REVIEWS OF Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town Journey IN Nevada

One of our favorite places

John van Os

We have been on this KOA from 26 September 2018 until 29 September 2018. The location is a bit further away from the Strip, but we liked it very much. Sam's Town hotel with a large casino with food courts is a 10-minute walk away. The large Walmart is also within walking distance. The facilities were fine and the staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay and the excellent help.

Rachel Wagner

Staff was super pleasant...we enjoyed our stay.

Laney Levine

Great oasis in the summer heat. Really nice KOA. Clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Eric Peterson

Great park quiet close to the Sams Town Casino with available shuttles for trips down to the strip.

richard Long

Very nice place and KOA is attentive and security is obvious and for that reason we try and stay with KOA.

Jim Grafford

This park is well maintained. There are several different spots to suite all RV travelers.

David Bayba

The main advantage in staying here is the very reasonable price on weekends/ holidays compared to Vegas hotels that skyrocket their prices (also no hidden resort fees)

Robert Dean

Reasonable prices. Dog poo in gravel by pool house. Good sized spaces.

Dalit Levy

Amazingly quiet although full. Nice deal - 4th night free.

Andrea Dixon

Close but alternating made the "parking lot" less offensive. Accommodating staff were responsive to our needs. Pool, spa and restrooms were clean and well kept, laundry was inexpensive and VERY EFFICIENT. The gratis shuttle to and from the strip saved us money, parking hassles and added to the "VEGAS" experience

Pamela Curtis

Very clean and nice place to stay. We will stay here again.

Joseph Gill

Awesome to see a koa in a Vegas casino parking lot. Check this place out a cool casino cheap eats good people

Amanda Bispo

Great place to stay away from the strip. Lots of sirens because of the busy highway, but that can't be helped. Loved the dog parks!

rene Gonzales

I must say this is a great place to stay! Very helpful staff, nice clean RV park, fenced in dog park, and Christina at front desk has helped me above and beyond!!! I highly recommend this place!

Linda Franz

Just stopped for one night. Very nice facility, great bathrooms, pool and laundry!

Tyler Nofziger

They allowed me to stay there in my RVIA certified custom RV that looks like a tiny home. Any RV park that is tiny home friendly is great in my opinion! They have a good location just far away enough from the madness of the strip. Easy in and easy out. Clean rv park and very friendly staff! I got propane there which worked out really easily as well.

Irina Fendi

Great place! Very clean. Showers & bathrooms are literally SPOTLESS.

John Orem

We just stayed there a month, the park needs updating, the women's handicap bathroom was out of service all month. They are saying the WiFi was getting up dated (when). I had to clean dog poop out of my spot and cigarette butts every where. They didn't even check a spot when someone left. The crime in the area is awful, sleeping was really hard with the police sirens and helicopters going off almost every night. Never again.(the staff were really nice)

Liz Mifflin

It's a Gamble......wifi or no ??? Check in staff were very friendly & helped us get a suitable space . Thanks to Michael from the maintenance dept. You pay premium price for premium ? lot but dont expect quiet ( Vegas never sleeps and you probably won't either ) . Located at busy intersection sirens and straight pipes all night. That is actually uncontrollable by KOA, but the absence of WI-FI is. It was non exsistant, all 5 days , we complained and were told that they share with the other KOA lot beside the hotel. Sorry I don't buy that. This is Vegas & wi-fi service should be available 24-7 at STRONG signal strength.

Stephann Ibrahim

After having stayed at the thousand trails down the street on boulder hwy this KOA is a major upgrade. There are locks in the bathrooms and it feels much safer. It is also right across the street from Walmart which is very convenient if you're traveling or on vacation and need some last minute items. This place is more expensive than thousands trails but totally worth it.

Maciej Majewski

Claen and close enough to the Strip to use Uber

Brandon._. Rizo

Amazing place to go and great customer service

sammie steinborn

Nice sites And clean Showers and nice size swimming pool And friendly staff.

Deborah Lown

Love this KOA, staff great, slots flat, bathrooms very clean

Lisa Bartha-Aarhus

Very very accommodating! Staff is courteous and they take time to explain the perks Sam's Town offers guests. Dog park on site and grounds are well kept.

