For the price this place was a very good way to spend a day with small children. They had a couple rides, ferris wheel, swings and a carousel, that you could ride as much as you like. The goats were way friendlier than I had encountered at any other petting zoo. Admission included a free cookie to be made in the bakery. My daughter even chose to purchase some clogs from the store. The staff was very friendly and would recommend everyone check this place out.

Cindy Trudell

Our 5 & 6 yr olds loved it! Didn't want to leave, even after 4 hrs. Food was good, reasonable prices.

Katie Hallock

I’m pretty confused as to why this place is so expensive, but it was quite an enjoyable stop. My mother was looking for Speculoose Cookie molds. After asking around town at quite a few different shops, this place was recommended. And it was a success!! I’m sure most people buy these molds to hang on their wall for decoration. But my awesome mom will actually use them to make delicious cookies. There was actually a decent selection of these molds! I would have been surprised if they’d only offered one or two. But there were actually several to choose from. Mom bought three on our first visit and then returned the next day for two more! While she was shopping, I really enjoyed walking around. I got some great pictures of my baby girl by their colorful wooden tulip display! We also looked at the wooden shoes, blue and white china, cuckoo clocks, t-shirts and sampled some delicious cheese! I’m not sure that I’m in a rush to pay for a return visit, but it a pretty cool place!

It was a blast. Went for my daughter's field trip! Information over load for kindergarteners, but great for adults who wanted to knowore about Dutch ways. Loved the attractions! Learning how they make the shoes was amazing! The kids all got to feed the goats, pigs, and sheep that were there.

Mary Wright

We had our work picnic here great fun Place The during our time walking around the park everyone said hello. Very clean and thank you for the great service. We have been to Dutch Village as a family it's a blast anytime we go Thank you

Great family friendly place to spend the day. Professional and courteous staff. Free for active military.

Brad Tompkins

Had a great day with two of four sons and their families. Lots to do. The fudge and cheeses were wonderful. My grandchildren got to see baby goats being born. After the rain ended, we had a wonderful time indeed.

Gordon McKavanagh

Good experience for kids. It was neat environment to learn about Dutch culture.

Alicia Gomez

I used to love this place when I was a kid. Revisiting it, and Holland, as an adult really brought back great memories. Had a great time and the staff were all very friendly. Nice way to spend a couple hours learning about Dutch culture.

azrof2

This place was a ton of fun. Seems small but you start walking around and hitting the shops and even riding the rides and time flies. I am definetly going here again.

Ben Fisher

Always a joy to spend several hours here. My kids are 10, 7, and 4 and they all love it. Visiting and feeding the farm animals is their favorite activity.

Robyn Nienstedt

Children said this was one of the best parts of our Michigan trips. Highly recommend the pig n a blankets.

melissa Karl

Love it. The shops, buildings, dances, and how to make klogs was great. Loved the rides, and petting zoo as well. The flowers were beautiful. $13 per adult, $11 for kids 4-15. Well worth it.

Ashlea Bradley

Kids loved the animals, rides and the dutch experience. Can't wait to visit again

Kyra Peacock

Took our 1.5 year old daughter. We had a blast. The animals were friendly and there was plenty to do.

Tim B

Fun place to visit for the day. Plenty of things for the whole family to enjoy: rides, animal petting/feeding, food tasting, Klompen dancing, wooden shoes, and more.

N J

Such an amazing place to experience tulip festival and the Dutch life. Fun rides and dance. Though I think it's best to visit during tulip festival.

Giada Corrias

Nice for the kids...not so much for the adults unfortunately

C NAGZ

Awesome place for the kids. Rides are included. They have good food, beer, coffee, fudge. Nice little village with a great history!!

John A

Interesting stop. A must visit if in Holland, MI. Plenty for the kids to do and see.

Ketsup OnPizza

Staff are very helpful! Family friendly! Had a great time!

