This Park corresponds to the category of Park.
I went to play cricket over there on Sunday. The ground is lovely. The field suraunded by little jungle. Early morning or when the place is quite you would see
It looks great in the pictures, but when you get there the place looks rather destroyed and abandoned
Perfect location for family get togethers. Beautiful, clean facilities.
This was my first time riding these trails. Very challenging and muddy today. I'll definitely do it again.
Not so big but ok.
We brought some friends over to the park today and they loved it, they have two boys and they had a blast. It was windy and chilly but we had a great time. I can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit more to visit the new excersise area close to the first shelter.
Such a nice place for a hike or for your kid to play. Everything is very clean. The staff was super helpful.
It has a nice little gym and the playgrounds have a variety of things to do
Beautiful trails and nice pavilion but not worth $5 entry fee to visit more than once. Felt bad that my friends nice enough to come cheer me on at a race had to pay to get in, even though they live in the area and have state recreation pass. All of the trailheads, mountain bike trails, and parks in West Michigan are free or don't require more than the MI rec pass and just as wonderful of trails.
Great place and awesome trails!
A good place for BBQ ..
My husband's family has been having family reunions there for more than fifty years. It is a fantastic place. Lots to do. So much fun. Love coming there every year
Rochester's natural landscape is beautifully preserved at Bloomer Park
Very nice park to walk and see Michigan nature
It was very nice. Very clean
Nice space has 3 playgrounds... Really beautiful
Amazing place! I loved it! Definitely visiting again..
Great Place to Explore the Outdoors
Is a little bit over growing but still got the trails and everything beautiful that Nature's got to offer Great Park in a little town
Best stair climbing around and pretty decent trails that connect to Clinton river.
One of my favorite places in Michigan.
Hidden gem of a park in Rochester Hills. Great trails for running and biking. Several playgrounds and open fields for sports.
Great for MTB, not for beginners, though
Park is kept clean and well cared for, but the mountain bike trail is very frustrating to ride for those who are new to the park. Signage poor and it's incredibly easy to get turned around or take a wrong offshoot. With better signage I would absolutely give this trail a better rating, it was just too frustrating to overlook.
Great place to chill
I enjoy the single track here from time to time. Punchy climbs, great to work on bike handling. Decent place to stop on the way to a place for the experianced mountain biker. Great place for someone new to the sport except connecting the routes can be tricky for it is not a loop, more a net like network of trails and connectors.
We generally visit for soccer practices, but it's a lovely park. Several different playgrounds with decent bathrooms. Parking requires a $35.00 park pass. I believe that is an annual fee.
Always a fun adventure for me and these 2
Loved the greenery of this beautiful park
It has trees
Great park for outdoor activities. Good for walks, cycling and parties. It has one of the best sought after cricket ground. Fees to enter the park, either come in super early or late Sunday evening when no one is monitoring if you just want to take a look at the park.
Nice park, lots of trails and clean. Could use some additional signage further back on the trials.
Awesome hiking trails, moutain bike trails, a bmx racing high banked track (bowl). Multiple play grounds for the kids, bathrooms, ample parking, park charcoal style grills, and amazing scenery with the woods, hills and wild animals.
Briskets and pullpork are awesome
Charge $5 for a daily pass even if you have a yearly Michigan State Park pass.
I puked here while mountain biking. It was good fun
I love this park for hiking and biking in the Rochester area
Love BLOOMER PARK
Captain Fantastic Detroit is rocking the park !! Great band
One of my favorite places in Metro Detroit. Great for biking, hiking, walking, and killing time in the woods along the river. Also a great place to kayak through (although there is no place to put in the river from here).
Beautiful park and very friendly staff!
We had a great time hiking around Bloomer Park with the Scouts!
Love Bloomer, but keep your eyes open there are rattle snakes and they are difficult to see.
Great for day walks and dog walks. Alot of trail. Plenty of mountain bike trail.
Love our Rochester Hills parks!
Have been coming here for many years and am glad to say that China Star Palace's food is always good and consistent. Some places you go once or twice and like it and then the next time, it isn't the same. You'll never run into that here. I love their Almond Boneless Chicken. Great place, great food, and great management.
