I’ve always enjoyed my time here, it would get frustrating from time to time because different lifeguards would have different rules, but nothing to deter us from coming and having a good time. After this last experience my family and I will not be returning. My sister called ahead about what foods are allowed ( since rules seem to constantly change here), the young lady told her any “prepared food is fine” and also “ food must already be cut up”. After being there for over an hour we decided to feed the children pizza and a treat (cupcakes). While eating a staff member approached us and told us we would need to get rid of the cupcakes. He said that it’s not allowed but the pizza is okay. My brother in law asked for them to show him where that rule was. They could not produce this rule. The exchange seemed to be cordial. 10 mins later the police were called because we did not throw away the cupcakes. When the police arrived they understood our frustration however we were asked to leave to prevent any further issues. We were humiliated and WILL NOT be returning.
The children and I had a great time. There is enough to do for children and adults. You can bring your own food and drink. Get there early to secure a covered pavilion. Don't go on the weekend, too crowded. The admission fee is reasonable. $5, for seniors over 60 and $5 for children.
We go at least once a year. Little Dude loves the slides
U get to bring food
Loved it
Nice place 4kids
This was a very dirty pool...plus the kids pool was down till around two o'clock..plus nothing to eat...
Nice splash park for families
Great for kids!
Love this splash park nice to have a get together with friends
Nice place to have family fun, picnic, clean, and safe for everyone
Good
My son always has so much fun here. We have gone for birthday parties, which is a great idea. There are lots of fun water features for kids of all ages. It can get really crowded with summer camps.
It was definitely worth the price!!! Wish there was more for the toddlers to do..I would Definelty go again!!!!
They need to clean their bathrooms better but the pool area is good fun for kids under 15.
It was fun and the water was a good temperature but the life guards were SO BOSY and would let you race or play without blowing the whistle.
Bathrooms were not clean at all... and because of the thundering we sat in heat for an hour I understand the precautions they had to take but a lot of people left and that's not free we gotta pay.
Love the place, great for kids
Its cool, plus i work here at the community center so on fridays the kids and the staff just walk to it. The water is always clean, they clean it every morning and when its slow and hardly no one there they clean it again
my kid like it very much, nice place.
MY GIS SOCCER TEAM LOVES THE PLACE
Nice splash park for kids, took my son for the first time, we had a great time love it
Great place for the kids.
Bathroom was nasty and people kept throwing up in the pool so we wasn't there for long
Fun time
Lifeguards sometimes are not paying attention to the kids in water
Great for kids of all ages.
Cute place for splashing around with the children
Can get super crowded on the weekends, but so fun and well kept. Life gaurds and staff are great. A little pricey, but totally worth it.
Good for relaxation
My children loved this splash park. The pool's about no more than 4 ft. The toddler side is about a foot of water. It's perfect for the little ones.
Ultimate fun for the children esp on HOT days
Yasssss
It has fun water amenities for kids of ages and it is kept well.
Fun fun fun
Nice pricing.spent couple hours with little ones here.had alot of fun!!
Summer weekends it can get to capacity and temporarily close
The splash park is great! It's got plenty of options for swimmers big and small. There are several poolside chairs and picnic tables as well. The only downside is the bathrooms are totally gross! Other than that, we had a blast.
Clean, well maintained and very in inviting. Great place for summer birthday parties!
Great place to go when you want to take the kids for a swim. Get there early because you will have to wait if the pool is crowded. I do wish the water was cooler and deeper in the regular pool. Kids had fun in the baby area, as did I.
Clean
Some staff members are just disrespectful
Great fun for the kids
Had a Ball with my Godson! Definitely will return!
It was fun for my baby, but the park is very small
Great splash park, however the bathrooms were FILTHY!!