Leland Lenscap

This is a pretty remarkable place given that it is located in fairly rural Michigan. But then again, how could you have this in a big city, right? The village itself is very cute, with lots of attractions to interact with and be excited about. For example, my wife did the 'test' and we found out that she is not a witch. Good news! The entrance price is very reasonable, and the scenery, rides, attractions, food and atmosphere are very family friendly. Even though we have no children, we appreciate this place for what it is. And is not. For example, I did not see one video anything here. What a nice change of pace. We especially lovely the merry-go-round and the Ferris wheel. The lots of animals for the kids to pet, and we had a ball watching Mama duck and a gaggle of about 15 babies following her around the various little bodies of water in the park. This is a beautiful place. Take the family and give it a try sometime. If I am ever back there again, I will surely go visit.

Keith McLaughlin

Our daughter always enjoyed herself. The new water balloon attraction was a lot of fun.

Subodh Kotkar

Nice place to visit in Holland. Worth time spend with the cost you are paying. Spend around 3-4 hours here. If you visit in holiday season time could be more.

Jude Iz

The entire family had an excellent experience today. The Dutch Dancers were magnificent! The rides were super fun, the instructive classes were very informative and we love seeing and feeding the animals in the petting farm. This is a MUST destination for families with young children. Grandparents alike!

Roxy Beaudet

Wish I could give even more stars. Adorable attraction for both kids and adults. Rides and free bites of food available throughout the park. Petting zoo is adorable. It's so interesting to go into the little houses to see the exhibits. The restaurant is pretty good. One of the kids kicked their clog into the lake when they were dancing. Very cute park!

Matthew Larson

Had a really great time. Bought a bunch of souvenirs and took tons of photos.

Chris Lewis

We had a decent time, except for the teenage girl at the Cheese house. We were speaking with a very kind, nice, knowledgeable and friendly man named John that directed us to the cheese shop to buy some authentic cheese from Holland. The girl in the cheese shop was extremely rude not only to us but to John too. He (John) was a real treat to talk to today and he was very knowledgeable about the products in his shop, however she was a complete "witch" if you catch my meaning. My family and I were very disturbed and disgusted with how she treated John and her very poor attitude. Her Customer service was more of what I would expect at an Army Chow hall, not a tourist destination. John, on the other hand was AWESOME! He is exactly the kind of person we want to interact with when we are someplace new. He is kind, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and willing to talk about the products in his shop. He wanted to help us find more stuff to buy, more products to purchase and was promoting the other buisnesses in the village. Not only is he the kind of guy that I would want working in my buisness, but he is the kind of guy I would enjoy hanging out with.

Nicole Boguslawski

My family and I had a great time. We wish the weather would have held out for us but that can't be changed. I noticed that they are starting to repair some of the buildings which is nice because a lot of the buildings are starting to look worn and much needed TLC. I was pleased with the staff. The only thing I wish would have been a bit better was the farm animal area. Their were 2 ladies by the bunnies having a conversation while on the clock instead of helping customers. I had to ask a few times for one of them to help me with a question and when I asked, she seemed annoyed and shortly answered me. If you are thinking of going, its a little pricey but they have great things for the kids of all ages to do and I would have to say its pretty great especially for what is around the holland area.

Years ago we discovered this place, had a great time with our small kids. Then afterwards, whenever we would drive up to Michigan, this spot would become a must stop to have lunch and see the cute shops and buy cute knick knacks. It would be our kickoff highlight to a quick weekend getaway. This year, we went back and found out that the shops were now closed off to the public and you could only see the shops if you were part of the park's entry customer. I was disappointed and not quite sure if I will be back again. I don't even understand why they would close off part of their revenue to the public. I am sure we can find new places to hang out over the weekend and get to experience a little taste of the town that offers visitors fun without needing to pay for a park admission.

