Here you will be able to see all the information of real people like you who consume the services of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest (Park) in the state of Nevada.
At the present this firm receives a score of 4.7 over 5 and that score has been based on 7231 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is almost the highest, and it's founded on a very large number of scores, so we can say that the evaluation is very accurate. If people have bothered to leave their opinion when they are satisfied, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Park is included in the category of National forest.
Had nice trees, unlike BLM land.
So beautiful up here! I was camping at Trumbull Lake, and went to fish Virginia lakes. We tried Trumbull lake, and it was crazy fun! I was bummed to leave, so I am trying to get up there again before the season closes. I will Definatly be going a few times next year and so on! This is my Mom's favorite place, she has passed now. But she is up there still! I Highly give this area 2 thumbs up!
Fun hike! Not to often do yiu find an alpine trail that is moderate to easy. The Galena Fall were beautiful.
Beautiful NF with plenty of places to camp.
Why can we say? ...Unexpectedly Awesome!
Place is great to get away to. My favorite forest
One of the most amazing wilderness areas in America. It has a little bit of everything for everyone looking to get outdoors.
im not gonna put a bad review on something i didnt enjoy . i drove threw it but it was nice.
Pretty narrow trail if you're in a 2008Chevy Silverado 1500. I would recommend one of the following instead. Bicycle (appropriate type), dirt bike, side-by-side, or an off-road vehicle rated to get through some touch spots. You definitely need off road tires and must be experienced.
Great hiking trail. Lovely views. I'll be back.
This place is beautful so worth the drive next time we gonna camp here
Cathedral rock trail was fantastic with all of aspen trees in their golden glory!! Spectacular scenery on this moderate mountain trail!!
Went across Wheeler pass and had a great time. Recommend if you have 4 wheel drive.
Stunning, stunning and can’t wait to go back. Love North Lake Tahoe.
You can always enjoy every season as you drive many of the great trails through this beautiful Forest. There is a great stream here and there to stop and splash around in or camp near depending on weather. I love riding my quad down all the roads because there is plenty to see everywhere you go. I would recommend the summer months because the camping is awesome and i always go back.
Small well-maintained area - a great way to get away from the Vegas Strip, only a short drive, less than an hour away from the noise with lots to see, wildlife, trails, and quiet.
River is great to soak in and there's lots of things to do in the area like Grover hot springs
Great wilderness area. Best way to see it is in a Jeep or other 4wheeler. Great wild flowers...and sometimes even wild horses. Go prepared with water, food and a spare tire. It's one of my favs!
This drive was very beautiful, such a great little side road.
Such a beautiful place! My family loves to camp here.
Well maintained trail with great wildlife and wildflowers. Beautiful view from the Mt. Rose summit.
Seen a lot of forest fire damage. They need signs telling you what the turn in is for half dome. Beautiful day
So we went rock climbing and it was amazing. To get to the rocks we passed a meadow and a small stream of very cold refreshing water. Then up and around and we were there. Such a beautiful spot. And the view on the way! Rocks were super easy and very short climbs. But it was fun to sit and enjoy nature. MUST BRING MASQUITO SPRAY. THERE ARE TONS. EVEN THOUGH WE USED IT WE STILL GOT BIT.
Great trails to walk n take your dogs to get out of city area peacful quite. There's also a restroom area. Great photos places there also several different trails to walk
We just had to stop here on our way to Sand Harbor despite the reviews at SH advising to arrive early. The snow and trees were so beautiful and looked to be an easy "hike". Glad we did! Lots of laughs and memories made.
This is not a singular place but it is a VAST area of public land filled with recreational possibilities of your choosing. But choose carefully and lawfully. I enjoy spending days here with my family as do many, many others. Don't spoil it!!
I called their customer service number before going and explained what I needed , I realized I was speaking to an answering service in another country, they struggled to explain to me that they were not at the store, but that my closest store should have the part. (Useless). The greeter at the door had no idea where to send me, she just guessed, the second was great and walked me over to the correct area. But overall they don't carry what I needed, the third guy didn't listen to what I needed and tried to sell me only half of a combination of stuff to try and make it work. Frustrating.
Amazing views, climb the rocks if you're up to it!
