I thought it literally was going to be watermelon every where. No just free sliced watermelon. It was something different and new being from out of town.

For the little bit I caught it was nice. I got out the car made it to main street saw about half of the car show give or take then it started raining. Didn't make it to the tents and tables that were set up. What I saw I liked. I hope they invest in getting a meeting with the guys from the Hal and Mals St. Pattys Day Parade get some tips on how to grow their wonderful celebration even bigger and draw in more dollars and attention for them and their surrounding towns. I know they've been doing this for a while i think the benefits of a greater expansion and more vendors would be well deserved. All in all it was fun though I feel it would be more fun to locals and Mississippi natives with nothing to do that particular weekend as it is now. But with expansion could draw locals and out of towners. All in all I hope to do it again for the full experience.

The organizers for the walk had everything down pat they knew what they were doing they took time to set up a course at people along the way a water station in Mize they care about the runners and Walkers and they had Awards afterwards they did an outstanding job again I will CO2 Mize Mississippi and joy another Watermelon Festival next year
