This park is by far worth the 2hr drive. There is free parking & no admission fees. I just took my three children, aged 4-11. We spent $20 on tickets & we all got to ride plenty of rides. Amazing value & a wonderful time. The earlier start you get the better though, as it gets busy quickly..

Ride are hit and miss on all ages of children, but you can't beat the price. To top that off the lake is right next to it which makes for a beautiful day with plenty of shade. The downfall was the food selection.pack a lunch and make a day of it!

This amusement park is great! Tickets are 25¢ a piece and rides cost 1-4 tickets to ride. There's a wooden rollercoaster, bumper cars, a train, ferris wheel and several kiddie rides. The park is well maintained and there are several picnic areas. You can bring in your own food or buy from the concessions stand. Great place!

An amusement park where admission doesn't cost you an arm and a leg? Only in Green Bay. My 3 year old rode just about every ride here and really enjoyed himself. This amusement park has a family atmosphere and a beautiful backdrop of Lake Michigan. Next door is the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary (highly recommend!), and across the street is mini golf and go carts.

Nothing is like Bay Beach! Absolutely love it it is a must-see for anyone visiting ride prices are great. No admission cost. And if you eat there the food prices are not bad either. A true gem for Green Bay

Another great day at Bay Beach. Fed a family of four lunch for about $20, rode a lot of rides for under $30 and left happy and tired by dinner time. All less than 1 admission to Six Flags! Heck, we got 2 bottles of water and a soda for less than the cost of 1 water at the other place! It's a family kind of place that has a little bit to make everyone happy, from toddlers to roller coaster riders, with a family oriented crowd that tends to be very courteous as well.

Took my 4 year old nephew there for kids day! Was busy but incredibly fun. Pretty fast lines too. Even the food wasn't as expensive as most amusement parks. This park is more geared towards the age of 3 - 16 though which is actually pretty perfect for my family.

This is a Green Bay classic. There are plenty of inexpensive rides for all ages. Also, the pavilion is a very historic structure. The park is located on the bay, hence the name.

It was a very fun experience for our first time. We brought our 2 and a half year old and she had so much fun on the kiddie rides. The wait for her rides was very small if there was one. She had a good time on all of the kiddie rides. I will definitely be coming back to this park!

Very affordable and no parking fee. The only downside, the lines waiting for rides are ridiculously long. We spent 4 plus hrs at Bay Beach and was able to get on 3 rides. Otherwise if you're not there for the rides it's free to get in. Tickets are 25 cents apiece. You'll be waiting in line for 45 mins to an hr waiting to spend those tickets on rides.

Fantastic place to spend a day. Prices are reasonable, rides for all ages. Pavilions and picnic areas are very nice with playgrounds, picnic tables, and grills available. Parking can be difficult in the past couple years with the growth of the park which will earn you a $25 ticket if you find yourself in the wrong place. But the park is great with free entry, just pay for the rides. 25 cents per ticket and most rides are 1-3 tickets. We go several times per year and have been for over 30 years.

This was a great place to stop on our way home. The pricing is great, I haven't seen better pricing than here. Was much better than going to a fair. Didn't have to spend 3x the amount nor get badgered by anyone to play their games. It was a relaxed environment where kids and families can have fun. You can get on their rides quickly I'd assume during their not so busy times. They keep the lines moving and don't short you on the ride time either. Very impressed and wished there were more of these around.

Such a cute little park! Very cheap and ideal for larger families, or parents with smaller children. Admission is free, and you then purchase tickets at a booth by the front entrance. You however do not need to purchase tickets, so if you are just there to watch, it’s entirely free. There is also a large playground that is free to use at the park, with picnic tables and grills, ideal for a gathering. There are plenty of children’s rides, with a few larger thrills thrown in for larger kids. Zippin Pippin is a great coaster, and offers a vintage, historic experience that is very enjoyable. Most of the rides are 2 tickets to ride ($0.50), and Zippin Pippin is 4 tickets to ride ($1). A very cheap and fun way to spend the day! My family is a family of 8, and we only spent $45 dollars (including food) for an entire day. Shade is limited in the queues, so i would recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Overall a very clean, cute and welcoming park that I definitely recommend! Five Stars!

