Good place to take the family but they need to be more specific on their all inclusive tickets. You think it includes food and drinks but you can only go to certain eating establishments. So it takes hour and a half or more to get your food and 2 hrs. out of your day and food is usually cold when you get it.

Samantha Lane

We had a nice time today, but I don't know that the fast pass is worth 50$. On a hot day everyone is at the waterpark and there are virtually no lines for the big roller coasters. Half the bathroom stalls were out of toilet paper, like maybe no one checks them throughout the day. The announcers for rides are so muffled over the microphones and speakers, that you cannot hear what they're even saying. 15$ for a locker is pretty steep, I don't remember them being that costly. 4$ water and you can't bring in your own beverages. I'd say the only refreshment that was worth it was the giant snow cones. They were awesome. My step daughter and I did the RIP cord. Cool ride. You pay separate from admission. The girl running that booth was high.

michael anderson

Love it. Kids love it. Needed more workers on certain rides but overall great time.

jamie lewis

Crowd was to be expected but so many rides were closed. Also every purchase I made they didnt have my complete change due to being out of pennies and/or nickels. Bought the endless drink cup only to have to run around to find a fill station that was open. Get it together Michigan Adventure!! You're better than that!

Lori Abushamleh

I had a blast. Food is super expensive and not very good. The rides were great!

David Johnston

Worst park I have ever been to. It was way to small. Every review has been written by a bot or general public. Most neglected park in the Cedar Fair chain. I wish they would get something like a raptor or RMC to make it worth going to

Scott Davis

I can't ride most rides due to back problems. My wife of 45 years and grandsons did. Beer is $8.50 16oz bottle. Food and drinks are way too much money. This is 2nd time to do it and I think last. Love the park and people. Prices are too much.

Sam Quinton

The lines were pretty quick except for the ones that were selling food. It seemed like none of the employees were properly trained. That's the only reason we left.

Heather Totten

Great place to spend the day! Bring a change of clothes and towels if you plan on getting wet, wear comfortable walking shoes, and plan ahead for unexpected weather. Check their web site before you go,sometimes the water park closes. There is no outside food allowed in the park, but you can go out to your car/truck/ van and eat there. Food in the park is kinda expensive, like most amusement parks, but there are some nice deal packages available. Im a chubby person and most of the rollercoasters were a tight fit, but they have individual lap belts and safety bars. Still had a great time though!

Nick Gerfen

First time to Michigan Adventures. Had a great time! Only problem was a ride broke down as we were next in line. We waited 5 minutes and it resumed. Also, the price for food is outrageous but good portions. $40 for a pizza, $12 for chicken tenders

Higgie Foog

Kids had a great time. Skip the all you can eat buffet it was not worth the cost.

Adam Kingsbury

My family had a great time at the water park with my 11 month old. My son can't walk yet but he can crawl and he loved the kids section of the water park. They have a section where the water is maybe an inch high and the ground is rubbery so it does not hurt his knees to crawl. With my close supervision he was able to crawl around and play with all the water sprayers. His excitement made our day and we were so happy that he had a place to play in the water.

Rebecka Willard

Beautiful day had fast pass made the day so much better not standing in long lines. No employee ever stuck out to me did not get to talk to many of them other wise a great day

Minister Ruelle

We loved the fast pass, park was clean and employees were super friendly. NICK at the sea dragon tonight was really great! We had the last ride of the night and he was really attentive to my kids.

Kelsey Klukos

Welcome to Michigan's Adventure where you can have "two parks for the price of one". 1. Parking is $15. So are lockers to lock your stuff up. 2. Fries are $6. Meals are $13. Oh and food and drinks are prohibited in the park. 3. Water is $4. 4. Lines are long, so you spend 80% of your time waiting in line. Or maybe aimlessly walking around dodging people and young children. 5. I would expect waiting 30 minutes to get out of the parking lot at the end of the day. If this sounds appealing to you, by all means it's great!

Leah Foster

Amazing time here. Definitely worth the trip and money. Would recommend to any family looking for a weekend get away. Also a lot cleaner than other parks.

morgan zach

Much can be said about this park. Great for the kids and great for a carnival themed park. For enthusiasts, Shivering Timbers is worth the credit, but don't expect much else. Great waterpark and cute attractions throughout park.

Sparkles Rogers

Me and my family had a blast can't wait to come back next year.

Really Branden

Quite expensive, but if you go earlier in the week you're bound to have a good time with pretty low wait times. If you're only going 1-3 days, get the single day cup. If you're going more you may want to look at the seasonal one. I had a good time, my sister clearly did as well.

Jennifer Wilson

Of course we had a decent time since we took a group of kids to an amusement park. But one ride was not running because a the exit gate was broke, they had a kid running another ride and he let too many people on so he kicked off a bunch of people (including 2 young kids that were sitting by themselves not hurting anything) and very rudely told them that they had to wait at the END of the line, none of the concession stands had anything ready except drinks for most of the day and the people working those stands were extremely rude too. Probably won’t be back, there’s plenty other amusement parks that will treat you and your children like an inconvenience.

Todd Graham

It was near the end of the season and during the week after most schools started, so there was hardly anyone there. Never had to wait in line for anything. Pretty much rode everything in the park in under 5 hours, many things more than once. All the staff were friendly. Only thing that wasn't great was the food at the diner. Onion rings were cold, the croissant was a rock. The malt was awesome though.

Andy Paradi

Typical park, busy, safe, clean, organized. Get a cabana, this is the view from one by the lazy river. Lost one star because some rides closed due to mechanical/staffing issues. Bring lunch, eat in parking lot if you have limited funds. Get the unlimited drink cup, worth it! You can bring in one reusable cup for water that can be filled at stations, but there are lines sometimes.

rowdit Dowdit

Everything in the park is pricey but oh well, $15 to park is ridiculous. Other than that, the place is awesome, I try to come every year. Rides are fun and theres something for everyone. Bring the whole family

Dominic Jakubowski

I just drove 200 miles one way to find out that their water park was closed. It was not even on their website this morning. Their regular amusement park is open and we did not find out until in the park. They did not even discount tickets. I should have went to cedar point.....When walking out less than an hour after we went in a nice employee up front asked why we were leaving we told her because of the water park being closed. She told us to speak to her manager. We did and he told us that it was our own fault and that he could do nothing in a nasty tone. What great customer service. Guess we are going to Sandusky next year for sure!

