REVIEWS OF Pump House Indoor Waterpark IN Maine

Jamie Haubner

Stayed at a Jay Peak condo for a long weekend and we got a lot of use out of the water park. It was fun for all ages and kept everyone entertained for hours. I thought it was very clean and well-kept. However, it is extremely HOT inside. If you are not planning on going into the water make sure you have shorts, t-shirt and sandals or it won't be bearable.

(Translated by Google) Nice place to spend the day with family when it rains. Canadian money accepted at par we love it. Two flat by cons. fast food is only found in the on-site restaurant and lockers are not included in the entry price. (Original) Bel endroit pour passer la journée en famille quand il pleut. Well run but not cheap !

Most water parks charge extra for the “extreme” rides. The zero gravity drop waterslide and surfing wave makes up for the water being cold & the hot tub needing to be cleaned.

Thin Mint

Tons of fun! Great pricing for military members, lots of stuff for kids and the red drop slide is terrifying.

This place is friggin awesome! Big and lots of food options

Philippe Palard

Nice place, but went during spring break so it was more than packed. For canadian bring your canadian money and passport to pay, they offer par pricefor entry and locker, not for restaurant. The snack bar is nice and surprised not to be too overpriced as it is usually at Ski Station.

Only indoor water park worth going to in Vermont.

Noah Sidel

Excellent for young kids. Our 5-year-old *LOVED* it. The options for our 3-year-old were a little limited, though. The park is very small... 3 big slides most 5-year-olds should be able to do (1 without a tube solo and 2 with tubes with a parent). There's the crazy fast slide for adults that's ok, but frankly, not that great because it's very short. Then there's a little swim area with some basketball nets and a climbing wall, a small kids zone, and a wave rider that's fun enough and a decent hot tub. The best part was probably the lazy river that wasn't so lazy - it was quite wavy, which made it fun to go on with the kids. Overall, it's a very nice place, but I wouldn't go for more than one day if you're just going for the water park. If you're skiing/snowboarding AND doing the water park, it's much more worthwhile.

Troy Anctil

Good fun for the kids

Travis Fletcher

Awesome place for "kids" of all ages , perfect place to spend the day/days without worry of the weather

Suzanne Blanchard

We love the Pumphouse!

Darien Temper

Amazing place for the family. I have a 5 and 7 year old and they loved it swimming in winter. Has a very loud atmosphere but lots of lifeguards actually paying attention to the kids. Food was fast and fresh could eat without even going anywhere. Not alot of tables to sit but they are available. Parking was tough to find a spot but a worker helped us.

Adam Gerlack

The best waterpark in the North East U.S.!

Debbie Sweeney

Very kid friendly place. The staff is awesome, the slides are exciting and there's nothing like a relaxing ride down the Lazy River. The even have a basket ball water area and surfing!. Nice gift shop as well.

Az Yk

Amazing, specialy for kids.

The Pump House is an indoor waterpark that is offered as part of the Jay Peak resort. I guess that after a long day of skiing, spending a couple of hours at the park is a relaxing evening. With that said, the water park does not stand "on its own", especially when compared to other water parks such as Great Wolf Lodge. The park is tiny -- you can walk from one end to the other in about a minute. There are four slides, though two of them are almost identical. None of them were very exciting, not even the "Le Chute" which is supposed to be a star attraction. There's a small area for children, a basketball and climbing wall pool, a surfing attraction, a hot tub, and a river -- that's it. Our family of four got through the whole thing in a few hours. Furthermore, the park staff is non existent. There are life guards, but apart from that finding a park employee is almost impossible. If you have any questions, good luck! The front desk has one person, she is surrounded by ten customers, and just getting towels took us ten minutes. Between the small size and unfriendly atmosphere, I cannot recommend the Pump House water park.

Gordon Sims

Been several times with the family and always have a good time. We like to get there early and eat lunch. Afterwards, get changed and play some video games before heading out.

Josh Mayer

The Pump House Indoor Waterpark is a great place to go after a long, hard day of skiing/snowboarding. You can relax on the chairs or in the hot tub, or have a lot of fun doing the waterslides and surfing simulator, etc. 100% recommend it, not to mention the skiing at Jay Peak is the best in the East.

Matthew Prohaska

When it's too windy and cold, this is the place. Great for the family.

Pierre Laflamme

The fact that people are allowed to hold tables all day, despite not sitting at them is frustrating when you spend $50 on lunch and cannot sit down. Don't you have lockers for rent? oh wait you do, why don't these people have to rent them??? My daughter had fun with her friend.