(Translated by Google) Excellent, a very nice place although it is mostly for children's fun, but in the end that's why I wanted to go so that my children had fun and had a great time (Original) Excelente, un lugar muy bonito aunque es más que todo para diversión de los niños, pero al final por eso quería ir para que mis hijos se divirtieran y la pasaron super
I would say this water park is best for kids 2-12. The pool itself is a bit small and only gets 3 1/2ft at the deepest part for swimming. So again, great for younger ons, teens will be bored. A really nice smaller kids area with a water slide and inner tube ramp. Remember, no reentry. Can bring a cooler/bag with food. And the last quarter of every hr is adult swim only. Absolutely NO water play for any kids- including the splash pad. My kids (10,7,6) had a lots of fun.
I LOVE this water park because my daughter doesn't swim but she had plenty of options for her to do! I also love you can bring food!! I LIVE in New York now but whenever I come home this is our new summer hang out
Looking for a kid friendly splash park?....found it!....not much sitting space but if you bring your own chairs they have plenty grass...lol my children range from 4-13 and they all enjoyed....
We celebrated a birthday party there. They're very strict about the rules. If you don't abide by the rules they take your security deposit. Unless you book a birthday with them you can't celebrate a birthday there because they will not allow you to bring any decorations excess food or stuff that would be considered a party unless you pay them $175. I'm not too sure if Montgomery County pools are the same way. But this was the 1st time I've ever had to do that. Over all the birthday girl had a great time so we had a great time .
Great facility. Wish they would expand. July is one of their busiest months. The indoor pool that runs this splash park is Theresa Banks.
We often don't give credit where credit is due especially in the black community unless we are benefiting from it. I want to take the time to Thank Nicole and Simone for their amazing teamwork and effort today. Unfortunately, today didn't go as well as planned in no way. I received a call at 11:30am about the kiddie pool being down and because of the weather, the park may have to cancel. I have 20 kids. I appreciated the call but I knew I would take my chances. When I arrived, I could tell the staff was hot and bothered. Customers weren't that happy so it showed with some staff. Nicole made it great. She apologized, made sure my party was ok and updated us as much as possible. Due to the weather, the children were only able to play in the water for 1 hour. We waited around for 2 hours. I knew that the kids couldn't get back in but was glad to see the staff inform us and they were empathic. I bought them pizza and for a moment, they were able to play in the water. That moment was just enough. They did reimbursed me and apologized again. I'm grateful for that staff and them sticking to their rules. I think we want them to bend it for our sake but safety is key. In addition, Nicole is phenomenal. With people upset and staff, she kept her composure and professionalism.
Took my 2 toddlers and niece. The kiddie area was good. I like that you can bring your own food and "drinks" Good price, I was a bit surprised to find out there were nothing but plastic lawn chairs to sit in...unless you were having a party there then you have access to the covered areas with benches.
Fun place but a little dirty.
Very nice and lovely.
This is a great low-depth pool for families with younger children. There is a splash park for toddlers with a couple slides and water features right across from a pool with a max depth of about 3 feet; this pool also has a few water features and slide.
Mann this park only got 3 slides and it is extremely small and not to mention they don't got no food so I would say it's definitely not worth going to
The pool breaks are nice but bathrooms were horrible
My baby girl had a blast.
Nice atmosphere but every time my family and I went, someone vomited and the pool had to close for about an hour. Two stars for effort but minus three for bad experiences.

Making kids wait in 98+ weather, instead of asking an adult how many are in the party is irresponsible. Illogical switsuit restriction. Cotton doesn't disolve in the rain and won't disolve in a pool to the point there needs to be a restriction. Not to mention a low grade residential filter would catch any small particulars, including the grass that surrounds the pool. Staff removes people from unreserved party umbrellas, and the pool doesn't take unreserved parties. So there is no reason for that. A sports bra is made of the same material as swim trunks, as are basketball shorts. Not allowing floaters for children? Glenn Dale is trying to pull one over on residents that this is an acceptable recreation center. A recreational center not in the downtown of a large million+ population city, should not be this small with so many needless regulations. Rural towns less than 10,000 have better facilities.
Nice pool for family and kids. Cost onky $5 if yyou are a resident of Prince Georges county.
