Nowadays the firm has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 and this score has been calculated on 267 reviews.

This Park is classified in the category of State park.
Great place to go with kids. Camping spots very cool and shady. Cabins very cool and rustic. Lake not big enough for skiing or cruising in bigger boat.
We love the splash pad! And, it's always so nice and clean! The pavilions are great for B-Day party's and reunions! And, the employees are all very sweet and helpful!
Awesome small quite getaway!
Great cabin with nice serine views. Great service and awesome Rangers that run the show.
Was there about 3 or 4 years ago & Hope to go back this Sept. for a few days. My Mom is buried in a family plot in Quitman so my brother & sister-in-law are coming from Al. With 5th. wheel & my sister & I are coming from Mi. We Love the Park!!
Beautiful rolling, wooded campsites, very level concrete for our RV, nice lake view. Great bath houses too.
Very nice and well kept.
Cabins were dirty and out dated... in need of some updates and repairs.
Wonderful place for a family trip. Clean facilities, pretty lake an d great hiking.
Great
So amazing hard to believe it's a state park.
Hidden gem...don't tell too many people
One of my favoites
Because it's a place for piece and quite.
Very clean well thought out place. Stumbled on it looking for a place to picnic. Was pleasantly surprised
loved it
GREAT PLACE TO STAY. SO PEACEFUL.
Really enjoyed this park. Very clean and relaxing place to stay.
Excellent
This place was great! It has a splash pad, playground and the cabins were all on the water with docks. The kids had a TERRIFIC time! Definitely will be back!
We go every year and it is very clean and nice
Awesome place for kids.
Awesome and beautiful
A peace of mind
I've camped here since I was 5-6 years old. Now I have my own kids and they enjoy it just as much as I did when I was their age. The staff is always friendly and the park is always clean
Great for camping in tent. It is all way in back. Alot of trails to explore.
Definitely will be back. Small sites but beautiful campground
Nice place, came with a group of friends, ladies only. I want to return with my family
Nice wooded area. Nice trails for hiking too. Some sites had large drop offs on either or both sides of the RV platform. Luckily it was not crowded so we could choose a site that didn't.
Great place to relax. Peaceful mornings thru the week. Nice wash house/bath house. Very nice staff. Cabins are great. Campground is very nice. Very beautiful park. Stayed a week during spring and a week during the fall. Well satisfied.
On Feb. 16th we reserved site 28 pre paying on that date. When we arrived on our check in date march 9th we were told that we called on March the 7th and changed our arrival date. Which we didn't. After showing our conformation letter we moved on our spot. Our site was reserved from March 9th thru the morning of March 17th . On the 16th park manager came to our site say we had to move that they had us departing on the 16th. After showing my conformation papers and sharing my displeasure about a certain incompetent employee we were left alone . Now other than that I enjoyed my stay . Cleaned bathrooms , Helpful personal, I will have too think about coming back .
Very nice recreation area. Beautiful scenery.
Loved it. Although it rained the facilities and staff there are very nice. Just an awesome experience.
Loved this camp ground rest rooms were clean and the park was not over crowded.
A nice, quiet place to stay. Cabins are nice and reasonable. Swimming area, splash pad for kids. Nature trails also
Really enjoyed ourselves!!! Me, my husband, our son, my mom, sister, and grandmother all went the 2nd week in October. We stayed in Cabin 1 and LOVED it!!! Woods all around, just steps away from the lake. Beautiful scenery, and really loved having our own private pier. We even had a few cute little visitors at night while grilling-- raccoons! They were friendly and would sit and wait for you to throw food to them. The cabin was very clean, and had everything we needed. However, if you are a bigger person (300lbs+) you will probably have to ask for a handicap-accessible cabin, because the toilet was snug in between the shower and the wall. The shower was very accommodating though. The beds were comfy, couch and chairs were comfortable, but you can't come expecting a 5-star hotel complete with memory-foam mattresses and luxury furniture-- this is a state park, hello! Couldn't have had a better time playing with my son on the 4 different playgrounds and riding our bikes. It was even warm enough for them to walk out into the swim area and wade around. I give this park a 2-thumbs-up and will DEFINITELY be back for years to come!!!
Christmas Time
BeAutiful.lil park.
Peaceful, clean and quiet. Just what you want when your camping outdoors.
Mississippi State Park
Beautiful place, great for kids to play!
Clarko lake is amazing! Such a beautiful place! We did camping and it was so clean! Definitely stop here
This is a really wonderful park. Tony, the park managee, has spent the last 2+ years cleaning up the park after it had run down a bit. Views of the lake are great from most sites. With each site having sewer, water, and 30/50 amp service, along with fire rings picnic tables, it is hard to beat. Çost was under $30 a night.
Stopped for dinner and a swim on our way home to Florida. There's a nice sprinkler park next to the large playground and plenty of picnic tables.
