Had my sons birthday party here and it was just okay. It was extremely chaotic and I probably wouldn’t have another party there for that reason. Our hostess was pretty good. Our server was eating every time I saw her. It was pretty dysfunctional especially laser tag. I bought the ultimate party package which includes “party space” which is not a party room. It’s just the tables and chairs in front of the bowling lanes which was not enough space at all. That part should’ve been made clear that we were not getting an actual room otherwise I would’ve upgraded.

This is a great place for kids and adults to bowl and play games. We went with a group and they ended up giving us a lane and a game of laser tag for free, and were generally very accommodating and helpful, exceptional customer service. Parking at the Columbia Mall can be a pain depending on when you go, but it's not a big deal if you're okay with walking. Close to tons of dinner options and shopping. Great atmosphere - energetic without being out of control and nicely divided so that you don't feel like you're in the middle of other groups.

Made a bowling reservation for a Saturday evening and showed up 15-min early as directed. Then stood in line for 30-min with only 1 person working slow-as-molasses to get people checked-out. Meanwhile, between 3 and 5 employees are standing around socializing with their friends that came to visit them at work. Managers were running around but doing nothing to speed up the line or even acknowledge those waiting patiently in line for 30-min. I finally reach the front only to learn that reservations check- in via a different line, but there are no signs anywhere or information included in the reservation that would tell someone they don't need to wait in the only visible queuing line for 30-min. Finally got checked-in by a manager in the secret line and he offered no sympathy or apologies for our wasted 30-min. He just shrugged it off and made me choose between a too-small or too-big bowling shoe because they were out of size 13's. I was pretty peeved at this point and would've taken a complete refund if they offered one, but choose to go on with the planned night of bowling. The only positive to say about my experience is that the bowling alley was well-maintained and in great shape. Drink service while bowling was really slow. It was a full hour after we walked in the door before we got drinks. When we were done bowling, the alley waiter was MIA so we just left cash for the bill instead of waiting all night for him to show up and run a card. Bottom-line: this is a nice place to go bowling but the abysmal customer service drags it all the way down to a 1-star.

I've been here twice now with a large work group of over 40ppl and another group of 20 people and each time we had a blast! We got the package with bowling and last tag, food and arcade. Our hosts each time were very helpful and accommodating. Our last hostess Angel was very patient as well. I'll definitely be back again!

Better than most places with games. You can bowl and play various games like Pac-Man, Temple Run, Mario Kart, and many more. Would love to go there again and recommend it.

WELL it was VERY crowded. Obviously business is doing exceptional. However, as a 1st time patron I needed a little more guidance and there was simply noone available to assist. Glad they're doing great but have more staff on the floor during your busiest times. IJS......help!

Hindsight is twenty twenty. The girl at the front desk told me that my friend paid for me already. I said I know but a third person came - I'm him and I want to play pool too. So I'll take the $24 dollar ticket. She said something something that I can't remember because they have three different prices. This was my first time there and my experience with the cashier was awkward but we finally settled on the $20 ticket. I didn't do anything other than play pool, drank a beer, ate some wings n things. So I finally get back home, vape my grass and thought about how I went out of my way to pay for this yellow bracelet when I should have just stayed at the table and joined the already in progress pool game. We paid Main Event $60 to play pool for an hour and a half.

Me and my friends always have a good time at main event! The food is great and the games are so much fun! The only downside is that, because it's a seat yourself place it's sometimes hard to get service unless you ask/have a good waitress and there aren't any napkins at the table unless you ask for them but overrall this is a great place! Not too small and not too big like D&B and the lighting is better. Great place!

Been here twice, both times had the same experience, although the most recent trip last night was the worst. Took 40 minutes to get water to the bowling lane. Took 55 minutes to get alcoholic drinks to the table. We inquired about our drink status multiple times from multiple servers, all of them promising to "look into it", with no avail. The drinks came 5 minutes before our time expired, and we had already asked them just to cancel the drinks 15 minutes prior to that. When asked why they didn't, the server wasn't told the information from her counterpart. Obviously zero inter-employee communication. We also asked to speak with a manager 25 minutes into our 55 minute alcohol wait time, and we never got to speak to one. We won't be returning here and will inform our friends of our experience for sure. Nobody should have to go through this when trying to have a nice night out with friends.

