We had a great time here. Got a Groupon for two, and had a blast. Although it was a little busy, there were plenty of places to climb. We are beginners, so there were places we climbed easly and many that challenged us. There were even some that we didnt dare take on. The staff was great! I'd recommend giving this place a visit. Wear shorts, a water bottle, and bring a lock to lock you things up in a locker.

This is where I started climbing a few years back and loved the gym. But just climbed here and I think the setting has gone down a lot. I think setters need more training, a lot look like highschoolers with not that much experience.

Worth the climb if you are in the area. Small gym, but a good one. The bouldering area is a little small. The marking system is clear. Some sections are darker mainly the overhang portion. The changing room is large and clean. Their are two showers available.

They have a couple of walls but, they don't have a large bouldering section and the high walls are mostly the same.

Good range in climbing difficulty. No autobelays, so we took the lesson and were climbing on our own in 30 minutes. Matt was super helpful, patient and nice. Would definitely recommend if you have any trepidation about climbing. Learning how to properly belay took any fear I had away.

Great place to climb with plenty of options for each skill level. They change up the routes enough that there is always something new to try. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Being a beginner, I felt that I was not welcomed. The auto belle is not beginner friendly.

Because I can climb here!

Best indoor climbing gym around. The Manchester location is a bit larger, however for Nashua it's still very decent. The price is a little steep, but they do have a lot of deals and other ways to bring it down.

Great Rock gym.

I went from working here for many years to being a paying customer, which provides me an opportunity to finally leave a 5 star review! :) Vertical Dreams has the best setting of any rock climbing gym to which I’ve ever been. The grades accurately correspond with outdoor climbing most of the time, which is awesome for training purposes. Also, the prices are insanely fair! If you didn’t know, you can leave and come back when you’ve purchased a day pass ;). $11 (student rate) for all day climbing? Sign me up! The whole community here is wonderful, too. Both employees and members are super welcoming and friendly. This is the place where lasting friendships are created! No matter what level of climbing you’re at, this is the gym for you! I can’t recommend Vertical Dreams highly enough :)

Love this place! I've been going to the Manchester location for a while and only checked out the Nashua location (the old Boulder Morty's) in the last few months. It's a bit bigger than the Manchester location, has a greater variety of routes, and texturized walls. I have yet to check out the bouldering area, but it looked pretty decent from what I saw. The staff is also awesome, and always willing to offer advice on equipment or how to complete a route if you ask.

Lauren Ritter

LOVE THIS PLACE. I came in new to climbing this summer and have since built a network of friends. The routes are masterfully set, accounting for all different levels of experience. The atmosphere is nothing but positive; complete strangers will cheer you on. If you're looking to hold a group event, there is an area with seating and tables.

Great bear friendly staff awesome atmosphere!

I am new to rock climbing and this place is beginner friendly. They make you take a getting started lesson that's about 30 minutes vs other places that make you take a 3 hour course. They already have the carabineer set up so all the belayer has to do is to attach that to their harness. There's a wide range of top rope walls and they have a decent size bouldering section. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer any question you may have. Only con would be that the tape that marks the path are worn out and falls off sometimes. Thus making it more difficult to follow a path.

Great place with everything from easy to very difficult. It currently needs a new floor since all the seams are coming up, but foam is still alright. Lots of Bouldering problems and even more sport climbs. Definitely a good place to go at a great price.

Good rock wall. Good to have parties and a good place to climb for beginners and advanced climbers.

Great place. Nashua staff very knowledgeable and accommodating towards beginners. We will go back.

Michael Dunham

Great place to learn the basics of rock climbing. Also, wonderful place to bring the adventure craving kiddos

Daniel DeNinno

The guy who rung us up and gave us a brief belaying lesson was super nice and a great teacher. The atmosphere is great and everything is well maintained. This place is easy to get to and right next to millyard brewery so you can easily grab a pint after! I found the courses in general to be pretty tough, not many beginner courses.

Came here with my family today and the two instructors did a great job teaching us safety and knot tying. We had a great time and my kids are asking when we can go back again.

Like a few other reviews mention, I was also new to climbing when I first visited. Matt was especially helpful and welcoming from the start. Definitely worth checking out!

VD in Nashua has a good variety of walls and routs, and is targeting mostly somewhat experienced climbers. But newbies at bouldering, as well as the kids will also find some nice routs for their level. VD has shower and locker room (bring your own lock if you want), lounge room, to get some rest, and of course rentals. They can teach you basic stuff about belaying and climbing, if you need. It feels great there on weekdays till 6, evenings and weekends are quite busy. I enjoy every my visit to VD and going to join their outdoor programs as well.

Vertical Dreams Nashua is a great spot for climbing in Southern NH. There is extensive toprope climbing on textured walls. The bouldering area is small, so if you're interested in bouldering go to the Manchester location or Pawtuckaway State Park. The routes are updated frequently enough that you can try something new each week, but not so quickly that your favorite routes are taken down too quickly. Compared to many gyms in the Boston Metro area, the pricing is reasonable and membership has good perks.

Justin Thompson

A fantastic place to bring groups for a day of fun. Also for those who are an enthusiast of rock climbing, a great spot to hone your skills. And sometimes if you belay... You just get kicked in the face.

Jay Y

The trainers are super helpful and friendly.

Martin Dyer

We went this past Saturday (June 17) with a group of boy scouts. Everyone had a really great time. Instructors explained all the safety requirements, we did some practice runs, and then we were off climbing. The instructors stayed engaged with everyone as we used the facility, double checking that we were following all safety precautions. There was a good mix of climbing walls - everyone was able to make it to the top from a few different starting points. Well worth the trip!

Chris Wheeler

Kat Miller

MUCH better than the Manch location, so far. Bouldering problems are updated regularly (or have been so far) and top roping stuff is fun.

Gregory Potter

At first you think it is smaller, but there is actually a lot to climb. Areas for kids and beginners, but also lots of lead opportunities.

Ben Nichols-Farquhar

Great climbing gym, pretty good bordering wall but great climbing walls.

Anna Groves

Everything about this place feels outdated. It's small, dirty and dark, with old equipment. The boulder area is really small and the crash pads seem like they're stuffed with tissue paper. Route setting is nothing special and actually feels lazy at times. Nearly every route feels the same- strong moves on bad greasy crimps. I feel like they have never washed their holds because the really feel old and greasy. They really need to step things up and update a lot of things here they can compete with modern climbing gyms.

Jarad Houston

The rock wall is challenging, good to have parties and a good place to climb for beginner to advanced climbers.

Nicholas Weissman

I've frequented many other climbing gyms and I find that the routes here are way more dialed. The rating system here is more consistent than other places and You can tell the routes have been set by experts. Staff is genuine and friendly. Pricing is very fair.

Pat Guerard

Enjoy the climb!!

Sam Geer

This plane has way more rock climbing walls than Manchester, but so much less bouldering.

If you're looking for a quality indoor climbing gym, don't come here. The facilities are sub par, the setting is nothing special, and the entire gym is kind of dingy. You're better off going to Manchester.