Bay Beach is cheap family fun! It's so nice to be able to come here for as long as we like. No charge for parking, no admission fee! Rides range from 25¢ to $1. There's playgrounds and picnic areas were you can relax and eat a packed lunch. It's like a carnival that lasts all summer. It's a must see for the Green Bay area for sure!

The park was well maintained and so reasonable in the price department. There is no fee to park and the rides all take tickets that were 25 cents each. Yes 25 cents, yea I couldn't believe it either. In the era of giant amusement parks with giant prices, Bay Beach is a throwback. A throwback to the time were common folk could have a good time and not break the bank. You wont break the bank. At least I didnt.

Great place for the whole family. Lots of rides to choose from. There is even a snack bar, area. Stay awhile & enjoy a picnic; even let your kids enjoy the playground equipment. The parking is free, & the ride tickets are cheap. Cheapest place, to bring the whole family for a fun day outside... You don't have to ride the rides... You could just have a picnic, by the playground equipment. And if you have time, do not forget to visit the Sanctuary across the street, from Bay Beach. Seeing both of these places in one day, can make for an extra special family outing

Amazing little green I didn't know about until 2 weeks ago! Playground, picnic tables, plus very cheap concessions. The ordering process was a little chaotic, but seemed to move reasonably quick. And the food was good. The amusement rides were only $0.25 a ticket! Lines were a little long, but that's to be expected. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan!!

Beautiful old amusement park. The rides are all cheap. Is not touristic, but rather authentic. The old roller coaster with which even Elvis rode until his death is highly recommended. There is also a restaurant.

A wonderful experience. Everything is so reasonably priced. Parents with young kids can really have fun there. tickets are $0.25 each with Rides cost in between one to four tickets...most rides aimed at young children are only one to four tickets free parking and no admission feeconcession stand prices aren't unreasonable either plus they allow you to bring in your own food if you so choose. There's a free park nearby as well in case you want to take a break from paid activities.

Family oriented park. This is a clean, safe, well lit, organized, efficiently run park. The rides are exceedingly economical and suited to all age groups. The city of Green Bay, with local business partners and generous donors have steadily improved the park over the years. It is a source of local entertainment and amusement for our people in this area. As well, also, the rides are very safe and well maintained and there are numerous options for very young children. There are also several concession stands that are operated, and an adequarea to have a cookout and just kick back. Playground for the kids is adjacent to cookout area where you can keep an eye on your children. Do everyone a favor and cleanup when your done, as about the only nuisance are the seagulls that live there. Enjoy.

This place is great to take your family! The prices are reasonable (for tickets and concessions) and it is generally not overly crowded! The park has attractions to appeal to a wide age range, from the little boats, to the zippin-pippin! Our family has a tradition where we always have to ride the train and then get an ice cream from concessions! We have even had family reunions here as well! So many memories!!

Perfect for my toddler! Only have to pay (get tickets that are .25 each) for the rides you are going to ride. The most expensive ride is 4 tickets/person = $1. Today my daughter only wanted to ride the ferris wheel & tilt-a-whirl with me (2 tickets per person for each ride = $2 for both of us to ride both of those rides). Free parking. The staff is super!

Nice small amusement park. Only a couple bigger attractions, one roller coaster. The good thing is you just buy tickets and ride what you want. The roller coaster is the most expensive at a dollar a ride. Fun for little kids. My kids are all teenage plus and we spent 2 1/2 hours there and spent $25 on tickets and had a good time.

The rides for the older kids had little kids with parents and those kids behaved better than the parents. The slide was sticky and we were unable to make a great pass. The person in charge of the bumper cars yelled the directions and never looked at the riders, didn't point or even us her body language so the little kids (some she never checked their height) could understand. My review is based on more than 4 times watching the bumper cars. However, best bang for your buck. My 3 boys, ages 12, 12, and 14 enjoyed every minute of it. We will definitely go back over and over.

What is IMPRESSIVE is that the employees actually take the time to check that the kids are the right height to safely ride the rides, even when the lines are extremely long.

We had a fun afternoon... spent $30 for 7 people to enjoy a full afternoon of riding rides @ 25 cents per ticket. The park was well managed and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location on the water was beautiful and each ride had a plaque with a history of the ride. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful and affordable place to enjoy some amusement park rides. Ticket prices are extremely reasonable, no entry fee or parking fee and we found the food very affordable. Also, can picnic or bring own food or drinks in. Our kids have a blast. Park play equipment right there as well to be able to take a break from the rides. All rides look very well maintained and paint intact. Only criticism is giant slide is not fun as you only slide down one section and have to scoot your way down to the next hill.

