WOW, The view is amazing, but be careful when hiking the trail. Lots of steep steps/climb and very narrow trail. Do not recommend for anyone who has mobility challenges. I hiked the trail from the Difficult Run Parking Lot. If you have never hiked in this part of the park, I recommend having a printed map. I also use a hiking app to track my hike, and if I were to get lost, I can always back track or use the online map as a guide.

Nothing too exciting. If you are only hiking to this point to see the Rock, you will be underwhelmed. The hike itself is great though!

Great trail! A lot to see and take pictures of. Don't go on the weekend. Hard to get in to park and no way to find a parking nearby

Great place for hiking.

Beautiful place- can be seen and visited from the billy goat trail on the Potomac river. Definitely worth stopping to see

Great Falls is always a gorgeous hike. This can be a bit strenuous but manageable for even the youngest of kids. There are also flatter trails nearby.