Brandon Petrowski

Lot of fun, wait times were pretty good except one ride. Prices were ok, about what you'd expect. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Johnny L

Took my 2 girls who are 9 and 5 on a Tuesday. There are different areas for these 2 due to age differences and interests. Great way to introduce different roller coaster challenges to them. Then spent the afternoon in the water park and they loved that which I was impressed with how clean and modern it looked. They have life jackets hanging around for young ones.

Amber Mead

My family and I spent the weekend here. I've never met an overall staff that was so rude in my whole life. When you go to an amusement park and pay the money that you do you expect friendly staff. No smiles, hi, hello, have a good day, nothing. Then my mother in law and I went to a place called "Beach Bites" to get food and the woman working there was so rude it was unreal! Not to mention there were probably 10 people in front of us and we waited in line for well over an hour, we waited longer in that line than we did for any of the rides. This was my first visit to Michigan Adventures before and I'll never go back again sad to say because I can count on 1 hand how many people were actually nice. I know it's hot out and they probably don't make much, but they chose that job. It's no excuse. The icing on the cake was when my son got on the boats in the very front of the park, my daughter and niece we're on the big Dipper. They both got done and the attendant was still walking around checking the belts, my daughter and niece wanted to ride with my son. She's looked right at them did her walk around and came back up and turned the key. She knew they wanted to ride but that would be way too much I guess to let two girls on the ride when there were 4 or 5 open boats to sit in. Between our hotel, gas, food tickets, and amusement park tickets we spent well over $1000... NEVER going back again. Maybe you guys should have a meeting with your staff, let them know even just a smile goes a long way.

Cindy Farah

Very fun place to go but water park needs to stay open longer

Cousin Love

Me and my family go 1 time every year and I love it. I love it because you can get a good price for a price of 2 parks for 1. My family love the staff and variety of every thing for my 1 year old brother to my 18 year old sister. It is worth the drive because you get family time and extra fun with the family. You should come here when you are in Michigan.

Marc Guerne

Had a great time. Don't think about the money and just have fun..cause it is expensive, like all amusement parks. Great Coasters and a massive water park. 2 Thumbs Up!

Nathan Haller

Really disappointed, 30 to 60 minute wait for food! Most of the water slides are not operational. Rides are good. But the whole experience is not enjoyable. They need more people working to shorten the food lines and they need to improve the food choices. Water rides took forever. If all the rides where operational the lines would have been shorter.

Customizegamer 15

It was really fun definitely wasting your money if you don't go one the Shiver me timbers or whatever it's called

Aaron and Katie

The 50's style diner up front... Great food, prices are to be expected to be high for a seasonal place, music in the jukebox was a 90's rnb/boys to men type. Terrible selection! I wanted music from Grease, or Elvis. Only reason you get a 4 but you really deserve a 3 for that lol.

Philip Zimmermann

First visit here, did not do the water park, and my son and I had a really great time. Park was incredibly clean, staff and ride operators were friendly throughout, and food was good. Definitely would come back again.

LuckeySev

Nice affordable Amusement Park. Best to get there early to get on all the rides. They need to extended hours because they close to early

Amy McGough

We had a blast! And the cost is unbeatable. You get 2 parks for half the price of one. Just awesome!!

Susan Croley

Had a great time, but only thing that was not enjoyable was they allow people to have tubes in the wave pool. Many places do not allow these and now I see why. Many people in tubes were basically running into and over people without. Besides this had fun as a family!

Darlene Robison

If you have ever been to Cedar Point or Kings island... don't go here. My level of disappointment is unreal. The wooden coasters need to be replaced. The employees are nice but they don't put in any effort. The place smelled like urine. We are Platinum card members and go to Cedar Point several times a month when it's open, I guess we are spoiled. I am surprised that Cedar Fairs doesn't improve this park.

Cathy Clark

Crazy fun at an affordable price. We love that the water park is included. Rides and attractions for all ages. Easier to park, to navigate and much less expensive than big brother.

Nate Alwood

Very nice and clean park, good selection of roller coasters for a small park, many kids rides and also your typical fair rides & games. Many of the coasters are not very accommodating for taller or larger people. Overall was a great time.

serpentreedz

Very expensive. Fast pass is good to have for what it works on. Only had one ride that fast pass didn't work on. The girl running it said fast pass isn't a guarantee to cut. We still had to wait like everyone else. All the other rides that it works on you go right up to the ride.

Skyler Hall

Good experience. Kids live the coasters. The log ride still a classic and fun. Spent the whole day there with my kids 7 and 6. The rides were good, alot of variety for all ages. I will say food prices are ridiculously high. Getting the refillable bottle was worth the 13$. The water park is on par with the park part. I do wish they had a way to have the large water tubes at the top of the slide. It is hard to carry them up if you are alone with kids. Other than that I don't have any other complaints about the water park.

Katie G

The waterpark is a BLAST!! Park is incredibly clean. Rides are decent, and so glad they have a large selection for the shorter and less brave kiddos.

kenan obeid

This is a fun place to take your kids to. If for some reason you are unable to go to cedar point, this is the best place to go to. Very affordable and worth every dollar.

Gemila Loper

Fun amusement park! No, it's not a Cedar Point, but the rides and the waterpark are lots of fun and perfect for a "mixed-interest" group. We always have a good time. We only wish there was a better variety of food choices (for a little less money).

Amy Lynne

Had a great time today with friends and coworkers. A very nice amusement park, clean and well kept. The park employees are very kind, polite and respectful. Although the food and souvenirs are a bit costly others will enjoy the items I did purchase. Even at the age of 53, I enjoyed the rides as much as I had when my children were younger. A wonderful way to share a day of laughs and fun with others.

Jason Morris

Great time. The day was overcast and it misted on and off all day. Which actually made for a great park day. We went on a Wednesday and never had to wait more than 15 minutes for anything. So glad I didn't purchase the fast pass prior to arrival. Of course the food is overpriced, of course the pops from the pop machine are about a hundred bucks (not really but 5) but what do you expect from an amusement park? I personally prefer Cedar Point due to the abundance of coasters. And this park really hasn't added too much in forever. But it's a great family day and at the end of the day that is all that matters.