I've have been coming here for over 35 years now and it's still takes my breath away. This is hands down the best kept secret in MISSISSIPPI. From tents to campers to cabins, they have it!! Great dishing, swimming, hiking, biking, disc golf, relaxing, family fellowship, and the friendliest staff I've ever known. If you're looking for a weekend getaway to a two week + stay....this is your destination. I promise you that you will NOT leave disappointed!!!! This is outdoor camping at its BEST!!! THANK YOU CLARKCO FOR A LIFETIME OF GREAT FAMILY MEMORIES!!!!
They know what. Kids were crying!
Beautiful park. Extremely clean bath houses. Staff are super friendly. First time visiting here, but definitely not the last.
Nice lake
Great place to bring family
Great place for swimming and get togethers. Great place for camping and relaxing.
First time taking the camper out, and Clarkco was an enjoyable adventure. We walked and rode our bikes around the grounds. The staff was friendly and helpful. Planning on taking the grand children.
We spent a very peaceful weekend here. All you need are some friends and family, good food and a warm place to sleep(our tent) and this beautiful lake. It was raining, but we were on the water in a canoe or on the porch of our friend's cabin rental nearly all day and it was great!
great place to run at 5am. NO traffic :-)
Nice place to bring your kids for the summer & let them play on the splash pad or either they can go swimming or rentals to go out on the water
Love the place. It's a beautiful place.
Great place.
Great place to go camping... just come prepared nothing near by
Excellent place. My family and I have been coming here from New Orleans every year since I was around 4 (I'm 10 now) in November for Thanksgiving. It's a very nice place, and we get the cabins every time. The playground is good, and running around the roads is fun (I'm 10, do you get it now?). Overall, good place. We are coming back on November 23rd, 2018!
Love this park great place to bring your family
Always good memories when I visit Clarkco. It's been a part of my life since I was a baby. Mr. Tony is doing a great job of keeping it up and maintained.
Beautiful view from our cabin on the lake. Looking forward to an wonderful time with some awesome folks.
Beautiful
It was great! The most beautiful lake I have seen in a long time
Beautiful state park. ..clean bath house. Love the camp sites and the hiking trails.
I have camped with my family here at this park alot over the past few years ... We love it. It is super clean and very safe ... There is a splash pad for the little kids and jungle gyms for all age children ... I highly recommend it ... The only drawback is the camper pads are narrow and see have a pretty good lip on the side
Nice place to get away to, come your mind.
Nice area, beautiful lake, not alot of level ground, but still nice.
Eh
So very nice & pleasant in the mornings
Built by the CCC during the depression, beautiful 52 acre lake and camp ground with cabins available
Best camping cabins and a great place to have family reunions
Amazing Park! We were traveling through and just needed a place to stay. We were blown away by the beauty of this park. The pad was level, hook ups easy, self check-in, showers were amazing - hot and clean. Lot's of shore access and more than half the sites are lake front and lake view. There are large group areas... Appeared to be a great family reunion place. If traveling in this area, make a point of staying a couple of nights here.
Beautiful place
Excellent place clean and friendly people
Nice park. Has cottages to stay in.
Excellent state park. Will visit again.
Great place for our family reunion!
Love it. One of our fav places to camp
Always so peaceful and quiet. The lake is beautiful and the staff are always very accommodating. Enjoy our stay every time.
One of my favorite place to be very clean. Fun for the whole famely
Beautiful
Nice park with great country scenery.
Love this park. Staff super helpful. Quiet and beautiful
Great!! Enjoyed it so much and the beds were awesome!
Wow. Better sites than anything we have in Louisiana. Much friendlier staff than what you get in Louisiana. We stayed at a primitive camp site and had a great time.
Great park
Beautiful and clean, well maintained park.
Great place for camping! Kids loved it!
My favorite state park. Love the cabins, staff, hiking trails. Quitman and surrounding areas have wonderful artesian wells. Full of history.
We loved it. It was a pleasure
Awesome place
Lake Ivy is gorgeous. Camping rates are very reasonable. Great primitive camping that is completely out of the way (in a good way). The best lake for canoeing or kayaking around Quitman. Skiing ain't worth a crap though. The ski lane is to narrow and really short. Two swimming areas near campground and one for the cabins. The cabins are well kept and have docks. The lodge is beautiful and there is a gift shop.
Great patk
Nice quote place to sit and recharge by the lake or go go a hike on the trails plus many more things to do.
We enjoyed Christmas with the family here
Love this place camp every year. Great people treat you like family.
Stopped for one night on way home. Dec 2018. Beautiful park, full hookups, pet friendly. Nice bathrooms and showers. We will be back. Our RAM 2500 and 30’ TT had plenty of room. Very nice and helpful Park Manager.
The staff of this park were awesome. A beautiful place to stay. Quiet at night and great facilities
Stayed at RV park and enjoyed it so much! I loved they had hiking trails everywhere! The staff was awesome! The day we arrived there we had an electrical problem, went to office to tell them and within an hour, it was fixed!