Nice place for a getaway. Gasoline was high in Bridgeport @ $5.19 p/g. Cheeper at twin lakes marina
The forest is good. The trees is good for earth. Trees cleans the air. Cools the earth. And makes water. Look at the rain forest. They cutting it down. And burning it up. The clean air and the rain is going away. They need to plant more trees. Save the earth.
Great place to escape Las Vegas for a minute and cool down. Both physically and mentally.
Had a good time on Fletcher Trail today. It was warm enough for no or light jacket. Snow melt is creating river on the trails to add to the scenery. The Lodge is open and serving up food. Be mindful of the snow still on the trails this time of year.
Truly a Wonder in Nevada such a gorgeous place right next to Las Vegas minutes away
Pretty scenic paths. Inspired me to work out more so I could live up to challenge of going further on the Tahoe Rim Trail.
So beautiful. Perfect place to take pictures and just enjoy nature.
Love the outdoors and this was X12 hunting zone it's beautiful I love it there!
Depends on where you go but usually they are good
Yea google said I have been but I'm 2000 miles away :) looks good
Beautiful trail to the water falls halfway to Mt Rose summit.
Love the outdoors and good fishing, this is a must see. Killer offroading, swimming in a creek. Rocks, bugs, dirt, rocks ND mountains. Not for extreme city folk as no cell service or bathrooms. Pack it in pack it out.
We passed the trail to Big Falls the first time but then saw the rock markers and we're able to navigate up the gully and to the left and up the trail to big falls. Nice smaller waterfall before you head up to big falls. Harder hike once you hit the little falls but beautiful
We camp here every summer as a family. We always have a great time. Everyone seems to be conscious of packing out what they pack in. The well has so many fans and people willing to drop what they are doing and make sure it keeps flowing year after year. Can't wait till the next time we head up.
Did a quick two mile hike here. Was our warm up the day before heading to Zion. Nice views and good trail. No parking issues on a Thursday. Stopped at the lodge a little further up the hill as well.
Such a beautiful place to visit. Came on a Friday to get out of the city and it did the job with it's beautiful views. Easy trail walks on the Tahoe Rim Trail. Love living on Reno because I can escape to the mountains in about 30 min.
Jack's Valley Trail has awesome views of Carson Valley! Easy trail. It can be taken all the way to Tahoe. Obviously, the trail would become much tougher with a lot of climb. However, the views and wildlife along the way would be captivating!
Would be a wonderful place if people knew how to drive the speed limit and enjoy family time like Americans used too
Just go to this place and you'll understand why it's so incredible.
Was driving through so we stopped here to look around and enjoy Nature's Beauty.
Wish I could have spent more time here. We only stayed one night. Clean quiet site with beautiful views.
This area is always gorgeous but late July/early August it is absolutely full of monarch butterflies. It's so incredibly beautiful and peaceful this time of year. I can't recommend it enough!
Great escape from Vegas heat in the summer. Beautiful are. This is from wheeler's pass (high clearance 4x4 recommended)
Beautiful place to visit and relax in mother nature s home!
We were on the Faye-Luther Trail. What a great trail system. Started on the Sandy Trail to the Valley Loop Trail, going back on the Lonesome Trail. Beautiful views of the Carson Valley.
So beautiful. High Sierra lakes, fishing and hiking.
Such a beautiful Park. We enjoy coming here every year. I kind of don't want to let anybody else know how good it is.
Absolutely gorgeous! The most scenic views you could ever imagine. Snow topped mountain ranges, a flowing river, camp sites, and you can view the valley from the amazing pull outs along the roadway. There is an 8% grade on the 88 south of Markleeville, so low gear is recommended. But is is absolutely worth the drive.
National forest with many beautiful campsites.
We did visit a section on the National Forest near Las Vegas, very scenic
Challenging hiking trails that offer stunning views and a great place to escape the Heat in Las Vegas in the summer. It was 110 degrees in Las Vegas the day I took these pictures 78 degrees up on the mountain
Decent spot. Nothing to write home about
Beautiful views, and a long hike if you want to go the whole way. Plenty of small lakes and a big lake if you want to take a swim. Right now the flowers are beautiful and you will run in to some snow.
This place is like a magical forest just outside the valley.