Nathan Ludwig

Very great theme park, a bit small, but worth it. You can buy a fast lane, but you won't need it. Unlike other theme parks, they don't do haunt and close after Labor Day. The park has a variety of both water and dry rides. Staying for a day would be but 2 is a day too many. You come here for 1 day at a time.

Finley Molina

My kids really enjoy going to this place. Every time we go, we have a good time. However, I don't know if it's the heat or something else, but some of the staff, not all, can be somewhat cranky. Price wise they are on par with other amusement parks. Whether you have toddlers or teenagers, there is something for everyone. I recommend buying the food pass. It's worth your money.

Rebecca Morrow

We had fun but literally $15 at a time for everything. Also very long amount of time in line to park, and get in. And another hour in line for chicken strips. All I could see were ways that these thing could have been done a lot more efficiently and time friendly. Pay more employees if your going to nickel and dime families to that extent. $15 to park. $15 for a locker. Every meal hot dog and fries $13. I completely expect to pay more for these things but it is outrageous for the quality and efficiency of the park.

John Stuive

The attractions were great! But, you can see the 3 stars, the problem was that the operator on one of the rides wouldn't let my daughter on because she was wearing a swimsuit bottom instead of shorts... Even though I was wearing the same type of swimsuit bottom. It doesn't stop there, the food is ridiculously overpriced, and when we were there, 5 RIDES CLOSED DOWN! Other than that, we had a really fun time!

L Edwards

The park is the perfect size for a full day trip. This was our first time here and we had a blast!! Fast passes are totally worth it!!!

Michigan Cur

Always a great adventure! This was the first time I've had to use the medical facilities due to my son stubbing his toe. The staff Sara and Brittany were a delight while helping wrap him up. We had several ride operators who kept us smiling and laughing while waiting in the lines. That's always a great way to help keep your mind off of waiting no matter how quickly or slowly the line is moving. Looking forward to another trip sometime soon.

Leslie Maginity

Always so much fun. Get the fast pass.. Worth it! Spend less time waiting in line with fast pass!

AJ Zoel

I use to work here 5 years ago.. a lot has remained the same.. but the price for admission, parking, food, and everything else. Please don't make a trip out here if you can't afford expensive food. You can also bring a cooler full of food and leave it in your vehicle... Best thing to do. There are metal detectors and bag searches now before you can enter the park. They search you every time you go in. Bumper boats are now an extra cost. Whereas they used to be considered a ride included in admission. I still love the park but they need to stop raising prices so much. Tickets are cheaper at Meijer than the park. So be mindful of that. If you have small children and enjoy rides, please take a trustworthy person with you that doesn't like rides to watch your children so you can thoroughly enjoy your time.

Joshua Cranmer

Great park. Perfect for our family of 4. You will enjoy your time riding roller coasters, playing in the water, or relaxing under the warm Michigan sun.

Angel Clements

We enjoy it usually. Last time we went I would say the customer service was sub par. The children running the concession stands were very rude.

Linda Rice

Amusement park are always fun, I'll give it that. All the concession help sucked. Poor attitudes and lack of knowledge. We actually had an hour wait for food after we placed an order for burger and fries! All day drink wrist bands fade, then they give you an attitude and expect the customer to read the number to them, which isn't there anymore! Several water rides closed down.

Heather Totten

Great place to spend a day! It would be advisable to check their website before visiting, sometimes the water park closes unexpectedly. Plan ahead for weather bring a jacket or hoodie and if you plan on getting wet, bring a change of clothes. There is no outside food allowed, and food in the park is $$$$ super expensive, like all amusement parks. There is plenty of shade and benches to rest on. 5 rollercoasters.3 water rides, games are $2 or 3 dollars, 5 bucks to guess your age.weight or birth year, you get a stuffed animal either way...there is lots of different places to eat, no alcohol in park, no smoking either.

Eric Miller

Not veteran friendly and horrible customer service entering the park. They promote that they appreciate our veterans, NOT. They advertise a veteran discount, we get to the counter and my veteran wife asked for the vet discount and they said no, had to do it online even though she was showing them her vet license. Then online they want paper work that many vets don't even have. Also they offer a discount online, only to pay an online surcharge that made the tickets more than paying at the counter. And lastly, they have a two snack guideline per household. Really, so a family of three is allotted two snacks. Pretty crappy. Park is ok but not veteran or customer focused at all.

Geoffrey W

It's been a few years since I've been here but they still have the great mix of thrill rides and family rides that I remember. The water park side of things is especially nice. We used our trip as an introduction to roller coasters for younger members of the group and they loved zach's zoomer.

Ionut Pusta

Highly recommend for the whole family. Great place to introduce little ones to roller coasters.

Jessica Baptiste

We buy tickets every year for the entire family. Family friendly safe environment, food options, fast lines and the water park is great. Lockers are packed in a very small area in water park. Easy to take a wagon to load and navigate around the park with kids, have always had a really good experience. Staff on duty has usually seemed helpful and friendly.

Good variety of food, good selection of rides between water and dry rides. When we visited it had very short wait lines. Had some issues with refilling our drinks and the penny machines were out of order. Having to here the staff repeatedly say the same thing at every ride got old real fast, they seem very bored and just ready to leave. The rides were a blast though so if your a thrill seeker looking to have fun or take the kids out I would recommend coming here at least once in your life.

Debbie Logan

Over the years we have visited the park with our children and now the grand children. Yesterday we visited Michigan Adventure probably the last time. We decided it's not worth the unclean conditions at eating areas. Food on the ground trash not emptied. We always bring lunch and suffer through the heat while eating. Maybe it was because it was close to the end of the season that conditions were poor and no staff cares. We would choose to eat in the the park if it weren't for the undesirable food at extremely inflated prices. We've made some good memories there but will no longer visit the park.

My Butt

This place is awesome! Everything from the main area to the water park is so much fun. The main area where all of the roller coasters are has so much stuff! It is also where the ride the park is so well known for is, Shivering Timbers. Shivering Timbers is a SUPER tall wooden coaster that has a bumcch of big drops! It is one of my personal favorites at the park.