Florez16

Great site, staff was helpful even after we pulled in after check in was closed. Definitely staying there again

Karen DelRaso

Let me start by saying this place is not pet friendly! We were called (very rudely) to come back and handle our dogs because there was a complaint that our dogs were barking. We get back...nothing...they weren't barking. The guy who apparently knocked on the door said they were...well hello!?! You knocked on the door. Then you have the people who live there right next to us getting mad because we are parked in our spot and they couldn't move around their other car. Then one of the washers has a coin unit not working properly so it eats your money. Instead of putting a sign on the washer itself saying there is a problem they are happy with the generic one on the wall about any washer. Why don't you just fix it instead of being rude when you're asked why it took your money and can I have it back (which they won't do). Back to the dogs... on our last night, we had to leave from visiting my elderly mother in law because again, we got a call (very rudely) saying our dogs were barking. I asked her about the dogs that bark all day long and her reply was "oh, I don't think so, goodbye!" Be prepared for your dogs being blamed for other dogs barking! We came back, stood out there for 5 minutes, nothing! We purposely kept the blinds and windows closed with the air unit on and the tv on so the dogs couldn't hear any outside noise (kids running under our underhang, other dogs barking..) My husband was so mad he drove over to talk to security. They said the dogs weren't barking until they knocked on the door. Mind you, not all the employees were bad, but a few was a few too many. We were also denied the cheaper month rate because they said they couldn't accommodate (so we stayed 3 weeks to visit family) however, the north park we stayed in was only 70% full. Half of which were people living at the park, in run down rvs. Never again will we stay here! Did I mention the all day and night sirens?? The people jumping the barbed wire fence?? Not the best part of town.

David Jennings

Does not accommodate camper vans, even though you can reserve through the website. They only accommodate camper vans with companies they have an agreement with. They would not allow us to stay our full reservation, resulting in us having to waste an entire day and lots of money trying to find alternate accommodation on a Saturday.

Timmy Key

(Update Below)Have not stayed there yet. Have reservation booked. I called and talked to Katrina and she was very nice, very helpful, and was even able to apply a discount that the website did apply when I booked the reservation. I will be adding to my review once we stay there. UPDATE. We stayed there over the weekend. It was a nice spot with really nice people. Only things that could have made the stay better was if there was more trees that shaded the trailers as well as a stronger internet signal. Dropping from a 5 Star to a 4 star (4.5 if they gave the option.)

Minerva Dunn

Very friendly and let you have your fun. The rooms are very clean. I live in Vegas & still get roos at Sam's Town..

Kodi Hamill

Pretty good KOA and excellent prices. The staff were nice and the campground is pretty clean. My only complaint would be that the pool area is a little weathered looking. But overall great experience.

Jason Bethune

Nice campground and well maintained at good rates. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is because the spots are little cramped, but not bad. I've been in a lot tighter spaces. Also, if a space with shade is open, try and get it. Very hot in the open. Wouldn't hurt if they planted a few more trees in areas that they could.

Tom Distad

A nice enough RV Park, but if you are looking for peach and quiet, bring ear plugs. You are either near the street, or nestled among the big rigs that seem to be washed daily by Red Rock RV wash.. I wonder if they cannot afford quieter pressure washers...

Mike Doyle

Really nice camp ground right next to Sams town

Lynn Buff

Wonderful campground very nice an quit

Denise Woodward

Really enjoyed the couple days we spent here.Staff were great and facilities spotless. Casino and restaurants next door all excellent, all round great place to stay

Joe Hopp

This was actually a very welcome good time! The rv park was clean and friendly except for the fact we got a spot next to the animal park and our dog wouldn't settle. The casino is a short walk away and we actually won some much needed funds. The buffet smelled and looked good but the line was out the door and we decided to eat in the food court. The food was good there and they had good cuisine choices. Enjoyed our visit!#!

Gary Salo

Great place to stay, staff here is excellent Clear restrooms. 2 large arias for dogs. Close to stores, plus free shuttle to strip and Fremont street.

Robert Northrup

Need trailer 10 years or newer for monthly rates. But on the positive note they will let you stay for 3 weeks if you pay there daily rate. Discrimination, you decide.

