REVIEWS OF Devil’s Kettle Falls IN Minnesota

TheSpookb .

This is an excellent park. The trails are great and well marked. Superior hiking trail connects into the trail system as well. The hike to Devils kettle might be draining for some. But it is totally worth it. Bring some water and enjoy the trails and scenery. Very scenic. Just... Be warned.. The stairs can be overwhelming for some.

The falls were absolutely beautiful! The river was running high so it wasn't very clear that part of it was disappearing if you didn't already know. The walk was not as bad as it sounded when reading about it. There were a lot of stairs, but with a couple of breathing breaks, it was totally managable.

Robert Thibodo

Like what I experienced but there for only a short period of time. In the future will hike deeper in.

Great for trails and hanging in the water.

Like in a review before, search for the state park NOT the name of this location. Good thing I read it as well! I was super confused, but other than that, the hike was fun and concise! Took us about an hour to the falls and back to the parking area. Totally worth the hike!

The hike to get to falls was really good. Search for the park and not for the falls, it is located in Judge C.R. Magney State Park . If you search for falls, you’ll end up on a dirt road. Also carry cash for park entry. There are some stairs on the trail. The overall experience was amazing and is recommended.

Mike Fautsch

Awesome. It is a little hike in to see the waterfall but is definitely worth the trip. There are some stairs to climb. Good idea to pack a beverage for the hike.

Holly Bizoe

Beautiful mile hike and lots of stairs but once you make it you’ll see it with your own eyes you’ll see it’s worth the trip!

Why would you call it devil’s kettle if the devil is not actually there?! I drove 3 states over JUST to see the devil and he was not here. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Short hike, about a mile one-way, but a lot of stairs. The two falls were worth the climb, though, especially the kettle.

Heather Hegi

It's quite the hike to get out here. Lots of stairs. But it was fun!

That was so awesome, I got to jump off the cliffs And go under the waterfalls

Nunki Seyer

The falls is beautiful and the 1 mile hike up to the falls seems nothing compared to the scenery. Bring a walking stick with you. If you love stairs, then this is something you would like.

Amazing place! I’ve also heard that we’re the water comes out is unknown! (The hole) so very very mysterious and cool I would go check it out for sure

Jill Damron

I love unpaved trails, so this was amazing! They were well groomed and accessible, and it was great to get right down near the river before the falls. Lots of photo ops with scenic overlook spots!

Jason Hedlund

A short hike (with a good amount of vertical) to a strange natural wonder of a waterfall. There are more scenic waterfalls on the North Shore, but none more interesting than Devil's Kettle. Where does that water go?

Loren Teske

This is a amazing place to see. Make sure you have on a good pair of shoes because the hike is long with a lot of stairs. This is a must see.

Beautiful falls and a decent hike, nothing too long or crazy. There are a lot of steps but benches at multiple points to take a breather and look around in this beautiful area.