Paul Eckert

Our 4 yr old had her first fun filled adventure riding every ride , some multiple times. The laughter & smiles on her face were pure joy

gee moi

Great rides with the Fast Lane Pass and All-Day Dining! Great combo pack offered for one day admission also included a drink cup and parking for a little over $100 per person. Plenty of moderate thrill rides with the great coasters: Wolverine Wildcat, Shivering Timbers, and Thunderhawk. Only drawback was the 7pm closing time on a Friday. (!!) Great food choices and plenty of it with the dining pass. My favorite were the chef's salad and the sub sandwiches. Really enjoyed my stay!

Bill Bereza

Fun rides, but they used to allow you to bring in food. Considering how slow and poor the food options are, I wish they allowed that. There used to be a nice picnic area.

Courtney Kachur

The kids really enjoyed the two day visit. I know, what does this review add to the mix? Not much new info here. Just adding my two cents. We were able to be there about 8 hours each day before the teens ran out of energy for more. The food is god awful expensive. Pack a cooler. $10 for two sodas that McDonald’s would call “medium”. $34 for three elephant ears. Other than those items, we ate out of the cooler in the car. The rides did have a tendency to break down, regularly. One ride (the one where you hang down from the track overhead) was broken so repeatedly while we were there that none of us rode at all. Just as soon as you saw it running again it was stopped again.

Ben Parrott

We went on a Saturday but were able to ride everything we wanted. Prices are decent for an amusement park. Kids loved it.

Bill Reffitt

Nice small family oriented amusement park in Michigan. Small selection of coasters, great selection of family rides and rides for little kids. Water park is awesome and included in ticket admission. Park could use some updating though.

Nate and Melissa Nelsen

Great variety of roller coasters and water slides, my whole family loves this place. Delicious pizza near the water park side! The young summer help is pretty unenthusiastic, which can put a damper on it.

dustin price

Love you guys... I enjoyed it as a kid and my kids enjoy it. #Muskegon MI

Shana Scarborough

Excellent experience! The rides were fun, and plentiful. The ticket prices were reasonable. But food and drink once inside were ridiculously over priced (minus a star for that reason)

danyale demoss

Over this past weekend I made family arrangements to the park. Unfortunately my daughter who’s height was just under an inch to ride the mad mouse was turned down, but yet kids her same height were able to ride. Of course before we were able to ride I’ve recorded kids her same height that were able to ride but the actual difference in this situation was our race. My family is African American and every kid who was allowed to ride was Caucasian with the same height challenge. I asked for a manager and was instantly gave a snarling face and was told “ I’ll just call security and they’ll escort you off”. The security did come talk to my husband and I about a safety hazard for too small children which was well understood and PERFECTLY FINE but why wasn’t it applied to every ethnicity? I’ve never been so totally disgusted with Michigan Adventure staff personnel.

Kemal Bahadir

Was a little bit slow. The park is nice and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food is very expensive and just not good. Avoid the broadwalk fires. They are worst fries. Greasy and totally over salted. Just unbeatable. The rides are fun and plenty.

Terry Skinner

Definitely a place designed for families and younger kids. If you are a thrill ride seeker, I would most definately suggest going to a different place.

Tabatha Shooter

Hubby and I got the all inclusive pkg, it includes entry, fast pass wristband and food&drink from allot of vendors evey 90 min. It was a really good deal all in all, the bad part was that snoopy only came out once the whole day so kids didn't get to see him and my son couldn't ride allot of rides due to height ( that was totally expected) my daughter loved the big wave pool. It turned out to be a great day!!! And if planning on going other the night before stay at lake schnep-a-ho campground it's an amazing place!

angel balkin

Went on a weekday. Staff was nice. Place very clean. Tickets not too pricey for the attractions. Had so much fun. Will be returning.

Jeffery Wilkinson

Nice place to spend the day with the family. Not that thrilled about paying 15 bucks per carload just to park there. 39 bucks is plenty per person. Food is expensive. That is why we bring a cooler full of food. You cant take the cooler in the park. But you can leave as much as you want. Just have you hand stamped. The water park is fun. I enjoyed the funnel of fear. My new favorite ride. They have great water rides. You ride with a tube. You could easlier spend 2 days there. Safety is a major concern. Clean. Park people are not very knowledgeable. As to where the location of where there some of the rides where.

Liesa Swejkoski

This was my first time. Didn't know what to expect. I really liked it. Clean park in great location. Was a little bit high- priced in my own opinion, but Meijer will sell you discount tickets. By the way, you might want to pack a healthy lunch in a cooler to keep in your car. The food is expensive. There is a buffet option that I didn't have the opportunity to try, and I will next time. Only drawback was that awful person at the swan paddle boats. She was rude to quite a few people. She was curt, non-smiling, rushing us - yet there was no huge line like we had to move along. I asked her if I needed a life jacket. I thought she was going to bite my head off when she answered. Yikes! All the other staff was smiling and courteous.

Joshua Stoddard

Only real problems was the lack of bathrooms and the overall layout of the water park. I have three kids under 8 and they loved that they could ride most if the rides there. Had a good experience! Get a souvenir cup! Its so worth it to fill up for free for the rest of the day!!!

Shock family Fun times

Great waterpark, good rides. We always have fun at Michigan adventure! Great local amusement park! The water park is our favorite! One of the best. Good food options too. Affordable. Friendly staff!

Erik Miles

Everything costs you here. It doesn't stop at the expensive entry fee. Come with a full wallet or plan on not eating or drinking. Best thing to do is bring a cooler full of sandwiches and drinks as you can exit and re-enter so long as you get a stamp to re-enter.

Justin McCoy

A cedar fair park, the company also operates Kings island and cedar point. The park is more similar to Kings island. Our trip included an 8 and 10 year old. The park was not too small. Not too big. Something for everyone. The park felt clean and the staff was kind. We spent about 4 hours in the amusement rides and 4 hours in the water park and loved both. Especially recommend the funnel of fear and shivering timbers.

Dreamer Bryant-Allen

The water park for kids was impressive. Lots of room to spread out. Two wave pools, a regular pool, splash pad, slides and a tower of waterslides all for toddlers and young kiddos

Fabby De La Rosa

It was AMAZING!! the staff was very helpful and friendly! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Okay, I have two kids I love to take them here along with my husband. I feel like the variety of rides is amazing, and they have rides for everyone! Whenever we come here, we literally go on every ride the kids want to go on!