Sri surya shankar Neerukonda

We went there from Columbus. It’s a 6hr Drive. It’s fun to go with friends...particularly girls and kids will like this place more because of tulips and some joyous rides. Nice ambience and a good collection of different tulips flowers. Nice place to take photos and from this point there are buses to roam around Holland including some tulips farms and downtown. Overall it would be a fun place to hangout with friends.

asish kurian

Great place for a fun , family outing . It is a great time for both kids and adults.

Tim Twiss

A fun little touristy stop. A nice little bit of Dutch culture. Aside from the pleasant girl selling tickets at the front gate, and the sweet, friendly lady in the welcome center, nobody seemed to really enjoy working there.

Claire Morrison

Pretty fun place to take the kids. The teens doing the presentation could use a little more enthusiasm and enunciation but on the other hand they memorized what they had to say. Spent about 2.5-3 hours there with a 5 year old and 1.5 yr old.

Trisha Glover

We went there today...this page said they were open 10 am to 5 pm..we got these at 1pm..the ONLY place open was a very expensive gift shop...and a restaurant.i can understand not having the rides going...and having them only on the weekend...you couldn’t even just walk around. Everything was blocked off..We drove 2 hours..to see this as part of our vacation... Trisha Glover

Tom Martin

Only open on weekends for the time being. Cute little village with Dutch style building. We ate in the hungry dutchman and the food was good. We had tosti and pea soup. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Friendly place. Attached to shops that are all open.

ritu nagri

Went there in May last year. It was cold yet bearable. The tulips were in full bloom! The village is very neat and nicely organized. You would surely get the feel of actual Dutch villages there. People in their Dutch attire, those wooden shoes, dances and much more to see.

Jennifer M

Great place for young families! Lots of fun things to see and do! Love the wooden clog demo, school house, petting zoo farm and rides. My daughter who was 6 at the time loved it. Very nice that they let you hold a bunny, feed the goats and can check out the chicken coop. The demos are nice as well. The employees are very nice. The gift shop is very nice as well.

Michelle Maitner

Great fun for the entire family....especially our 4 year old twins. Love the old school activities.

Matt Schifeling

This place rocks! It was way cooler than I thought it would be. My children had a blast on the rides and with the sweets. Lunch was pretty good too.

Jessy Jones

A great place to spend a day with the family!

Rick L

Having good weather definitely helps your experience here. It is a quaint, nicely landscaped mock village with small canals and staff dressed in Dutch attire. Some fun activities for the kids along with a pleasant, informative selection of exhibits for adults. One tip: if you also plan to see the Windmill Gardens you can buy a combo ticket for both places here and save a little

Josh M

Entertaining little place. Alot of Dutch styled buildings and clothing to look at.

Marty Alt

Don't spend your time here if you have kids older than 8/9. Was very disappointed with the quantity and quality of the location pricing was over priced for what is there. Found out afterwards that if you combine going to the windmill and to the dutch village there is a discount in pricing.

Cody Rios

The website made it sound like there a good amount of stuff to do and reviews for were good, but I thought it was a bit lacking. Pros: shoe carving demonstration, Dutch foods, cheese tasting. Cons: cheese making demonstration was actually a 2 minute explanation. Stroopwafels were very disappointing--they tasted weird and prepackaged ones are much better. They did not compare at all to fresh ones in Amsterdam. Overall it was just an okay experience. It was pretty cheesey and seemed pretty dated. It was weird trying to enjoy a Dutch village with the shopping mall right next door and visible from a good amount of the place. I think kids would love it because of the rides and petting zoo.

nick moshier

Best place no matter the ages of family or friends. Everyone will have a great time. The employees are so nice and super friendly. You learn a lot about the Dutch ways. Expect to be there a few hours.

Jennifer L

Super cute. Kids had a great time. I love the petting zoo area and the Durch village dance.

Matt McNeely

Nice place for the kids to have fun at for a quick day trip while visiting the area. Price is a little steep for what you get, but the staff is great and the rides are fun. We spent even more by doing ice cream and cheese.