Kent Tse

Indoor swimming, surfing, boogie board, hot tub, lazy river. What's not to love?

Christine Schneider

Good place to bring your kids would have given it 5 stars if it were not for the creepy bugs crawling in and out of the floor drains in the woman's bathroom

Richard Zeidel

Great place to spend a rainy day with the kids.

We went in late June, it was pretty quiet which was great. My almost 5 year old was already tall enough to go on some of the bigger slides with me (at the same time) which was great and something you don't get at other water parks. There was excellent supervision from the numerous life guards and they all seemed focused on their job. The food from the little shop is pretty much all fried and not that great. I'm not sure if you're allowed outside food but that would be a huge bonus. There are basically 3 main slides 1 crazy slide no one used, a pretty decent lazy river, a small kids area that has a lot of splashing so not Great for kids under 4/ 5 or over 7/8 (too big).. Also a surf wave which is very cool but Will have a wait and is a short ride if you aren't skilled. There's a big Jacuzzi cut into sections which allows for semi-privacy and a pool with some basketball hoops and q climbing wall. All in all enough to do for half a day or a full day for those who don't tend to get bored. On its own a bit expensive for a family, we were in transit and stayed the night at hotel Jay (beautiful rooms) and with the hotel room the park is included, an absolutely Great deal if youre in the area in the summer. I heard that winter is much busier and I'm sure the rooms are much more expensive.

Joshua Weiner

best water park ever!!!!!!!!!

Zachary Samenfeld

Kept the kids entertained for hours, favorite spot, it's open year round which is great for winter fun in the florescent lighting. ⚠️: bring your own towels!!! Trust me. It's got a snack shack but be warned it's quite expensive. Everything at Jay peak seems to be.

Jeanesse Bourgeois

Kids enjoyed it.

Aubrey Backscheider

My kids loved this place, and I got to fall flat on my face trying to surf!

Very fun! Has everything from a water slide with a loop to a lazy river for when you have nothing to do. You can even go indoor surfing!

BLang Blang

Lot of fun!

nathalia velasquez

Your scape from the cold weather after skiing/snowboarding all day. From lazy river to Double Barrel Flowrider: 42" tall to boogie board and 52" tall for stand-up surfing. Woohoooo

Anni Wells

Amazing place to bring ur kids!!

Lauren Kinney

Amazing water park!! loved it!

Brooke Powe

An experience of a lifetime

ojms05

The water park is great the rides are great but the lazy river floor is very sharp and can cause some minor harm

Lisa Worthington

The half-day admission is a good deal and gives more than enough time to try out all the slides a few times over... we felt no shame as adults out to have some fun on a summer weekday. Nice beer selection at the snack bar, and decent lockers and change rooms. The glass roof to avoid sunburn is a big plus on hot days.

Ranjit Khadka

It was a very good experience. The slides and i liked the hot spring.

Karina Pourreaux

Were there during our spring break and we enjoyed our stay.

Joao Bras-Jorge

If you're into giant water parks... in a ski resort...

Patti Owens

Fantastic fun for the whole family. We had a great time!

Sigalo Nicolas

Really worth it, specially with the family. Just the "la chute" waterslide is awesome. Maybe a full day there is too much, but you can get a 4pm-8pm at a cheaper price than the full day. 4 hours was well enough for us

Nathan Wemple

The red slide is fun

Jack Baird

If you're an adult without kids, don't waste your time here. Just trying to sit in the hot tub is impossible with the flood of unsupervised children rushing into it like D day. It was absolutely ridiculous.

Genie Medeiros

Best experience with very kind staff. Fun for all ages

Brendan Granger

Overall Great, Just They Did Not Allow Me Into The Small Slide Area Because I Was To Tall, But I Was Only 10. Other Than That, This Water Park Is Awesome. Also One Of The 2 Drop Slides (LaChute) In The World Is In Here.

Kim Hayes

A fabulous indoor waterpark. The lazy rive can be done by riding supplied tubes that are either single or double, walked, swum - the maximum depth is only just over 3 feet and is gentle enough for young kids and relaxing for all ages. There are 2 easy exit points and lifeguards the entire length. The 4 slides are 2 with tube and 2 without. The tube slides are equally fun and fast, the orange slide is the gentler of the 2 tubeless ones with the red slide being the thrill one with a vertical drop and a loop. The slides that use tubes can handle the single rider or double rider tubes. There is a toddler and little kid play area manned by a lifeguard with very mini slides, a larger pool with water basketball and a rock climbing wall, a one-at-a-time surf pool with instruction, and a large and inviting hot tub. The bathrooms and changing areas are super clean and I saw someone in there constantly mopping the floors, as well as deck attendants sweeping up the excess water. Lots of tables, and lockers are available for rental. Both the lazy river and hot tub have lifts for people who are not able to be mobile. There is a snack bar with usual fare - hotdogs, hamburgers, fries, drinks - and a bar upstairs. The arcade is also attached and there is a small selection of mostly games of chance to win tickets that can be redeemed for prizes. It was not crowded while we were there and there was little to no lineups for anything. We spent many hours over 2 days enjoying the waterpark and have definite plans to return.