Went for the first time yesterday I enjoyed it the guys in the front and that set up our game of bowling were very helpful. The only problem was the lady that served us she never came to check on us i has to go find her to order our drinks. The $7 deal is cool hoping to come back to try the laser tag. The food and drinks were very good.

I like this place. We came out for a family outing. They had a $20 deal but it confused me a little because it said it included bowling, laser tag, and game play but it didn't say it did not include the arcade games. So we bought arcade cards but my problem was that the arcade games are a little high and you only get 1 round. I can't speak on the food because I didnt eat.

It's like a Dave & Buster's with extras. The usual arcade games along with laser tag, bowling, billiards, and more. There for my twin nephews birthday party, my kids had a good time. Can get pricey so plan to stay a while and get your money's worth! Food was good.

Would not recommend this place at all. Me and my family had the worst 2 hour bowling session ever it took 30 minutes for our food to come all the employees have an attitude if you ask them for a plate or napkins. I ordered pizza and one of the employees said they would give me a plate 20 minutes later i see her looking at our table and then she turns around and does not even give us our plate! Again this has the worst customer service ever would never go back

We are gamers in my family and this place is one of the best. The prices aren't bad, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the games were much much MUCH better spaced out than some other places. The prizes were a bit better too, especially in the claw games. I loved how it more suited to every age and not just teens and adults. My 4 year old loves playing all the game with balls. Good place for families!

I came here to celebrate my (adult) friend's birthday with the intention of some bowling and arcade games, which seemed like a simple enough plan. We arrived, stood in line for probably 10 minutes, then paid for a bowling lane and shoes for 4 people. We were told we'd get a lane at 7:30 (2.5 hours later). We said fine, and attempted to go grab food in the restaurant section - after standing by the hostess stand for 10 minutes (sign said wait to be seated) with no acknowledgment, we left and ate dinner elsewhere. Came back with 50 minutes to kill before bowling. Thought we'd play shuffleboard, so waited in another 15 minute line at the front counter, only to be told we'd need to pay for shuffleboard at the bar. Waited 5 minutes or so at the bar to pay for shuffleboard, then played for 30 minutes til it was 7:30 - time to bowl! Waited in line at the bowling counter, only to be told they had overbooked the bowling with online reservations, and our lane would not be ready for 2 more hours. At that point we cut our losses, got a refund for bowling, played some arcade games for half an hour, and left. Takeaways: - You sell bowling in 1 hour increments. It should not be difficult to know how many lanes you have and schedule them in an organized manner. If you have a policy that same-day online registrations bump in-person registrations, then a) that's foolish, and b) tell people that when they try to register in person. We would have gladly gone on our phones and booked online if we had known. Bowling alleys have managed this reasonably for decades - do whatever it is that ALL OF THEM are doing. - If you had someone designated as the billiards/shuffleboard staff that could be in that area and accept payments on a tablet or something, you'd probably make more money because people wouldn't have to wait in endless lines. They could also nicely remind kids not to use the bridge as a pool cue, wildly flail around, etc. With what we saw in 30 minutes of shuffleboard, I'd be shocked if y'all don't have to replace the felt on those tables practically once a month. - In general, we saw tons of staff, but it was so disorganized nothing got accomplished. Waiting 3+ hours to achieve 1 hour of shuffleboard and arcade games, with no food and no bowling is ridiculous, and if that's really a standard occurrence, I'd recommend people go pretty much anywhere else.

It's the new place in town. It was packed. The promo they have is good if no one is there. The all you can game card only works with certain arcades. Same goes with all you can bowl and laser tag. You have limits as to how many rounds you can do back to back.

Overall had a good time far as the food, bowling, arcade, and laser tag. My only complaint is after waiting 3.5 hours for a bowling lane, we received a text saying it was ready. We walked immediately to the desk in under one minute only to be told the lane was given away and we would have to wait another 15 mins which actually turned into 30 mins. I also didn't like that we could only have the lane for one hour. Other than that we had a great time and might possibly return..