Very relaxing!!!
Wonderful
Clean and safe park, it's a great place to have party's and hangout by the lake.
Always enjoy clarko
Nice quiet place. Good for a few nights
I love it when we are here, it may be only when we have our family reunion here But we love this place.. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE IT IS GREAT.
Such a nice park. We stayed only one night on our way from FL to Memphis. We definitely want to come back and stay longer. Clean, friendly and lots of nature!
Lovely place to picnic and swim, right near home! Shaded areas to just sit and relax under a tree and watch the kiddos. A favorite destination!
Love this park, nicely shaded and nice kids area.
A great place for family fun!
Loved it
Great place to chill with family
I've gone 13+ years now for family reunions and every time I've gone it's been clean and well kept and quite a delight to visit!
Love it the people do a great job keeping the park up and therefore we will keep going back as long as we're alive
Beautiful and serene surroundings with fun for all ages
Family friendly, love the splash pad
Très beau camping, paisible et propre
Love going to the place. The cabins are great and my grandchildren love the splash pad
Great place
I found this place on my way back from Florida. This is one of the most beautiful state parks I've ever seen. It has a splash pad, several pavilions, swimming area, big lake for canoeing, and cabins for rent. After spending what turned out to be four hours hear..made me decide I want vacation here next year.
Great place
Best state park around! Nice friendly folks and very accommodating
Amazing place for family time!!
Hidden Gem. Excellent for kids - nice swimming beach and playground with water cannons and other water features. Easily accessible from US 45. Camper pads are very narrow, though.
Roads and RV sites are extremely narrow and built up high with no shoulder. Most sites are unlevel and difficult to access. Changed our minds when we saw the campsite and didn't stay.
Its a nice campground with fun for the kids
Great State Park. Friendly folks. Clean campgrounds and well maintained. If you don't have it they can accommodate to the best of their ability.
Nice park
Very nice and quite
Beautiful, inexpensive place to spend a day out doors with the family! Plenty trails for hiking, fishing, bike rides, etc! We had our sons birthday there under the pavilion next to the playground with a beautiful view of the lake!
Friendly staff, love the cabins, and campgrounds. I love going back year after year.
Lakeside sites amazing. Entire staff so friendly and so helpful. Very relaxing. Loved our stay. Second year in a row.
Clarcko is beautiful! Fresh air, swimming boating, tennis courts, volleyball nets, fishing , big pavilions, etc. Great for the whole family
We went to look for camping sites we found a few we liked it's a small area but the park had a good atmosphere well kept up clean with some fun areas for kids
Always a fun place! Relaxing, family friendly.
Small lake
Pros & Cons---Will return... Pro's: The park is great, the view is fabulous, the park is peaceful, the playgrounds are fun, and the bathrooms are clean! Con"s: The bathrooms have "old" vinyl curtans that do not close properly any body walking by could have looked in at me showering! My husband said the mens was the same way...But my warning to all campers comes when we start discussions of getting in sites now i have a great husbend who can assist in guiding me in to any spot so we made it in but it was tight and a little nerve racking. The drop offs on either side of the pavement pad are STEEP!!! Also bring a "ton!!!" of leveling blocks paved sites does not mean level sites! Our trailer tong was 3 inches from the ground and the butt of our trailer was 2.5 feet off the ground. Now having said all this, the park is GREAT but it is a forest park built around the forrest the roads and sites are a reflection of that. Will defenatly be back!
Beautiful and clean
Very beautiful, well maintained state park. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Family friendly with tennis courts, a disc golf course, a children's splash/play area and fishing/boating areas. The wooded areas are very rich and well taken care off. Clean and modern bathrooms, showers and laundry are available for campers. The campsites are deep in the woods with water views. The RV pads are paved with full hookups but are a little narrow.
Great place to camp.....was
Lots of families enjoy the swimming in Lake Ivy and the splash park. Huge camping sites on the water side and the sites not waterfront still had a great view. Good biking. Our site had an 18" dropoff from our rv bottom step. Last 2 days there mayflies swarmed. Yuck. But still a nice park.
Our family camped alongside two of our friends families and had a fantastic time. Seven kids and five adults and no one was bored!
Great place to spend the day with the kids. Splash pad was fun for the kids
Very nice state park, has full hook up, quite and lots of space.
Nice cabins, beautiful trails, very clean. Kids had a great time.
Nice place
The cabins and camp grounds always seem very clean and pretty well cared for. When you do have to deal with staff, they always seem friendly and helpful.
Didn't stay there but took pics and drove around. Cabins are fantastic and people are friendly
Great beautiful family fun
Absolutely love it!!
Beautiful park close to my grandma's house for when we come visit. Cabins are outdated but they are cabins so I wasn't terribly shocked. My kids had fun swimming and playing in the splash pad.
I left a piece of my soul here on my last departure, this place is as heavenly as you can get.
