We thought this place was so great! We were so pleased. It was just perfect for my 3 year old and even my 18 month old greatly enjoyed all the shows. It’s just big enough to have plenty to do, but not take up the whole day. We loved it and hope to go back!

My daughter and I had a great time here! We enjoyed the hands-on atmosphere while we learned about marine life, birds, and reptiles from staff presentations throughout the day. The dolphin show was amazing, and the seating allowed us to fully immerse ourselves into the experience. The park is the perfect size to explore, and the staff was awesome! We enjoyed the train ride then touring the museum attached to the park. My daughter finally pet a sting ray, and she raised her hand and asked questions during the presentations. The price for admission was very reasonable, so we will definitely return every year!

My daughter and I went with a Girl Scout group for a "Dozing with Dolphins" event. The young girl who led the event repeated herself 3-4 times after she said something to the point the whole group, including adults, felt like we were being reprimanded with every instruction given. In the morning while we packed up and loaded the cars, the event leader prepared breakfast by pouring cups of orange juice and milk. We were told everything needed to be cleared out of the room before we would be allowed to eat breakfast. All air mattresses, pillows are bags were packed in cars but we were not allowed to eat because a hair brush was sitting on a picnic table (outside) along with 2 swimsuits. The young girl pointed them out, saying they had to be put away before anyone could eat. The mother explained she instructed her daughters to leave their swimsuits out because they were going to the water park, but the girl refused to pass out breakfast until they were in the car along with the hairbrush. Meanwhile, the plastic cups with milk were sitting in the sun and had been since we were loading the cars. When someone mentioned the milk sitting in the sun, we were ignored. Breakfast was pre ordered when we registered. Many people got the wrong thing and they weren't able to correct it because it was bought it from Mc Donald's and they had ordered the wrong amount. By the time we finally got the food, it was cold. One girl's parent ordered orange juice by mistake, which the child doesn't drink. We asked to switch it for milk and was told no because "that's what was ordered", despite there being half of a gallon of milk left after everyone received their drink. Once we finished breakfast we walked to the dolphin exhibit, where we sat in the sun for half an hour waiting for the show to start. Still wondering why we weren't allowed to stay in the shade where we ate breakfast until they were ready. Needless to say, this was an experience we won't be doing again.

Great attraction to visit with family. It is like a smaller version of Sea World. The show arenas and exhibits allow for a more intimate view of the shows and animals. It's not crowded and everything is in close proximity to each other. Relatively in expensive for a attraction. Very educational Highly recommend when visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Just a heads up if you plan to visit the park. Ask what time the exhibits close. We got there at 2:45 thinking we had an hour to enjoy it since it "closed" at 4. NOT! Everything closes at 3:30 other than the playground. No one told us. Took our $48 and all we got to do was see the dolphin show and touch a ray. The pamphlet says they stop admission at 2. (Only read that after we paid and then they gave us the pamphlet). But they took our money and admitted us. Needless to say we left with a very sad little 5 year old

My kids loved it! They really should advice people that stingray's eat shrimp for allergy reasons. Simply putting a sign up would be helpful. I broke out in hives because I didn't know. But the dolphin show was awesome!

The shows were fun, yet educational! I loved that the place was very interactive for the kids with plenty of animals they could touch, a fossil digging activity where they get to keep their fossil, a train ride, a playground, bird feeding opportunity for a small fee, etc. The gift shop had decently priced items which was great for souvenirs. Things that could be improved: have an indoor place to eat to give people a chance to cool off and enjoy lunch. The food itself could definitely be inproved...the hamburger, pizza, and nuggets were all just frozen, storebought quality. The prices for the food were decent though. It would also be neat if you could see the dolphins and sea lions when they were not performing just to be able to get an up close look at them.

this place was fantastic! such a hidden gem! my kids played with the dolphins and had such a memorable time. maggie was the dolphin trainer and she was soooo sweet and friendly and patient with the animals and my kids! this is like a small sea world! we had a great time and will definitely go back!