A lovely small amusement park to go to for a few hours. You can buy inexpensive tickets as you go from ride to ride allowing you not to feel pressured that you have not used your time wisely and cramped in as much as you can in a small amount of time. A great way to spend with friends and family. It is small so you won't have to worry about getting lost in a huge amusement park. No complex maps needed here. There are many rides to choose from including the famous, Zippin' Pippin!

Very disappointed in this place. I went on a Tuesday with my mom and sister, and the roller coaster was not even working. Which is the main reason we even came. For the Zippin Pippin. Neither was the one ride where you sit and go up and fall down (sorry I don’t know it’s name). Also the slides were not working, and those were also what we were looking forward too. Sure if you have a little kid it’s fun with lots of little kid rides, but screaming everywhere, and very very bad food. The lines were really long for a weekday, and it just was not a good time. Except for the swings. Those were fun. If you have kids over 7, I would just skip this to be honest. ):

Their are concession stands , a restaurant and a souvenir shop. Prices are reasonable. You can rent shelters for parties or use the free picnic tables. There are kid and adult rides. This park is accessible.

Great place for kids, families. Like an old-fashioned county fair. Most of the rides are just 50-75 cents worth of tickets, bought in bulk as you enter the park. Two different trains, excellent bumper cars, a ferris wheel, merry-go-round, a bunch of the 'twirly' rides for the preschool crowd, nice views of the Green Bay shoreline [and pelicans], plus plenty of picnic areas for lunch, if you bring your own. They are adding even more rides this summer. Good memories of my own childhood, now shared with my own kids. The wildlife/bird sanctuary is a short walk down the road. Overall a fine place for a fun afternoon without breaking your budget.

I think this park is great for younger children ages 8 and under. It’s cheap and there were hardly any lines. Any lines that we had to stand in, didn’t have a long wait time. It ended up down pouring during our visit and once the storm passed, they promptly opened up all rides. Didn’t experience any rude staff like previous reviews — all the staff I witnessed today helped children off rides without looking like they hated their job and were polite.

Park definitely for the youngsters the preteen kids. Park very clean and economic. Most of the rides are .25 to .50 each. Park is owned and run by the county and they do a pretty good job, the ride operators are well trained and want you to have a good time.

Went with my family when I was a kid and it was a blast. They've spread things out a little more and have added some attractions. My young family and I (kids 4-7 years old) were entertained, lines were short enough to hold their attention, and the food/ rides are incredibly reasonably priced.

What a lovely evening to cool off ! Driving to Bay Beach led us to check out some of the new rides for families to enjoy ! There was a nice light breeze off the bay which easily relaxes anyone out for the night. The new Ferris Wheel was so tall Winter with a 2 seat pod; round copulas to hold more that two to experience a ride together ! Walking next to the water noticed how high it was; no smell, just some logs floating next to bricbrac on shore. Further on, the Carousel looked greatly familiar for the decades I ve lived here and experienced visiting. The Swings, Scrambler, Bumper Cars, Train, Tilt a Whirl and Original Ferris Wheel were fun to see among more original rides. I gathered up my memories, happy to get more walking in, and time to head home for a late supper. There ll be another time to walk and enjoy the scenery; I ll be back.

Best place to be here in summer when the park is open. The cheapest tickets that you could buy for the rides. Kids as well grow ups can both have lot of fun here. The one thing you want to make sure you do not miss is the roller coaster ride. It’s all made of wood you will be terrified that it’s still works and get you safe and sound back after the ride. Many other rides kids will enjoy the train ride and dashing cars the most. Be it a small picnic or just a stroll you want to visit this place for sure.

If you don’t use all of your tickets, you can bring them back and use them for your next trip. Parking is very close and lots of families bbq at the pavilions. Makes for a great day.

In many ways this small local amusement park is superior to the mega-parks. Large areas under trees for family picnics, rides for all ages, snacks and ticket booths easily accessible, easy parking, easy lines for rides - these and more are all great features. It makes for a great experience.

Great family recreation area. Open seasonal but has great rides at a great price. Old dance hall on property and used for special events. Need to check this out.