Robert Gaskill

Greatest place to go and enjoy water park slides & activities!

Tons of fun for the kids but really loud.

41 bucks for the whole day per adult, great value. Awesome staff, very clean and upkept, great experience. Had an absolute blast with the little kids, plenty of fun for all ages. Those crazy slides are something to experience !

Lucas Levick

Such a blast! Great for kids and adults.

Worst Margarita ever!!! The barman thinks he’s Tom Cruise

Mike Drollette

Water park was great verry clean nothing to complain about there. However the snack shack was the biggest dump I have ever eatin at and way over priced even if the food would have been edible. Got 2 helpings of chicken strips which was 6 strips total that were completely dried out and fries that are reheated from the night before they were dried out and like hollow couldn't even eat this trash needless to say it was 25 dollars for that. So if your going to come here plain other ways to eat lunch. I wasn't even about to think about eating anywhere else in the hotel after my experience at the snack shack so after having a good day at the water park hoped in the car and headed down the mountain to Bernie's restaurant which was amazing..

Cory Besharah

Had a really good time here with the family. My youngest son really liked the wave to sure on. He could have spent a week on that thing. Good waterslide variety as well for the size.

Scott van Niekerk

Spring visit. Water is a bit cold. Lines wonderfully short for fast slides. Food fair, even had a reasonably priced veggie burger #vegan. Top tip: they provide towels (all be it small) at check in. Finding a table can be a challenge tho.

ryan carr

Amazing place would get 5 stars if it wasnt over priced.

Had a great experience here. Enjoyed the water slides and the lazy river. Was a great place to have fun after a day of skiing.

Amazing!! Go on a weekday and it's not crowded. didn't even have waits for the slides. Food is very pricey but it's still good. There is also an attached arcade, an area for smaller kids, a lazy river, and the flow rider.. So much to do! Thought I'd be bored as a teen but had a blast with my family :)) Worth the one and a half hour drive! Would come here again! Yes, there are lockers as well as family lockers for stuff. We also put some of our things on a table and no one moved them. More than enough tables and chairs

Claudio A.

Good Water Park for a Winter Getaway. Nice water park, well organized and just enough to do for the kids to have a great day sliding and playing in the water. The towels that are provided though are way too small for adults

The start here needs more work and more training. The lifeguard there let my mother get hurt and they did nothing to help her. They just stood there and didn't nothing when my mom asked for help.

Cory Besharah

Had a really good time here with the family. My youngest son really liked the wave to sure on. He could have spent a week on that thing. Good waterslide variety as well for the size.

Ky Buoniconti

This place gets worse every week. Its a "resort" and you certainly charge like one so how about hiring a few people that are friendly and actually want to be there... At the very least a bartender who has a clue? Instead of "oh I guess I was wrong, no I cannot switch out that beer now"

Kevin Murphy

Great indoor water park with 5 water slides, a lazy river, a surf simulator, an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a pool with basketball hoops, plenty of seating, a retractable roof, a bar, lockers, cabanas and an attached arcade. The kids loved running from pool to pool and the lifeguards were very good. The indoor temperature was incredibly warm even when outside was just about freezing. There was about a 15 minute wait to ride on the surfing simulator while we were there on a weeknight during Massachusetts school vacation. The only complaint I had was that I saw many people carrying carriages over the bridges that went over the lazy river. I'm surprised that there was not easier access. There was also a lack of decent food close to the waterpark.

Jenny Chipman

So fun after a day on the slopes

danu ground

좋았어요. 점심 가져가도 괜찮아요.

Melissa Paradis

Was not overly impressed with our visit. People have a tendency to take all the table and store the stuff there for the day while spending 85% of there time in the water. There is no open seating for people to eat. I had to sit on the ground along with my 3 kids and eat. There needs to be a separate dining area for people to sit and eat. Was not impressed.