This place is so cool! I was there on a Wednesday afternoon and it was dead so we kind of had the run of the place but everyone seemed friendly and they were refelting one of the pool tables which was nice to see they are keeping up the place. We were going to play skeeball but I think you need a card or something to play games. I didn't take the time to figure it out but will next time. I'm super excited to go back when I have more time!

Nice arrangement of games and activities however very poor service. It took a half hour to get a ridiculously weak drink at the bar. I guess it makes sense not to be alcohol centered but I couldn't help but laugh at how staff was so inefficient.

Forget anyone answering the main line when pressing #5 on a Sunday. Have now tried calling at least 5 times with no luck. Either they are super busy or just don't care? My work had an event at least 6 months ago and we were extremely disappointed.

I was here today a group but we all paid seperate it was grandson birthday. We ask to be together. His mother and father is not together but co-parent very well. We told the cashiers what want he said okay. But yet he half on one end of place the other totally on the other side. I. Remind him of what he said he totally denied. Since I did pay I left. Personally I would ask for a refund if I had. I will never go there again or refer any one there. But will talk about the bad service..

Food, games, bowling, and best was definitely the laser tag. Went on a week night and got the arena to ourselves (my wife and i). We had a blast I would definitely suggest it. The food was good, games and events seemed reasonably priced. Tried Dave and Buster's and alike places nearby and they're God awful. If you're looking for that kind of experience go here.

We went here this past Monday for our wedding reception because it seems like a good place for people to have fun and not have to make small talks to people they don't know. The overall experience was mediocre. In short: the employees pretty much know the place would sell itself because of the games so the customer service was mediocre. We would've gone to Dave and Buster's if I could turn back time. If you want to come here, we would NOT RECOMMEND getting the party packages, the food is premade. The food we ordered while bowling came out much better. In detail: We bought one of the group packages deals: First of all, I made multiple visits to the place to book it, iron out the details of the party, and trying to see if they can make accommodations for my vegetarian guests dietary restrictions. When I first went, I was told that they can make accommodations and I was very excited. Then when we try to get more details on the kind of accommodations I was told that the kitchen is unable to make food as in everything comes premade and precooked. If the items are premade, then the comment of being able to accommodate should never be made since the kitchen isn't fully adaptable. I would've been fine if I was told up front about that before I had already put down the deposit. When I went back to iron out the final details for the event with the sales rep, it just seemed like she did not have time for me because her friend was there to visit. So after she had told me she will email me the final details, I left, so that I'm not intruding on her time. The food served with the package we eventually picked was the Italian choice where I had emailed to have the spinach ricotta ravioli to be made without sauce since the kitchen could NOT make different sauce. On Monday, the meatballs were cold in the middle and the ravioli was in the sauce that my guests cannot have. I had to find other food options in the mall to feed our guests. Then we had 4 hours of unlimited games which our guests enjoyed. Our guests who played laser tag told us that the lady at the laser tag made them feel like they were causing her SUCH INCONVENIENCE whenever they go play laser tag so they didn't play as many games as they had wanted. The service provided by the employees were, again, mediocre. The ONLY employee there showed great service was the bartender. She was personable and friendly and provided great service!!! Great job on her part!! In summary: we might go back because the bartender was very good and the games were fun but not because of the customer service.

Went with a small group our first time. The games were fun and bowling was great but service at the lanes and at the bar was god awful. Waited 45 minuets for drinks at the lanes. Eventually we went to the bar only to find that the service was even worse. At an empty bar the bartenders were far to busy talking to guests and amongst themselves to greet up or clear off dishes from prior guests. We decided to give it another shot this weekend (we figured that it was no longer a new establishment and maybe they would be more organized) we thought wrong. We went in with a group of 10, 2 people were served and the rest ignored. After about a half hour of no service we decided to leave. Will not be returning. Do yourself a favor and go to Dave n Busters instead.

Lazer tag earns it a 5 star, just make sure you go when it's busy so you have a crowd to play with. The rest of the arcade is pretty enjoyable, though it's a money pit. There is a great restaurant and a bar area, and a dozen pool tables, which would also make this a 5-star over the competition (though the arcade games are the same and the flashing lights and sounds are all super annoying). Prizes leave a lot to be desired, but at least there are low-cost candy options.