Sarai Mota

By far my favorite amusement park. I've been to many but Michigan's Adventures is and will always be my favorite. Everything from the rides to the people and the food. I love it!

Jason Cunningham

The park overall is quite nice and well operated. Definitely better during the week when the crowds are smaller. The food options are a joke and WAY overpriced. Stay away from the buffet; biggest waste of money there. Should have asked for a refund. Still had a good day, just next time I will pack food and go back to my car to eat.

Miguel Rivera Ortiz

The park itself it’s Great. I think they have everything nicely arrange physically, BUT THE LINES.... Wow, they are so slow that if you don’t buy their “fast lane” service you’ll end up just going to 2-3 rides in a time frame of 4-5 hours. TOO SLOW! I will NOT comeback!!!

Denny Toppi

Not worth the trip. Rides are rough and need some updating. We went on a weekday. PRO: LifeGuards do NOT miss a beat, they are 100% on it. BUT CONS: Other Employee morale, general happiness is not good. Several experiences of unhappy employees. Received attitude getting on a ride, my son was nervous about getting on one and asked the attendant if he was big enough for the harness and she snapped at him. Like surprised him being nervous was acceptable. Was waiting in line for food, lady took my money and then employees just stood there with no food being served, after 10 minutes I asked if they served food here and she bit my head off. Apparently they ran out but were still taking orders and not letting anyone know? Weird experience and manager would not come over to talk to me. Wave pool and lazy river was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Lots of tubes under filled.

I love Michigan's adventure! It's got lots of stuff for smaller kids to do and big kids alike. It's not too big which is nice, but big enough that you can attend the whole day there, if you want. Ticket prices aren't bad, but food costs are pretty typical for theme parks.

K Size

Water park is pretty good. The funnel is the best. The coasters are good for a small park, but they are a pretty tight for anyone taller or bigger. If it weren't for my kids I wouldn't be interested in most of the coasters. Nice clean park, staff are nice, younger kids rides were interesting enough for them. Overall most people should be able to have a fun day.

Essie Lownsbery

To be honest it's been almost 20 yrs since been here. Absolutely nothing has changed except the game room. Yeah new games all out of order. There needs to be more little kid's rides.

Cyndi Stamberger

Lines are always short, and the rollercoasters are a Cedar Point kind of thrill. Managed really well too. Awesome customer service. My family went to park on July 20th for my little brothers birthday, and unfortunately it started to storm. The park actually told us to bring our tickets back for anther day that summer, and we could get in for free!

Curtis Lee Putman

Great. Not quite on the scale of cedar point but a great value. The water park is excellent. Life guards everywhere.

Dave Ball

Love it, it's a lot of without the hustle and bustle feeling of cedar point. Going to the water park tomorrow will update on that. We also took advantage of the eat all day for$29 it's quite a bargain if you use it right considering everything in these parks are very pricey. The water park was great!

Priya Ashok

Thrilling experience. Ours was a family trip and we absolutely loved our time here.

Kevin Daley

Great local amusement destination! Parking and entry costs are as expected for such an attraction, so plan accordingly. We attended before school was out for the summer, so they were a little short on help (high school kids) so some attractions were closed. We had a great time. I love visiting this hidden Michigan Adventure.

Theodore VanderEnde

Little expensive for what's still offered. It has always felt that Michigan's adventure is behind on times when it comes to the latest and greatest. Food quality is decent but still very over priced for what you get. 10 dollars for a funnel cake....I'm a bigger guy and it my personal problem that I share with a lot of other amuzment goers, however, I have a hard time fitting in 80% of the attractions. I know there is safety standards and I get that...but if one can't participate in the " whole experience" entrance discount would be greatly appreciated.

Suprena Flamand

Had a wonderful time with the family. Not alot of thrill rides for the shorter people. Mad Mouse is a great ride for the shorter and tall alike. My son in law is a bigger man (muscular) and did not fit in most of the roller coasters. He was able to go on the slides. As with and amusement park expect a lot of walking. Again we all had a great time.

Dee Galloup

It's a great place to go the ride wait times weren't horrible when we went. I would suggest going to the water park first because it closes earlier and I would pack a cooler for lunch you are only allowed to bring in one bottle of water per person. The only thing that was disappointing was prices for food or drinks. $4.25 for a bottle of water is pretty steep for me! Also the photo package didn't seem worth it to me paid almost $40 for 3 pictures I was better off just purchasing after the ride. But overall a good experience we will be back just more prepared next time!

Joe Dissmore

In the park for two hours when it opened and was able to ride 2 rides. Bumper Cars and the swings. The employees working those two rides we so slow too! What a huge waste of time. At this point, I decided that we weren't going to keep waiting an hour for every ride, so I went and bought FastLane passes. I feel like there is no way you can go to this park and expect to have fun unless you have FastLane passes. The water park was dirty and stunk like feces. This will be the last time I go to Michigan Adventure. Not worth the money, and definitely not worth your time. The employees seem to hate their jobs, so they walk with the urgency of sloths. Such a bummer.

steve tomasko

1st time at the park. Super clean and spotless. Great friendly staff.... food pricey though. I was so impressed I purchased a season pass.

Jacob Walter

Great place to have fun. Everyone has a great time here. Everything in the park, food, drinks, games is really expensive though. No pushy sales people trying to sell you everything. Love to go!!

Jeffery Davidson

We had a lot of fun here. This place has a good selection of water slides and thrill rides. It’s a good place if you like wooden roller coasters because it has three. The food options aren’t great on site, but it’s altogether a good day trip.

Kari VanSingel

Fun. Food staff is VERY lazy and rude. I would recommend the fast pass for sure. Food is was over priced so pack a cooler and leave it in your vehicle. Otherwise its a good time. Variety of rides for all ages and thrill levels. We loved the climbing structure in the water park. It has water slides so the young ones can get used to the idea before taking on the big slides. I would love to see more coupons come out to make this trip more affordable.

Dalinda Garcia-Timoteo

It was an awesome experience! Completely family friendly and not overpriced. The lines for the rides are not bad at all. No more than a 20 minute wait.