David Pandolfini

great place would come back every year

jack manson

what used to be a fun family ski mountain is now a evil corp. money sucking tourist trap the one redeeming factor is the tram and hiking trails witch has a amazing view but you can to any other mout in VT to see

Jeff Killian

We've been here several times in the past three years and enjoyed each visit. Today, however, the lazy river was a little too lazy. The waves were not ebbing until very late in the day, the water fall was not flowing and the water spigots were not shooting. And there were far too few water tubes available for use in the river. It was still fun and very relaxing!

Justin Anderson

Awesome place to get out of Vermont winter for a day or two.

Stephanie Pierce

We went for the day with a school trip but I brought my 2 year old son. There isnt a whole lot to do with kids that little but he enjoyed the Mill Pond immensely. Its a small splash park that has some slides. We also did the lazy river. These were about what you would expect from a water park. Bring water! Or buy water. Whatever you do, have so much water. You will dry out and its like 94° in there. A bottle of water costs $3, bring a bottle and thank me later! (We even brought our lunch and got away with only buying a couple of bottles of water!) It was hard that the lifeguards switched out so often. In the three hours we were at the mill pond I was told so many conflicting things it was enough to make your head spin. Some lifeguards didnt care if my son rode the green slides alone because I wasnt allowed, and others didnt care if an adult went down. I also saw one that was only letting kids go down the two (2) slides just one at a time, like no racing basically. I think they should probably make it so that it is the same information all around from all life guards.

Katie T

great, so much fun

amanda cartier

I loved it

Elliot Schneider

The drive up there is just as enjoyable as being on the mountain. I highly recommend taking a hike if you go here to visit. Beautiful views. Water park is very fun and the hot tub is hard to complain about.

Kathrine Acus

Good experience for our cold winter day away! I didn't get many pictures so this one is not very representative of the place, sorry! Food was pricey and sub par, but we were fine with sharing one smallish snack because we ate before we got there strategically.

Luke McKechnie

Tons of fun.

Kevin Boada

Great indoor park, bit gets small after the second visit

Loved it. Needs more seating

(Translated by Google) Extraordinary for children from 5 to 10 years old. Almost no waiting to slip. 10 minutes waiting for surfing. Only complaint is to have a spa just for adult pcq always full of kids so parents have to wait. Unfortunately the outdoor spa close. A 5h that has passed very quickly. (Original) Extraordinaire pour les enfants de 5 à 10 ans. Presque aucune attente pour glisser. 10 min d'attente pour le surf. Saeed Rafiee

Super dirty. No safety. No shower before entering to pools. You can pass with dirty shoos beside the pool and drink beer beside pool. No controls. No supervision. No rules. Small kids in hot tubs. Slides has no green lights to go. The water was cold and full of hairs and probabely pees as there were no sign for washroom!!! Toilettes super dirty. Lockers small. I am quit surprised with 5 stars. We were 4 families with young kids and even the kids didnt like to come back there. I Never recommend it even to my enemies.

Ryan Tian

Had a great experience here. Enjoyed the water slides and the lazy river. Was a great place to have fun after a day of skiing.

Dimo Ivanov

Just great fun for all ages

Jay Weier

Great water park for both kids and adults! I'm 28 and La Chute is probably the best waterslide I've ever been on. Also, it's great to grab a beer and watch the jumbotron/people falling while trying to surf.

Craig Capello

My kids absolutely love this place. They can't get enough of it. I'd like to call it an annual summer family vacation for us. Hopefully next summer will make it three years in a row.

Braderz Aidil

Fuhh . Nak test.

Nathaniel Todd

We visit almost every year and stay on site at one of the Jay Peak hotels. The waterpark is fairly expensive if you don't get a special offer, but it is a good solid afternoon of fun for all ages. Hot tub, surfing, kiddie pool, lazy river, slides with a variety of intensities, the Pump House is pretty well loaded. Speaking of which, you can even buy adult beverages at the in-park bar, though you will pay a pretty penny. I recommend avoiding the snack bar, though if you do go, order something they don't have premade so you don't get hours old food!

Robert Boskind

What a great way to spend a day

Zoran Bjelic

Fun place for both kids and adults. Plenty of thing to do, food and beverages on site.

Samantha Mcmann

Pretty pricey for a day.. my kids are in there mid teens so they are kind of getter too old for the place. Unfortunately probable last time there.