This was my first time going and I loved the atmosphere, food and games. However, I'm not sure if it was just the server we had or what, but the serving part I was not impressed at all. Now will I go again, yes. I just have to prepare myself for whatever if I wanna order anything or maybe that part will be better the next time.

My meal was bad.The pizza tasted terrible, I was very disappointed, the pizza just had barely any sauce and no flavor to it.The drinks were good but the soda fountain wasn’t filled up so when I had got an Mountain Dew it was clear so I had to get Pepsi I would give them 0 stars if I could but the service was good so that’s why it’s 1 star.I hope y’all add more sauce to the pizza in the future and more cheese

Took my son and three of his friends for a night of bowling, arcade and laser tag. While the bowling was cool, one of the lanes broke and we spent half the time waiting for it to reset, and they kept promising techs would come work on it. And, it took ONE HOUR, TWENTY FIVE MINUTES for us to get our drinks with our pizza order. This was after asking eight different servers to check on our order, all who assured us they'd get right on it. Some staff members took pride in their jobs; most couldn't have cared less and were going through the motions. A big police presence was there too, which lets you know all you need to about the atmosphere -- though we never really felt unsafe. We tried it once ... and will not be going back. Also -- expensive as hell. I'll go back to Players in Westminster ...

This place is fun!! As a 90s kid, the arcade gave me nostalgia from how arcades were back then. They have Kid qnd Adult friendly games. The staff were great and took care of us. I really loved the bowling alley and laser tag. I recommend everyone to go here just for a couple hours of fun!

There was a surprising amount of things to do here. An arcade, billiards, laser tag, a bowling alley, a bar, and more. It manages to be an area for both children and adults successfully. The bar is separate from the gaming section so parents wouldn't have much to worry about their children getting caught in compromising situations and the staff was active and attentive. I plan on returning many more times in the future! It's a great date night destination!

Close second to Dave n Buster's but they close at 10pm and shut off all lights and machines every night at 9:53 so make sure not to start a game near this time or try to count your coins because you will lose everything when the power goes off. They never give a heads up before they turn everything off either.

I went on a Monday night. They have a $10.95 unlimited activities or games deal and since it was a Monday they weren't busy. I got the unlimited activities which included laser tag, bowling, and the ropes course but this location unfortunately doesn't have the ropes course. There was no wait for bowling and barely a wait for laser tag. We also played pool which I think is free but don't take my word on that one lol. All was good and every staff member I encountered that day were nice.

We weren't sure if we got seated or seated ourselves. Bartender told is to sit ourselves and all empty tables were dirty or had a reserved sign. One of the tables had cleaning product on it so I had to clean my own table. After sitting there for 10 minutes, a server came and said we were not allowed to sit there and they ran out of reserved signs. When we got to another table and ordered our food, it took over 30 minutes to get the food. They have this table touchpad that charges you automatically if you look at the games. I didn't bother disputing the 2 dollar charge but be careful on messing around with it. We paid and waited 10 minutes for the server to come because we were waiting on the play cards. I had to remind the server about the cards otherwise we never would have gotten them. Food was cold and didn't taste very good. Nothing positive about the experience.

We recently had a birthday party here and the experience was very pleasant. Our party was for 10am and we arrived by 9:55a. We were greeted by the greeter and our hostess and promptly taken to our table. The place was empty since it wasn't open to the public yet and I highly recommend mornings, since the place became very busy by opening at 11am. Food was quickly served and the party was able to partake in the arcade/games before 2 rounds of laser tag. Everything was well-timed and organized with enough time to cut a cake and our hostess was very attentive.

Very similar to Dave and Buster's. The community around this location offer a lot to do. Plenty of police in the area for the amount of people patronizing the establishment. Would go again. Food was average. Cocktails we're good.

Cool place for a fun date night for any age and great for kids. It's a mini Dave and buster's. Had a corporate event here, pretty cool. The staff at the bar however need to spread around and address your customers better. It took 10 min for someone to approach me about ordering a drink and they had some of the garnishments for my drink and still charged me full price. Smh. Do better. Besides that Friday night gaming specials are great if you have a squad if kids with you very cost effective. The bar area needs major major work.