IsabelM7

It's good, but not great. Fun to visit every once in awhile with great rides and a water park. But it isn't the cleanest, the staff isn't the friendliest, and the food is way overpriced and isn't even good. Also, they don't have straws or lids that come with the drinks because they want you to pay for them separately. They also don't allow any photos because they want you to pay for those separately as well. Pretty sure it's just about money for them rather than making it fun for people. They also do a terrible job of making sure handicapped spaces aren't taken by people that aren't handicapped. I was recently there with my cousin who is handicapped and her family, and all the handicapped parking spaces were taken up by rude people that weren't handicapped that just wanted to be closer to the entrance, and the staff there did nothing about it. Please don't let this happen!!

Angie E

Great family park ..good price.. had a great time with my family will definitely return

Drew Smith

Great time with kids, worried about the amount of rides available for 2 and 5 year old bit we found enough. Spent most of our time in the water park, Cabana was a great idea for somewhere to relax and have a spot to leave our wagon. Lockers were available. First time, won't be the last.

Johan King

Prefect weather. Nice layout with new rides. I wish there were more ways to shade the park on hot sunny days. We were melting out there

Brianne Bibakis

Love this place! Super clean and so much fun! Not crazy busy either like all other amusement parks!

Darrell Brown

Waited in line for 52 min for food today. In the hot sun. Once it was our turn to order, the lady told us they are “no longer selling food.” And we had to go find another food station. I called to speak to a supervisor and the Human Resources lady told me that there wasn’t anything she can do to satisfy my problem I had and it kinda was “it is what it is.” Pizza stand I went to didn’t even have the cheese on the pizza, it was NEXT to it and all SLOPPED together on one plate. Very DISAPPOINTED. Supervisors don’t do anything when you complain and just treat you like a door mat that has money. As long as they get your money, they don’t care. I would never waste another penny at this place for me or my family

Kim Sorrelle

Always fun. The staff is probably new for the season so they are still learning but very nice. The screen ordering system at the diner did not work for is. It took a while to get a manager but when she came she did a great job making sure that we were taken care of. Some of the park could use a little TLC but I highly recommend the park for a fun family day.

dave birr

We had a great time. Good assortment of rides. Reasonable admission price.

Iron

Went there, bought a ticket and a fast pass (which is way to much) got in the park and half the rides were shutdown due to losing power from the night before. Was able to ride 3 rides and then a storm came in and they lost power again. So I pretty much just blew 200 down the drain. I’m not mad about the rain coming in, I should have looked at the weather. What I am truly upset about is, half the rides were shut down from a power issue from the night before. I believe the place should have had a sign in the front gate saying half of the rides shutdown due to power. Instead they knew half their rides were shutdown and they proceeded to take people’s money for half of a park and also for only 3 hours of it open. A lot of people lost money and they made a ton of money. Park was only open for 3 hours before rain came in. And they had the balls to offer 10 percent to people for another day. Waste of money, gas and time!

Elliana James

I love the water park the most!! The funnel is super fun. I went on a Thursday in August and it wasn’t very busy, especially later in the day around five. The wooden rides are fun. There is a lot of things to do for little kids as well which was nice.

Caden Lohr

Thought it is small, and often regarded as an amusement park not worthy of visiting, this is truly an incredible park. It offers rides and attractions for all sorts of people of all ages, including a water park which has equally as many or more rides than the actual amusement park. The rides (especially Wolverine Wildcat and Shivering Timbers) can get rough, but if you ride in the correct seat, you will be fine (Shivering Timbers ONLY front seat, near the front on Wolverine Wildcat). The scenery at the park is also great. If they could get a new ride soon, that would be wonderful, but either way it’s a great, small, family park with things to do for everyone and decently low prices.

Aaron Drost

Clean, fun, and safe park. Friendly staff. Abundance of activities for all ages. Highly recommended for small or large groups, couples, or any thrill seeker!

Daniel DuPuis

Our family of 5 (kids aged 12, 10 and 7) had a great time. We enjoyed the coasters as well as the water park. A few downers though - the first bathrooms we came across had the women's side closed, so there was an attendant there having groups of men and women take turns. Also, many of the coasters were VERY shaky. All of us complained of soreness after riding them. And, we went on a Friday a few weeks before the end of the season, but there were quite a few food and souvenir stands closed. We realllly wanted an iced coffee, but alas, it was one of the closed stands.

James Bowles

If I could give zero stars I would I brought my family of 9 including my 5 children ranging from ages 9 to 1 month. My oldest Son was the only one able to ride anything. They still made us pay for the rest of them. We complained that we had to pay and that they weren’t able to ride anything and they said sorry there is nothing I can do. I would NOT recommend coming here unless ALL of your children are 8 years or older if not you will have to pay for them to sit and watch their siblings have fun on the rides. Definitely a HUGE waste of $400 next time I will save my money and go to the lake

Chris Larmore

This place is a joke. awful organization. awful food. awfully crowded. dirty. old. parking was basically a one hr wait then a free for all. lines just to go to bathroom near pool. id go to the beach over this anyday

Alexis Epps

It's EXTREMELY dangerous to stop a roller coaster in the middle of a ride because someone has a cell phone visible. If phones on rides were dangerous, they'd be banned at Disney (which they are not). It is WAY more dangerous to stop the ride than to allow some teenager to take their pictures and then put it away. If they drop the phone, it's their own fault. Instead you put everyone on the ride in danger (not to mention ruining the ride experience) so that you can tell someone to put away a phone. Also, why on earth are you charging for certain rides (like bumper boats) when we already pay a ridiculous price for admission???

Jackie Bastiaanse

$15 to park, $30 admission, bottled water $4.50, Icee $13.99. Crazy prices. Make sure to bring your own food and drink and go to the parking lot to eat.

Larry Mcquiston

Loved it. Would have been 5 stars but water park was closed. I did get to ride a dragon on my birthday though so that was great

J Russ

The place was great fun for all ages! But especially w/ kids. There were quite a few employees that could have used some retraining although. Poor attitudes and there customer service was a joke.

Kiran Kumar

The water rides are fun. 3 stars 'cos they charge mandarorily for both the water rides and non-water rides, but it's impossible to cover everything reasonably in a day (and have an enjoyable time). So, a marketing ploy that works for them, but pricey for the public.