I usually go on twice monthly hikes at Bloomer Park. The average hike is about five and a half miles. It's nice and hilly, great for your legs. I really enjoy hiking at Bloomer Park.
Beautiful park. From the toboggan hill to the picnic areas this park is a local gem. A nice place to get away for a summer picnic oor in the winter do cross country skiing ot tobogganing. It's right in oor backyard. Well maintained and open pretty much year round found - weather permitting.
It's just a great place for photos! As a photographer, location is a HUGE part of photos! The varying background help SO much, especially with cosplay photography.
Spent a really good time here. The hiking trail was awesome.
Love the park! But $35 for an annual pass is gouging the public in my opinion. Three star for that.
Nice park they do their best to keep it clean but you get some people out there that don't clean up after themselves that really hurts if you go out in nature be kind cleanup
Great park
Perfect place to walk and get a bit og exercise on the equipment!
Peaceful and relaxing. Not too crowded and close to downtown Rochester.
If you like getting outdoors and away from the concrete jungle, than Bloomer park is where you should go! It's a beautiful park for hiking, biking and running trails.
Love coming here and hiking on the trails or playing in the fields. Very spacious.
It’s a really good park and I highly recommend
Great.
It's a great place to bring the dog and the kids but not the best place your better off going to Attica park
Awesome as always. Low crowds, but never empty so you can enjoy nature and quiet or people watch
Awesome park with great mountain bike trails. Trail signs could be a bit better.
Overall a great park: decent bathrooms with actual plumbing, multiple play structures(even a workout one for adults), scenic bmx/jogging trails. The only downer for me is that too many people let their dogs off the leash and wander too far away for my comfort. Normally I like dogs, but when im out running I dislike being confronted/approached by unfamiliar dogs.
Best park in Rochester area. Vast spaces and vast wooded area. You can see a lot of nature here and get a great bike ride too. The bike trails are wonderful offering easy and advanced trails. The park is clean and well maintained, there are plenty of restroom.
The best park Great trails love this place
Fun single-track MTB trails. Regularly groomed and marked with signage.
Best trails I've been on in a while. Will definitely be there again.
Fun trails, and the kids like to watch the bikes on the velodrome!
Excellent Cricket Ground and other activities for family
Beautiful! I went to a grad party there, my daughter in law was wishing she had seen it before she booked her wedding reception. The kids loved it too!
Amazing hiking and biking trails. Breathtaking views and a stone pavilion for parties. I think there are 3 playgrounds throughout the whole park. There is a large sledding hill for winter. Great for pictures too, I've done my homecoming, prom, and engagement photos here.
Awesome place to run or mountain bike. So many great dynamic trails
A massive park with well marked running trails, plenty of green space, outdoor play ground for the kids, a pavilion with restrooms, volleyball net, and parking. Keep in mind the parking is $5 but entry is free (ex. If you bike or walk). Most resident or park passes won't work for free parking here (unfortunately).
Nice bike trail
Beautiful peaceful place. Great for bike rides.
Some of the best hiking trails in this part of Michigan. Beautiful scenery!
Very nice place
Best cricket ground in whole Detroit area. Played many matches there. Ground is huge, lush green and maintained. Apart from cricket, has very big play area for children. You will always find good crowd there.
This is a nice large park for family activities, a couples nature day, friends that want to explore, or some single solo action. There's an Incredible mountain biking trail system at around 7+ miles which loops back into the park, and also has an awesome variety of terrain; 2 track and single track. It's a 3-stage biking trail system for beginners, intermediate, and advanced riders. Also connects to a major trail system independent of the park, which are the Clinton River/ Macomb Orchard, and Paint creek trails that spans many cities and also has many branching trail networks. If you like nature, riding, walking, "hiking"- this is a great place to start. I am an intense trail biker.
Nice hiking trails
I don’t see it s big deal to pay 5 dollars a day to visit but it’s k and children have fun .
Tall stairs to work out on, former location of the Detroit Ski Club ski jump, great Mt. Bike trails.
Rochester has many bicycle trails and parks to enjoy that give you the out of city feel
Nice park walking and biking trails
Great trails for trail running, stair workout, MTB or just leisure walk
Good park
Nice park great trails awesome sledding hill and areas for kids to play!
