than just a few years ago. It's pretty good, but I don't like the way you're harrassed by ticket sharks the minute you come close to the park. Once you get past the vultures, it's a great place

Sara Akil

Yes great time recommended for family outing. But it only at max between statue of liberty and Ellis Island. About 3 1/2 hour's. So you need to find something else to do. If on bus tour when bus pick you up 6 pm . arrive about 11 am. Smile

Maulik Patel

Beautiful place to visit whether it's in the day or at night. Huge buildings with amazing architecture around the park.

Steve Hanson

I thought this place was bigger, I still enjoyed

Camille Plummer

I honor the liberty I am endowed with from Christ Jesus, who has inspired men to make this magnificent monument, the torch of Lady Liberty, signifies to me the path of ascension of my risen Lord Jesus Christ, who lives to make all man and women free through His grace.

Sam Thorne

Not much here except pushy vendors

Deepak Masih

Theatre District of Manhattan.....in and around the Times square....its says the saga of human architecture and performance and perseverance and Nothing Stops Me attitude of Mankind....

K Chanhpheng

Loved the new museum with all the historical information. Too crowded in pedestal area almost making it not worth it. Almost.

Victoria Wells

Awesome National Monument visit tucked into Manhattan’s Battery Park. This is a great piece of history where New York began and an easy visit when you are purchasing ferry tickets for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. There are easy to follow signs and plaques to read about the history of the area. Tip; don’t fall prey to the gimmick tour packages. You can do this yourself and see it just the same.

Jamal Ajli

This where you can buy tickets to take boat to statue of liberty. You can also see the history of the place and part of New York since 1812. It's really historic and very interesting.

Elizabeth VanValkenburg

I loved the public art, and you can catch ferries or boats to the Statue of Liberty nearby. I especially loved the immigrant statue.

Bella Peters

Great view of the statue for free near here!

Karen D

Lovely park with excellent views of Ellis Island. Lots of places to sit and the landscaping was very nice.

Jason Jones

Nice place to go for an evening stroll. Great sunset view from the park.

Jorge Beltran

Area is nice, many people come for picnic. There is a splash pad for kids.

INDO TAINO ZAPATA

This is the Statue of liberty ticketing office. I loved this trip. There's an advisory though*** PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE GUYS WHO APPROACH YOU IN THE PARK BEFORE YOU ENTER TO BUY YOUR TICKETS***. TICKETS are not more than $18.00.. Do not pay $45 dollars to those guys on the street. Don't worry about food before the boat ride because there's snacks on the boat and food at the statue of liberty island. The food is also a reasonable price. Be careful on the boat ride because it rocks a very much. It's best to take the train to this event. If you take a car us the parking on state street, it is the one on the side of Starbucks in front of the park and trainstation... For 1hr its 24 and for 3 or more hours its flat rate of 36. People I hope you can enjoy have a great time... If you need a guide just ask a question or make a comment to me indotainozapata@gmail...

Essam Emara

Very delicious

Adam Sweetser

I've only been here to pick up tours for the Statue of Liberty. It was one of four forts build that was later converted. It had a pretty cool history. Anyway, there are public restrooms, inside.

R L

This is the stepping off point for The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island so the monument can easily be overlooked. Lots of history here so take time time to take a look at The Castle.

Jenn Nicely

The history of our country, it's so clean and peaceful there

Yvonne Swepson

It was nice. The reason I like it is 1st: Its part of the history of our country, state and city. 2nd: you get to be near the water and able to go on different boat rides. 3rd: but not least the beautiful battery park.

Noel Orourke

Took the liberty cruise ,the tour guide on the boat John a real new Yorker was fantastic. One of our many highlights of our trip.

Hailey Vittetoe

The building was great but my family was hustled by people outside wearing RED SHIRTS for a ferry ride. Wait and go inside, the people seem nice outside but just want your money. IT IS $18 FOR AN ADULT TICKET WHEN YOU GO INSIDE NOT $45.

Matt Perrone

Castle Clinton is the starting point for your journey to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from the NY side. This is where you buy tickets to get on the ferry. I recommend getting here early since lines get very long and the waits for ferries can get insane quickly in the middle of the day. This place is nice for a bathroom break too, as it has nice facilities.

Vicky Dyke

History is alive here. Fantastic views, public bathrooms.

Imogen Bullen

Worth a look at whilst in the battery Park area.

YASHRAJ DHILLON

Cool and calm place to chill out at. Great views of the Hudson and Statue of Liberty.

Jake S

Nice place for a stroll. In a good location

claudia vago

I'm amazed that New York has started in this little castle, and that it has become one of the most beautiful and largest cities in the world, I congratulate the citizens of this country for having made it possible

michelle antoinette

It was interesting to visit. A small museum, a small fort, stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and New York harbor.

