I don't know abt you but I'm not a big fan of this park everytime I go there there is bacteria in the water so you can't swim and you also have to watch out for blood suckers as well so if you ask me there are a lot more state parks in the state and alot more in them

Snapchat photo so you can't really see any of the beach or Park but it was a picture taken while we were right on the beach. We were the only ones there because it had closed for a week due to a bacteria the water had tested positive for last week but was being cleared today and we saw none of what the park rangers describe or what we researched and read for the bacteria's description. We also did not get there until almost 6 and they close at 6 so the only people we ended up seeing where some bike riders in a couple people fishing . Anyway, my apologies for getting sidetracked

Normally a beautiful lake for swimming and small boating. Unfortunately, the time we went this past weekend, it was closed for swimming due to excessive algae. Picnic area is always pleasant though! Also open areas for frisbee or whatnot

Always come her for church events, so much space, love the covered units that you can reserve so if it starts you rain or too much sun - you covered! Love the walk they have to go on the big hill! So nice to sit up there and look at every going down! There is also a spot to fly the 4-5 food planes. Have been going to this part for years so over this time have seen so many beautiful planes up in the sky!!

Another NH jewel that is easy to find off Route 202. The park is beautiful, well-maintained, with areas for picnic gatherings and plenty of room to walk around. A good sized body of water for canoeing and/or kayaking. No dogs allowed during the months it is officially open but there is a dog walk at the entrance for those times, and a great place to take your dog out of season. Well worth a visit!

Absolutely love the pavilions here! Convenient boat launch for canoeing, plenty of bathrooms, a place for basketball, hiking, frisbee, sunbathing, etc. Great place for family to spend a day. The swimming isn't the greatest (no life guard), but the water is shallow and calm.

I loved the recreational areas provided away from the lake, on the day that we as a family were here for my brother and his girlfriends reveal party the lake was being tested and we were told we could not swim. They have a small play ground the kids entertained themselves at but at close range to we had set up so that we could keep a close eye on them. The bathrooms were close by and unlike other places were pretty tidy. We did not have to pay the entrance fee as the lake was not open (although it did eventually open) we got in for free and enjoyed our activities. There was an event happening that same day so when they were done and cleaning up we were offered food that was going to be tossed which we gladly accepted. So it was an overall great day.

My kids loved catching the turtle and letting it swim into the Brook. They loved seeing the fish in the water. It is a beautiful area that is well maintained and the Park rangers, the police and all the staff were so nice!!!

Great place for swimming, bird watching, nature trails, and much more. The Rangers and staff are very helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Be sure to stop in the Ranger Station to see their huge interactive light-up map of the area, and taxidermy of local species, it is really worth it. If you have elementary age kids, check out their Jr. Ranger Programs, they are so educational and the kids have fun while learning (and so did this grown-up!).

One of my most favorite "local" parks of all time. A wonderful combination of wild areas, abandoned roads, walking/hiking/biking trails, picnic/swimming/fishing/boat launch etc. Elm brook epitomizes the term "multi-use area."

We come here each year for a family reunion. We just use a shelter and the bathrooms, but they're great. Everything is nice but we don't use any other facilities

Some friends held a party at a pavilion. It was nice. The normal access fee was waived due to excess algae at the beach, so we couldn't go swimming. I was on crutches, and the bathrooms were pretty far away.

I absolutely love fishing here and always catch more then one. There is a wide variety of species like for instance bass, sunfish, pumpkinseed, bluegill, trout, etc. They also have a playground for younger kiddos and a basketball court. This is probably one of my favorite state parks in NH