Mikey Davies

Loved this place! Staff where great, facilities sorted! Site placement sorted! And the people that were stopping there were nice too.. I would recommend this place to anyone ♥️

John Shoemaker

Nice clean rv park

Steve Turner

The best RV park to stay in while visiting vegas

Doug Underwood

This place is great, the sites are little close together but it's clean , set up well and close to the casino. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Stay for 3 nights get the fourth night free. Hell of a deal.

claire banks

MY PERSONAL FAVORITE. I HAVE N RV. WHEN MY FAMILY COMES TO VISIT OR I WANT A BREAK FROM MY FAMILY I PARK AT THE HOA SAMS TOWN. THE CASINO IS AMAZING. A MUST GO TO PLACE FOR ITS ABILITY TO ENCHANT YOU WITH THEIR MYSTIC FALLS PARK.

Gudrun Hirning

Very convenient place, with shuttle busses to the strip.

Danny Crossno

Checked in late and had good help ,tell you more when we check out

Lorenzo Suazo

Great staff, very clean, and felt safe staying in a shady part of town

Jason Colson

Great RV park for the price and nice pool

Tery Orman

All the people that are leaving reviews except for a few, is the manager and all the people already staying here with older rigs because they work here again personally I think this is discrimination

Steve Fleury

My wife and I stayed at Sam's Town Journey last night. The check-in process was easy, the sites are PERFECTLY flat, the rest rooms clean and the wifi works well. There are other amenities that we didn't use but my suspicion is they were top notch. There is even a movie theater next door and a Walmart (for those trailer-related needs) across the street. To be clear, this is not camping, it's the RV equivalent to a hotel, so if that's what you are looking for, look no further.

Connie Clark

Great staff. Katrina thank you for finding me the best deal for my stay. The park is clean the rest rooms also. The park has a nice dog park and people are very considerate of taking turns with their animals and picking up after them.

A Stokes

Staff is fantastic especially Katrina! Nice and clean and very well supervised! Wouldn't stay at any other RV park in Vegas!

Jean Hanchett

Park was clean. The employees were ultra nice. 1st night was on a Saturday night. Lots of traffic noise outside the park. Rebooked a 2nd night on a Thursday. Traffic noise was not that noticeable. We will diffinetly stay there again. We have recommended to family and friends.

Rick Shook

The location is great; being able to walk to Sam's Town was very convenient. The staff was efficient and courteous. HOWEVER, the sites are very small and completely lacking in amenities. There are no tables, barbecues, firepits, etc. at any site.

Vanessa Perez

Its great if you have a newer Rv but if its 96 or older your screwed and theres not alot of places that take older Rvs. My rv is a 96 and in much better shape than most rvs that age and it still wont be allowed in.

Scott Statson

Pulled into the campground in the middle of the night thinking it was just for overnight. Found Sam's Town to be a great place, not a lot of trees to shade from the heat but the location is good. Walked to the casino and had fun. There is a movie theater in the casino and lots to do. Walmart across the street. We extended our stay for several days and looking forward to stopping back in again.

Jeremy Heinrichs

Nice staff, not much for kids and not enough bathrooms.

Reece Terrell

More like d.o.a little more 2mph on,tha things offers to do better for over tha hill old

beans rice

The guy who directed us to our spot was very helpful and informative.

Steve Otterbein

Clean. Friendly staff. It was a bit confusing finding the correct entry, as the GPS can not zero-in on precise coordinates.

Kc Kay

Great RV park, clean, friendly staff, a shuttle that takes you to the strip or downtown. Nice pool and hot tub, really has everything you need.

Pastor Waldo Barela

It was a good short stay but only had limited mens room near registration. If you are looking for a brief stop on a long journey, this is a good short stop.

Dahkota

Better than expected. We had no problem getting into or out of our 70' pull through in the boulder hwy area. Sites were very close but the dog runs were great and the place was clean.

gary nipp

Great rv park......staff was great. sites were perfect. Angry Butcher restaurant has GREAT FOOD and great prices at 4-6pm in the cooler outdoor patio.Free shuttle to strip.

James Stein

As KOA parks go, this is one of the best we've encountered. Well organized and clean.

Derold Jensen

Great place to stay

chinkee tan

Very nice entertaining stress free place To go with the Family and friends

Hervé Deschamps

Very large places with plenty of space to manœuvre for a 42 feet RV. Shops close, gas station with Diesel around the corner.