Joel Fosbrook

this is an old fort built to protect Manhattan. it's where you buy tickets to the statue of liberty.

Tony Bainbridge

Was ok, but I was constantly pestered by sales people. Selling me tours, boat rides etc. Got annoying

Eric Smith

Cool spot to head to if you're visiting in NYC. Good views of the harbor, jersey, the statue of liberty. At times there is a little bar open serving reasonably priced beers. We didn't buy tickets to see inside the battery or go out to statue of liberty but sure those are fun too.

P Chandresh Gandhi

Beautiful place to visit with walk mind blowing place to enjoy

Yanky Y.

Very relaxing and enjoyable park for the whole Family, it's very nice out here, The grounds and the Water, really really nice you could even take the ferry here for a few hours trip, And it makes lots of stops to take beautiful pictures of your family, very nice here come and enjoy...

Julie Shen

Not much to see here as a national monument but rather the ticket office for the cruise to the Statue of Liberty. The stamp for national park passport is located in the little gift store inside the monument. You won’t miss it.

Lisa Zoller

When Manhattan seemed so packed, we found this little jewel tucked around the corner. Beautiful views, good food. A bit pricey

Jon

An NYC landmark and a US National Monument. Castle Clinton is located in the southern tip of Manhattan right inside Battery Park. It was the first US immigration station and now serves as a museum and where you can buy your ticket to visit Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty.

Paul Pavlinovich

This is an interesting building preserved and repurposed for the Statue of Liberty ferry terminal. I would recommend that you book your statue tickets online and board from the NJ side as there is generally little or no queue over that side rather than starting here in NY that often has a monster queue.

Aurora Kastanias

It would be nice to see if the park hadn't become a messy wueue of tourists waiting for the ferries.

Shaun Cunningham

It is a very intimate and fun show. Learn a few things about alcohol and get 3 free drinks included in the show.

Serhiy Tsyganok

Very beautiful sunset you can watch from there and enjoying your drinks

Peter R

The only place to buy tickets for the Statue of Liberty.

Rachana Thakor

Very clean organized place. The Bathrooms were surprisingly clean

Frank Kaplan

It's the Statue of Liberty. What else needs to be said

Conor Crowley

Definitly should consider taking a stroll around the castle when waiting for your ferry. The castle and surrounding area make for a nice view.

Corina Mayo

This is the actual place you get your tickets. We went during the off season at the end of April and there was no line. A breeze from purchasing tickets, boarding the ferry and return was a very pleasant experience. Recommend everyone to visit Staten Island and Lady Liberty!

Danago

The fort is well maintained by the National Park Service. There's a bookstore kiosk beside the ticket outlet for the ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty. If you see anything you like get it cause it closes early in the afternoon. Clean Restroom is beside the entrance when you get in. A few cannons on the perimeter. Nothing much to see really just a brief pass through then on the security screening house to get to the pier for the ferry ride.

J R.z

Loved visiting here!! Glad we were able to see lady liberty! The view from the pedestal is amazing!!

carl johnson

Only place to get tickets for liberty and Ellis island ignore everyone else who sells you a tour or a pass by water ride waste of money come here and by the real tickets security took minutes boarding took minutes and getting on and off real easy no fuss staff real helpful

Donna G.W

Its a magical experience you must try once. It's only for 3 minutes but for $5 it's well worth it.

Debasish Mohanty

Great place to explore. Located in the viscinity of the place where you would take the statue cruises to Statue of liberty. Good architecture designs crafted , worth taking photographs. Good to explore in early hrs. When the crowd is less.

charan Pal Singh

Place is beautiful and one can take a ferry from Manhattan to Staten Island and back to Manhattan and then enjoy castle Clinton national park for some time before proceeding further. Overall fascinating experience.

Kenneth Porter

I loved it I will come back again and again.

Elizabeth Somebodywhoknows

This Monument is very nice to go to a quiet place 2 buy tickets for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

gemi hartojo-alwakil

It’s pretty. But definitely you need to park somewhere and walk over.

Judy Scott

I would have loved it had we not arrived 5 minutes before close. I love National Park places, and have never been disappointed. Will have to go back to NY to visit earlier in a day.

Mari Lopes

I loved it. There is so many stories there

Katie Bloomfield

Super nice staff. This is the place you get tickets to get on the ferry to go to the statue of liberty and ellis island.

ruby rodz

Very historic looking. It was nice

Zender 2016 C

A lot of joggers, but such a beautiful area.

Edrees Elkayed

Great place to take a walk and enjoy peaceful and mind relaxing views

Parviz A

One of the historic spot. A very short stop before catching the ferry to the statue.

Stuart Ramsey

Lots of history. Interesting to walk around

Rachid Mechiche

Nice park beautiful view. Not overcrowded.