I held my son’s birthday party here today from 10:30-12:30 and while he had a good time with his friends, it seemed disjointed and disorganized. When we signed the party contract, we had arranged for two rounds of laser tag and 30 minutes of game playing, along with pizza. When we arrived, our party host told us that the pizza was coming out first (at 10:30), then sometime after, we’d have laser tag. The pizza arrived around 11, and we had to entertain the kids until the pizza arrived, not using the included $20 game cards, but with our own previously-purchased cards. It was awkward, wrangling 8 boys while waiting for pizza/laser tag, especially when we had to pay additional out of pocket expenses. Some of the parents bought their own game debit cards (well played, Main Event) and were using them to help keep the kids busy while we waited. I felt like we owed them an apology—attending a birthday party for a kid shouldn’t cost anything. Our host seemed baffled by the entire party process, saying that getting ice cream for the kids would take “a while” and rearranging the schedule multiple times. She did seem genuinely interested in making sure that we were happy, though, and was attentive. My son and his friends loved the laser tag and had a lot of fun. That said, the disorganization and additional awkward expenses really took away from what could have been a wonderful experience. We would consider having another party here if we could be assured that it would be more organized.

So much fun.. My kids loved all the games they played. I loved the 3D animation journey omg. My heart was racing. Price is fair for the fun, before you know it you may run out of amount you planned to use originally on the game cards. It so much fun you keep going back to load your game card. Worst the kids will beg and push you its hard to say no.

Service at the bowling lanes was excellent, but the bar was another story. The place wasn't busy and the were appropriately staffed. However, nothing got done quickly. Drinks were slow and the food was even slower. It took 45 minutes to get a salad. A salad. I could understand if they were busy, but they weren't. There were empty chairs everywhere. I'm seriously unimpressed.

If I could this place 0 stars I would! Yesterday was my first time here for my son birthday and it was by far the WORST experience I've ever had! For starters they advertise the $20 deal for unlimited laser tag and bowling, but don't explain to you that the shoes aren't included! The restaurant was EXTREMELY HORRIBLE! (The restaurant was NOT crowded at all. 4 tables total. Including mine) We set for 30 minutes before a waiter even came to acknowledge our table. Then it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Not the good just the drinks! We all got the fun and eat deal for the game cards. We was told we couldn't get the cards unless you have a card on file or paid first. So we paid for our orders to get the cards because they closed early. The food took two hours to come out (at closing) and was extremely cold. We didn't get our game cards until it was time to leave. Then all of our orders didn't come out and the waiter assumed that we was lying. Even after I showed her every meal on the table. I felt so disgusted. I would never recommend this place to anyone nor would I come back. Worst experience ever!!

This could be much better than it is. I appreciate the addition of something like this in the Columbia mall, but it really felt like a second-rate Dave and Buster's. Went on a Saturday nite and they had maybe half the number of staff as they actually needed. They should have dedicated servers for the bowling alley, but instead offer a food/Bev ordering handheld which didn't even work so we had to flag down people to order. Food is mediocre at best, especially for something located in Columbia. Took forever to get what we ordered (even just drinks took 20 minutes). There was a 3 hour wait to get lane but luckily we made reservations. Nobody seemed interested in moving people out of the lane once their time was over. The two lanes next to ours were filled the whole time by a party that ended before we got there. They just sat there the whole time we were there, taking up two of the lanes. Somebody should've asked them to give up the lanes, but again, not enough staff. The staff we did interact with were at least nice though. Overall, I would not go back because of the lack of service and poor food selection. I really don't see this place lasting long. Maybe when it inevitably fails some sort of recognized brand will take over.

Went with a group. It was busy. I only bowled but there was no end of stuff to do. Tons of kids of course, but lots of adults too, particularly young adults and teens. Next time I'll do laser tag which a lot of my friends said was fun. Monday night is the value proposition for Main Event. $11 plus shoe rental if you're going to bowl.