Willem Achternaam

The camping ground was perfect but the WiFi is terrible. Speed is not great and its hard to connect to the WiFi

Pchere Hughes

Very cool location a little risky other than that grrat

Cindy Deeds

Very friendly. Clean this was the 2 year we will return

Judy Hanson

Great spot, great service, pleasant staff, marvelous pool and hot tub.

Richard Valentine

Nice level sites, convenient hookups, very nice facility, easy walk to Casino.

Mary Jo Cline

Very nice place , staff was very nice and friendly, nice pool , nice laundry area! Very Clean , feels safe here Security was excellent!

heather hall

Very quiet for las Vegas. 70 foot pull throughs. Dog run. Walk to restaurant and of course casino

Rick Francis

Really nice park with tremendous staff!

Debra Swann

Great KOA! It has a nice pool, bathrooms, and laundry. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The campground is located across from a Walmart and there are RV parts within walking distance. The casino is convenient and a shuttle is provided I you want to visit the strip or Fremont.

jordan leonard

This is one of the best KOAs I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is awesome, Katrina at the front desk and the manager Chris were both especially kind and accommodating while we dealt with some unexpected car troubles. The facilities are great and the price is right. Will be back!

Benny King

Spots are very close together. All gravel. No escort to site. I didnt need it, but other may. I wont stay here again. Not your typical KOA. Pool was nice.

Rob Hameluck

We were in the Nellis KOA. was this the best RV park/campground I have been in, not even close. However, the purpose for my stay was to enjoy the strip. Our daughter and her boyfriend came with us from Arizona. We are Canadian snowbirds heading back north. We needed a hotel close to an RV park. This was a perfect fit. Not knowing the property, we needed to drop her off at the hotel to check in but needed to wait as here luggage was in our trailer. Only spot we could find to park was the valet parking which was empty. Security dude rode up on hid bike and I thought I was in for a lecture but his only concern was the clearance for me to get under the front entrance overhang. He said he would stay with us until our daughter checked in and then he would guide us to our RV park. Very friendly guy and knowledgeable about local history. Very positive start to our stay. Got into our site. We only slept and had breakfast there so no big deal. No security issues. The shuttle to the strip was great. The young man on the evening shift driving the shuttle was an absolute pleasure to ride with. The Sam's Town hotel and casino was very clean and a quiet change from the strip. Would recommend this and would definitely stay again.

Mike Watts

Packed in pretty tight. But it does the job for the night

Linda S. Hammons

Helpful staff, decent rv park and laundry, free rides to casino door from your site day and night.

Jose Bernardi

One of the best in Las Vegas area, friendly staff and excellent service and location

Bart Lanzillotti

I love KOAs because of their easy large sites and hookups.

Stampin Craze

I erased my earlier post to edit and give a more thorough explanation of what is going on at Sam’s Town KOA and how they are continuing to harass us here. Please take note when reading this that we have paid to stay here, we are here for work so we can’t just up and leave we are stuck here until July 3rd. On June 28th we were approached by Jennie and Dwayne because my husband had his truck parked in front of our trailer they advised him to move it and he agreed. Then Jennie started saying that we had only one vehicle registered, we advised her that we had window tags for each vehicle and had both registered. Jennie then started asking if anyone slept in my daughters high top van (it looks like it could be) we advised her it was not for travel but my daughter drives it back and forth to work. Jennie then said that they had gotten a complaint that the a/c on daughters van was running, no it is broken does not work. Jennie then stated that we had the van hooked up because we had an extension cord that was plugged into our TT which we ran into her van to charge a computer. We tried several times explaining that an extension cord does not hook a van up so it can run anything. I tried several times asking so if I sit outside with the extension cord plugged into our TT and have a computer on my lap plugged in is that ok? Jennie kept cutting me off she was getting upset and she would not answer my question. She would only say that I was being confrontational, I was not, I was asking if we could do that or not. Jennie then walked over to the golf cart that her and Dwayne had showed up in and started pacing around muttering and acting extremely upset. Dwayne kept looking over at me saying things like “its ok I’ll keep her calm” “I’ll contain her” etc. Like I was going to be physically attacked by Jennie. During this exchange we advised Jennie that there was another van/TT parked in the park where there was sleeping going on in the van and the travel trailer. Jennie said that van only pulled the TT and was not used for sleeping at all. My daughter went and took a video of the a/c running in the van. We knocked on the van door and asked if the man slept there, he advised us he did sleep there. We showed that video to the manager Chris who was on duty and was advised they would take care of that issue. Nothing has been done. We thought all was settled Today June 30 My daughter and I were awakened by Chris accusing us of going around the KOA asking people questions. He didn’t say what questions we were asking people just that we were asking them questions. We advised him we had not asked anyone any questions this morning. He then proceeded to tell us that the video we took was illegal and we needed to delete it immediately, we didn’t answer him. He started looking around our TT and saw some old curbing that we use for weights Chris started asking us where we got the curbing and it needed to be put back. I told him we got it somewhere else. He was accusing us of digging their curbing up. I don’t know how we would do that but hey. Now my husband is going to take the next two days off work so I won’t be here alone. My husbands and daughters work is why we are here.

