Shhh, keep this place a secret. It's beautiful and it's open year round. Cabins are the best. Try to get cabin #4, it's bigger and has electricity.

Jamie Dolan

Just had my 3rd visit there....each time very relaxing. Clean and well maintained. Nice mix of openness and tree coverage for car camping. Never has there been a problem with excessive noise from the neighbors. Best part are the attendants....they are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Pretty good combo.

Love this campground and this whole area! Near the Appalachian Trail, near Vermont, in the Berkshires, what more do you need????

Rob Smith

Great waterfalls. Worth the time!

Christian Scott

Campground isn't Woodsy, it's an apple orchard.

Beautiful area of Massachusetts forest. Camp grounds are well maintained, but some roads are poorly kept and will be a big challenge for smaller cars. Straying off the beaten pay can be rewarding here if one wishes for some nice wildlife sighting, but be careful not to get lost. ATVs are outlawed and many of the trails starting to be taken back, but more high traffic areas of the park are still very family friendly!

We have only stayed in the cabins, 1 with electricity, the one pictured are without. There is a fire pit at each out the cabins and a fireplace inside to keep warm. We enjoy the winter months up here, have yet to camp during the summer. Lots of great trails to hike, the ponds to explore and the surrounding areas if you are in this neck of the woods

What a beautiful place! A little strict on the rules, maybe, but very quiet and relaxing as a result. They have firewood available on-site for a semi-reasonable price.

This campground is off the beaten path and quiet. It's a state campground, so the "amenities" are limited (no playground, store, etc.) That being said we had a GREAT stay while we were here... the kids spent literally HOURS at the South Pond catching tadpoles and just enjoying wildlife. We did the South Pond Loop hike and also hiked down to Tannery Falls (which is a drive off of the campground). The swimming at North Pond is very nice. Great place to bring the dogs, the kids and get away. No electricity, no cell signal. Some of the sites were a bit small but fine for tents and pop ups. Nice place

Savoy is a really wonderful experience. With a Massachusetts license plate, you can spend a night for $17 in a tent! In addition, they have stacks of wood available for an additional $5. My evening was spent on a 6 mile hike to Tannery Falls and some time swimming in North Pond. South and Bog pond are not as easily recommended for swimming as the water is quite still and algae-filled.

Great place to fish/camp/swim/relax.

Nothing! This place is absolutely ridiculous! I booked a 4 day 3 night stay here with my best friend, boyfriend and 13 year old daughter. While we were sitting around a fire talking at about 4:30 p.m they came and told us we were being too loud and needed to quiet down! Mind you quiet time isn't until 10 p.m. We had 2 friends come over around 6 p.m for a cook out. At 6:30 p.m. they again came and told us we were being too loud and if they had to come back we would be kicked out! I said to them it's not quiet time why are you bothering us? They said we were being excessively loud and it was common courtesy. We decided to pack up while it was still light out and high tail it out of there before we were kicked out and forced to pack up in the dark. DO NOT CAMP HERE! YOU ARE NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO TALK FOR FEAR OF BEING KICKED OUT! THIS PLACE RUINED OUR FAMILY VACATION!

Wonderful campground in The Berkshires. The rangers were very friendly and they are willing to answer any questions about the area and things to do. The campsites and bathhouses are both very well maintained. The lakes are also very nice. Although we could only catch very small fish. Its nice when you camp here. I fell like you're on top of a mountain with no contact to the outside world. The closest town is 15min away.

Ed Tatton

The trails were very clean and they were wide enough for vehicles. Some are snowmobile trails, and hikers frequent the more rocky than wet terrain. The park rangers are lovely, and super helpful and there is a campground on site. If you are visiting the Berkshires and looking for a good hiking spot, Savoy could be a great getaway for the day!

Decent trails, although markings are a little scare. Got lost on a few trails because of no signs on trails.

I have camped here numerous times during the warm months and have always enjoyed it. Bathrooms and other facilities are always clean and well kept. I have stayed in the cabins during the winter months for 5 years now and absolutely love them. The outhouse is clean and well maintained and the staff keeps the road well plowed for easy access. I have had numerous discussions with the staff over the years and have found them to be very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a nice camping trip.

I have no experience with their cabins, but there camping is good . There a nice bike loop and a pretty water area, and there is a great waterfall near by the campground, a long with a splendid bike ride that has a ice cream stop. Unfortunately, the water has some leaches here and there, so you've ought to be careful. Sometimes the campgrounds can have mud, and last year are car got stuck in the mud for quite a bit. The bathrooms could use some work too.

Beautiful in the fall, Busby trail is great

This is a great camp ground. Sites are nice size, the rangers are very friendly people, and there is a swimming lake close by. One of the best things is that there is little to no cell service here. It really allows you to get away. The hiking trails are fun and marked okay. The area by the waterfall is very beautiful. Can't wait to visit again.
