American Water SUCKS! They charged us almost $100 for one month of service! We had a tiny pinhole leak for only a few days so we knew it would be a little higher but not THAT much! We had the insurance plan so a guy came out and fixed it. It was a super tiny leak. We called in about the high bill and a nice rep who said we could have a one time adjustment on our bill so it would only be around $65. Then they charged us $65 again the next month!! When we called and asked why, they said because we only paid the $65 the month before! Then they said we needed to pay the $100 and they would give us the adjustment on the next bill but this is the next bill and they're charging us for the full $100 plus this month's full service charge. There is no adjustment here so either the first rep lied or American Water is not letting him give us the adjustment. Either way, we are stuck with no recourse. The second rep we spoke too was unable to explain where the adjustment went. American Water just charges what they want to and God help you if you're stuck getting service from them because you will pay around $65 a month for a just 2 or 3 people to use water! HORRIBLE