Mary-Margaret DelliCarpini

We enjoyed this park. The way the trailers were parked no-one had to look at the hook ups. Very thoughtfully done. Very clean and quiet

Judith Kirkness

Not much grass but well run park. We were in town for a convention and for those four days we stayed in town at the convention hotel. We stayed at Sam's Town KOA before and after the conference. The restrooms are very clean and laundry facilities are good. There are no picnic tables and most spots have little if any grass as it is more of a converted parking lot. They have good presence of staff around and they were very accommodating to allowing us to pay $10/night for storing the trailer while we weren't staying in it. I felt very safe walking around at night alone.

Qt Pi

This place is very nice and clean.

Kimberly Sumner

Love this place stayed last Halloween and prior times. Staff is always great and place is maintained beautifully. All convenience right there you could want!!

Robert Paretti

Great RV park for a trip to Vegas

Chris Spencer

Great places for dinner, gambling or just hanging out for the wonderful atmosphere.

Maggie Mynier

Easy access and great stay

Cheryl Fisher

Enjoyed my stay here. Full hookups, showers, bathroom, pool

Penny Kitchener

Ppl. We arrived for a couple of days. We loved it so much we are spending the rest of our holidays in USA in this beautiful country. I'd like to say, thank you to Katrina. You are the most thoughtful, efficient, intelligent and lovely person we have encountered on our 2 month travels. The park is clean, heaps of shade and friendly staff. Highly recommend this RV Park as it is across the road from Wal-Mart and the Sam's Town Casino.

Rick Joseph

Very clean and prices are pretty reasonable for a Campground in a big area.

Jens Kowalke

A very good and very clean RV Side in Las Vegas. Directly connected to the Sam Town's Casino which is also very nice with a great buffet. Free Shutle Service to the Strip and to Fremont Street. I loved my stay there

Geoff Matthews

Wonderful place to stay Close to everything. Lovely clean toilets and showers. Free shuttle bus into the strip.

L D Smith

Well run park but a little spendy.

ron wiley

Great place to stay in right next door to the casino

Larry Pich

Good place to stay when passing through. Not just a huge blacktop like other places, which is nice. Dog area was a bonus as well.

susan johnson

It would probably be a good place to stay IF you were near the front. We were near the road in the back and heard ambulances and trucks and motorcycles all night. But a Big plus was that we decided not to stay another night and they refunded all but 10.00. So thank you for that.

Craig Skaggs

Nice. Quiet and clean. I'd stay there again.

Donal Frigerio

Clean, customer service great, large site

Anton T. F. Broker

Very confienence special with the full hook ups.

jose rojas

Staff are nice and the camp ground is well clean.

Manfred Wieser

Very nice and clean campground attached to a Casino. You are lucky when you get a site with some tree shade - there aren't too many. Sewer system seems to be improved. Pool and SPA OK, but too small when the campground is full. Staff is friendly and responsive when you have a Problem. Free Shuttle Service to Strip and Downtown. This is our spot when we visit Las Vegas. Where Herr in a motorhome end of July 2019

Frank Garay

I stay here on my week out at Least twice a month and absolutely love it. It's a huge park with very clean bathrooms , Pool / Jacuzzi and awesome laundry rooms .

jacob flory

Clean showers, pool, hot tub. Feels secure, did not seem a shady area as some reviewers suggest. Everything near by to restock a camper. ( Propane, rv store, etc.)

Raquelli Ganel

A large parking lot with a pool and a bath house. Ok for an urban RV campground.