Brittany Deweese

This place is so well done. Lovely little shops surrounded by gorgeous landscaping. Lots of free samples. Be sure to try the cashew brittle!

kevin rosensteel

The boys had a blast! Admission is reasonable and well worth the price. 4 stars only becouse it is extremly busy.

A B

I don’t think it’s worth the money. Not too many attractions and the place is really small. The only thing my kids enjoyed was the petting zoo.

Phil Steffensmeier

Heartwarming memories of a great childhood visiting Holland. The village was charming, with a show of one or another every two hours. Get a taste of the Netherlands while enjoying Michigan!

Melissa G

Very cute, walkable, realistic feel without being overwhelming or kitchy. Friendly staff. Able to see it all in one full day. We took two small children and they loved it! Highlight of our trip to Michigan.

Atomic Shrex

It was pretty ok. The admission price was too high for such a small attraction. The free admission wasnt too bad.

jellybelly 284

Very fun rides and old copies of buildings from the Netherlands. I bought some yummy fudge and cheese that is amazing.

Ian Fergus

Odd tourist attraction. Cafe is okay. I got a chai latte thinking it would have a shot of espresso in it. I was wrong, but they had no problem adding a shot for free, so I can't complain.

Sri Hari

Loved the Dutch dance and rides. A nice place to spend couple of hours.

Christine Hoekzema

Great little park with a restaurant serving Dutch and American fare. Fun rides for the kids.

Dave H.

Our granddaughters love going here. They can ride as much as they want. It is a little run down, but still enjoyable for a simple family outing.

Tammy McMillan

Really nice for young children to visit and older people to learn

Christine Waybrant

So cute and fun. My girl is a teenager, so a little "old" for the rides but the shops and farm were fun.

Sukumar shah

According to me it’s overpriced. Nothing great offers to the elderly people. However kids with family will enjoy the place. Surrounding is good in summer.

Natasha Spudville

Love it here! All the animals were friendly and we had a great time. Only downside is we had to leave early due to other plans. We could have very easily spent half a day here!

Jeff Scott

Kind of expensive to get in to just so you can spend more money. Everything is very expensive

Ahmed A

Very nice place to spend the day.

S O

Good time, great for kids. I enjoyed the older architecture buildings. Cheese tasting was awesome. We had a really good time here, and felt that it wasn't too over priced.

Vijayakumar Mopuru

Nice place for a half day visit with family. Will become kid again with their rides. Enjoyed the place. We can bring our own food and soft drinks. Beautiful shopping market and few restaurants are good. Have nice ice cream in the village. Traditional dutch dance event is awesome, all dancers were traditional dutch shoes.

Adrenne Deason

It was great. We were a little early in the season so some thinks weren't open. Our fault. They had a lot of teenagers working there. They did a great job. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledge. They are the ones that did the such dancing too. Good for them and the village for hiring them.

Michelle Beach

This is a fun half day trip for smaller kids. I feel like it's probably a little over priced, but once you pay admission, you don't have to pay to ride the rides. The workers are mostly nice and the area itself is clean and beautiful. If you go after tulip season, the bulbs are free!

darrell drabek

So much fun to nail down. Watching them do original dance to the organ music in original style clothes, as they say the material is lighter. A really lovely petting zoo with lots of cute friendly animals. The making of wooden shoes. Still more to enjoy. Lots more... & I can't say enough about the staff. They were all great people & so friendly. Plus it can not be the easiest thing to wear Dutch style clothing in August! It's got to be like a dutch oven. P.S.- Souvenir shops were reasonable.

Jan Smith

$13 for adults and we had a blast! Spent the afternoon and had plenty of time to see/do all that was offered. Enjoyed the Dutch dancing. Incredible gift shop. Great samples of cheeses and chocolates in the demos. Some of the presentations were very weak, given by high school summer employees, who just don't have the skills to convey info or make it lively or vibrant. However, it was worth the money and time and we will return with kids sometime.