There are quite a number of connected trails in the parks, which give a lot of options to distances and elevations. Some trails are elevated up and down, and some are quite flat, so you can pick and choose, but there is no sign or markings to tell. The trail markings are quite few and very basic. There were lots of bugs on the trail, so be prepared of repellent.
Great for mountain biking! I would like to see more signage on the trail. It is easy to lose your way.
Awesome, so many trails, the play structures are very good and it's free!
Really nice park that's well taken care of! Lots of open space for games and fun. Mountain bike trails are really fun with normal flat and climb but also some fun, challenging downhill!
This is a great workout park! (My only constructive criticism is that the men's bathroom is in need of attention. The stall doors don't lock properly and the bathroom is usually not the cleanest) I first went here with intentions of running the bike trails but it rained the night before and they were flooded in a few spots. I chose the stairs instead. I have since made this part of my regular routine and walk or run the stairs here three mornings a week. There are a few stairs around the park but I recommend the most popular set located to the left of the stone structure as soon as you enter the park. It's a great workout covering almost 200 steps each way. The stairs are usually clear of debris, are well built, and are well maintained. Tip: you can keep track of your flights by advancing one of the nails through the holes in the boards located near the hand rails the bottom of the stairs. (I bring a colored golf tee for easier recognition)
Quiet and very pleasant people on the trail.
A nice place. Wide open fields. Plenty of play structures. Does have of lot of ill-maintained areas, though.
Park is really nice, trails are a little sloppy this morning, but are always fun
It's a beautiful park with spectacular trails
Tons of great trails, some day I'll learn them all.
My favorite park around. Great for kids and adults. Parking can be tricky depending on other activities going on the day you go.
Great running trails
Trails are maintained well. Love the stairs. There's new trackers for how many sets you've done. My group meets here once a week. There's many options for fitness. Two sets of stairs, lots of trails, and the big sledding hill. The bathrooms are modern and clean.
One of the best bike trails there is. Also, loved the stairs
City takes great care of this park...
Tasty hard wood here
I absolutely love this park
Nice Trails for jogging/biking.
Nice challenging mtb trail. Love Bloomer!
Bloomer Park is nice and clean. Great areas for the kids to play.
Great place to let the kids go wild on the playground and let off some steam. Even after spending about 45 minutes the kids wanted to continue playing. Also saw a family barbecuing near the playground as well, so that would be something we might do the next time we visit.
Great Mt biking trails, some fairly advanced down hill runs then a lot of chill runs but Clinton river. Trails for all riders and good trail running too. The velodrome looks cool too but I haven't tried it
Great park
Totally amazing beautiful park. I've loved this place my whole life.
Took the ride on the Clinton water trail, macomb trail, and part of painted creek trail. Bloomer park mountain bike trails were the best part of the trip. Better then dodge park mountain bike trails although they are closer.
Great location and park for get togethers
Great little gem, the last of the undeveloped woods in Rochester and Rochester Hills. So much for Tree City USA!
Company picnic
Kayaking from Rochester road and Avon to Yates Cider Mill located off Dequindre road and Twenty three mile road is a great time. There are plenty off turns rocky beaches sand walls varying elevations of land and river level. If you happen to take this ride I advise doing so after a heavy rain you will see some swift moving water and minor rapids also be advised to be careful and do not take on this adventure lightly, it can be dangerous so make sure you go with someone let someone know what your plan is and where you will be and roughly what time to expect you. It is an awesome and great way to enjoy a few hours as long as you know what you're doing and stay alert, towards the end of the trip make sure to Portage ( walk your kayak) around the gates dam people have died trying to go over. Hope this was helpful go out and enjoy!
Very nice park.
Beautiful park with many trails for runners and bikers.
Great trails but needs cleanup
Good park.
Thanks for the nice service
Amazing place with multiple outdoor playgrounds and more hidden resting pavilions with restrooms
Kids had a great time on the equipment. We walked here using the clifton river trail that runs behind the park.ots of trails for us to explore the next time we come.
always a tough run. through the leaves
I loved my visit to this park today. I am quite certain that I did not see all of what it had to offer, however, I plan to revisit on a later date. There were several playgrounds for the kids to play in. In addition, there are volleyball and badmitten nets to enjoy. There are also plenty of bike and walking trails to enjoy as well. I visited this park because it was top of many parks that came up in a search to do photography. I took alot of photos on the trails, in addition, I got a great work out as well. If you want to host a picnic at this park, this would be a perfect place. All of the restrooms were open to the public.
