Almost all of my reviews will be about natural areas looking to maintain the true natural order of our ecosystem. Buttercup is one of those areas where the longleaf pine savannah is being encouraged to perform at it's most natural ability, with native plants regular burns (fire=good), and little-to-no attempts to create a people friendly environment. Don't expect a driveway, a sidewalk, a bathroom or even a dry path. Take your boots, bring some water, bring your camera, plan for the heat, and take your trash out with you. Plan to see amazing plants, reptiles, birds and nature in all its glory.