The views from some of the mountain top stops are incredible and the temperature was 75゚ in July at 8000'
Found this spot by accident and it was an amazing trip thru. I would highly recommend checking it out
Beautiful, scenic, off the beaten path trails. A must do if you want to get away
Very cool scenery watch out for snakes seen a couple
Pretty beautiful trails are marked well and easy to follow. Many options. And parking is easy if you are there on a non busy time and day. Not all trails have restrooms though
Beautiful scenery. Fresh air. Gods glory.
Awesome part of God's country
Very beautiful scenery. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Good place to hike, camp or just picnic.
This is an amazing and undersold place that doesn't see as many people as it could. You can actually be alone in this forest of you choose to. The scenery is amazing and beautiful. #scenic #letsguide
More beauty and recreation opportunities than ever imagined
Beautiful area. Views were great. Whether was fantastic.
We LOVED camping here. It is not radio or dog free, but all the campers there were so friendly and courteous that it wasn't an issue. It was peaceful and quiet. Epic star gazing. Wonderful hiking. The bugs weren't bad at all, but we did need a little spray to stay comfortable. Can't wait to go back.
Had a great ride that day through the area
Took lucky boy pass East from Hawthorne on dirt road that in good shape. No 4x4 needed. Beautiful day. Intended to go a ghost town out there but started out to late in the day. Beautiful views and awesome scenery.
Some parts are prettier than Yosemite, without all of the traffic and less tourists so it's still possible to get a wilderness experience.
Great trail. No shade in the first section but you can hear the creek the whole way and there's a gorgeous waterfall at the end.
The trails are well maintained ( I'm guessing thanks in part to the rangers from Berlin) but well maintained regardless. Great wildlife, great natural experience. Found some odd plant life, let me know if you recognize it! Only bad thing was getting buzzed by a jet out of Fallon, but the kid enjoyed it.
Beautiful drive up to Lake Alpine... Silver Creek looks good to camp... But no water... Bring your own
Accessible wilderness and quiet camping. Cool summer temps. Fishing and hiking too.
Nice easy trail with small streams all throughout the hike. Dog friendly as well except no poopy bags so bring your own!
Nice trees and rocks. Beautiful and mostly quiet.
Loved driving through the mountain roads! The tall pines and the viewing areas made me feel like I was somewhere upstate NY. It's just nice out there!!
Great place to hike. Although there was still plenty of snow in spots in early May we had no real problem getting to the falls.
Walking and driving here is amazing. The trees never seem to end and the hills go in forever.
We visited the forest in the south near Las Vegas. Beautiful wilderness. It looks alot like the Sierra Nevada in CA state.
Just WOW!! Nature is always great to look at; but in certain areas, these are especially true on the outset of the seasons. Winter, spring, summer, fall. Doesn’t matter. Try to get there on the first few weeks of that season and you get the perfect blend of two seasons. Visit in March and you can still see snow mountains but simultaneously enjoy the sprouting green trees in the river side. Visit in August and the cool and refreshing breeze combined with the awesome colors of the leaves create an awe-inspiring heavenly motif. Overall, nothing you can complain about. Ever. Somehow, Mother Nature amazes you every now and then. And this is the place to be to watch her do that.
Beautiful scenery. Great for photography. The local geology looked interesting, possibly a good place for rockhounds.
Diana's punch bowl was awesome. The taquima caves awesome too. Well worth the several hours it took to get there, visit, then come home. Weather was perfect
Awesome ohv trails here, with great views.
Beautiful area plus the perk of some good ol' Humboldt home grown ripe for your pickings in the forest. Great visuals achieved!
Toiyabe is a great forest that has a huge radius from Crystal peak Al the way to Tahoe and more please when visiting the forest take what you bring in we are losing more and more forest due to land being bought an your up and logging so the trash you bring in will make an even bigger impact just be clean and please don't trash our local forest
I absolutely love this area. It's a great recreation area for singles, families and couples. The area is scenic and beautiful. Lots of gorgeous views and scenery. The wildlife is plentiful with the farms you pass to the deer and bears that reside in the forest areas. The fishing is good, the water is cold and clear. Except for at the hot springs, they stay extremely warm. They generally have people there, but if you're lucky enough to find one with no one around, definitely sit back and take in the beautiful and unforgettable scenery while you soak in the natural and amazing hot springs.
Worth a visit if you are in the Lake Tahoe area already. I would personally not take a trip just to visit it . Pretty country.
Great hiking and utv trails. Blessed to have an area like this close to the city.