B H

Had an amazing time with the kids. We got here at 11 and didn't leave until 8. Kids (2 and 5) had a great time. I really liked that the map had a section which gave all of the height requirements for each ride. Our two year old is below 36" so it was nice to look and find what rides she could go on. I think they had the most fun in the wave pool. We did purchase the fast passes since we only come here annually and I would say it's well worth it. We barely ever had to wait and it allowed us to ride the majority of the rides that we wanted to. It also allowed my wife and I to ride some of the adult rides separately, in a short amount of time, while the other watched the kids. The park wasn't too crowded on a weekday so I would suggest going then if you can. Food is expensive, but as expected. We did eat prior to going into the park and I think that was helpful. The all day drink was worth the price $14 as we shared it and saved some money there. I would also suggest just bringing in an empty water bottle and filling it up there so you don't have spend $3 for a 20oz water. Overall, had a great time with the family!

Josephine Regan

Good place being local. We've gone here since it was deer park fun land in the 1980s. Lots of memories. We feel the prices are too much for what they offer. And it will cost you about $20 a person to eat lunch here. We make sure we eat before we go and definitely don't go on a weekend, you'll be lucky to ride 5 times all day as the park is too small to accommodate so many patrons.

Beth and Khalil Rahwan

My family had a great time at Michigan Adventure. We went on a Monday and many of the rides you could just walk right up and get on. On several of the little kid rides, my daughter was the only one on the ride. Food prices are ridiculous, but that is expected. I would avoid the really big wooden roller coaster as everyone complained of neck pain and a head ache after they left it. It should be destroyed and something new put in its place. I would also avoid the scrambler when it is really hot. It is all metal so it will burn your butt and legs when you sit down. As would make sense, the rides with water were extremely popular during the hottest part of the day. Also, the rides near the exit were pretty busy during the end of the night. Overall, we had a great time and every thing was pretty much as I remembered it from 25 years ago.

Andy Stampor

This was a terrible weekend experience. Lines were insane for the prices paid. Barely road any rides, maybe 5 coasters. There were crazy lines even in the water park to just get a tube for the lazy river. They need a realistic max capacity, because that was a waste of money. A weekday was much better last year, but they need to fix the weekends.

Shannon Nachtmann

First off, get the $14 all day pop if two or more can share, its easily worth it. It's inevitable you're going to end up renting a tube, get it right away before they're out. Don't return it, go near the rental area and since they're out people will be eager to buy yours. Sell it to them and get your rental $ back. The lines for the coasters are crazy long when the park opens, but near empty during mid day when everyone is in the water park. Take time to bounce back and forth, it's not that far away. Food and beer is crazy expensive, have both in the car and take a beer/lunch break. Save a ton and then some.

Michael Heppe

Nice rollercoaster/water park. My only issues was the rides shutting down. It seemed the rides were constantly shutting down that day and then reopening. But I guess it's better safe than sorry.

Mike Heyse

Great Park, worth the admission price. It really is two parks and both, Amusement and Water, are fun with plenty of things to fill a day. As someone who has been going since the Deer Park (it's old name), this park has grown greatly in the last 30 years. It is currently a nice day trip size. Unlike larger, Cedar Point type parks you won’t be worried about missing a great deal of the park with a single day visit. You can just plan on your rides and go, or even just mossy around. It also means shorter lines and less congestion.

Tim

Nice park. Could use more staff. Many rides staffed with only one employee. Operator for sea dragon tried starting the ride before locking down safety bars. She said "my bad". Seriously, too many kids running the rides.

Hilary Pas

My husband, brother in law and our 3 teenage boys went to MI Adventure on July 7 (Sunday). The rides were great and the lines were not too long which made the day enjoyable (If I had to guess the longest wait was 20 minutes... the fast pass was not necessary). The reason not a 5 star rating was the food prices.... almost $9 for a slice of pizza & over $13 for chicken strips.... NOPE!! We did purchase refillable drinks for $13.99 w/all day free refills which we did take advantage of :) Another thing to note is parking is $15, although I do think they state this on the website.

the unknown heart of the Lion

It was pretty good. I got my sister to go on Cork Screw and she liked. I rode Wolverine Wildcat and Shivering Timbers with my dad it was pretty rough but really fun. So my family goes once or twice a year to Michigan adventure and we didn't have a problem with it the first day we went this year but yesterday was our second day and a female ride operator told my brother he couldn't ride the ride because he was repeating himself. I wouldn't have had a problem if he was swearing but he was just saying a knock knock joke. My brother has autism and echolila were he repeats himself a lot and I understand it gets annoying if your not around it. My younger sister was with my brother when this happened and my brother doesn't understand that the ride female operator was talking to him because to him she was talking to someone else. My younger sister understood her but thought she was joking and it broke my heart when she started crying because she understands that our brother doesn't and even though our brother is super smart he doesn't understand that someone was being mean and rude to him. My brother loves roller coaster and gets all excited about them he stands still in line and just repeats himself and I don't understand why that lady told him, he couldn't ride that ride.

Sun Jianhui

Great experience! Highly recommend Michigan’s Adventure. We went there on July 4th and even on holiday, the longest line is within 10 minutes. We are lucky that all rides were open to public that day and 36-dollar-ticket is a great deal considering it allows entrance for water park as well. I think it is better than cedar point amusement park in Ohio. The fast lane option (which allows your fast entrance to some rides) is overprice. However, you do not need it anyway. I think 6-7 hours may be suitable. Remember to bring swimwear since the water park is so fun!

Allison Fogle

The family had a blast. We used the dining plan and boy was it worth it. We were stuffed. If you only plan for a half a day though I would suggest the dining plan. We also did souvenir cups with refills. More than paid for themselves. Lines were reasonable the park was clean. My sister hurt herself on a water ride and the staff were very professional and helped my sister to the care. We will be back again so says the small children!

Kiro Kanze

Being my first amusement park in 15 years I don't have a lot to judge by, BUT. The water park was a ton of fun. I haven't had that much fun in a wave pool in forever. The slides were super fun, and it was really nice being able to take an actual shower when it was all over. I only went on one big coaster, the Shivering Timbers. My heart was pounding in my throat from the first drop. I screamed, I laughed, I about peed myself. It was a seriously great time. My only gripe about my time here, was the food and drink prices. $5 for a soft drink, $9 for a single slice of mediocre pizza, almost $4 for a regular bottle of Dasani water... That's just taking advantage of people and I really don't like that. Had prices been reasonable, I'd have given the place 5 stars.