Ireneusz Kramarz

Park is ok. Do not fall for the asian ppl scam. Older couple offered to get us a caricature for $15. After done drawing the doubled the price x2 people and added a paper frame for $40. SCAMMERS AND THEY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE PARK

Bruno Henrique

It’s nothing to do there, it’s a green area and gate to ferry. The Statue of Liberty, it’s a good place to take a pic, but it’s the same it’s nothing to do there, because if wanna go to the crown you need schedule your visit. The food place its very good and affordable, after this park you go to for immigration museum if you don’t like interactive museums don’t go, nothing to see only reproductions and vídeo installation.

Edy Hatcher

Absolutely beautiful during the winter and very, very green. A great place to go for a walk, take the kids to play or even have a picnic.

George A-R

Nice, but not worth going out of your way to see. It's very small, little a backyard tree house.

najara cyrene

Beautiful place and the families always go on weekends

Vincenzo Prestera

Historical building just inside Battery Park. In the Castle Clinton hall is located ticket office for Liberty Island and Ellis Island cruises.

Chidananda Reddy

It was nice experience but not very exciting. Okay okay. The skyline view is better from here.

Ashley Thompson

The only thing you go in for is to get the tickets for the boat rides. Not bad just needs shaded areas while waiting in line. Staff need to be a little more friendly too and open about where your suppose to go.

Jack Griffiths

A very crowded place as it is where all liberty tours depart from. More seating would be good.

Angye Levy

People keep this historic place so dirty ewwww

Aliya Agins

Nice place to sit...too many tourists waiting for statue of liberty tour.

Diego Diaz

Great place to know about american history! And also good place to take cool pics

Cheska Marie

I saw a squirrel here! I didn't get to take a photo though. Very nice and peaceful.

Paul Schroeder

Didn't actually make it inside, but its history makes me want to come back and check it out.

Ashish Deshpande

One of the best place that I like in NYC, nice view and near to WTC

Chuck Coffman

As we approached to buy our tickets we were attacked by shysters trying to sell us all manner of tours, telling us tours were not available, etc. These guys had the badges, the t-shirts, everything to make them look authentic. The cops just sat there and let this happen. Once we made it inside, the lady in the ticket booth was quite helpful and made sure we got the right tickets and assured us that the boat was going to both islands and we were in the right place.

Mister Jon

An interesting pitstop if you are nearby, but not worth a separate trip. Area used to be an island and then was filled in via a landfill. There is a free exhibition that provides educational information about the history of the site. You can also buy ferry tickets here to the statue of liberty and Ellis Island. There is a public restroom available for free.

Misha Bluvshteyn

This is a beautiful park right next to the STATEN ISLAND FERRY. From this park you have amazing view of Statue of Liberty and the NYC harbor. There are benches here and a couple of places to sit and enjoy an outdoor lunch/picnic. There is also a carousel with a fish theme vs the usual horse/animal theme.

Oscar Perez

Not much to see. Close to WTC and Financial distric. Statue of Liberty ticketing booth on premises. The place need some TLC. Stamp for the park service passport on the gift shop. If you are going to buy tickets arrive early, lines are extremely long.

Arthur McMillan

It's absolutely beautiful there! And very clean, too. I was blessed to be there on a sunny day and my photos are spectacular.

Chris Foster

Not really anything to do but an interesting fort to visit. Was walking around the area and recognized it from Spider-Man video game so wanted to check it out. Some other stuff in the area to see and do, worth a walk through while you're there doing the other things.

Maria Seglina

Not much to see. Old building. Impressive

Robert Weegink

Nice place with a great view of the statue of liberty. Free and clean toilets available! Recommended!

Helena Tselos

Historic and fascinating! Great gift shop too!

NA C

If you want or are interested in new york city history start here

Queen Gabbi

It's a great Castle you have people dancing you will be amazed!!

michael gray

Oh no.... I didn't see this but wish I had!! Looks very interesting!! Give 5 stars because the whole Battery Park area and sites of interest were awesome so I assume this is too.

Marco polo

Nice place wonderful views good to take a picture of long distance

Laura Allen

Lines move fast. Rangers are great!

Micolas Nacovei

It's clean , it has a great view over NJ and statue of Liberty...

J. Kremer-Oliva

This place gets overlooked a lot. Most just know it as the ticket office for the Liberty/Ellis Islands. But! This place has so much history. Castle Clinton was actually the 1st immigration station before Ellis Island. It has also been an aquarium and was the oprah house where PT Barnum brought Jenny Lind to perform (from the greatest showman movie). We spent a day here, it was kinda crowded with people getting tickets for Ellis Island and Liberty Island, but once the crowds left it was a nice visit. We earned our Junior Ranger Badges and enjoyed our visit. Def would recommend especially if you are already in the area for Liberty/Ellis island.