Gouda Lady

There's tons of things for both kids and adults to enjoy here. From a petting farm (with an alpaca!), to buildings that showcase what 18th century Netherlands life was like, to a carousel and an original ferris wheel, this place has plenty of things to do and learn! There are short lessons of how things were, and are now, done: cheese, stroopwaffel (Dutch cookies), chocolate, and wooden shoe making demonstrations (and free food samples), and then you can buy all of those too. I found some cheese very like my family used to make there. YUMMY! You can also learn a basic Dutch klompen dance and watch the "professionals" do some dances accompanied by a beautiful 113 year old Golden Angel Organ. (All that, and the biggest draw for my kids (ages 3-9) were the ducks that are everywhere. Go figure.) There are even things for the kids to do while you wait for your turn on the rides. The only kicker is the price (starting at around $12); but for that you can be there ALL DAY, and all the rides and petting farm are included in that. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Kari Stevens

Really fun day with my 5 year old. He would definitely enjoy it when he gets older to do all of the rides too. Staff was very friendly. Lots to do, we spent an entire afternoon here. A little pricey, but I feel we made the most of our time therr. My only complaint is the lack of restrooms. I counted 3- 2 unisex inside restaurant areas and and 1 mens/womens in which it was so small you could not get in and out without coordinating with the other people in there. I would have also liked to see some more benches to take breaks (I'm pregnant, so bathrooms and benches are important!).

Dan Billingsley

Good if you have small children because some rides are included. Otherwise it's paying $13 for the privilege of shopping in the stores. The Dutch dancing is mildly interesting but you can see that downtown for free.

Sarah Peless

Entry Fee is a little overpriced for what you get but the tulips were so pretty. Loved the cheese tasting and learning more about Dutch culture.

Jake Dilworth

Not good....everyone looked miserable. Price of admission is way too high for what you get. 15-20 years ago it was probably amazing, best part of it now is the petting zoo.

Kim Arauz

It's a nice place with a couple rides for little kids. There is also a spot for water balloon fights. You can get cheese, Danish products and of course wooden shoes. It isn't an all day place but it's a great place to spend a couple hours.

Joy French

We went to so many places in Holland Michigan during the same weekend. Every location was top-notch and the people were fabulous and so very helpful.

Joel Rosentreter

Cool place. I was a little apprehensive at for it was $48 for two adults and two kids to get in. A lot of things to do and see and even some education on dutch ways. We spent just show of 4 hours there so worth the month.

Dennis Robinson

What a great place to take the family and spend a good part of the day! Every person who is there is extremely nice, and always in a happy mood, or at least they do a great job at hiding how it really feels wearing those wood shoe's

Nick Schoenborn

Great fun for the kids! Lot's of activities

Andrew Gibel

Kitsch does not begin to describe this place. Pretty brutal and the employees seem to think so too. There is no path that doesn’t lead into 3 different gift shops. Do yourself a favor and don’t go near this place

Matt Finlay

Great spot for kids and adults to learn about Dutch culture. From observing the production of wooden clogs with the klompenmacher (?) to eating stroopwaffles, taking in the history, and enjoying the fair rides, the Dutch Village has plenty of entertainment for hours of enjoyment.

Laura Moggio

It is so much fun here! My whole family enjoyed it! There is so much to do here, from rides, to a petting farm, demonstrations of wooden shoe carving, to watching traditional Dutch dancing and so much more. We were there 6 hours and didn't see and do it all!

John Kangas

I've taken my daughter here for years. Great place for kids. Ideal ages for kids (in my opinion) are 4-8 years old.

Nancy H Junkin

My grandbaby loved it there, hard time when we left to go home, lol!

Joe Gallo

So much fun! Great family day. Well kept property and well serving staff.

Ruth Poling

Our boys are 5 and 6... they loved the swing ride, ferris wheel, mini zip line. I enjoyed the demonstration of making wooden shoes, the cultural dance, and the tulips. Admission price seemed high but really was not out of line with similar parks. We were very glad the rides were not extra.

