Fort Howard is one of my favorite spots but with that said i truly wish they could get some areas cleaned up a bit.. but if you can look past that its a great place to wander around, see some birds, let the kids play on the playground, watch the water, explore some of the old forts.. you can find some raspberry bushes in the summer, lots of honeysuckle, tons of sea glass and and some cool droftwood at times. Its free to get in but it shuts down for the haunted dungeons in Sept until after halloween so keep that in mind before driving down.

Nice place to visit if you're looking for a quiet walk down history lane accompanied by the incredible view of the bay. It's also kids friendly, there's a playground that overlooks the bay which is pretty amazing.

We're state park or federal park ever but I've gone to flies are so bad you get by like 200,000 bytes in like 20 minutes you asked for help from the park rangers or of the park staff is to help you get back to your things and nobody will help don't go in here and less you have that stuff that used to use it in Vietnam to kill everything

I can't believe such a beautiful park is free to enter. There's nothing better than a morning walk with my dog at Fort Howard. There's such rich history and gorgeous views. It's well kept and I've never seen and trash. Fort Howard is my favorite place.

We hold our annual International Order of Odd Fellows meeting there annually. As we have several elderly members they even provided transport to and from the parking lot to the pavilion. Beautiful view and accomodating staff.

I always enjoy reading about the history of this fort and there's an abundance of history all around the fort to read and learn about role the fort played in history.

My favorite park!!! I love it, it is free. All the paths actually take you through the woods as opposed to a wide open park with the trees on the outside of it. And then there's the fort itself which is fun to explore. Its right on the water. It has 2 playgrounds for children. And is huge! I love the feeling of walking through a forest. The upkeep is great.

It's free, it has spectacular water views lots of walking paths and nice tot lot. It's very historical and the information signs were recently up dated and offer lots of good trivia. Finally it's the scene for now amazing haunted house held for charity every Halloween

This is a very nice park. There are lots of historical ruins of Fort Howard to see and explore. There are signs explaining the significance and meaning of all the sites. It is a great place to take kids to explore and learn. There are also beautiful views of the water, and nature trails to hike.