Larry Knobel

The place to get your tickets for Liberty and Ellis Islands if you don't want to work through the people standing outside of the park and walking around asking you if you want to visit the islands on the parks pathways. MOST IMPORTANTLY...the nearest FREE BATHROOMS. Thank you...they were much needed..

Nancy Hunter

Our tour guide was Owen and he was the absolute man. He knew everything there was to know about this tour he kept it interesting and had a good balance of teaching some things and enjoying yourself. We went while it rained a little which was perfect because no lines or huge crowds. It was a lot of fun we learned a lot and Owen was the man. Highly recommend if you’ve never been to NYC. Find Owen you won’t be disappointed.

Cheryl Deal

Cool history and neat to see what they did with what they had.

pepper82789

Neat Old short, this is where you purchase your tickets for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Ferry. The ticket booth opens at I believe 9 the first boat leaves 9 as well you can either purchase your tickets here or online. If you purchase your tickets here it is a little cheaper than online. I purchased and one adult ground-level for Statue of Liberty and it was $18.50 where is I saw online it was $25 plus tax for the same thing. When you purchase a ticket at this establishment you have 3 days to use it within. Approach has my ticket the same day and I spent an hour or possibly 30 45 minutes in line walking around the building is a queue as long but moved quickly. There are some historical things within the fort besides the purchasing up tickets for the Statue of Liberty Ellis Island tour.

DHAVALKUMAR PATEL

Love this place ,just be careful buying ticket from outside vendors ,agent on street are selling ticket for boat tour (that means you cannot exit on Statue of Liberty ) . Don’t buy ticket just think twice before you buy ticket

Arnie Schlissel

Great little bit of local history. Really well presented.

Eugene Thomas

Another of the great parks of NYC. A lot of it is blocked off now. I don't know if it's about upgrading or keeping people not going on the boat rides from walking through. Took pictures with my camera. I'll post them after I download them to my computer.

Evandro Borges

So nice and historical. Beautiful and wonderful.

Johan van den Heuvel

Good place to stay just.outside of the business district. Calm and peacefully

Niki McNally

Great place to walk around and get a bit of history in while your at it. I lived in the financial district for 7 years so I would rest in the park if I needed a break from walking. However, the neighborhood is so overrun with tourists now. Don't get me wrong. I understand that it's a tourist destination but the numbers have doubled since I lived there. On sunny afternoons, which is rare in NYC, you could hardly walk around nowadays. There are way too many people. It's unfortunate because it's such a beautiful spot but with all the people it can be hard to enjoy.

Dicken Doe

A small building on the foreshore and where you pick up tickets for the Statue of Liberty. Nothing much to see though. Super friendly and helpful park staff helped us find our way around and onto the boat.

Mike and Shawna Hual

Very nice and informative. The staff is helpful. It is a good spot to gather just before a Statue tour.

Charlotte Crompton

Fantastic grounds. Very calm and peaceful. But be aware of the tour people just say you've got tickets.

Maricela Swain

Very beautiful place, you can rest and enjoy the amazing view.

sharon simpson

It's in the middle of the block. There's no bench to sit on. If you want to take pictures you have to watch out for pedestrians

Tim Booth

I love walking around NYC, including all our beautiful National Treasures!

Mark Lawrence

Was perfect weather lots to see very informative if you want to learn or you can rest and relax and enjoy the scenery.

visitdavid1

Not sure if i actually went there. Google said i did and they know all. Scary.

Chas Mahay

Very nice place to visit whilst in town

Paul Nebenzahl

The Battery is one of the least visited parts of Manhattan island and for that reason it's one of my favorite places to go. Here the immigrants, Korean war vets and our sailors lost at sea are honored and remembered.

Djbony Munoz

A very nice park to enjoy with friends and family, with a spectacular view. if you like photos, like them.

Mau Mau

I just went by the place, wanted to take a picture of the Old Lady, but half of the place was cordoned off to lead the tourists to the ships that brings them to the Island. Let me add here, that it is pretty ugly strategy to stop the tourists at the subway exists and tell them, that they have to buy ticket to 'the ferry', without telling them, that the Staten Island ferry is free, and this ticket is for another ferry :(

Cheryl Jones

A very good outing for a summer day. History, Mother Nature, food and a very cool merry go round.

Wendy Ertel

This is a lovely place to visit on a nice weather day when you're spending time in Battery Park or after seeing the 9/11 memorial. They have lots of informational brochures and mini tours available. It's located along the waterfront so lots to do in walking distance closeby. After touring the castle go on a ferry boat to see the Lady Liberty or sail on one of the tall ship sailboats docked next to the castle for a fun afternoon adventure!
