$24 family rate was an awesome deal! We absolutely loved the lazy river and spent the majority of our time there because the water was so much warmer than the pool. The wave pool was fun, but chilly on the day we went there...water was way cooler than in the lazy river. Slides were super fun! The six story will give you the wedgie of a lifetime though lol

Staff was awesome. Had one of my kids get a cut and they were there to help. Great place. Didn't even know we spent 3 hours there, it felt like one.

My favourite water park in Nebraska. Enjoy the Lazy River or drop down the tall slides. The staff are great with water safety and the pricing works for me.

Island Oasis is s really neat water park in Grand Island NE. It is city run with plenty of life guards which provide a very safe environment. The lazy river is my favorite feature where you ride on tubes on a winding trip under spray nozzles and through some mild Rapids. They also have a variety of slides and a very fun wave pool too. We try to take our extended family there at least once each summer. And we live over 100 miles way.

I wanted to love this place, sadly it just wasn't the case. We drove from Lincoln Nebraska to try something new!! It just wasn't for us. The large slides were painful to all 5 of us to go down bc the rough material ( I heard two other children complaining of this as well) Also I am a huge proponent of rules and safety but the level of which the life guards were yelling at people and blowing there whistle is something I have just have never seen before . It was boarder line offensive and deeply unnecessary. As many times it seemed to be at adults helping there children. I saw one woman get very embarrassed for slipping out of her tube to help her kid on the lazy river and getting yelled at by a teenager that I almost left that second. Witht said I left 2 stars instead of 1 bc we really enjoyed the concession stand! I was concerned by reviews that was going to be pricey but I thought it was incredibly reasonable and actually much cheaper than other comparable places!

Men are allowed to wear a tshirt and shorts to swim but girls have to have a swimsuit. And after paying $8 for one day, if you leave you're only allowed 15 min before you have to pay another $8 making it impossible to go buy a suit

There is something for everyone here. There are different sizes of slides, a kiddie area, an area for the older kids, a fun wave pool and the mile River. There is a picnic area and a volleyball area with sand. The lockers are a good price give them a $5 deposit, get a key and when your done give them the key and get $4 back. I travel almost 2 hours every other weekend to take my kids and see my family.

I enjoy visiting there and have a great time. It's close to home. I just wished it would stay open longer. It seems like it's only open for one month. The price for family costs a lot for it to be only open for a short while.

It's clean and well organized. The slides are well maintained and the lazy river is great if you just want to float. I guess I just get bored too easily. The lines can be quite long and there's not enough variety of activities.

This place is fun dont get me wrong but i feel like they could add another pool and up the wave pool it's pretty boring heads up the big slides there can hurt a little because of the water.

Good prices on entry and concession. Life guards were a little agressive with wistle blowing. Large water slides hurt my back when going down. Only did them once. Kids under 48inches had a blast.

Food service took WAY too long! We were waiting for almost an hour before we got our food....there was barely anybody in line. The prices were too high, and no healthy options like fruit!

Cheap for a family of four. Only 24 dollars. Only 6 slides to choose from, but the water feels nice and the small lazy river gets a little crowded. Kids had a blast, as did my girlfriend and I. Would totally go back.

Family and I buy a season pass every year. We all love it. Staff are friendly and concessions are not over priced too much. Do wish the wave pool was bigger since the floats do get crazy when the waves are on and open longer; even if when school starts it is just open on weekends during that time.

What a great place! My daughter had a wonderful time visiting here a few weeks ago. While she was there, she misplaced her favorite flip flops. She reported it to the staff and they later found them. The staff called us and got our address and then mailed the flip flops out to us--in Colorado! What great customer service and people. 5 stars!

Friendly lifeguards - we visited on a Friday late afternoon/evening in early August. There were no lines for slides and more lifeguards working than paying customers. Not sure why it wasn't packed...but our experience couldn't have been any better.

Price is very reasonable. My kid had a wonderful time, there’s netting and stuff to climb on, wave area, lazy river (tubes are free), and the slides were great too. It wasn’t super busy or overcrowded for a Saturday either!

Kids had a blast. Concessions were fairly priced, for $3 you can get a combo meal. Lifeguards and other staff were attentive as well as friendly. Admission was decent in price, locker area and bathrooms were fairly clean and lots of activities to do for kids to stay busy.

Really disappointed that children can’t wear their own life jacket to go down slides, as a parent I feel more comfortable with the added safety feature as he’s 8 but gives him also a sense of security. The kiddy slides are way to small for him so this place doesn’t work to well for kids 6-10

TERRIBLE!!!!! The staff was extremely rude (and uneducated might I add ) They ruined my wifes Birthday first and foremost. They made me feel like a criminal almost! We ended up leaving after an hour of being there and they WOULD NOT issue a refund. They didnt even issue an apology much less a refund. TOTAL LETDOWN!!! WE WILL NEVER RETURN AND I PLAN ON SPREADING THE WORD.HEY ...ISLAND OASIS... Dont cha' just love the reviews the general public can submit about you?? I HIGHLY SUGGEST you get your act together and retrain your staff. It will inevitably be why you end up closing for good!

I cannot believe how reasonably priced this water park is and how friendly the staff were. There are 6 big slides and a little toddler slide. There is a big wave pool and lazy river. The pool water temp was just right. We visited at 7pm at night for an hour before they closed. It was 90 degrees out still. Most attractions were still in the sun. Again, great, young, kind, professional staff, price and entertainment. Thank you for making this an affordable stop along our 3 day long road trip!