One of my favorite places on Earth!
Nice place for family gatherings. Bathrooms need a little work.
Plenty of trails for hiking and biking. Well maintained park. It has a workout section and plenty of play structures too, something for all ages.
Happy to have such a nice park here, with a velodrome!
Very nice park!!
Nice place to celebrate kids birthday
Excellent running trails! They are not paved so it can get a little technical, but absolutely gorgeous and it connects to other trails!
great place to go for a run or a date
If you are a hardcore cricketer this is one of the best ground to play. It’s full ground turf is good. You will sure enjoy playing here.
A great park. I have been coming up to the park for years.
Okay so your reading this reveiw. Now you this is important so listen up (PLEASE READ ALONE FOR THE FULL EXPERIENCE). Along time ago in a rather not small town named rochester, a boy wandered along going about his day. Then something happened the boy stumbled. On what you may ask. Well that's a different story for a different day. Okay so, Ummm where where we. Oh ya I remember this park is very nice, the forest is great for hiking, and there is a large area for children to go off and play while parents sit back and relax in the shade. While those unexpecting parents relaxed a boy, not any boy, the boy. (Yes the one from before) strayed off into the distance. As he wander into the woods. Some thing was moving, it was some kind of majestical creature. Wait, what no, it was just the godly power of Kevin doing the worm. The boy, scared to death, ran as fast as his little legs could take him. The boy ran and ran until another mystical beast ran by and scooped him up. Who could it be, oh just Ryan speeding along on another run. The boy was safly returned to his relaxing parents. The end
Got stuck in such badly backed up traffic, Google thought I was visiting the nearby park. Thank you Dequindre and Avon intersection...
Good for a walk after dinner
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much FUUUUUUUUUUUUUN
Really nice park, great mountain bike trail and running trails. Big playgrounds for the kids, sledding hill, and even a velodrome. Crown jewel of Rochester!
I went to Bloomer (dragged along) with my friends who said we HAD to go mountain biking there. The trails are well marked. This was the first time I've ever been mountain biking but from pictures of trails at other parks this one seems advanced. The map of the trails is easy to follow and you can even get them online which was important for me when I got seperated from the group and I needed to look them up on my phone. The bike trails seemed bare Bones and very skinny which almost killed me a couple times (but that's the thrill am I right?) anyway overall it was alright. probably coming back.
Very nice park. Clean and well kept.
Beautiful park and great trails. We brought our husky with us and he loved walking the trails and along the river. We walked for a good 2 1/2 hours and had to turn back since we had other plans. Still more trails to explore. Had to pay the $5.00 for not being a resident, but I'd do it again.
Amazing paths! Such a great time in nature. Pure Michigan at its finest.
Secluded place for playing cricket or soccer.... also for outdoor families gatherings/events ....
Great place to hangout with family and friends. The grills are new and do a great job. The bike trails are really professional. They have kids playground.
Great park - just wish they had more swings for toddlers
Hard to go through
Went to a wedding here in the 'Stone Building' was very nice and park was well maintained.
Beautiful park, lots of playground equipment and restrooms. Nicely kept and family friendly. Close handicapped parking to the pavilions.
Quiet park due to entrance fee. Clean. Some day camp groups. Nice but tough up down narrow gutted trails for 5k run.
Great walking trails. Has a sled hill and a bike track.
Great trails. I've only accessed Bloomer Park from the Clinton River trail. The trails that connected were amazing to ride around on a bike. It was beautiful and a little hilly so I really want to come back, lock up my bike and take a good walk around the woods.
Very nice place
Close to my home. Good for weekendz.
This is one of the nicest parks in the north suburbs. It is huge with 3 playgrounds trails and a velodrome.
Big play ground. Wonderful bike trials. Has good play stuff for kids. There is bike ring, where in Experts ride bike on a close to 90deg slope wall. Havent got a chance to see it so for. Has deep steps next to the rest room where in it goes in to deep trials. Good for exercise or jog. Feels like going into Jurasic park.