Steve Jenkins

Very nice people, clean, if it only had good wifi

Jay Vivero Relph

Close enough but far away from the strip.

Sterling Code

This is a very nice campsite in Las Vegas. Full hookups in good condition, the pool area was well maintained and the staff were mostly friendly. I would stay here again if i was traveling via RV through Las Vegas.

Dusty Lamb

Great place to stay staff so nice

Maťo Kyrcz

The best place I ever stayed at during my road trip. Amazing and friendly stuff at the front desk :-) Cool location, showers, swiming pool....everything super cool :-)

Leslie Hall

Great place to stay.

Keith Bevan

Very convenient to the casino, friendly staff, close to downtown Vegas without the noise. Sites are ok, clean.

Cyndi Gruber

I stopped by to visit a friend who was traveling through town with her family. The rv park was decent, the pool was small but pretty clean. It was a bit windy so it had some understandable debris. We chatted with another family staying in the park and they really enjoyed it. My friend's family stays here every time they are in town. I don't own an rv so i don't know any details about that side of it. Only reviewing as a guest.

Catrina Robertson

This is a real nice campground to take your family clean quiet felt very comfortable in my RV in the middle of Vegas

Dick Goodrick

Nice clean reasonable RV Park. Spaces are very close together.

Holly Horton

Pet friendly, with great off leash area, any amenities you need within walking distance.

claire paulic-garnier

Great RV park! Great swimming pool with Jacuzzi if the weather is not too hot! Service was perfect, if you need anything they've got you! Toilets and Showers are clean! + Free shuttle to the Strip or Downtown!

Bobbie Woodruff

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Campgrounds was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms and showers were decent. Only problem was the backside of the bathrooms bu the office could see into the men and women's showers if the windows for ventilation were open. We closed the windows all was gr ewwat.

Linda Scott

Lots of large parking areas. We have a 45' rig that we pull with a small semi & have no problem pulling through. Full hookups, bath house and pool.

Lennart Benoot

Great RV camping site at reasonable distance to Vegas downtown and strip. There a free bus from and to Vegas city every few hours. Nice and helpful staff. During hot summer days the pool is definitely a pro! For those who look for a casino and entertainment nearby, visit Sam's right nextdoor.

Stephanie Bower

Really nice clean park to stay at. Not the friendliest staff this last stay which was a shame but it's Nice to be so close to Sam's Town

Pamela Patton

The staff is very nice. They all like dogs. They are helpful with reservations and finding a spot that works for you. More big Rig spaces with some shade would be great.

Rodney Martin

Great KOA Park, very friendly & accommodating Staff.

Stephanie Coleman

Just basically a gravel parking lot with bathrooms. My shower did not have good water pressure, but bathrooms were clean. Loved the location though. Sams town is amazing. Went to the movies twice. Used our ticket stub to get a free game of bowling. Ate there. Used the free shuttle to go downtown and to the strip.

E M

The have no security at all. There's no cameras and people's things are stolen all the time. They do nothing about it. There's only one entrance/exit, not even a camera there, and the casino has no cameras on that side of the property. Anyone can be wandering around this campground at anytime and the owners/employees do not care. They say "well, it is a city" which is exactly the reason they should have at least basic security measures.

Hilda van Malsen

Very noisy but great swimming pool and hot tub.

Bert Holley

Very Fun and Convenient to Sams Town

Michael Boyle

We enjoyed our stay, felt safe enough, and within close proximity to lots of services, not to mention the casino. Which was pretty nice as well. Friendly staff, clean facilities, including the pool. Have to consider this RV park is in the middle of a major city. Kind of an oasis surrounded by cement.

Jerry Miller

Place is awesome and friendly.

Barbara Hartness

Very nice. Great pool. Staff are very helpful and nice. Spots a little closer than we're used too.

Sjoerd de Wildt

Nice campground right next to hotel/casino Sam's Town, where you can do lots of fun things. Sanitary is OK. From here it is a 30 minute ride with the free shuttle bus to the Strip and the Fremont Street Experience. Moreover, it is a convenient location if you rented your RV from Cruise America and have to hand it in at the end of your stay. Price: $28 Equipment: RV (24 ft.) Type of spot: Front-in W/E/S Amenities: WiFi, Propane, Swimming pool

Carla McG

Good site, we stayed for 2 NIGHTS. It felt safe, plenty of staff around to help. Sights are a little close together but it's what youd expect at a city location. Clean facilities and free shuttle bus to the strip and downtown. We did need to get a cab home from downtown after we missed the last bus but it only cost $11

Susanne Frazier

Stayed here several times, always have liked this place. This summer we had three bikes stolen and two of them were locked up...come to find out..several people had bikes stolen as well...you would think that because there is so much crime in the surrounding area, they would have cameras! Won’t stay there again!

