Me and my two children went on a Sunday afternoon for some family fun. We bowled for an hour and had a great time. I am not a professional bowler but I would not expect to see many playing there. Some of the lanes are warped and a lot of the balls have chips out of them. This is not a complaint its honest feedback. I thought the conditions were completely fine for family fun at the rate they charge. There is also a small arcade inside the center. Beer wine and snacks are available. My favorite part, the Patriots game was on all three big screens across the lanes. We will definitely go back again.

OMG....I finally was able to try my hand at Candle Pin bowling. It is not as easy as it looks but it is fun to do. I would have loved to bowl more than one game but I felt the price was a bit spendy. I know for a fact though, when I come back out to visit my daughter, we will make another stop in.

I went bowling at Ryan Family Amusements and got to watch the baseball game while I waited my turn! They also have a complete arcade behind the bowling alley and many prizes to win!

Good family friendly bowling alley; nice arcade to go along with the bowling. Automatic scoring works well, bumpers provided for little ones.

Not a great experience. Automatic scoring wouldn't work and it cost an arm and a leg to bring five kids and two adults...one of whom didn't even bowl. Crowded and loud.

Candle pin bowling and arcade - can it get any better? Good prices, great fun. Dated but clean facilities. Games are all new, well maintained & staff is friendly and helpful. Great for affordable, fun b'day parties too, but bring your own water and any other snacks - both are limited & in vending machines.

Had a good time candlepin bowling and playing arcade games here on a recent Saturday afternoon. There was a kid's birthday party going on in one of the party rooms at the time, but otherwise it wasn't too busy there.

We went on a sunday, right after breakfast at budabing's , this was our first time at this alley, and won't be our last. The place is very clean, one of the cleanest candlepin alleys i've seen . the arcade games where a nice halftime show for my kids and than back to bowling. very pleased, keep up the good work.

We had the best time at Ryan Family Amusement on Christmas Eve day. We had a great room, the staff was organized, and was willing to be helpful whenever possible!! They were accommodate our family holiday party and everyone in our family had fun!!

Thought it was the usual bowling, they had candlepin bowling ( candle shaped pins, instead of big bowling ball you’d hit the candles with rather small ball) and small selection of arcade!

The place is clean. The employees were nice. The pins got stuck in the reset and the employees fixed it very quickly, like we were their first priority.

It's a good place if you like bowling and arcades. It's not so good if you are susceptible to sensory overload (e.g. noise and flashing lights). The alleys are modern and clean. The cost is fifty cents a minute per lane plus shoe rental if needed. The arcade has several games the kids seem to like. Most of the arcade games cost a dollar. Pay and collect prize tickets on a pre purchased card.

Nice family place to go candlepin bowling. Went with my In-laws who never bowled before and they absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back. Went for a Anniversary party and it was a lot of fun. everyone enjoyed themselves there. Only Complaint is I had to get the guys 3 times in a period of 3 hours because it would get stuck clearing the pins. but it took maybe 2-3 minutes.

Candle pin bowling and a solid arcade. Uses cards to track arcade payout and has a good prize selection. My 2 sons and I have been patrons for years. Solid birthday party packages and a nice kid friendly environment make for a winner.

While it's fun for the kids, the bowling lanes do have issues where all balls veer to the left. Check Groupon for good deals on this place though.

Great staff and service. Not happy that they migrated from tokens to a swiping card. Arcade more than tourist attractions. Kids didnt get concept wasted 20 bucks swiping card not realizing ramifications

Great time with 5 Adults!! Fun bowling and great game room which is more for the kiddos, but we still had a blast playing skee-ball and sitting on a virtual ride, very cool! We were all pleasantly surprised! This is a must for anyone who has kids for birthday parties!!

As a big and longtime fan of the downtown Newport, RI location, I was looking for something similar, but this location was more about candlepin bowling (which is fine) rather than games and related experiences. Good games were represented--including a really strong racing simulation--and a good selection of prizes. My 14-year-old son enjoyed, although he was disappointed that we didn't get to bowl. Nice place in an area without much similar nearby.

Arrived on Friday for unlimited bowling, but all the lanes were in use by leagues. So they let me join in on the leagues as a substitute, free of charge (though it's normally about $10)! Everyone was super friendly. Great family friendly place. They also have an arcade area and clean restrooms.

Good cheap place to have a kid's birthday party, but the place is old, the arcade games frequently don't function properly, the staff is annoyed to have to help, and with the thousands of tickets you won by playing games for hours, you might have enough saved up to get a small piece of candy.

, I visited this place twice in my life once with my wife once with my son in my life the atmosphere is lousy it's overrated to place to have a couple of drinks and pick up a couple of bowling balls the video games are rigged more than a casino the coffee machine is never cleaned I want to have a pay a dollar for the apple cider and I got apple cider and coffee the bathroom was horribly disgusting in the machines rip the cut rip you off or I should say woman owns the machines and programs machines their rig to rip you off because you put $20 on the card you use three machines and your money is gone and there was a malfunction in one of the machines and I went to the person at the desk and he stated to me all that's just the way the machine is in my son hit the jackpot on it now tell me does that sound right for a little kid are u sitting me get out of here

Went for Sunday morning bowling with 2 little kids. It's the best deal on Sunday mornings with kids... seriously. Allowing 4 year olds to be wild and do their thing was a plus. They bowled for the first time (staff provided a ramp and put the bumpers up for them). The arcade games were fun. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I will absolutely be returning for Sunday mornings.