Love this splash park

Clean, family friendly, and lots of fun. Gets crowded but the children are well behaved.
We were visiting from out of town and brought all of the children here, it was a nice concept and seemed like a very nice place for the kids to play but they take a "break" about every hour. What the point of this "break" is nobody seems to know but everyone has to get out of the wAter for about 20 minutes. It was really silly and pointless and not to mention inconvenient when you have kids all standing around the water waiting to go back in not understanding why they had to get out and can not go back in. The lifeguards and workers all seemed lackadaisical and more interested in mingling with each other than anything else. Nice concept but management needs to make some adjustments.
New to me, I took my daughter today I was surprised to find out.this treasure its so. Close to my home,. It's wonderful
Been going to this pool for the last 3 years and loved the water, playground and freedom the kids have playing. This year however this pool got a couple of lifeguards who can be very rude to the children and the assistant manager needs anger management. Today at the pool was one of the worst experiences of my life at a pool. First the one girl in the concession stand poured herself a slushie and stuck her finger in it and was scooping it on her mouth (yuk!) Then the assistant manager was way out of line screaming multiple times at kids like a psycho. I can see why there is less and less ppl going here, I know we will not be back.
They have a no reentry policy you have to repay to come back in if you leave something in your car
I love the baby splash rides slides and the fact babies can have fun just like the bigget kids its awsome went and loved it perfect family get away cant wait to go back have been telly my friends to go. TywondaMC
Visited with a friend. Nothing spectacular. I watched the kids swim- much too shallow for me- and I'm only 4'11'
Very affordable, clean and neat. Had a very positive experience with customer service
Not too crowded. Fun for the whole family, but no deep end
Super fun and family friendly! Clean restrooms and fun but professional life guards too.
Loved the water park and my nephew loves it as well. Only thing I didn't like was the no toys in the pool, like a floaty ball or a small water gun or anything and I also wish they had more shaded areas. But besides that, it is a great place for family to swim all day long.
It looks nice and fun for the kids but I haven't actually been able to use it. Everytime I go they are closed to the public. The hours are strange and confusing and not friendly for toddlers who nap from 1-3. Personally knowing that it doesn't fit my schedule during the week I would only be able to go on a Saturday when I'm not traveling. Hopefully they have morning hours on a Saturday?
I like that you can bring outside food in and it's has pools for all ages we have a great time every visit
Grandson had a ball
The pool is decent. Usually crowded in the summer.
brought my kids here for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. aside from the fact that they don't have lockers, everything else about them was great. you can even bring/order food/pizza. will be returning all summer long. there was a wonderful life guard as well named Hayward, good looking out thank you for keeping us safe.
Bathroom needs attention. I mean seriously dirty!!! Looks like no body is managing that place.
Closedown
Enjoyed
It is cool the slid that let us go together
My kids love this place
Had sooo much fun! Couldn't stay off the water slide
Lovely place for a family outting. Just enough attraction to keep you busy (w/ little ones and older elementary). Bring your lunch/snacks with you.
Great
My kids and I always enjoy! Friendly staff always a plus
It was nice and clean . I will like to visit again
Wonderful place for kids
Great, fun loving place to be
I used to love it a lot more as a child. Now you notice the staff on there phone ignoring you... as a kid it was cool to see someone at work relaxing... no mas!
Nice county splash park for all ages.
Its has a lot of space to play with your kids
Nice park! Small but lots of kid safe activities and seating space
Go early in the morning, if you go later you wouldn't be really able to enjoy.
Nice.....but we need more rides...nice slides though....
Always have a great time when we go there. Very nice and clean facility. Everyone is very cordial.
The splash park is clean and organize
Glenn Dale Splash Park is an Enjoyable Place to Attend to in the Summer time!