Nicole Burton

My husband and I took our almost 3 year old. He had a BLAST! Definitely a place for younger kids. Petting the goats, riding the swings, Ferris wheel, carousel, bikes... We rode along with him too. He liked climbing the giant shoes and watching the dancing and trying on the wooden shoe. There is places to sit and eat a lunch if you bring one. We left and went to a restaurant and came back. We spent 7 hours there haha. My son just loved the rides over and over. We went on a sat August 17 and there wasnt long lines for anything

Ava Tringali

The shops were nice and the staff was ok for the most part but the rabbits were put through pure torture. I witnessed rabbits being held by their feet and the two girls on staff did nothing. When we went to go tell them they just said oh and continued their conversation. They should not have an animal lisence if they can have proper supervision. I am appalled. This is not ok. They need to do something about this.

Chuck Krieve

Fun for the family. Went while tulips were in bloom, pretty.

Mike Rose

Nice little get away next to our hotel. Fun visit

Anna Cuozzo

Great for young kids. Did not find it worth $13 per adult. After going through the village we could have just made our purchases without going through village. Disappointed.

Jae Baetens

I have only been here a small amount of times, but they have a variety of showings. You'd have to look at the dates, times, and Seasons. I have visited the candle shop, and it was very nice. They had a candle making showing, and I was able to dip a couple of strait candles. I personally enjoyed the local pond where they had geese and ducks.

Monique Castorena

Our kids absolutely LOVE it! And so do we!

Don scott

Friendly staff, clean buildings and great prices.

Bobbie Valley

There is so much things you can do there with kids or by your safe

Carrie Walters

Beautiful grounds. Well cared for animals. Local tip- after labor day, there are often loval fundraisers on the weekends. Enjoy reduced prices with all roceeds donated to local non-profits!

Michele

Great place to bring preschoolers for a field trip. Educational talks about how wooden shoes were made, what a house looked like when a family loves there, a petting barn, and rides (swings, carousel, and ferris wheel). See a schoolhouse, cheese making, and Dutch dancers in front of an authentic street organ.

Deanna Coleman-Weathersbee

We had a nice time here.I have twin three year olds and it was a great place for them. They were able to ride the carousel, the swing ride, the ferris wheel, and see and feed the animals in the petting farm. All of that was perfect for their age. I can't really imagine bringing them beyond age six or so. It was nice that all of those attractions were included in the price. We did visit the cafe and had some ice cream, but didn't really check out the gift shops or other food shops. I saw on the website that it will be about a 3 hour visit, but I can't imagine spending 3 hours there, even if you were to visit all of the shops. So if you are in town to see the beach or other attractions, definitely know that this won't take up half of your day.

Erika Bennett

This place was a cute little replica of a Dutch village. There was quite a lot to do and see. We loved that all of the rides and activities were truly included in the price of entry! We would definitely visit again!

David Skiba

We had a great time with our 2 year old daughter.

griselda edgell

It was good family fun. Petting & feeding the animals. Rides. Learning about making fudge, shoes and playing old games. Watching traditional Dutch dances. The gift shops and so much more! It was a fun beautiful day for a visit at the village really do miss the old candle making shop, that was so amazing to see and make them.

Chris Kimberlin

This is a great experience for smaller kids! The park is very clean and well maintained and has several presentations to show folks what it was like living and growing up in times past. They also have a great old fashioned carousel and swing carnival rides. The zip line was closed the day we were there but looked like fun for little ones. The pirate water balloon toss was fun, kids live getting wet! I think the best part was the petting barn! Kids love animals!

Jennifer Peterson

This is a fun afternoon learning about the Dutch. Enjoy a quiet walk along the paths visiting statues, a petting zoo, rides for children or visiting the shops. I recommend making your own stroopwafel (delicious) and watching the presentations on pottery, cheese, and how the wooden shoes are made. Make sure you see Zach for the show presentation, he was great. Very knowledgeable and had answers for visitors questions. There is something there for all ages.

