Always loved Red Rock Park. I moved out of Lynn a few years ago but visited the other day and got these gorgeous sunset photos. Free concerts and fireworks in the summer. A great place to walk the dog or just sit on a bench and relax. Beautiful views of Boston, Nahant, Swampscott and Lynn, as well as the ocean.

This is a beautiful place in Lynn Beach right near the Swampscott border!! We go there Thursday nights to listen to the free concerts from 6 to 8.. bring your chair, hang out have a good time they even have porta potties.. beautiful scenery and ocean.. beautiful music..

Lynn tends to be overlooked by the bright lights of Boston or the more upscale vibe of nearby Swampscott and Marblehead. Well, Red Rock Park is one of the jewels of Boston’s North Shore. Stunning ocean vistas, walking/jogging/bike paths, miles of beach at low tide, city skyline views, bird watching . . . Just some of the opportunities here. The surrounding beaches are dog friendly despite signs. Plenty of benches to stop and take a break. My favorite thing about Red Rock is when storms pass by the waves are intoxicating to watch crash over the sea wall.

Beautiful park. Personal and small. My pictures reflect the beach off to the side. But the point with trees shown in picture is the park. Easier to park a little farther down the street but not a far walk.

Beautiful setting for a relaxing day. We arrived while the tide was still high though so there wasn't much in the way of beach at first but after an hour or so there was more room. Seems common sense but we didn't even think about it honestly. Just something to keep in mind.

Nice elevated water front area in Lynn. Very comfortable on a Saturday afternoon as the tide comes in. Very peaceful and relaxing. Nothing outstanding but pretty. Not very big.

It's very beautiful while sunrise, sunset and during the day. This my little collection of pictures over the past couple years of the Red Rock Park, hope you enjoy it. By the way, for people that don't know, during summer season DCR(Department of Conservation & Recreation) every Thuraday they do a movie night(FREE), most of the time it's an old movie -- its such a great get together with the the the family, friends, and even for couples. I also know that at some point in the summer time there's few concerts(FREE). If you are around definitely check this place out.

Was a wonderful find and a great place to spend on my day off. The views are great, you see the oceanfront and water. It's a great feel, both myself and wife have returned many times. Also there is shopping and restaurants nearby & plenty of free parking, that's a plus

This beach was crowded and smelled like sulfur, the water was dirty and filled with seaweed. If you looking to sit in black sand and enjoy the smell of diareah while relaxing at the beach. This is the beach for you!

Nice place to walk about or sit and view the ocean looking out towards Egg Rock. Trees in the grassy expanse make for shade in this slight hill at its center. No charges even to park along roadway. We found it uncrowded on a weekday, but one can expect many more folks finding this pleasant spot when weekend rolls around.

It is a big open area where you will find people walking, biking, on the grass with kids or pets & people fishing. It's a great place to just sit, listen to the sounds of the ocean & relax. You can close your eyes, listen to mother nature & feel any stress you may have leave you & float away. And, to top it off, there are free concerts in the Summer. A great place right on the outskirts of the city.

I remember coming here years ago. It was 1954 and Hurricane Carol. The ride came so high near the point that it was breaking up the seawall. Today was beautiful and their were many walkers, runners and strollers.

I happen to love Red Rock Park. It is just a tiny little triangle jutting out into the Atlantic, but it is a neighborhood jewel. There is just enough lawn for a local crowd to come watch fireworks or for the summer concerts. A handful of wind-shaped trees shaded the path around it, and there are old fashioned wooden benches from which to watch Swampscott or, south, the sunset gilding Boston. My neighbors and walk around the park, then along the beachwalk, or down to the beach itself. On calm evenings, there are always a few guys fishing. It is small, more a common than a park, and pretty much loved by the neighborhood.

Despite being small this park is lovely. It is very clean and organized. If you want to fill your lungs with fresh air and plenty of iodine this is the right place to visit. There is a view to Boston downtown too. You can also observe Nahant and Swampscott from this location. Seeing lots of people with family and kids and dogs leaves feeling that this place is very safe.

It’s an okay place to walk your dog, but not your kids..some areas smell like human pee and I wouldn’t want my kids to be around such places. Great during the day and over the summer has movies and live music to offer. Not as safe at night, but, hey, a good thing that police is on the watch...so..okay, let’s call it safe. I go there often, but it’s not the best park I’ve ever seen. Convenient location, ocean breeze and nice people make this place a good one.

It has a nice walk trail along the beach, with an awesome view of an island in the distance. I drive by it everyday before work. I could go the quickest route to my job, which is through the city, but I love driving by this beach/park.

Old School Lynn vibes across the street from this nice little green spot with plenty of trees and such for shade. There is a walking path that will take you up or down the coast (Swampscott north, Lynn Beach & Nahant to the south) Lay out a blanket and relax with a sea breeze and some food.
