Great winter walk with many trails to explore. Beautiful setting. Make sure you have proper footwear. Cleats helped on main wide trails that were icy. Dog friendly, make sure you clean up after your pets. Worth the 35 minute drive.

Absolutely beautiful spot! I was feeling a little bit discouraged about checking this place out because of 1 bad review i saw..but i am so glad i chose to go! The beach area...while it is pretty small...it was super clean with soft sand. The water is crystal clear and the atmosphere is just so relaxing. My kids really enjoyed it and are asking to go back again ! I recommend getting there fairly early as the small beach area can fill up by noon time. Parking fills up pretty quick right at the beach area. Kids loved it so much cause we able to use our pool floats in the water..total win!

Great, beautiful, & scenic area for walking, hiking, biking and swimming. The Main beach area was nice, a little bit small. But, you can go nearby to the first trail head on the right and there are many areas that branch off that have small sandy and fantastic swimming areas. I took my 2 daughters (10 & 13) and dog and we ventured a short way off the path and had our very own swimming area. The water was clean and not weedy. Note: Dogs are not allowed in the main beach swimming area. We had excellent time and picked up after ourselves and our pet. We had people to the right of us who did the same. **I hope people continue to be responsible and pick up after themselves and their pets as this was a great find to be able to have the whole family (dog included) enjoy the water on a hot day.

Ahern Park is a quiet park with tons of biking trails, walking trails in the woods and along the lake. It has a small Beach you can swim in. It's really lovely. There's one outhouse.

Amazing place to walk around. The wife and I took the dogs for a nice long walk in the snow. Would love to go back in the nicer weather and walk a little further through the woods. The main trail buts against Winnipesaukee so we had a chance to walk out onto the frozen lake.

This is an awesome area for hiking or even biking along easy trails. Lots of great views of the lake along your trek! There are two small beaches that are not life gaurd supervised but the water is clear, sand is soft and the veiws in those spots are also amazing as usual! Alot of the local residents frequently use these beach areas and it can get crowded at times and parking at the beach areas is very limited.

This is where we got married. Isn't a place for kids. Cliffs off the water with NO fence or railings. But is a beautiful spot to enjoy nature.

If you are a avid MTB cyclist this is to easy. Fire road its all about you can ride. The single trails in the middle of the park are not ridable. Full of down trees branchs twigs and leaves. Great viwes from the lake good for walking.

Great places with lots to do. Take a hike on one of the many trails or take a dip in the crystal clear lake with a sand and pebble beach free of debris. The port-a-potty could use a replacement.