Emily Curtis

Great service, remarkable diversity, and an overall beautiful, interesting, fun, and enlightening visit. Lovely gift shop with a wide variety of beautiful Dutch Delft, wooden shoes, figurines, Dutch snacks, and other cultural gifts. Delicious cheese, charming amusement section and petting zoo, and glorious handcrafted fudge. Definitely worth the admission price and a wonderful place to revisit with future generations. Has a distinct grandmotherly feel-- so homey and warmly welcoming. A must-visit!

Becky Vechey

Very clean and kid friendly. Great outing with the grandkids. Plenty of washrooms.

Reema Gandhi

Virtual Trip to the Netherlands! Nelis’ Dutch village is a mini family-friendly Dutch theme fun place. The traditional ensembles of the entire staff, the Klompen Dance, Wooden shoe carving, cheese tasting, the pirate balloon-fight, Petting Farm— meant for people of all ages. There is so much fun stuff for the kids alone like the Rides, play areas, the Shoe slide, The wagon and the Pond with waterfowls. Do not miss out the Klompen Dance performance! It's gonna brighten up your day, but be watchful of the flying Shoe! PS- This facility has Accessible Parking, Restrooms, and Entrance! #RoadTrip

Aamir khattak

This place is designed in way that it gives a historic look, which I personally liked and enjoyed being a fan of historic places. other than that kids can have fun too as well as adults. I loved the souvenir shops, which were full of different varieties of items.

Jennifer Brogan

Such a cute place for kids and adults. Perfect for the 3-8 age range. A few rides, nice staff, very relaxed for this kind of amusement place. We had a great day.

Keith Kirby

This is a great place to take our grandkids. Always fun.

Sarah Kingsley

Fun little place for families. My son liked the goats

Johann Wiebe

Cute dutch village which actually represents the netherlands well, at least back in the days. Its obviously focused on a life style of approximately 100 years ago. Adorable animal farm, also lots of nice presentations about making clocks etc and even some proper folk dancing. All in all great for a day out for the family

Kate Michels

Great family day! My 9 & 2 year old enjoyed it as did my husband and I. Grounds were really nice and well taken care of.

Amanda Higbee

Great little place with lots to do! Definitely a place to bring the kids. There is shopping, sights to see, and lots of demonstrations. Be sure to get a combo ticket to the windmill island gardens when you buy your Dutch Village ticket. You get a discount.

Tiyana Marie

We met some friends there and my daughter got a coupon for a free game of the pirate water balloon game and a coupon to make your own stroopwaffle. Our friends however did not get one for the stroopwaffle. To say the least, there were some frustrations. We didn't even get to make our own stroopwaffle because it ended at 5 and we were unaware there was a time frame. We had a good time other than that but I wish they had more shade or other ways too cool off!

Jason Curtis

I really enjoyed this place. They had dance demonstrations, water balloon fights, animals, rides, free food samples and demonstrations and nice bits of history to go along with it. I really enjoyed the chocolate demonstration and samples and the cheese samples. Ryan made that part fairly enjoyable.

SC Chicago

Interesting place to visit. Little bit smaller than i thought. One time is enough for us

Laurance Draves

A cute touristy spot that offers a mix of the Dutch experience and classic American fare. It's dotted with quaint Dutch gifts, desserts, and rides for the younger kids. A nice place to introduce young and grade school kids to something a little different but also familiar for your more picky eaters.

Sungho Ji

Beautiful village and good place with kids. All ridings in village are free. My 6 and 4 years old chidren really enjoyed them. 4 hours will be enough to enjoy this village.

A wonderful historical time capsule attraction. Great to go to with family with plenty of activities for younger kids. The food is delicious. The activities are educational, yet entertaining. And be sure to don some wooden shoes and maybe even try out the hourly klompen dancing!