Patrick Steward

Real good experience! Cool rides. Just wish all the carts were operating so the lines could move faster. Waterpark was fun. My son enjoyed it. Also the games were fun too. Won lots of prizes. Good days fun and adventure.

Jason Byler

We paid full price for tickets, yet many rides were closed due to cool temps and drizzle (June in Michigan). Rides that were open were fun, but ride attendants were often grumpy. But I'd be grumpy too if I was required to wear shorts on a cool day! No directional signs for where to exit the parking lot.

Sena Hermiz

We've been here twice the last 2 years and have enjoyed it both times. Luckily for us we had good weather both times and were able to enjoy the water park portion. There are plenty of roller coasters to enjoy for all levels. There are also many water slides, our favorite is the funnel of fear where you can have up to 4 people in the raft and spin around in the funnel on the way down. They have lockers at the front and by the water park area which are very convenient. We had lunch at the 50s Diner and they had many options for everyone, their burgers were good and their shakes amazing!

Heather Rhodes

Went with 4 teenage boys and they had a blast! We did the all inclusive ticket and it was worth it. My only personal cons would be, not enough restrooms throughout the park and I did wish they had more shaded areas for us parents who don’t ride rides. All in all we had fun and the pros outweighed the cons. Would definitely return.

Loralei Taggart

Lots of fun as usual! Some of the rollercoasters I remember when I was young and there are new ones as well! Lines were not bad although we did go on a Sunday. The water park was awesome, there were a lot of slides and rides in both parks. You are allowed to go to your car and eat and the prices of the food is a little expensive so bring your own lunch is a good idea. The staff was very friendly and was understanding when my 2 year old and his friend wanted to ride the carousel multiple times.

Leslie Carroll

2 parks for the price of 1. Ran by Cedar Fair. The rides are better for families with younger kids. The waterpark has a little bit of everything for everyone.

Presidential Wefts By E'vonne

I use to go here when I was a child. My mother blessed the twins with a visit for their 4th Birthday n it was great for them to experience and experience I once had when I was a kid. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Be Back Sooon.

Weston Merrick

This place has gone down hill from when I was a kid. It was the last day for the water park to be open. It seemed like half the rides in the park were closed though. They sure charge full price though. No food at concession stands , most of the rides closed. Staff was not friendly and can't answer a question to save their life. Top it all off , I get an iced coffee and they say they don't have lids anymore. I thought it was just that particular area because when i asked why that's how horribly the staff was able to answer my question , she just said they were out. When I went to the concession stand across the way , the young lady told me they don't have lids for any cups anymore because they are trying to save the planet. I had to laugh at that. What a joke. If they are trying to save the planet then why do the expensive plastic cups still have lids ???? If they are trying to save the planet why are they pumping millions of gallons a day of water through the water park. Why are the drinks the same price without a lid. Save the planet=save Michigan's adventure some money. Thats it. This place has really gone down hill. I will be taking my kids to other places next year , meaning and place that's not under the "cedar fair" umbrella.

michael ricco

Took my five year old for the first time. He was amazed. My wife and I hadn't been in over ten years, man it's changed. Great park, very clean. All the rides I remember as a kid and lots of new ones that were a lot of fun for all of us. He could not stop smiling. Best part though, he was worn out by the end of the day.

Frank Christopher

Pretty good park for the location but the water park is grueling and not fun because you have to carry the tubes, large and small, up to the top. The big ones are so huge you need to run them with 2 people. Also the thrill rides are real so slowly, only 1 train at a time. Ugh.

Michele Borna-Stier

So much fun, my niece and nephews had a blast on all of the kiddie rides and water features. Adorable Peanuts themed souvenirs. It's a theme park so things are high prices, but if you get all inclusive packages it's 100% worth it, you get your money's worth and more.

jessica weeks

The water park is pretty good but the roller coasters are old and outdated. They need something newer in that area. It's good for younger kids because the rides aren't overwhelming and there is never too long of a wait. Unfortunately, I've seen the rides break down several times during visits which does raise some red flags.

Wat Dat

The rides are fun, but it's the staff that really make this place shine. Except the black lady at the ticket office in the morning on 8/20. She's extremely rude and nasty and very dull. It took her 5 minutes to calculate the change on a $78 purchase when I paid $80, and she got upset and mean to my family when we asked for 3 tickets, and she only gave us one. I literally held up 3 fingers, and asked for 3 tickets for the 3 of us who were standing in front of her, and she complained at me about only asking for one.

Tamika Cordell

This place is great for families with small children. Its just the right size to enjoy a day at the park. The fact you get 2 parks for the price of 1 is a win win. You can spend all day in the water park but get their early or rent a cabana in order to have comfortable seating and shade.

Chad Ackerman

I was here a lot when I was younger. It has gotten better. Used to be deer Park fun land. 5 stars if they added more coasters. I live near cedar point, and hate the long lines. If Michigan adventure had more rides, it would be a GREAT ALTERNATIVE

Adam

There is a huge difference visiting during the week as opposed to the weekend. It’s like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with respect to ingress and parking. During the week, you can drive right in and get in the park without much trouble. But come the weekend, it’s like parking on the interstate during the apocalypse; you’re better off walking if you’re within 2 miles of this place. I am not exaggerating when I say it took us over two hours to travel the last mile to the park entrance. If you’re coming from metro Detroit on a weekend, go to Cedar Point instead. At least they have the bandwidth to handle the traffic. Just consider a 2.5 hour drive to Michigan Adventure from Detroit ends up being consistently over 3.5 hours with traffic on the weekend. Not so at Cedar Point.

Kristin Miller

I usually really enjoy Michigan's Aventure. But I went this past weekend with 3 friends and we were only there for about an hour, rode 3 rides, and then the power to the entire park went out. We couldn't shop at the gift shop, have lunch, or even play mini golf because they couldn't run any transactions on the registers (even though we had cash). We wandered around for about an hour and a half before giving up and going home. I emailed Michigan's Adventure asking for some sort of a refund and never heard anything back. Very disappointed.

Jessica Cardoni

Best park for families!! All one price for both sides of the park and perfect if your family isn’t die hard roller coaster people. I have two kids 13 and 17 years old and we have been going every summer for the past 4 years and look forward to it every year. It’s the perfect size and the cost is great!!