Would not recommend going during peak times for dining/bowling unless you have a reservation. We decided on the "Play Your Way" package and signed up for bowling as soon as we arrived. Our name and cell number was noted, credit card charged for passes and shoe rental and we were told around 90 minutes to get a lane. Four hours later and we were still on the waiting list! My boys did enjoy several rounds of laser tag, so at least they didn't complain. The manager also refunded the shoe rental charges and a bit extra for the misinformation. We also planned to get the food and fun package, but the kitchen and waitstaff were so behind, we were told it would be at least 30' to get a table and no one was there to take our name. We came back and were told it would be at least another 20'. We dined at the food court in the mall instead.

Plenty of parking. Entrances both inside the mall and from the outside. Went there for a company event so I cannot comment on prices. There is laser tag, bowling, billiards and video games. It's great to get away for a short time. I believe birthday parties would be awesome since they do have a semi private area with plenty of tables. There is some food and drink available as well.

First time going and I honestly had a great time. We got the summer pass for 19.95 that includes bowling, laser tag and pool unlimited. Unfortunately what lost a star was that we ordered a skillet cookie and waited almost an hour to find out they sent it to someone else and when they replaced it they gave us two cookies with icecream. Not a skillet cookie. We waited almost an hour for two rock hard regular cookies and icecream? After speaking with a manager he apologized and was very kind about it and made it right with us. There were two waitresses that were so sweet I think one name was Tai? I'm not sure but she was awesome. The bowling shoe rubbed me wrong and she got me a bandage and made sure I was all good! The drinks arrive slow sometimes whether busy or not but we were too busy having fun to really notice. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

My company had an event at Main Event and it was TERRIFIC! It is Dave & Busters on steroids! Actually, it is D&B and add on Laser Tag which makes it better than D&B. I think our food was catered ... but if that was normal Main Event food, then their food selections and quality are miles ahead of D&B!! I don't know the regular prices for Main Event, but I would think they are pretty much the same or a little higher than D&B. Kids had a great time, young adults had a great time, and the seniors had a great time!

I attended a young child's birthday party at Main Event Entertainment this past weekend. The whole venue was incredibly busy and I wasn't really sure what to expect. The party had a dedicated attendant who helped with everything from getting properly fitting shoes for the kids to getting names inputted in to the system for score tracking. The event handled some of the small details of the party really well. For example, when the drinks were brought out all of the cups were already labeled with a kids name and the drink type. It freed up the parents from having to do it and the kids just respectfully looked for their name instead of grabbing for the closest drink and arguing over ownership. Likewise, the food was brought out all at once, so everyone was able to eat together and no one felt left out waiting. I left impressed at how well the whole event was handled.

The venue itself is awesome. The service at the bowling lanes, however, has been consistently terrible. We are currently 35 minutes in to our game and the bucket of beer (only 5 bottles) we ordered at the very beginning still hasn't arrived. They must have had to pick them from the garden or something.... Meanwhile, while going to the bathrooms you can see 7 servers in a back room doing nothing but chitchatting. This seems to be the theme the past few times we've gone here which is unfortunate.

My biggest issue was that the staff seemed uninterested... not rude though. So this was my first time at main event and it was a bad experience. I first get there the place was clean as I can say but when I asked the workers that were at the doors to wipe the table they told me go ask that man over there in a rude tune. Plus one of the workers came to work with a scarf on her head, no a great presentation of such a good place. Then they also had only one server so me and my family had to wait about 20-30 minutes before we got our food. Not such a great service. Then after we ate my family has been having the worst stomach pains ever since and still does. In my opinion this isn’t a good place. The workers were rude, they wouldn’t even greet you when you walk through the doors.

Absolutely amazing addition to the columbia mall! It's almost like a Dave & Busters with a bowling alley and for some it's much closer to get to than the nearest Dave & Busters. Wide selection of games, good food, and great prices! I love coming here to bowl and eat with my friends on the weekends. Depending on how many people are in your group if you're bowling, I'd recommend splitting into smaller groups if you want to play more games. You pay a flat rate for 1 hour and bowl as much as you can in that hour, and pay individually for shoe rental. So if you've got 6 people you may only get through one game, where as if you split into 2 groups of 3 you may each get in about 2 games which is ultimately a better deal. HIGHLY recommend for birthday parties or anyone just looking to have a good time!