Was passing through on a day trip to Holland, and stumbled upon this place and I thought it would be fun to stop and get some food and explore the shops. Unfortunately, I would not recommend for adults. It is an odd, kid-oriented theme park that you have to buy admission to even go into the shops. Ordered food at the Hungry Dutchman Cafe, and the food was not good (bread was cold and stale.) Briefly watched a mildly entertaining dance performance that I think was clogging, but I’m not sure...

Michael Sakelarides

Very, very nice, extremely educational, great for all ages. Exhibits, shows and shops for adults, rides and a petting zoo for children. Well worth the admission. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Adam Wood

Our kids loved spending time enjoying this fun place. Staff was great and we got to learn a like bit about the Netherlands as well.

Tony Verchio

We no longer have small children so we did not want to pay the full admission price to enter the Village. If you do not pay admission you options here are very limited. You can access the cafe, gift shop and chocolate shop. To access the cheese shop for tasting and to see how shoes are made you have to pay for admission. Wish we could have accessed these other areas without paying the admission which we thought was expensive if all you wanted was to see the cheese shop and shoe making.

This lovely authentic Dutch village was a charming side trip for us. Just right to stretch our legs and learn a little about early Dutch life. We thoroughly enjoyed it all, especially the fresh and warm delicious Dutch cookies!!!

Taras Lisowsky

Great fun for small children at a reasonable price. Interesting to learn about the Dutch culture.

Lynda Schilke

Perfect for a 4 year old. he loved feeding the animals and the rides. Worth every penny.

Joseph Mackeller

We love it there. Dutch village is an annual outing for my family. The employees are always enjoyable to speak to and we like watching the dancing and eating there. We like watching the demonstrations as well.

Jeremiah Johnson

We were here with our families on the last day of the tulip festival so it was very busy but still nice. So many things to do and see. Cheese making, shoemaking, deft making and several other demonstrations. Make sure you check out the Oregon and the Dutch dancers. Of course cheese tasting is marvelous and the fudge is delicious.

I've got to say I loved this place. The old timey feel and all the neat Dutch ways of living really kept me and my family entertained the whole day. My kids loved that the animals ran freely around the park like the goats and chickens but, it wasn't so much fun around lunch time trying to eat with barnyard animals getting into your food. The park had a carousel and swing's which were fun for the children. They had an ice cream shop with the basic assortments of flavors. All in all it was a good day and a great place to take the family.

Cindie Pieracci

Great place to take the family. A few rides petting zoo. Good family fun

Robert Cole

Really fun place, great family entertainment, friendly staff who takes pride in portraying the Dutch theme. The family and I had a blast!

Marcos Ayala

Such a beautiful scene. Very helpful and enthusiastic staff. While there i was already thinking about going back. Great for kids, llama and alpaca are a huge hit.

Tina Grimes

I think this is a great place for a family to visit, especially if you have small children. It's not as interesting for older kids though.

Alaric Coury

Kind of run down. Wanted to buy some delft tiles, but they are insanely priced. I've researched these tiles for some time and they are easily priced 2-4Xs higher than they should be.

shane osnoe

Seth Cook

Pro Tip: Go on community day to get free passes for your donation. A great place for the family.

Holly Cerny

Cute place. However, it is expensive for what it is. Smaller children will enjoy...teenagers, not so much.

Allison Toren

Fun day for the family! And fresh stroopwaffels!

Loretta Whitt

What a beautiful place to visit. It made me feel like i was actually in Holland. The Tulips were bursting with color and amazing.

Sarah S.

Family oriented outdoor experience with something to learn or do for everyone. We enjoyed the rides, learning about the heritage, the animals, and especially the fudge. We definitely needed more time as an hour and a half barely scratched the surface. We will be back for a return visit!

Matt Frauenhoffer

Great place to take kids 10 and under. Best part is the animals and immersion into some of the culture.

Becca Serba

Very nice! Nice atmosphere, nice employees. Very clean as well.

Krystle Copeland

Recommend for a family with small children to visit. Lots of things for them to do and inexpensive.
