A great place! Weird beach rules(for beer), but had a great time! Cabins r nice, they added a t.v. but we never turned it on(honestly they could take those out!)

Very dated on the cabins. But all in all nice place. Got TV's with cable in the cabins, should have gotten fans on the porch instead.

Nestled on the shores of Grenada Lake. Hugh White offers ample opportunity to enjoy nature, fishing, water sports, and golf. The facilities are good and some cabin amenities have been added like A/C and television. Half of the cabins have fireplace sunrooms off of the main room. Others have screened porches. We use the cabin areas for an annual family reunion and the park fits the bill. Games and fun at the end of the row of cabins is our daily gathering place. Other state parks have hotel like accommodations but Hugh White does not. It is a shame because the golf course is nice enough to host a golf weekend and upgraded lodging could possibly attract some more business.

Good place to dock your boat and drink beer. Remember drink in the water not on land the ticket is a hefty price.

The only thing I can say positive about this state park is that it’s quiet. The facilities we stayed in was like staying in a government facility terrible and very uncomfortable. This hasn’t been updated since the 80’s and very sad that the state of Mississippi doesn’t take care of this place it’s a goldmine. Stay clear of this place if you want something decent.

Not the cleanest but sheets and towels very very clean. The screened in porch was full of cob webs and dead bugs. We went and bought fog bug killers. And then there's the shower! My husband is 6 foot and had to sit when taking a shower. Absolutely no room to move. Overall the cabin needed to be updated. People at the front office were very nice and courteous. Doubt that we will be back.

No courtesy docks, no bathrooms/port-a-potties in parking areas.Lake over fished by fishing tournaments and could not catch anything over 11 inches. Anything under 12 inches had to be thrown back.

Love going to meet family for our reunion each year. While I can see that they are trying to make improvements with new screens and screen doors, TVs, new bedspreads and curtains/blinds would make a huge difference! Also spraying for bugs and knocking down cobwebs would be great too! Such a beautiful location that has such great potential! ❤