Planned this as a Father’s Day outing and rented a lane in advance for $36 an hour! Price was steep, but would have been worth it- if the rest of the experience of been as good as the bowling. We waited 45 minutes for our food and our drinks only came after asking three different waiters- another 10 minutes after our food was sitting and getting cold... we ended up walking around and finding our own napkins and had to ask again for cutlery to eat with. And then our bill was combined with the table beside ours... worst experience, will not be returning DO NOT RECOMMEND!

My 6 year old went to a party here and the staff person in charge of the party was extremely rude. My daughter was sitting at the table for about 15 minutes along with one other child and she didn't bother to ask either of them if they wanted cake while others got seconds. Awful service. Another child was also missing within the arcade and nobody seemed to care until she was missing for 25 minutes. Don't allow young children in your establishment if your staff has no idea how to interact with children and is going to treat them like trash. However, besides the bad service the establishment itself is nice. Large, many games, and clean. Should be nice if you aren't doing parties.

WARNING: This review is horrendously long because our experience was SO awful. There will be a TL:DR at the end. Our group of four visited on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30. It was pretty packed… understandable due to the time of day. Waited in line for about 30 minutes to pay. There is a deal for $25 per person for an all-day pass for “Bowling, Billiards, Laser Tag, and more!” We asked what the “and more” was and they flat out said there wasn’t anything “more” at this location. The normal deal on any day but Saturday is $7 per activity to play all day, so since they only have 3 activities it would be $21 to do everything all day. Their $25 pass is just a bogus deal… a ploy for Saturday traffic. It was also an extra $2.75 each for bowling shoes. We decided to do it anyways because we’d already been waiting and wanted to spend hours there playing! Note: None of the arcade games count in this deal, they are separate and you have to buy one of their cards and then load money on it to play. It was an hour wait for bowling. That’s fine, we got on the waiting list and went in line for the Laser Tag. We were behind 3 people in the line. We wait the 15 minutes, those people leave and we are ready to go in. Nope, a birthday party was able to cut the line of people and go in. Okay fine, we wait 15 more minutes for that group, they come out. We are ready to go in once again! Nope… another birthday party was let in ahead of us. So here we are… an hour into our arrival at the Main Event and all we’ve been able to do is wait in line. Also want to add that there were several guns/vests not being used and several people in the line could have been let in to play both times. So many people in the line just gave up at that point. Finally after that group ended we were let in! Hooray!.... But another birthday party was let in after many in the line were let in. Apparently there were no available vests/guns for those from the party who straggled in late so the employees were trying to get people who weren’t in the party to leave. We just stood to the side, until the employees gave up and let us all in. Sorry but we were not waiting another 15 minutes for ANOTHER birthday party to be let in ahead of your other paying customers. After we finish our round we went and played billiards as we waited for our bowling lane to open up. No one seemed to know where to get the balls from… and no one wanted to wait in line to ask the desk (finding an employee on the floor who wasn’t tagged to a birthday party was near impossible) so we just grabbed the balls of a vacated table. We were called for bowling about half an hour AFTER the initial hour wait they told us. We play, things are great. We order a Red Bull and a Smoothie from our tabletop screen. About 20 minutes after ordering they still hadn’t come. (other lanes around us got their orders) We ended up asking THREE employees about this… they said they would check on it… and then disappear. In fact one of those employees even tried to avoid the person in our group as they were approached. We NEVER got our drinks… we had to go to the bar ourselves and reorder them. After bowling we waited for one more laser tag round (luckily only a 15 minute wait like it should be), and then played billiards again for about 20 minutes just so we could justify the paying $25 per person. We finally were just exhausted by the overall experience and just wanted to leave. TL:DR Horrible experience, rip-off prices, birthday parties given priority over other paying customers in both entry to games and food orders. Couldn’t play activities more than once or twice. Spent more time in line than playing. DO NOT GO (unless you are invited to a birthday party I guess.)

The games are a little pricey, but the bowling lanes are well maintained and the drinks are strong! I went to an event arranged by my company, and the buffet they put out for us was pretty good. The laser tag arena feels fresh and new, and doesn't stink like most that I've been to. On top of that, the actual laser tag system is top-notch, and does a great job of accurately tracking your shots. As I mentioned before, the drinks are great, and they're pretty reasonably priced. Brianna is a fantastic bartender!

