The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of no TVs in cabin. Was no problem for me, but had 3 nephews and son with me. Cell service was bad. I would suggest, at least offer Wi-Fi in cabins

Latoya Smith-Richardson

Great for camping! Cabins to accommodate anyone interested. I took 40 girls for an entire weekend and they loved it. They've request one for the end of the school year, which will make our 3rd one this school term.

Dated facility. Lot's of wildlife (ALLIGATORS!) Wish the State would appropriate funds to give this Park a much needed facelift.

Horrible roads before and in the park. Small and outdated. Not much besides bugs and cats living around the office. Bathrooms were horrible and nobody in the office after 5 pm.

If you want to get away from everything this is the place to go, Not allot of fish in the pond but it was really cool watching the gators every morning and afternoon. Set right on my back porch and snapped a ton of great pics of the wildlife. Cabins are nice NO T.V no Cell, No Internet just the way it should be!! cell service if you walk outside some of the time :)

This was my 1st visit to Leroy Percy State Park, but will not be my last. This park is a great place for a quiet weekend getaway in the woods and on the water. We had rented cabin 5B and had friends drive down from West Tennessee to spend the weekend with us & they were just as impressed as we were. The cabins are on one end of the lake on a dead end road, so you don"t have traffic running back & forth. When you walk out the backdoor of cabin 5A/B you are only abou 25 feet from the lakes edge which makes for a great view & place to fish. The cabins are plenty roomy and well equipped though the showers are only big enough for skinny folks & small children(My Only Complaint). If you are really concerned with privacy you will want to rent both 5A & 5B since these cabins are actually Duplexes. I think they may have some cabins that aren"t duplexes, but you would need to verify this when making reservations. All in All this is one of the best parks I have stayed at over the last 25+ years of camping & renting cabins at Mississippi's State Parks and at Pat Harrison's Water Way"s. I am actually already looking for to my next weekend at Leroy Percy State Park!

Very old but nice park. Had reservation arrived at 11pm after office closed checked in next morning. Only sites 1, 14 and 15 have sewer and are $2 more per night. Dump station is by site #1 and at a strange angle. Only 16 RV sites total. First night only 8 taken including us, second night 7 one camper we never saw. As mentioned in previous reviews no Wifi and Verizon signal extremely weak. This normally would not be an issue as being disconnected was nice! Except the thunderstorm at 3am that was rocking camper, advise having a weather radio with you as we had to idea if it was severe or not. Water appears to be well water and has a slight tint but no odor and the pressure seemed low but used my water regulator anyway. Restrooms are old but clean, previous review said disgusting to which I have to disagree. The latex pain on the walls in the showers has peeled off but is only cosmetic everything is functional and clean. No AC in restrooms but windows open and there is heat for winter campers. Laundry area only one washer and dryer but there are connections for three of each. We did not utilize the laundry facility but I could hear the dryer running from my camp site. I was unaware of the cafe and snack bar we packed plenty of food so had to need to venture over there.

Small park...cabins smaller than most other Ms State Parks but ok for a nice weekend getaway. As for fishing...well let's just say that we didn't have any luck at all using night crawlers, red works, crickets, minnows or liver.

Totally nice place to get away from every thing if you need a get away or just want peace. Makes the family have to do things together. No phone. No TV.

Josh Miller

It was ok...no info about trails or anything about the park and no cell service to look things up. Stopped to picnic a dinner and go for a walk around the alligator lake nature trail, but didn't find it.

Marina Geuracht

Absolutely the best park, the best staff..a wonderful experience, plan to go back for sure.

Terry McDonald

Had full hook ups but needs some fix up.

Runn Oft

This place is right out in the middle of nowhere and that's a good thing. The lake was real nice and we just hung out on the pier, relaxing. Our site didn't have full hookups, but we managed fine. The bath house was tidy and convenient. It has a dump station that's a little weird to get to, but no big deal. The grounds are really pretty and the play ground is nicely old school. If you need supplies, Hollendale is a small drive away.

J. H.

Great park, staff and amenities nestled in a Cypress swamp.

Joan Skinner

We love the primative cabins and the view is wonderful. The staff is very also.
