Before paved roads, before state highways, before the interstate highway system; the Natchez Trace was the road to travel back and forth between the southwest and cities and towns along the east coast. Review the history here at the visitors center. And given the opportunity stop at the other Natchez visitor centers.

Very clean restroom ,and visitor center but after you leave this area roads get pretty rough watch for potholes and deep cracks in the Roads