We love camping there in the Long Valley area!
Nice trail a little treacherous in places needs a little work. The falls are worthwhile to see. We went on a hot day the trail was cooler and a nice hike.
This place is great and I think that more Vegas locals should get out of the city to see the amazing beauty that we have at our doorstep. Camping here is good and the facilities are well maintained and it makes it easy. Fire pits, grills and running water. Makes the trip pretty easy as well.
Get away from the strip, see the beauty that Nevada has to offer! Great hiking, biking, sightseeing are all 40 minutes from the strip. AND it's 30 degrees cooler!
Always filled with beautiful trails and sights. Some of which require a bit of experience to scramble through while others are beyond family friendly. A great restaurant at the top of Kyle Canyon Rd to eat at, and plenty of amazing views of the valley.
Oh my God this place is so wonderfu!! I love it I want to live here forever and always!!
Mary Jane Falls, nice quick day hike. Falls running prettu much yar round, great way to get out of the heat in the summer
Amazingly beautiful. Capels Lake staff was wonderful, the whole area was clean and we'll cared for. Great job.
This place is an oasis in the desert!!! Go! Like, drop what you're doing and go! It's a solid 20°f cooler than the Vegas valley and the views are breahtaking!! Visit the lodge! Go during winter and ski! Go during summer and camp! Breathe the fresh crisp mountain air! If you're in Vegas, it's worth the short drive any day!
Beautiful country, especially in the higher elevation. A great mix of forest and desert. Lots of areas of geological interest as well!
My favorite place to take a quick trip out of the Las Vegas summer heat, or in the winter to experience a little bit of snow. It is especially easy now that the construction is done on the new Kyle Canyon exit off the 95. (That seemed to go on forever, and a time or two I missed the turn off and had to go all the way to the Lee Canyon exit (no great hardship)... not that the construction stopped me from coming up here. There are some great trails to take, all are pretty well maintained and marked. (Hiking is a favorite past time of mine.) There is hotel and a lodge where you can stay overnight if you aren't into camping both places offer good food and drinks for after a nice morning of hiking. Sometimes parking can be tricky on weekends, as space is limited and the Las Vegas Valley population is growing, but the mountain can handle only so many people. (This seems to happen mostly in the winter time when lots of people would like to spend some time playing in the snow. ) Weekends can also see parking scarce at many of the trail head parking lots. Best time to hike is mornings on the weekdays if you can swing it. One thing to note, there are no gas stations on the mountain, so plan accordingly as I have witnessed from time to time some poor soul stranded for lack of fuel. A few years ago this was a big deal, but there are gas stations near by at Sky Canyon and Durango exits as opposed to three decades ago.
Beautiful ❤️ no words can describe!
There are rocky up hill trails for hikeing and becariful of fast good looking mountain bike riders coming down. They go fast.
Well maintained trails, varied terrain and some of the best views of alpine California and Nevada. Some of the directional signs are a little tricky to read so make sure you plan your path and know your directions before you start out on the trail, getting turned around or taking the wrong fork can really ruin your day.
Its very beautiful. Definitely different than the surrounding states.
Tons of wonderful hiking trails. Amazing scenery. Lots of cute little places to stop, eat and get local information/history.
This is 9ne of the most stunning places I have ever camped. In August there is still snow on the mountains that fills the running creeks in the campgrounds. This is not a place for amenities except for the toilet seats in the outhouses; it is the place for beauty and fishing.
The aesthetics are amazing especially when you get a good view of the snowy topped mountain ranges
Beautiful wilderness. Enjoyable trails and views.
Enjoyable shade on a hot day. Plenty of space to run around.
I kept looking for the forest but there were too many trees in the way. Loved it!
Where can you start when it comes to our national parks and forest for me I love the high wild lonely Places
Such a fun time. Great getaway
Very nice.! Mother nature at her best again. Beautiful views and a slight challenge of a hiking trail. The hike was gorgeous and it was very spiritual. 4 miles in and 4 miles back it was worth the the energy to find the waterfall that awaits those who can make it to the end..
Just beautifull a most see and great place for hike and camp
The Tahoe Rim trail is a wonderful trail. A peaceful place to walk.
Beautiful views so many trails
Beautiful! West coast's finest forest. PCT trails, trout fishing, horseback riding, backpacking and camping.