It started out as a nice looking place with great potential. But, they're on alcohol probation for some type of violation. The lemon pepper wings tasted nothing of pepper but it was straight salt, like a salt bath. We couldn't even eat them. Moonlight bowling, someone was turning on and off the lights for some strange reason. The pizza was lacking cheese and sauce, really! So it's definitely not worth the price just for bread. I gave two stars because the service was good but everything else was dismal.

When the food came we still had no drinks! Needless to say we will not be coming back!!

This is a review for the restaurant only. Quite possibly the worst service I've ever experienced at any restaurant. If I could give zero stars I would. We came in shortly after opening to eat to an almost empty restaurant. It took twenty minutes before anyone took our drink order, another twenty five to get the drinks, and our food took over 40 minutes to be delivered, even then it was bought out one or two at a time with long gaps, not all together. We had to ask for all drink refills, and often had to walk them to the bar ourselves. Both bringing the bill and then returning took another twenty minutes. For a simple lunch in a nearly empty restaurant, I have now been here FOR OVER 100 MINUTES. It cut into a lot of the time and money I was going to spend on the arcade/laser tag portion of my visit. Absolutely shameful.

I had a birthday party for my son and we all had an amazing time! Kierstin was our party host and she was fantastic! I hardly ever had to wait to find her for something and she made everything very smooth during the party. The food was great and the kids had a blast. The pricing for the party was even great. The only issue i had was the laser tag was rushed and i wish we could have went in with just our birthday party but the kids still had a blast. Thank you to Kierstin and main event for a wonderful birthday for my son!

I attended for the 1st time today for a children's bday party. The games appeared to be fun and lots to do for the children, however their service is horrible. The food is on a scale lower than McDonald's and the drinks equals a rode side bar. Stick to beer or wine and you can't go wrong, stay far far away from mixed drinks. The children's meal was brought out and lack taste. The brought out the drinks 30 minutes after their food came. And as parents we sat there looking around for someone to take our order and 45 mins later someone show up and after we inquiry if we can place our order, we were told someone should have come over. All in all take the family to have fun but feed them before or after. Main Event who be a great place to go, just minus the food and drink part out.

The games are fun it’s on the smaller side compared to Dave and busters but it feels newer if that makes since. There is laser tag which is fun and bowling here as well. Main Events is located where Sears was, connected to the Columbia Mall. If you like fun and games, this is the place for you. It has a bowling alley, laser tag, pool tables and many other fun games and arcade. We went there for a company party. The pizza was not that great but we still had a great time.

My husband and I met friends here last night with high hopes. A few of them had checked the venue out previously and thought it might be a great spot to bowl, drink and have some fun. Unfortunately, our high hopes and expectations were not met and the venue ended up being a HUGE disappointment!! Let's start with the two lanes we had reserved that weren't ready when we got there, so we had to wait around for about 20 minutes. I will say the staff gave us play cards to use while we waited which was very nice of them to do. Next, the bowling shoes were very worn and the velcro straps didn't work properly causing my husband to slip and sprain his ankle while bowling. Moving on, our party was greeted promptly by a woman who introduced herself as our server, but pretty much after the initial introduction, and 2/3 of the drink orders had been delivered, we had to wait for long periods of time before she would come back to the table. One drink had to be sent back and I never got the drink I ordered because when she finally came back to the table, about 25 minutes later, she said that they didn't have the ingredients to fix my drink that by the way I had ordered from the menu. Our party ordered quite a few appetizers and for the most part, they were fair and what you would probably expect from a basic bowling alley menu. We ordered the buffalo and barbecue wings, spinach dip, cheese curds and calamari. Overall, I'm not sure we'll be returning because just not convinced it's worth it. Looks like a mini version of Dave and Busters, but not as nice or as well executed.

We got the $30 eat play combo. The service in the restaurant area is absolutely awful and needs a lot of work. While my kids food came out extremely fast, I sat for 45-50 minutes waiting for mine. No napkins at the table and No napkins or silverware with what I ordered (a steak). Our drink cups sat empty for 20 minutes before they were refilled. I eventually had to walk to the bar for silverware. I would at least like to be able to taste my food before it’s cold. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here again.