Buddy Wheeler

Nice sites and not very noisy considering it’s proximity to the road and a casino. Great vegan food options close by as well.

Lynne Metz

Access to casino. Half hour by free shuttle to strip and Fremont St. Meals good and reasonably priced. RV park price cheap and ammenities excellent. Pretty hard to top

Sandra Rogers

Love the fact we can use our free hotel nights at the RV Park. Close proximity to the Casino & attractions in LV. Quiet place to stay. Clean bathrooms.

S L

GREAT TIME. People nice and pool area excellent. Bathrooms clean.

Rudys Fabrication

Very clean and well maintained park, staff was super friendly. We had a blast staying here. Only down side is no play area for the kids and the sites are a little narrow. Pool, jacuzzi and showers are outstanding plus the office is open to 9pm. Walmart being across the street as well as being walking distance to Sam's Town is awesome. Lots of grass 2 huge dog runs that are covered. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you KOA Sam's Town for being so accommodating on short notice.

Ruth Stephens

Great price. Casino right next door. Clean restroom and shower. Wonderful staff.

Larry Smith

The staff....especially the night security man....are extremely helpful and friendly. The park is well cared for....tremendously so! It's been years since I last stayed here and I made sure that I found it again on this trip because it is just the best feeling to be here.

Nichelle Inman

Friendly staff. Easy check in. I would have given it a 4 star rating but we were on the other side across the street from the casino and that side was a little more run down. Older rigs there that were obviously full time tenants. Not kept up. There was a huge curb to maneuver the rig over to park and so alot of things got thrown around inside or rig. Overall good stay. They have a shuttle at casino that you can use for free to take you into downtown and drops you at Harrah's and Fremont. They was really nice and then we didn't have to drive in the Vegas crazy traffic .

Jimmy Skelton

Nice rv park, has room for big rigs.

Heidi Siebert

I can not believe I was treated the way I was tonight. This was going to be my second KOA stay. My first was this place less than a week ago. We have a converted sprinter van we stay in and a nice truck and trailer traveling with. We made reservations and reminded them who we were and that we were bringing the same equipment. I have not slept in over 24 hours and have been working 12-16 hour shifts. I just wanted a safe place to sleep and a shower for two nights. The lady treated me like I was a violent criminal. Never again will I go to any of these campgrounds.

The good is location , clean facilities and friendly staff. The bad is very poor wifi ,pool and hot tub has been closed for a month and the gravel around the sites is crushed concrete that tracks into your rv .

Sams Town KOA is great. The staff is friendly and informative. The wifi is not great, and don't bother paying for the upgrade because it's no better... but is good inside the main building or sites close to it. Our first lot was a bit too close to the dump station and they moved us to a spot that worked for us. We discovered that most RV parks in the area seem to have lower weekly rates but they have hidden charges charging for electrical, water and sewer. This KOA offers inclusive weekly rates. Also the casino has a lot of character and good amenities.

Really nice, neat and clean...just make sure you can hook up probably. The sites have a single hook up for each two sets of sites. I had to move because one of my hoses was too short no matter how I situated the RV. Really nice pool and bathhouse.

Thanks for the community and the greatest day

I would have given it a 4 star but our bike was cut off the Yakima secure bike rack on our trailer. "They cut through the cable and a portion of the rack". We specifically chose this facility due to some of the other crime issues being reported elsewhere. The laundry facilities and bathrooms were clean and good customer service. Not a secure place even if your things are locked up. We were even in the trailer sleeping.

Basic RV camping. But next to Sams Town.

Kind of ok..... We didn't find a better RV park near Casino. It's kind of a sketchy walk to the casino. If you talk to the after hours people or security they will give you a ride to the casino. Tipping is not required but we always do. I will definitely stay there again unless I can find something better.

Great and helpful stuff. Have free shuttle to the strip. Wallmart is across the road.