Absolutely beautiful. Hiked Mary Jane falls. Great trail.. Can't believe this place is only minutes from the hot desert..
Amazing, absolutely stunning environment! I feel like sitting on the bottom of a green ocean there!
World class running trail! Eastern Sierra Beauty! Tahoe Rim Trail south from stagecoach.
Very remote and secluded. I did not see another person the day I visited. A very peaceful day. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Be aware of the remote nature of the area. No cellphone service, I couldn't even pick up an FM radio station.
A group of us took our standard hike we drove to where the forest road crosses the rim trail and the hiked a couple of miles to the Tahoe Bench. The best seat in the house.
A horse group came here a year ago. Dropped off outhouses filled them to the top and left them for a year we reported it to 3 different forest service agents nothing w as s done until we reported it to Alpine S.O. it was a federal offense let's see if there will be any prosecution of this matter
I can't say enough about it. The rain and the weather has brought the green the colors are beautiful Lakeshore full with streams are full and I think we are all just waiting until it's a little more comfortable for some of you out there to go and visit. This is the year to visit. Grab a friend, grab your girlfriend, or if you're a woman grabbed your boyfriend and enjoy wherever you grab them but when you do grab them throw them in the car get your butt up to see the green. Don't forget to make reservations oh, don't forget to bring some food to the road, don't forget the fact that ice chest, and spend some money on the way up. It's like supporting the local economies. Have fun
Absolutely beautiful-still so much green especially for August!!
Very nice hiking trails and a good cool break from the heat.
Beautiful area for family and friends together and picnic. Hiking is amazing. Our kids loved it!
Hunter Creek Trail was a long hike all the way up to the water falls. This took several hours of a hard climb to get done but it was totally worth it. Bring water, food, and sunscreen. This is more advanced than some sites report.
One of my favorite places in CA. So many gorgeous hikes and pristine mountain lakes. Early summer equals more snow, but far less trafficked trails and campsites.
Awesome!!! Great place to hike. Always 20 degrees cooler than Las Vegas in the Summer!
Beautiful, somehow it rained on me while I hiked but it was stunning
Beautiful place with amazing views. Amazing drives. Very very nice.
Beautiful and remote. If you want peace this is the place to go.
So peaceful and quiet. A much-needed Sanctuary away from the chaos.
Another peaceful natural goodie, perfect for a hike, or camping. A nice escape! We drove from Sacramento, and had a nice refreshing day here. The trails are quite enjoyable, definitely a must see if you around.
Beautiful!!! And so many trail and natural nature to see.....Amazing
Fantastic views and even better way to beat the Vegas heat
Great place for a hike! Very pretty views and paths to walk on would definitely come back here if I had the chance. Make sure your okay with altitude first and bring plenty of water and snacks.
It's a elegant posh very exclusive area, but in 5 min drive in California you can find a free beach were to swim and enjoy the lake for free!
So beautiful, The roads that get you there was the only unnatural thing there.
Such a beautiful area, lots of activities to do such as road ride climbing, hiking trails, mountain biking and trial running.
Beautiful. Beware the Chipmunks and wild horses they will raid your camp and play with your kids hula hoop LOL and don't get too close they're still wild I got charged like a dummy!!!!
Beautiful but hard to get to 4wheel drive is best and only bring what you need
How can you give nature anything other than 5 stars? This was green creek
Sonora Pass. Least traveled pass in the Sierra. So, don't go there. Leave it for those of us who know what you're missing. Stunning.
Fletcher trail. Great payoff if go to the end. Nice slot canyon
Beautiful lake, warm water. Just wish we could have stayed longer!!
I can't believe people give this less than 5 stars! Not all experiences are equal but we're rating the forest. Just skip to the pictures. Nuff said
Beautiful forest, well-paved roads (that I saw anyway), helpful rangers, great camping and hiking opportunities.
Great place to get out of the heat. Just make sure you either get there early to find a place to Park, or take the harder trails that aren't as crowded.
One of the best areas to hike in besides the views of all of the houses from Somerset and Del Webb area once you get close to mobile espectacular a huge herd of mule deer coyotes Bobcats mountain lions an occasional bear loads of crystals to find do a sharp eye in the Watershed if you are up for it and you like to try a new hobby I suggest tanning the tributary for gold there is a bunch of it there