Moral of this long story: If you go to the pump house and get hurt, don’t expect first aid. It is not “offered” Erica (the manager) and her staff do not care for or show any compassion for their customers. I went with my family on Saturday June 26th. We arrived a little after ten in the morning. The women at the counter all had their cell phones out and weren’t very pleasant. The woman who helped us with our ticket purchase was throwing pens and our debit card across the counter and forgot to give us our bracelets to get in with. Shortly after we changed, my father stepped on a piece of glass and it was stuck in his foot. The manager on site (Erica) refused any kind of first aid. She was aggressive toward us all, didn’t offer a band aid or any antiseptic and when we asked for tweezers to remove the glass she said “we don’t provide tweezers but you can buy them at the gift shop” I went upstairs to the gift shop to buy them and it was closed. She then tried to send me to another store on site. She never offered to help and was clear that she was inconvenienced. When I mentioned the glass still stuck in my fathers foot, her response was “how was I supposed to know it was there?” I asked to speak with the hotel manager and she told me I could go downstairs to talk to her. I insisted that I was a guest there and that her staff could help me. She walked away angry and left her staff to help me. I was put in touch with the hotel manager who brought tweezers for us to use to remove the glass. She was very kind and helpful. Erica did not mange the situation but only escalated it.

This past weekend took my grandsons to water park. Supposed to get room at 4:00. At 8:30, they told us not till ten!! Spent all day running around. Made another reservation....now they tell me the water park is not open then!! This was supposed to be a fun family weekend (both boys just had birthdays!!), but it was the worst time I have ever had. Staff were not very friendly. Manager told us a bunch of S hit just to shut us up. 50% off room!! Still doesn't make up for the disappointment on their faces

Went with two adults two children fun for them but not much for adults.you can only go down the lazy river and tubes so many times after an hour i was ready to go.

Where do I start... The Price. $40 entrence fee, $6 locker, Food $12 All together, $58 To get there and put your stuff in your locker you paid for.. im fine with that $6 We then wanted to go on the slides, this is no joke, we waited 22 minutes to get two single tubes.. there was three of us, so we decided one of use would take the orange no tube slide... to wait that long for a tube is ridiculous. I just paid $40 to get in! So annoying, you you don't have enough tubes to suit your capacity, you need to let less people in.. The snack shack is so small it also can't accompany the mass of people, we waited another 20 minutes to $12 for 3 chicken strips and so dry fries. The place is a joke.

Best waterpark in the state. I especially love the LaChute slide. It's a water-slide that starts in an extended part of the ceiling that you climb into and stand on a trapdoor. Once briefed with how to position yourself, the lifeguard will ask if you're ready to go, and then start the countdown. When it reaches 0, the trapdoor opens and you drop for what feels like forever, then you're brought up and over a curve before bottoming out and exiting the slide. It's all over in a few seconds, but it certainly feels a lot longer. They also have a TV below that lets your friends and family watch you when you're about to drop.

Elie Adaimy

Awedome indoor waterpark. Water is warm. The kids loved it :))

Michael Strobeck

Loved it !!!!!!! I had so much fun and my kids loved at family fun

Had a blast here just beware it can be packed with screaming kids at times. It also has an outdoor hot tub which was very relaxing even in the snow.

FUN FUN FUN... Where else can you go in your swim suit and play in the water while its a mild blizzard outside in APRIL?

There's alot of fun to be had here. There's a good place for kids of different ages ranges. Although the kids area is a bit big and deep for kids 3 and under. And the line for the florider is ridiculous at almost all hours.

(Translated by Google) 4 large slides, a hot water pool, a pool with current running along the wall and the opportunity to surf and / or bodyboard at no additional cost. It is rather hot and the water is not cold. You have to go outside the holiday periods if possible to avoid queues.

Was a good experience. Was worth the trip. Only 3 issues i had. Prices for food are a little high. arcade games are high prices as well. And the lazy river isn't no lizy. It's a mad house of kids jumping at you flipping you over in every direction. Kinda sucks especially for the people who are just trying to float on tubes.

We have two boys (ages 2 and 6) and they absolutely love going to the Pump House. From the time we arrive until we leave because the boys are so tired from all the fun, that they can barely stay up.

Huuuge Waterpark! Always crowded. Especially if you are hoping to find a seat. But it's a lot of fun and a real vacation saver when the outdoors don't cooperate due to weather

David Handelman

Tons of fun. With great water slides, a lazy river, surfing pool, water basketball, water climbing wall, indoor and outdoor hot tubs etc.

Love My experience here!

Really enjoyed my visit. I usually dislike weekend crowds and was pleasantly surprised. Barely any wait and you can enjoy the rides often.

Absolutely amazing quick getaway from montreal. Loved the hot pool in The snow.
