Wow...watched the races on tv since i was a kid. Finally had the chance to try it out. They picked us up at the Excalibur and drove us to the track. After about a 30 minute orientation you walk out to the track and wait for your turn. The cars are set up for your height since the seats don't move. My 16 year old was able to drive a car as well. You may have to wait a while if everyone is the same height. You have a co pilot but you do drive the car yourself. 140mph+. Afterwards you can buy a plaque and video. Then they drive you back to the strip.

Our experience from start to finish was amazing. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel at ease, answering all our questions. We both did the Nascar driving experience, where we did the track ourselves for 5/8 laps at a top speed of 150 mph. It was SO fast!! What a rush! Their pre-training was great and made us feel more comfortable before getting on the track. They were fantastic... I feel like it's the staff that made it just that more exciting an experience. It was wonderful, and we'll definitely be doing this again!

Total rip-off at Daytona. Junkie cars, too few spotters, ran really late and then, after awaiting my turn for 4 plus hours on a cold, foggy day, I got pulled out of the running car on the starting line because they ran so far behind, the track closed for darkness. They they said no refunds, that I had to fly back from CA at a later date to reschedule. I got the police involved when the manager stated he was afraid of me. I got my refund but it was against company policy. Read the fine print.

The Petty Experiemce in Vegas has gone way dowm hill from what it used to be...very unorganized...long waits for Ride a Longs...don't bother booking on line...back and forth from the office to the trailer track side because staff don't know what's going on...it's probably faster to just walk up...cars are getting tired and chipped out at 5000rpm so speeds are not like they used to be...very let down for sure...don't waste your money.

150mph achieved. This experience taught me a whole lot about what NASCAR driving is really about. Don't knock Speedway until you've done them for yourself - 50mph slower than the professionals and with only a few other cars.

Big disappointment You want to be Petty? you'll be a Turtle. Car Speed is limited and on this huge speedway you'll feel driving slowlier than on the highway with your own car. I don't understand why people are so excited about this experience. I recommand to test any supercar such as Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari, on a traditionnal track ; you'll have much more fun.

Excellent experience! We went as a family last year, and then again recently to have Dad race against teen son (who just earned his license)! What a blast!!! And the in car video and photo plaque is DEFINITELY something that you want to get to remember your time in the driver's seat!

So good for passenger experience but for 160 bucks only 3 laps expensive plus not enough variety of sizes for shirt selections plus girl on counter wasnt pleasent and i did nit get my photo that was paid for in advance. It was a gift i lefy next day , not knowing that the photo was paid for a head of time i would come back as driver if price was right 300 bucks dont kniw how many laps?

Worse experience ever booked my race day in November hold all the paperwork for my beautiful adventure and someone at Richard Petty dropped the ball and put in the wrong day. So I never got picked up I never got to drive or enjoy something I have been looking forward to for months. The whole reason for coming to Las Vegas and driving 16 hrs to get here.

This was alot of fun, the instructors we very good and the cars are fast. Paid for video but when we got back to the hotel found out they gave us the wrong video, tried calling and no answer left message the called me back the next morning and made arrangements to drop of video great service would recommend

I had lots of fun but they stated I went 148 mph. I paid for the video and it showed 49 seconds on a 1.5 mile track = 110 mph. All of our party were within that speed range with using different cars. They are being dishonest with the top speed you can achieve in these cars. That being said, I don't think people with no experience should be driving at 150 mph anyways lol.

If you are a lover of motorsport, I would highly recommend this. The entire experience was very professionally organised and all of the staff were very friendly. If you're looking to maximise value for money, I personally would recommend the ride along as that car was travelling visibly faster than the self driven cars. I would also bring a "plus one" to take your photos as the souvenir photos are very expensive.

Wow! This was an awesome thrilling experience. Drove the classic blue Petty #43 replica car. My ride-along coach was excellent in helping me achieve a smooth run & improve my lap times. After the run, I received a printout showing my lap times, avg speed per lap & top speed achieved on each lap. Buy the extra laps, it's worth it!

Everyone on staff was super helpful and making you feel safe. Gave to my boyfriend for Father’s Day and we decided to do the Vegas strip instead of Az and it was a blast. You truly feel like a nascar star. Do recommend that they let u do 2 practice laps than your 8 min. He felt he just got comfortable than it was over. Not for the week but for the strong nascar heart!

I bought a groupon or buy with me special for the 5 min. experience for my husband for Father's Day. When I booked it online, I decided to upgrade it to the more popular 8 min. ride, and I am glad that I did. I also added on the 5x7/T-shirt combo. It ended up being a pricey gift, but he...