One of the rare gems left out there where you can get a full days fun for less than $20. This little amusement park offers something for everyone in the family with views of Lake Michigan. I would suggest packing a lunch and making a day of a trip here as there are plenty of park spaces and picnic areas available for use.

What a treasure Green Bay! We will be back. Learning that this is a city owned entity restores my faith in municipalities. What team work you must have to pull this all together. Don't change a thing - unless you add the beach and more attractions - but the throw-back prices, the free parking, the rides, the delicious food, the great customer service - 5 stars all around. Classic staple in the childhood of most of Northeast Wisconsin's residents. The rides are cheap and fun and the food is cheap and great. The most expensive ride is $1 and it's a freaking rollercoaster. They also have rides for as little as "able to sit on their own" for $0.25. It can get pretty packed on summer weekends where the weather is nice, but they handle the crowds pretty well. Works well for anything from a day with the family (short drive or long) to a cheap and different date idea.

Bay beach is a must go to for a large family. The ticket prices are only 25 cents and the only ride that would take 4 tickets is the roller coaster, Zippin Pippin. This place also has many rides for younger kids, so kids of any age have something to do. You can also bring your own lunch to save on costs, but food vendors are available. I highly recommend this place for all people that like carnival rides.

I went to Bay Beach as a child. I took my children to Bay Beach as a parent. Now I get to go with my grandchildren. For 50 years it has been family friendly, clean, affordable fun for the entire family. What a great asset to Wisconsin and beyond.

Great place to visit. On the shore of the bay of Green Bay. Most rides are fifty cents. There are some great amusement park rides like, the scrambler, bumper cars, train rides and a Ferris wheel. Excellent place for an outing with it without kids.

Great little place to relax and have fun. Good for all ages. There are rides for little kids, a rollercoaster for bigger kids, and a playground for everyone. Food is pretty good and rides are cheap. I go every year and its worth it. Great for tourists and for people who live in the area.

Great little amusement park. It is actually pretty large in size. It is not like 6 Flags or Disney but there is a wide variety of rides. 25¢ a ticket. I think the famous rollercoaster that Elvis loved is 4 tickets. Most rides are 1 or 2 tickets. The food is inexpensive plus you can bring your own food in the park. Nice people. There are many benches and picnic tables. Free parking. A new Children's Museum across the way. The little kid rides are mostly in the shade. Many areas have shade. It is not a beach. It is by the water though

We love Bay Beach! Our local fair charged $5 per ride, here the biggest rides cost only $1 and most rides are only 50¢ . Even on the busy day that we were there the lines for rides went pretty quick.

It's good for small kids. There's one nice wooden rollercoaster. An adult can enjoy. Beautifully situated along the lake. The swing ride was down so hope it's back up next time I go.

One of the best things about being in Green Bay during the summer. Tons of great rides for the whole family ranging from 25 cents to a couple of dollars including a new ferris wheel with great views of the bay. When you're done with rides the wildlife sanctuary across the street is also amazing and totally free.

Nice place for the young people. Really on the small side but very family friendly. You buy tickets and pick the rides you like to ride. Don't expect to ride many of the rides if you are over weight or larger than average like me.

Went on kids day and it was a lot of fun for them. While we were there, there were four group fights between teenagers and that put a damper on it. Had to get in front of them to make sure they wouldn't get hit. Not the park's fault. Go during the week and you're golden.

This place is wonderful! Our family of 8 have been on vacation for the last week. We chose to come to the amusement park for our last day as we knew we would be spending all day having fun. The staff was very friendly all around and it was a fairly clean amusement park. Our family spend $40 on tickets and we all got to ride multiple rides multiple times. They even had rides that the 3 year old could ride making the whole trip enjoyable.

Great place to bring the kids. 25 cent tickets for rides. Max tickets for rides was 4 for the zipping pippin roller coaster. Many old rides from your childhood tilt a whirl , scrambler as well as Ferris wheels and merry go rounds. $10 gave my grandson an afternoon of rides.

This park was fun and affordable. Most rides are 1.00 each. HOWEVER. I open carry. Which is legal at this park. I even validated this upon arriving at the park. Yet after 5 hours of being a respectful patron. An employee approached me and my family and said a customer was uncomfortable and asked me to conceal it. (Which is unlawful) you cannot hide an open carried firearm. And you cannot brandish a concealed one. So clean park and inexpensive. But dont be surprised if your constitutional rights are violated when your trying to enjoy your freedoms.