Great experience to take the kids watching the dolphins. They have program where your kids can get close with the dolphins and touch them with extra. The price is also reasonable. They have also bird house where you can feed them and they have show to watch like cockatoo show too. The people are very nice and welcoming. They have train to take from one building to the next building. The kids enjoyed that too. They have food also in case you get hungry We spent good 3 hours there

** TLDR : Purchase pictures for experiences at your own risk.** taking the kids to animals experiences at Ocean Adventures (formerly IMMS) has become something of a tradition in our family. The kids were so excited to snorkel with the sting rays and they had an amazing time. Be aware this experience is not private so there will be other park guests in the pool building. it got very loud while we were there and the kids had a some trouble hearing the Aquarist. the website advertises a photo package that promises at least 8-10 photos with the photographer "capturing the whole experience" the staff member taking photos stayed for about 15-20 minutes. most of the time she was there she spent talking to another employee. the pictures that were printed there were dark and out of focus. the ones on the USB were worse. My money was refunded and the employee i spoke with over the phone was very nice and apologetic and admitted the pictures were poorly done and should have been better. She even offered us a free usb with additional photos (still bad photos) that had not been put on the original. When i went to get this 2nd USB the staff member i spoke to basically told me the pictures were as good as they could be b/c of the lighting in the building. my advice would be to save your money and take your own pics b/c the only pics i have of this experience, which the kids loved so much, are awful.

Fantastic place! Just off I-10 making it a great place to stop with kids needing to burn some energy. We came with our 2 year old. She really enjoyed the dolphin show and the birds. The park was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back again!

The three main shows, by "main" I mean the ones featuring a trainer and their animal(s), are quite entertaining. Bring the kids and grandkids... there is something for everyone. My wife and I (retirees) both especially enjoyed the parakeet room. Do buy some feeder sticks and watch the colorful parakeets flock all over you! Do not skip the museum and the "sea life touch pools" . They are in a separate building from the main facility: a short distance to which a free, courtesy tram brings you. Courteous staff too. Although a small venue, it is worth the price of admission

Amazing day at Ocean Adventures! We pre-purchased the snorkel with stingrays package for my son’s birthday. We also bought spectator tickets for myself & my husband. We arrived at 10:30 & watched the dolphin show & sea lion show. We also went to the museum and touch tanks and dig for shark teeth. We had a snack & lunch at the grill, which was reasonably priced & quick. The stingray snorkel was the best part! My son loved it and it was great to watch too with an informative talk before. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a photo of him feeding the stingrays included in the package. Loved everything! We’ve been twice now & we’ll be back.

Tiny little park but it was fun....my daughter is a dolphin trainer at a much larger facility, so I am familiar with training. I was not impressed with the dolphin trainers here. They did not seem to enjoy their jobs. No smiles or energy during the show...very strange. Made me uncomfortable. I did enjoy the aviary.

Had a great time at this venue. It's small, middle of nowhere and fun. What's not to like. The shows they put on are cute and very entertaining for the young kids. The staff was very knowledgable and very eager to get the crowd in the mix. My visit was free so I cannot comment on the prices. We did the dolphin adventure which was great.

This place was a lot of fun especially for the price! The shows were so much fun. The dolphins were wonderful! My daughter was so excited in the parakeet house. She loved feeding them and them landing on her. The website mentioned that dolphin encounters were available but I could not find the price anywhere on the website. My daughter was disappointed when I wasn't willing to spend $120 to touch the dolphin for just a few seconds. She understood why when she saw just how little the encounter amounted to during the show we watched. We will probably go back if we vacation in the area again.

Very disappointed. Only 1 bird in the bird show that lasted less than 10 minutes. Then nothing else to see for another hour before the dolphin show. A few Ray's swimming in a pool, but was given no information about them or anything. Just told to wash our hands.

They have really added alot since I last visited. My daughter and I had a great time. The dolphin and seal shows were really well done, and the new facilities are very nice. I wouldn't call it an all day experience, but it is definitely worth a few hours of your time.

Very well done and decent pricing. A fun place for everyone, esp children. My friend and I enjoyed it as just two adults walking around. The shows are well planned out to give time for walking around, missing some, and seeing them later. The card machine wouldn't work and the staff was very polite in fixing the problem. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for fun out of the sun this summer.