Bathrooms ARE DISGUSTING!!!!! You would rather hold it TRUST Me!!! For you to have to pay to get in this splash park the bathroom should be clean what are we paying for? Its common courteousy or customer service. One of the restroom says “Out Of Order” and the rest are toilets are stopped up paper all over the floor, wet nasty dirty floors and all the staff are just sitting around doing ABSOLUTELY nothing. They break EVERY Chance they get it seems like. If you reserved a funbrella PLEASE do NOT bother because your FULL paid reserved time will not be utilized. They break so much and that is what eat your time Up they try to be so slick about it. Simply unfair!! I just visited there today and I will NOT be going back or EVER recommending this place to ANYONE!! Simply dissatisfaction!
Very chill place for families with young children
Great place for families to take there children but get there early there is a limit on patrons allowed in
My family love it. I. Love the slide and water activities. I would definitely keep a birthday party here in the future.
Although it rained for a bit, the staff was super helpful.
Local community pool and recreation center.
Very good place
I have a 18 month old and a 12 year old. Every saturday i take my kids they love this water park very much. My son also take swimming lesson at this area. I recommend it for everyone.
Fun and refreshing with multiple pools of varying depths, none more than 3-1/2 feet. 3 water slides and multiple water features. We had a great time at our friends birthday party!
Today was a nice day to be at the park weather was just right. However there were a few things I saw that need improvement the table we were sitting at was very loose luckily no one in my party fell also some of the spinklers more like majority of them in the children's area do not work
I was harassed by the "manager" while escorting my son with special needs to the bathroom, advised to go to family bathroom, only to visit the family bathroom which had yellow stains on the toilet and water all over the floor. I didn't appreciate that...we were rushing to use the bathroom and she could have waited until we were done to advise of the policy....
It's a cool place to take the kids
Nice place my son had a ball
Fun for the kids
Fun fun fun
Kids absolutely love this place!
(Translated by Google) It's a nice place for kids to have a lot of fun (Original) Es un lugar bonito para los niños se divierten bastante
Great place for cheap.
I love going to the splash park. Me and my family always have a great time there. Lots of water and activities . I love that you can celebrate birthday parties there. Having a swim is lots of fun!
I love this Water park. Me and my cousins do have a blast.
Lots of fun. And a great way to beat the heat.
Took my son for his birthday he had a ball we brought in food no problem they do have some exceptions pool is cool only doesnt go very deep but the slides pretty fun and its pretty cheap to get a few ppl in. So definitely take the family and have a good time
Never got in to crowded
A hidden gem in PG County. $6 for resident adults. Free for little ones 3 and under. Perfect place for birthday parties. First cone first serve for pavilions unless you make a reservation. They do take 15 minute breaks from the water. Bring all your poolside items along with your cooler and make it a day of fun. Check the website for hours of opening. They close at 6p. I love the fact that they have a separate area for the little kids under 4ft tall.
We get a family pass here every summer. Nice pool, get there early.
Fun Outdoor family splash park; For Pg residents :children 2 & under free,3yrs to 17 yrs old $5,Adults 18 to 59 yrs $6. If you like taking frequent splash or you have little ones that do,I'd personally recommend that you get the monthly or 3 month swim pass ! You'll be glad you did :")
First time here, it is an Okay place for kids and inexpensive only $8 if your a non resident. I did not like all the breaks the staff took every 30 minutes so no one could get in the water. They are only open for 5 hours and 45 mins,so why so many breaks and long breaks at that? I was only there from 1:50- 3:50 and they closed the water 3 times in that small amount of time. Each time was 20 minutes or more.Kids got restless and just started running around waiting for the water activities to reopen. Do not know if I will return..
Need more staff and lifeguards
Love the parks
This is the perfect place to go if you have small kids.
Family fun! Great birthday party spot!
This is her mother. We really enjoyed our time there!! Everything was nice. The children had a BLAST
Love it
Had a great time.
Had to wait outside till a number of people exit the premises. No apologies. Seemed like the norm.
Very nice and enjoyable..The kids just loved it.....
Fun for the kids AND me too!!!
Good for kids
The staff are friendly and the environment is neat to visit.
Its a nice place for kids to spend a day in water.though small and no fancy rides but kids enjoyed just being in water
Had a blast with my family
